Best one Ive been to. Good layout mostly fresh and the team is good . Fast checkout
I wish I could give this place 10/5 stars because of their great attitude, unlimited kindness and their generosity. I usually do shopping there, but the thing that gives me this positive impression is when I was going to inflate balloons for a birthday party, and how the employees there helping me and advising me, They were so great. I wish I know their names to thank them here.
This place is a great place for fresh food. You can quickly get whatever you need and walk away. They also have a great bakery. Make sure to check that out. They have a good variety of items and it is all reasonably priced. The staff can sometimes be rude, but a lot of them are very nice. It has a great pick up which is extremely convenient. That is for my review. It’s overall a great place!
This particular Kroger was quite sad. Multiple items completely out of stock. Produce department sparse and low quality. I watched one of the produce stock boys, throwing peaches into the display. And I wonder why my fruits and vegetables are bruised 🙄
The Kroger on Crooks is not nearly as good as the one in Rochester at Walton and Livernois. I use Click-List and they almost always either tell me my order was already picked up and have to get a supervisor involved, or they tell me they couldnt substitute basic things. I refuse to believe there is no deli turkey anywhere in the store. I dont care what brand it is, thats why I elected to allow substitutions! It is so disappointing 😞
Ive picked up orders at this location several times and typically Im really happy with the service. However, when I picked up my order this morning (which they postponed because they didnt have it ready when it was supposed to be, yesterday evening), I couldnt believe how rude the pickup representative was. Kroger, you are in the customer service industry. Hire better people, this young lady has no business dealing with the public.
Not sure what the problem was with Caleb in the self service check out but he was completely unprofessional. After rudely stepping in front of me to take my bottle slips, I still acknowledged his efforts and he wasnt even courteous enough to say thank you. However, he did say thank you to another parton who was leaving. I cant help but think it was because I was wearing my Police hat and vest because I would bet my home that is wasnt because of being colored! I will leave it at that! Get a better handle on your customer service skills Caleb. There are many colored people shopping at Kroger!
Very nice staff, and reasonable prices. I love the samples they give all the time.
I love the variety of food they have. Everything is usually in stock to.
I usually go to the Kroger at 25 mile because its closer to my home but I needed to return cans and bottles for work the other day so I came here. The man at the front door greeting everyone and sanitizing carts was so so helpful and kind!! Thank you
Went in for flowers extremely disappointed all of them look like they were almost completely dead. Not a single employee i walked by said hello or anything just extremely disappointed..
This Kroger is awful. The lanes are so narrow that shopping is uncomfortable. The reason I’m leaving this review is because staff is also extremely RUDE. Shop another Kroger if that’s your thing, I’ll stick to Meijer.
Love the supermarket. Very reasonably priced with good fresh food. The product are reasonably priced. The staff are great. The location is also convenient. Highly recommend.
I do have to say this and I hate to say it because I shop here all the time but this is the second time this cashier has been rude to me and my husband if your not African American she will not talk to you and she is just rude as can be and her name is Camille I will never go in her isles ever again I repeat never thats just not good customer service in my opinion....
I work night shifts and after getting home I have to get my kids ready for school and go to sleep. Their kroger pick up works wonders for me. The ladies that work there a wonderful, even if I forget to add an item or two on there I just mention it and they grab it for me. It helps me out a lot especially when I can just swing by on my way home from work. This lets me have more time to spend with my kids! A great staff that goes above and beyond for you.
Very rude experience with the bakery staff tonight. I’m writing this review as this isn’t the first rude encounter that I’ve experienced. I’ve had multiple experiences at this location where the employees are rude, disrespectful and just unfriendly. I will not be returning to this Kroger in the future. I would recommend a refresher class on “proper customer service” for your employees.
The manager on Sunday is very rude her customer service and people skills are TERRIBLE. I refuse to go in there on Sunday morning.
I heard on the news (TV) that Kroger had a Senior Hour: 7 am - 8 am, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. An employee at the store said they dont have a Senior Hour. All Kroger stores changed their closing time from 10 pm to 9 pm. starting Saturday, 3/21/20. However, this store in Troy on Crooks Rd. and South Blvd started one day earlier, Friday 3/20/20 - very frustrating when we got there at 9:45 pm found them them closed. This store does not comply with the hours mentioned in the news media. The Customer Service Desk has a lot to be desired. It is understaffed. You might wait in line for several minutes because they usually only have one person working at the desk. Often times, there is nobody there. Ive waited up to 10 minutes sometimes for somebody to come. They definitely could use one of those desk school bells that you could tap to get their attention. If you need help in the Produce section, good luck finding someone. They need a call button or phone for customers that need assistance. Also, the store needs more price scanners and the 2 that I know of are not easily found or identified. Good luck finding them.Employee morale appears lower compared to when previous management (Bob Smith, he was great) ran the store. The best part of the store is their pharmacy. Mark, Nermean and Lyn do an excellent job of processing my prescriptions and answering any questions I might have.
General big box grocery store with the usual items, but this place has something the other stores lack...CUSTOMER SERVICE. The employees are friendly, help you find things in the store, advise you on specials, and are knowledgeable about the products they sell. The floral department does a great job arranging flowers in a bouquet for you to suit any occasion.
Just one of the many locations. This particular store is always clean and orderly. The staff is always in abundance and friendly. The location makes it an idea spot too. Its only minutes from my work and home. In a nutshell, this Kroger is fast, friendly and convenient.
Very well maintained and stocked store. Great prices on items needed. Friendly employees, and easy to use self checkout. Lots of shopping carts inside of store, and lots of free parking available. Easily seen from the roadway.
This Kroger store stepped up and prepared 130 full turkey meals that were purchased and delivered by the Troy Rotary Foundation for deserving families in SE Michigan. They must have worked all night to make this event so successful. Thank you to the managers for agreeing to this huge task and for the employees for making it happen.
Pick up is great & Emerald is such a positive joy!
This is the worst store ever, everytime I drive a long distance to go here and I never find what I need
It seems as if this location gets worse every trip. They are constantly removing items from their shelves and as a result they do not have a very good selection. For the items that they do carry, the shelves always seem to be empty. The store is cramped and often dirty. The produce is never fresh and is often times accompanied by fruit flies. Given the location of this Kroger, it should be in much better shape.
Ive honestly never had a bad experience at this Kroger. Ive been shopping here for years and the employees have always been enjoyable, and the night staff is amazing! Thats always been a huge plus to me if Im in there shopping late.
Love this store everyone helpful and friendly
Shelf space is lacking, as a result no desired inventory. The chain would be better served if it focuses on what it does best and less focused on their nearest competitor offerings which are more in the specialty product categories. Bottom-line, stay in your lane in order to gain more sales. Do a product sales analysis to determine product demand. This is more than a suggestion. My wife and I looked for two different items and ran into the same problem, lack of inventory which equates into missed sales/revenue.
Great staff! Kris at the customer service desk was super helpful and accommodating regarding my rain check. Thanks again!
This Kroger is small, compared to the one in Rochester on Livernois. It is quick, but sometimes it doesnt have everything and I must make a trip to Rochester. But overall its pretty good. It needs to expand.
I have been shopping at this location for over 10 years. Im not sure what changes they have made but if you shop there today they look like they are going out of business. There are empty shelves everywhere. This is the 2nd time Ive been there with empty shelves. Someone needs to help this location.Hopefully something changes soon.
Very good, the store was organized, and the food and groceries are very clean and fresh and it is very trustable. I love this Grocery store. This is the most trustable store that I go to.
Terrible customer service from David, the assistant customer service manager. Very rude......
I am impressed that I came to the store at 7pm and the fruit, vegetables, meat case and shelves were stocked. So, often I would go to other stores and they would be cleaned out. I was waited on right away in the deli. But, the one thing that I was most impressed by was the cashier checking the customers ID that wanted to purchase cigarettes.
Cashier was great. Store brand products are high quality. Sales are great, except you have to search for items featured on sale. Sale tags always seem to be in front of the wrong items. Love free friday downloads!
Smaller store, which I like. The only thing they ever run out of is my specially bread. Other than that I can find everything. The store is laid out well. Management is responsive to specific requests. I wanted MacIntosh apples. I guess the are not as popular as they used to beNow they have them lines are usually short. Staff is helpful.
I visited this Kroger’s location on August 8th. I will never go back. I have been a loyal customer for many years, and was treated horribly at this location. The manager Brooke was extremely rude. I feel like I was racially discriminated against, and any person of color should avoid this location at all cost.
Always have to look for small shopping carts, this store NEVER has them available they are however all over the parking lot. Store management does not seem to care that there are no small carts available. Many open spaces on the shelves makes it look like they are going out of business. Friendly staff however. Also the management seems to allow long lines to firm before they realize that a line 5 customers deep needs more than 1 cashier open
This Krogers is a halfway decent grocery store but again like the trends of all local grocery stores theres only one cashier and for self check out lanes. It seems that every grocery store I walk into this day lacks customer service. The cashiers are wonderful when theyre there. Its really the management not having the more cashiers available at heavier traffic times.
MOST of the employees here are friendly. They will say hello with a smile and help you when you need it. The store is clean with no weird smells. There is a small section in the international foods section that sells Delallo products and they sell their olives near the deli. They also have a fair selection of chunk cheeses there too.
Very small store, so not a wide selection of many items. Aisles are ridiculously narrow. The checkout lanes are also very short, theres hardly any room to place your items on the conveyor belt of you have a full basket. So it takes longer to unload and in the meantime your bagged groceries are piling up at the other end.
Their meat counter has the best cuts of meat. I dont buy my steaks anywhere else they are so good everytime!Staff are all friendly and helpful.
Smaller kroger. Nice, clean, and friendly meat and seafood department. Not usually to busy and most items are always stocked. I go during the week days after 4.
This new facility is laid-out well, very efficient, helpful employees and extraordinarily quick chek-out at a busy time of day. I was raised in the South and this store (only) was reminiscent of Publix Markets in Florida...courteous, well stocked and helpful people in every part of the store.
-Gas $s too high!!!!!-Digital coupons didnt work on Post great grains cereal!!!!!-LINDA, cashier was friendly and efficient.-Dairy associate was exceptionally friendly and very helpful. (Name unknown-blond)
Good Kroger. Associates are friendly and its easy to find what you need.
There is a Lady behind the counter of the cake area. A Chaldean lady. She is very very raciest. She doesnt think that there should be any mixed kids in the world. Black&White Chaldean&black White&Mexican. Any of them. Its messed up. She had said things a few times to people. How is she not fired.... Why would Kroger let this happen.
Everythings always fresh and items always fully stocked. Very clean also. 5 STARS
Probably the best in store dining Ive ever experienced. Lots of vegan choices.
Nice large supermarket that stocks just about any grocery item you could want. Clean store, nice cashiers. Public restrooms.
Twice I’ve come here and both times I’ve seen employees and customers walking around the store without masks on despite signs in front of the entrance clearly stating that everyone inside the building must have a mask on. Why are the rules not being enforced??
Kroger is very convenient because there are stores everywhere. They should offer better bread quality though.
Friendly people and a great place to shop my favorite store.
Good grocery store, large selection, has most anything. Produce seems fresh.
First time in this store. There are more selections of organic produce in this store. Love Krogers fresh produce
Deli needs to separate cold cut slices with paper instead stuffing 2 lbs together into the bag. The people at the 18th mile Kroger do a better job
Steak I bought Yesterday smells sour though I put them in the refrigerator. PS:It doesn’t exceed the expire date...Some Mushroom has mold on it though most of them in the box is good...Bad day…
Adam the manager is extremely rude made false promise of cashing my check if i returned in an hour.. cashier rude .wont cash check for 4000 although max limit is 5000.. Extremely discriminative.
Some of the stuff are very mean if you ask them for a help they don’t like and the answer are very mean .I ask a lady blond hair in her 60 for some change she just said that I am not supposed to open the machine to give you the chance and she didn’t say an hello or thank you just tru away my grocery stuff like a garbage....and then she walks out of her desk pretending she’s doing something to avoid to sai thank you or have a good night..this is not for the first time when this is happened....I think they have to check them more often and make a change. This is not the way how you treat the customers!!!
Horrible grocery store, but here in south east michigan they have little to know competition. Carry less brand name items each month. They bought marianos in chicago....a wonderful store. Wonder why they cant bring the same quality here. I would love to see some other chain to give them some competition. Giving one star because you have to give a star to post otherwise I would give a negative star
My FAVORITE MEATMAN DAVE is retiring....Im so sad!!! Gonna miss you Dave you are the best. ENJOY RETIREMENT! You deserve it!!
This Kroger is a former Farmer Jack building. When Kroger took over the building they reset the store and it has some of the narrowest aisles of any grocery store Ive ever seen. I wish they would build a new building or expand the one they have.
Great store ....but will be glad when construction is over...
Very clean great selection and price is pretty average
After waiting nearly 10 minutes at customer service for lottery tickets with no one in attendance I decided to call to get someones attention. The customer service rep arrived and promptly answered the phone while I stood there. Why is it that the phone is more important than me standing right there?Ironic really that it was me on the phone as well !
Customer service was really great and the store just had a welcoming feel to it that intrigued new customers.
The mens bathroom urinal is absolutely disgusting. It appears to have mold in the drain. Need to change that asap or just remodel the entire bathroom.
Very good all around store. Great service when help is needed.
Very friendly staff, but they tend to be all out of common items (especially in produce) on a regular basis. So if youre looking for a one stop shop I wouldnt go to this one as you likely wont find everything on your list.
No problems there at all. Cashier was kind also.
Dont carry 24 cubes of My. Dew😣😪! But they are nice....
Clean and easy to get in and out of the store quickly. Plus, having a gas station on site makes redeeming Kroger points that much easier.
Not a hand basket or cart in the store. Had to go back outside and bring one in.
Always out of stuff. I mean come on no Edy chocolate ice cream and no Kroger brand poppyseed dressing
They always have everything I need.
Great store. Super friendly staff.
Not closed down! This is a great place, everyone is very friendly and neighborly.
Treated real nice there workers where very helpful good service
Easy to find the food I want to buy! Love shopping here!
Great place to go shopping for food. Services here is great.
Good, clean Kroger store. Nicer than others located further south.
Quality of meat from this location is poor. Otherwise, it’s a typical Kroger and only “close” grocery store in this area.
My fav kroger, great wine selection and helpful employees!
Very poor red wine selection.
No easy access restroom during shopping! Aisles are kind of dense and crowded.
Been here four times and was never greeted once. There wont be a 5th trip, to any Kroger.
Small aisles and cramped shopping. Kroger is my favorite grocery store, however the one here is just too narrow and has less items.
Prices and deals are great! Thank you
The store is nice, just have a problem with the pop can and bottle return machines not working most of the time. Dont bother trying to return pop cans and bottles here.
Good and convenient, close to home, good workers
Edgar from the produce department is very helpful and a nice guy
Clean store, well stocked, nice deli
Decided to give this place a try, was as expected. On a weekend at 11:00 a.m. there were only two checkout lanes open, neither being an express lane.
The kroger was great!
Waited in line for several minutes while cashier, John was looking at something. When I asked him if he can check out the items, he just mumbled something and walked away. How rude :(
I like Kroger stores but this one is sad. Needs updating
Clean and well organized.
It is old, dirty, unattended to and the produce section is a joke... Unstocked and poor quality. I dont know of a less enjoyable Kroger to visit! ...
Coming to this store is a waste of time. i recommend choosing another Kroger
No premium selection bread on shelf 8:00 pm -- stopped for just that :(
