Horrible experience is not to say the least that Google will allow me to post!!! Loan in hand… Charles the used car sales rep text me to come in today between 10am-4pm. Was turned away due to not having a appointment!!! This was the appointment, when you give me a “between” time!!! These cars sell themselves but lazy and sleazy salesman is a turn off and will be a past to come. Never coming to this dealership again and will be buying my car from Carvana!!! Thanks for confirming my buy.

AVOID!! Extremely disorganized, unprofessional, and every negative stereotype car sales has. All around horrible experience.I called to see if a certain car was in stock. A rep named Valerie said it was and then double checked to make certain it wasn’t pending. It wasn’t. I informed her I was driving 4 hours to buy the car & was promised the car would be held. Halfway into my drive, she called to say she made a mistake and the car was actually pending. I started looking at cars at other dealerships when I received a call back from them. They said they had another car very comparable to what I was coming for originally and that it was very close in price. I was sent info and it did look like a great option. Due the prior experience, I had them triple check it’s availability. I explained again that I was driving in from 4 hours away and was told it was absolutely available and promised it would be held. I even called when I was an 45 minutes away to update them and spoke with Shara who confirmed it was supposedly still being held. When my husband and I arrived, we were informed that it was sold just minutes before our arrival. They were not apologetic whatsoever. The manager just shrugged and claimed their was no record of our calls/text and said their system must’ve glitched. Twice. I showed him the text communication and call log. His solution was for us to buy a lesser vehicle that cost several thousand more and to force us to finance for a minuscule discount from the manufacture (we wanted to pay cash). It absolutely felt like a bait and switch.

By far the worst experience with not only sales and service, but Managers Dustin and John H. Go out of their way to ignore their customers issues at any expense until a complaint shows up on their on their desk. Even then, the managerial staff will just deny and dismiss any relevant concerns that the customer may have. The only thing this staff seems to be good at is ignoring phone calls.

I was helped by Alex and Shaun over the purchase of my 2018 CX-5. They were super throughal in the breakdown of the car as well as already having the price point being highly competitive in a 200mi radius. It was a smooth and quick purchase experience and felt that the communication and ethics were both substantially integrated into the whole process.

I bought a car here, first time working with a dealership. Took me 10 calls in a day to get a single test drive arranged after they said they couldnt find the title(??). Eventually I was able to, but the car had a distinctly low tire when they pulled around. They took it back, filled it up, and that was good. Brakes acted funny, I could tell it was bad rotors. They said they resurfaced them and replaced the pads. The pads were new, rotors looked alright from the outside. Inner side of the rotors were not resurfaced, where it was actually a problem. One tire ended up leaking and having a nail stuck into it, which was promptly patched after replacing the front rotors for $120. The car works fantastic otherwise, and I wasnt going to find another one like it for the price. But they outright lied about some of the work done on it. Fortunately I knew it was a risk and that the work was simple enough for me to do, so I took it. Still, I dont think Id be shopping here for another vehicle unless I found another steal like this one.

Highly dissatisfied with the service I received. The employees seem to be unorganized. When looking for my first car I fell in love with one that had a few scratches and paint chips. I was assured that the paint guy could fix it as long as I brought it back the following week. I drove out to get the repairs, only for them to tell me “the paint guy wasn’t there” and to bring it back the following Monday. After bringing it back, they then proceeded to tell me that that couldn’t fix pearl white paint. It seemed like it was excuse after excuse. If purchasing a used vehicle, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

The customer service at this place is extremely lacking. I get that theres a pandemic going on, however I expect some level of care to still exist. I reached out THREE MONTHS ago to someone via live chat, told them my situation, and was promised a call back within the next few days. I left my info with her, and no one ever called me back. So I decided to shoot them an email to see whats up (that was about 2 months ago or so) and no one replied to my email. Then, about a week ago I noticed an email in my junk from someone who works at this dealership, saying something along the lines of were you still interested in a vehicle? We may have better deals now than we did when we first talked LOL when did we first talk?!?! Anyways I replied and told them Im still interested and will likely be buying in September, and again I got no response! What the hell?! The entire experience has been so offputting that Ill now likely drive out an additional hour to go to a different Mazda/Nissan dealer.

I had been searching for a quality used cargo van for close to 2 months without any luck... several dealerships advertised what looked like a great deal, only to find out it was the old bait & switch as soon as they got me in the door.I contacted James online and he was able to track down the perfect truck for our company. He had it picked up from the Waterford location and I was able to come in and test drive the next day. My experience with the Used Car Department of Troy Suburban was a pleasant surprise after being misled by several other dealerships in the area. The finance department worked diligently to get us the best terms, the vehicle was completely detailed before delivery, and James even came to our Royal Oak office to get final documents signed by us.5 Star rating all around. They made us feel welcome & appreciated and James was the ultimate professional. Truly elite service. I highly recommend anyone looking for quality used vehicles to go see James and the staff at Troy Suburban.

Came in here to purchase a used car. Got a fair deal. Josh and his boss Rob ensured that my request to get the minor scratches gets addressed and also got me the windshield replaced as it had some chips and cracks. The title transfer and plate were made available on the same day of purchase. Hassle free process. Overall very helpful staff and nice purchasing experience.

Called for quote on labor charge on an oil change (brought my own Mobil synthetic oil from Costco). $12.50 labor, $6 for oil filter over the phone. When I get there, $37 for labor and the parts guy didnt even mention other parts over the phone. I wanted a full quote on labor and parts, minus the oil.The service department has always been a hassle. Quote prices to get you in and change it up on a whim. Additionally, this particular dealership overcharges on Nissan genuine parts and labor. If you check other Nissan dealerships, they have cheaper costs on the same stuff. The staff doesnt really care about you unless youre willing to write them a blank check. Terrible attitude all around.Sales side mixed up paperwork, made me the cosigner when I was the primary buyer, then gave me a faulty car starter that they cant fix (third-party) as icing on the cake.I would avoid this place and go somewhere with better service, more knowledgeable people.

Also they made me do all of the leg work to get payoffs. Customer service there is none. All they did us pass me around as if I was too much work to sell a car to. Big mistake Im the corporate buyer of vechiles for my company.

Getting a new car is always exciting, but the process is something I truly dislike. However my experience at Suburban Imports of Troy made the entire process simple and pain free. I started off by utilizing the chat message that pops up when youre on the website, and a few days later I drove away with a new car. Justin Pantoya was great to work with and when teamed with this supervisor they worked their magic and got me into my beautiful new/used car. I got bought out of a lease and was not really in a good place, but they helped make it all possible and I am truly grateful! If getting a new/used car can be this easy, I will definitely be coming back in the future. Thanks again, Justin and the entire Suburban Imports of Troy team!

We were greeted immediately after entering the dealership and introduced to Justin, the salesman working with us for the day. Justin was very confident and professional. He asked us if we wanted any refreshments before we sat down to discuss our car of choice. He even showed us a few other options in our price range while we waited for the car to be brought out for a test drive. Also, before we hit the road he gave us a rundown and a tour of the car’s features which was nice. Ironically we ended up purchasing one of the alternatives Justin recommended at the start so we’re thankful he made sure we weren’t limiting our options. When it came time talk price and sign paperwork he was fair and explained everything very well. I’d recommend Justin to any customer looking for a positive experience at Suburban Imports of Troy.

I was very happy with my experience at Suburban imports. The salesman (Oleg Kovtun) was very pleasant to deal with. Not pushy at all. Even the finance manager (normally the part that I dread) was easy to deal with and got me a lower interest rate with my credit union. Pretty much my ideal car-buying experience. Thanks, guys.

Ive had more issues here in 3 weeks than I had with Toyota in 7+ years. Pre-owned sales is utterly worthless, certified pre-owned car broke down a day after buying it (with 9,000 miles on it), their rental smelled like smoke, wouldnt trust the service department to fix a toy submarine in a bathtub, secretary is downright rude, management doesnt get back to you, the list goes on and on. I very much regret ever coming to this dealership as this has been a colossal waste of my time.

Suburban Imports of Troy has an unbelievable amount of cars to choose from, as well as a knowledgable and friendly staff. I went in hoping to purchase a pre-owned Mazda CX-3, but ended up instead purchasing a pre-owned Mazda CX-5. I found the CX-3 wasnt large enough to suit my needs, and James immediately suggested taking a peek at their larger SUV inventory. I was able to directly compare both the Nissan Rogue and several Mazda CX-5s, and ended up with the perfect car for my needs. The dealership was able to help me get some of the options my car was missing with minimal hassle, and James worked hard to solve any small issues that arose quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend Suburban Imports, and would also highly recommend you ask for James Sirr!

I purchased a used vehicle here back in March and had quite a few issues following delivery. When test driving, the sales person, Joe, basically answered any request I had with sure, we can do that for you. He just said anything he needed to in order to get the sale, as it was end of the month. I worked with David to reach an agreeable number for both my trade in and the vehicle to be purchased, and he did quite a bit for me there, so I was satisfied with him in that regard. Joe told me that some damaged accessories could be replaced if I were to purchase the vehicle, so I went ahead and made the purchase. It took almost 2 full months for me to actually get these replacement items. In that time, there were a lot of missed phone calls, lies about hold-ups in ordering, wrong parts ordered and a few other random excuses. Luckily, I had a form signed by both myself and David stating what was owed to me, so I just had to be patient. The larger issue is that the vehicle sold to me, while having a clean CarFax, had been in an accident. I took the vehicle to a LaFontaine dealer that specialized in the make of my vehicle for a thorough checkup and after going through the vehicle, they broke the news to me about the accident. I should have known that since the vehicle wasnt being sold as CPO at the dealership across the street (a 2015 model with ~20k miles) that there was an issue somewhere. The kind folks at LaFontaine assured me that the repairs were done properly and the vehicle was safe to drive, so at least there was that.I wont ever deal with any dealership in the Suburban family again, and have found a new family of dealerships that has gone out of their way to correct issues and uncertainty from a competing company. If you do end up going through Suburban Imports of Troy (Nissan) for a used vehicle, be sure you get it checked out by a 3rd party mechanic, take the vehicle to another dealership for a once-over, and get absolutely everything in writing.

After unsuccessfully getting the sales person Patrick to call me back I tried another person, Liz. I scheduled to test drive a vehicle but once I drove the 2 1/2hours to the lot, I was told the vehicle was at another lot 45 mins away. I was told it would take over 2 hours for them to get the vehicle to me. I left frustrated with my experience. Since then I have emailed and called their sales manager and GM and no one has called me back.
