This comment is specific for cake area only. We bought cake and the lady at the counter (young lady) had the reaction that really rude. We picked one type and there is several colors there. She didnt ask us which color we wanted. When we said we wanted pink, she started to ignore us. Then she put the cake on the box. We said we want to write Happy birthday our lovely niece. She said too late. She already packed iit. So, we bought the decoration jel ourselves to write that word on the cakeCake cost $38.

Ladies in the deli were polite and eager to help. Bagger also had good customer service. Store clean, shelves were well stocked.

Butcher very very helpful am sorry I have forgotten his name. I was looking for a small turkey wh he did not have.. .but he convinced me to buy some parts.. they turned out to be great !

So I went into this market and I asked a question about do they expect snap ebt? To one of the employees she shrugged her shoulders and said what! Ask my manager or a cashier. Needless to say we was already bothered by how we was being treated from the start. The little old lady with the brown and white hair said theres my manager while everyone was looking like they was mad. The manager rolled her eyes and walked away so fast as though she didnt want to talk to us. Customer service at this store was horrible im not happy about how we was treated 😒 never again will I visit this store again 😒

It’s one of the best local stores. They have a fresh bakery for everyday breakfasts. Fresh apple juice from one of the cider mills. There are many items that you feel comfortable to get from this store. Good place for produce, and any cooler items for quick grab without wasting much time in the store. Prices are reasonable too.

Best meats around. Never crowded. A bit on the pricier side for staples than other places.

Hidden gem for getting great cuts of meat. I highly recommend the center cut fillet. They also have an amazing assortment of sides. Def try the hummus.

I give HM 4.5 stars. I am new to the area and had passed this grocery several times—there are other groceries closer to me. But I decided to run in for a couple of items. Score!This is a genuinely great environment to shop in. Friendly staff, great produce, busy and well-staffed meat counter (wish they had a few more organic options but was still very impressed with what I saw). I noticed items that I had seen at Westborn but for cheaper. 👍 Westborn does have more in prepared takeout food, however.This is similar to the grocery I remember as a kid in a small town but with a way better selection. I found some items here that I have NEVER SEEN at any other place in the metro area including Nino’s and Westborn. They even had Clorox clothing sanitizer here. If you are a person who likes to cook real meals or enjoys fresh produce this is a very good choice. I saw Dearborn Hams here too. Yay!Will be adding this store to my rotation.

Hollywood gets five stars for the meat alone; Ive never been disappointed by anything I got from the butcher counter. I will say that the location on Campbell has better varieties of stuffed chicken, but this location has better kabobs; the yakiniku ones are great.The rest of the store is pretty good too.

The baby spinach/bowtie pasta was a refreshing surprise in the deli. The every changing hot foods section should catch your attention. Had to try the Kale Pesto Roasted Red Potatoes. The Ribs, Chicken & potato wedges are staples. Dont forget to check out the baked goods case or the stores weekly specials.

An old fashioned, full-service butcher and grocery. Top quality meat. Special ordered meat for an old family recipe, they prepared it perfectly. Never a doubt, you can count on Hollywood.

If you want to exercise while grocery shopping, go to one of the superstores. If you want to go in, grab a few items, chat a bit, pick up the last couple of items, chat a bit more at checkout, and head for the parking lot, this is your place.

Best meat in town. A bit expensive if you buy the Kowalski kielbasa, but its the best. Nice service and people.

I have shopped at Hollywood for over 40 years. Between the Royal Oak store and this location they have taken care of all of my shopping needs. Easy to special order items and a nice variety in store. Prices equal to the foid value. Troy is growing the organic department which is a very good thing.

If you love Michigan Hudsonville ice cream this place carries a great variety of flavors. If you cant find your favorite flavor elsewhere it might be here. Just leave a few for me please. Produce is fresh and delicious. The deli staff memorized my husbands monthly order and are always fast and friendly.

A local favorite, Hollywood Market has been around for years. Very good quality, always clean and well stocked. Some prices may be higher than some of the mega marts, but its worth it to stay out of those places if you prefer the local neighborhood grocery store.

Ive been to this grocery store a few times and its a great grocery store if youre in the area. Its a smaller grocery store and I would compare it to Whole Foods, but smaller. I typically go here to get Strawberry Arizona teas and they carry them.

I love the all of the Hollywood Markets, this is number 3 for their stores turning Eastbourne is very hard to do here. This store is laid out the opposite way of their origin Royal Oak locale. Meat, Deli and produce are phenomenal.

Parking is terrible, off to the side, not convenient at all. The store is setup like an old school store where you are herded from the entrance to the checkout via a single path, making it difficult to navigate through the store for a quick grocery run. To add insult to injury, after finally making it to the item I was after I was shocked to discover that the price of chicken here was over 2x the price per pound of the same chicken (brand, type) at Kroger. Will NEVER come back to this place, I recommend going to a bigger chain where youll get better value and an easier experience (albeit a busier experience).

I love coming to this one. Live closer to the 1 in royal oak and Madison Heights. It is the only place I buy my meats.
