Large variety of lamps and parts, excellent customer service.
I went here to get an antique lamp repaired as I heard they do this service. They no longer do this as the man quit. Guess Ill have to try fixing it by watching a YouTube video. Nobody fixes anything anymore.
Ordered lamp shades from Lamp Store because could not find them anywhere. For 50 year old brass lamps. They told me to clean brass with catsup and Dawn and water. They turned out beautiful. Great advise and good service.
Love these guys. They get it done.
Has fixed many of my lamps and brought life back to them has been able to do anything Ive asked and the result is amazing
They were able to restore a family heirloom to top shape. Great work and highly recommend.
Poor communication. Took a lamp to be repaired. One month later no work had yet to take place in it because the workers had a cold
Very pleased with work
I had bought 2 lamps there previously. A touch lamp for my mom and a bedside lamp for myself. Outstanding custom job. Decent price. Had a short in my lamps I took it to them to fix, told them I bought it there and they didnt charge me!!!!My mom needs a floor lamp, and wanted me to go to Lowes. I asked if she was crazy, Ill go back to the lamp store instead and I told her she can have any shade she wants. She wants a shade with the crystals hanging down Lowes wont have THAT!!!
Awesome gentlemen who know there stuff.
The Lamp Shop is located in Troy, near El Sombrero on 25A. Look carefully, you dont want to miss it! They seem to have a variety of lamps available all of the time, but I think a large portion of their business is refurbishing vintage lighting. I got to peek in the back room, and there are hundreds (if not thousands) of glass globes, crystals, and floor lamps - stuff I remember my grandparents owning. A great resource for finding outdated switches and such too. They revamped a brass student lamp I had, adding brackets to hold glass globes. It looks amazing!
New location on 25A north of downtown Troy. Very friendly and accommodating. Had an antique slip-shade chandelier taken their for restoration. When I went to pick it up, you would have thought it was brand new. Excellent job and service; will be returning.
From scratch fire extinguisher lamp.Really out of the park.A very nice quality job. Thanks
Easy to find. Friendly and helpful individuals. Would definitely recommend them to others.
These guys know their lamps, lighting, and all your brightening needs! They have a great variety and are honest. They can do custom work and repairs or you can buy stuff right off the floor!
The repair on my stainded glass shade looks good, but they lost the rose cap on top to hold it on
WRONG LAMP SHADE SHIPPED. I returned it via usps. Cost me $11.10. Its been 9 days since i was told it was in the mail. 3 times i was misleaded
Ive never been there myself, but my friend works there and hes pretty cool, so Im sure its pretty cool over there. ;l

Friendliness and service
I found an antique chandelier that matched two others in my pre 1900 home. It was in very poor condition, filthy dirty, with the cloth insulation falling off of the wiring. I dropped it off to be restored and rewired. It took a year, but I have it back and they got the metalwork just right, clean but not stripped back to bare aluminum. Just the right patina.. It matches the existing fixtures perfectly. They rewired it with a close approximation of the original cloth wrapped insulated wire. The color is different, but they will be in different rooms so until I have them update the others with new wiring it should not be to obvious.
