Lou the manager was super friendly. I needed frames that matched an old pair of lenses and he went through each box to find me different options with different price ranges not just what fit but what I could afford. He was friendly and cordial and had me in and out in under 30 min. Thanks again Lou!

The service at the store Westfield mall Trumbull, CT is great. Sue a worker there was very helpful. They really cared about what my 6 y/o daughter needed.

Everyone was super friendly and accommodating! They are just terribly overpriced. I left and ordered the same exact frames (Raybans) on Glassesusa for $120.The website does not take insurance but you can use your HSA card or file a reimbursement claim with insurance. They were trying to charge me over $400 AFTER insurance. I have worn glasses for 24 years and that is insane! They also told me a year supply of contacts was over 800 dollars??? I paid $300 with the same insurance/same type of contacts at another provider last year. Insane.. I would definitely come back for an exam but will buy glasses/contacts elsewhere!

Sue is the best! She is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. She made sure that I got the pair that I truly wanted. Also, she is super thorough when she fits you with your frames. Overall great experience - I left outta there happy and feeling good.

I have been a loyal Lenscrafters’s customer at the Trumbull location for over 15 years and I have to say my latest experience was beyond disappointing. While Lou was fabulous when I needed to come back several times for a frame adjustment, Sue was just rude and unwilling to assure me she would not break my frames before she attempted to adjust them, frames which I purchased at this site two years ago. I recently had the lenses replaced (which she sold me) and wanted to keep my frames b/c I love them. When she sold me the new lenses she never said anything about problems adjusting my frames. But today, when I came in for an adjustment, Sue told me if the frames broke during the process I’d be out of luck, and basically on the hook to buy new lenses and frames, after I just dropped close to a thousand dollars here! This is no way to do business. I will not be purchasing any more glasses from this store! Really floored at how I was just treated. So much for customer service!

Everyone was nice and helpful (I haven’t been in since Covid started) about letting me know where to put glasses. I was given a tray for frames I liked. The guy who rung up the frames I picked out was very nice. He gave me the best deal amd let me know they would be ready tomorrow. A+

Would give 0 stars if that was an option. After over 2 weeks waiting finally get a text for my sons glasses only to go there and find out it was a mistake and they have to reorder. Another week more and still nothing. Have had amazing experiences at other locations in the past but will never go to this one again.

Their customer service is great. The store assistant manager Emrah went above and beyond to understand and fix my issue with great care.

Scheduled an eye exam for my dad. A friend that works at lencrafters recommended I stop in to get him a new prescription. When I get there, they charge $190 for the standard eye exam, more than double for other LensCrafters, since they are independent doctors. In the disclosures, they said that due to Covid they require you to have a digital imaging which is sophisticated technology and they do not give you the option to opt out. My dad really needed an updated prescription and they charge a 100 to cancel your appointment so I went ahead with it. I asked the lady up front for more transparency on the hike in pricing to no avail other than them being private owners. Really unethical to charge clients more because you can and then charge them if they want to cancel their appointment because of pricing.

My optician was excellent. Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

I would give zero starts if I could -The store/lab screwed up my order not once, but twice. I am now waiting going on 7 weeks without glasses. While the people who work in the store are nice people, the overall customer service ethos is lacking.On September 8 I ordered glasses, the lenses needed to be done offsite, and I was told it would be two weeks. Two weeks goes by and I receive a phone call that the lenses came in but did not pass your quality check in the store so they would need to reorder. Ok, fine, disappointing, but I can wait. I asked if they can fast-track it since I have been waiting for two weeks and I was told no. Two more weeks go by and my glasses do not come in. Finally, On October 3rd my glasses come in. I go to the store to pick them up and try on. I am having trouble seeing out of the glasses and they do not feel right. Optician tells me that its normal, especially with a change in prescription. Wear them home and then finally realize that they are not correct. On Monday, the 5th I bring them to the store, the optician takes them to the lab and comes back out to inform me that the lab did not put the prism in the lens, thus they will need to send back. I asked if they could fast-track this and of course she said no.

Ive been with Lens Crafters now for many years and have been consistently happy with their professionalism with both exams and selection process for glasses.

Natalie in the store is a total rock star. We loved working with her!

Wonderful experience. The manager Victoria provided outstanding customer service. I have a rather strong prescription and she was able to help me choose the right frame and correct lenses so that I did not look like I was wearing coke bottles. I also got this filter that is built into the glasses to help with eye strain on my computer, totally awesome! The glasses came in earlier than expected and were perfect. Called yesterday for an appointment for regular eye exam and contacts. Being new I showed up at 3:30 for my 4:00pm appt to do paperwork. They took me right in afterwards and was out of there by 4:15 with exam done and fresh contacts. 👍

So glad I came here for my eye exam! The doctor and staff were professional and knowledgeable and I was finished with my exam and new contacts order in no time! Will definitely be going there from now on! Thanks again!

Had an awful experience at this location. I had broken frames that needed immediate repair on account Im blind without my glasses. I went in and spoke with a sales woman with short gray hair and she was un helpful, and unwilling to help someone in need. I was even willingly to get a whole exam and glasses without any insurance. She was dismissive and made me feel completely un welcomed by refusing me service. I was able to see an optometrist in the stratford Walmart and was able to get a repair. Would never come back to this place!

Horrible experience at the eye doctors. The doctor herself was very very rude and kept giving attitude because she couldnt measure my prescribtion correctly. She kept telling me that i didnt know what i was talking about but i know for a fact she gave the wrong prescription because my prescription went down by more than half from my last visit??? How does that make sense. Wasted a eye appointment.

The doctor was behind schedule and I had 2 appointments and the 1st thing the girl said was that because I was 10 min late they dont know if they can see me, and that was after telling me I didnt have a appointment. I had an awful experience at this location. The staff are so rude! Go anywhere else but here. The staff in Trumbull are very nasty. I had to just walk out. There were two women--Sue and Ximara. Neither said hello or made themselves available even though they were not assisting anyone and one of them was playing on the computer. Sue, the staffperson in her 60s rudely asked me What do you need? when I approached her for help. She then lied to me when I asked for help locating a specific lenscrafters frame. She told me they did not have any internet access and could not help me. I asked to speak with the manager and the manager, Ximara, did not apologize at all and just brought out an IPAD and told me to search for the frames I wanted. No apology, nothing. She, too, talked to me very rudely and impatiently. SHe would not even let me say anything without abruptly and rudely interrupting and dismissing whatever I had to say. And I am a pretty polite person. She did not even say goodbye! I ended up leaving the other frames I had chosen and walking out! I will never return here again. These women have some serious personality issues. If there was a negative option, I would rate them negative stars.

Pack lunch and dinner because the wait is extremely long. Staff that should be out assisting customers spend lots of time in the lab talking with there arms folded.

It was a pleasure to engage with the staff in the doctor’s office as well as the sales personnel in the store. They were all very nice, professional and knowledgeable. They went the extra mile for me and I appreciate it. I would definitely deal with them in the future and would recommend their products and services to anyone. Additionally, the physical environment was very clean and organized and the staff appeared to follow proper safety protocols in this time of the pandemic.
