Oh man. Where to begin. What started as needing a new pair of cargo shorts has turned into AN ENTIRE CLOSET of 5.11 gear. It wears so nice, and it’s always comfortable. I’ve put my shorts through the ringer and they still look brand new. I won’t wear anything else anymore because it all pales in comparison.

Ive used 5.11 Tactical gear since 2006. I like their pants, clothing, and bags but have never had good luck with their shoes. This review gets two stars for customer service and experience with this particularly store.I made an online purchase to take advantage of a labor day sale but decided to return the item. I checked the 5.11 website and it showed the store was open until 8 PM. I arrived shortly after 6 PM To find the doors locked and the new hours posted on the door. I ventured back to the store the following day. The female employee was short and rude from the start. I was informed I could not make the return in store because I used PayPal online. I had to make a phone call to customer service from the parking lot while staring at the physical store. Come to find out on 5.11s website, they CAN take a PayPal return with the balance on a gift card.Very frustrating experience and it does not make me want to visit this location in the future.

They had what I was looking for and helpful staff. Well lit and clean store that is following covid-19 guidelines.

Great quality in items, a bit on the higher end but is worth it. My BF shops here for multiple things, lasts for years

A designer fashion store for rich folks who want to look tactical

Never doing business with these guys again. Waited months for the Hard Times 2 glove to go on sale and when they finally did and I finally got them weeks later, the L was much too small. Tried to exchange them, terrible customer service. They wouldnt send me an XL so ended up just refunding me after waiting another MONTH. What a hassle. Save money and time and buy from another company on Amazon.

I ordered a bunnie hat and it came in good order. Very expediently. It was the wrong size(my fault) and was having trouble returning it. Couldnt seem to get the email right. Again my fault. Army vet and hard of hearing. Suddenly I received a return label in the mail in a hand written addressed envelope. Think I will shop here again? You bet.Thanks 5.11 tactical. Phil Jones

Waited almost 2 weeks for tracking number. Spent over 1 hour on hold with customer service. No return call from warehouse, no return call from customer service. Decided to cancel order. 5.11 refuses to cancel my order because its too far in its process but still doesnt have a tracking number. These guys have no business running a consumer direct business. You want to be a wholesaler go ahead but until you can figure out how to timely process an order and train you CS staff maybe you should leave it to the pros#wecanoutfityournextmissionbutcantshipabackpack

Got what I needed here, friendly helpful staff

I went to the store in Tualatin Oregon. The lady who greeted me was not very polite and the person who came a long with me told me afterwards that she was rude to her as well. (I get it people have off days...) The store has some great quality items. (Not so much the shoes ) The EMS pants are pretty good, But because I am a female they hardly had anything I could chose from. I ended up having to make a random guess and buy online because they did not have pants with a single thing I needed: the right type, color or even size I need. I probably will only buy online again in the future as it did not seem worth over an hour drive for me.

The products are really 3*-, odd design choices (pockets too small for my wifes hands in mens cargo shorts?🙄). But staff was great and store was clean. Nice knife selection.

Great merchandise, Top Quality and very knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend them. The merchandise isnt cheap, but what youre paying for is American made quality products.

Great place to pick up sturdy clothing, boots and other gear. All of the stuff I have gotten here has lasted for years and is still going strong. I would highly recommend everything in the store. They have regular sales which are a great way to save. The prices are higher but the quality is totally worth it and the longevity will mean this stuff will outlast cheaper brands by a long shot.

Another store that advertised items that they DO NOT stock. Thank you for also wasting my time.

Theyve got everything 5.11 here save a few select products. Those they can typically order in for you. The staff are all huge fans of the products theyre selling which makes them pretty knowledgeable about features too

This store is fantastic! The employees were so kind and helpful! I am a heavy set woman and usually feel uncomfortable going into these kind of stores, however, the guys made me feel so good and informed of which pants will be the best for my career! The clothing is high quality and fairly priced. Highly recommend! The store is very clean and organized. Will definitely be a repeat customer!

Love 5.11 Tactical!! The staff are super helpful. The clothes are very durable. Cant beat the Labor Day sale at 60% off. The pants are a must have for my active teenage boys.

Ordered an item they didnt have in stock (wrong color) securing a holiday discount(20%), item arrived a few weeks later, I went in a decided that it not going to suit my needs, and realized another item would, I asked to order this item (again...not in stock) and to carry over the discount I had secured previously as it the deal would have been comparable, they declined. I returned all other items i purchased there.... will not shop there again.

This store has some really cool gear; I love the pant selection the most. The Ridgeline and Apex pants are my favorite so far - I have 6 pairs total. They also have a great variety of backpacks (I got 2), survival gear, hiking gear, and first responder gear. Prices are fair for the quality. I go here a few times a year and highly recommend supporting this place.

First time in a 5.11 location and the customer service was awesome! I was in for my husband who is a law enforcement officer and I was completely clueless as to what to buy him or if the store had what he wanted. Although they did not end up having the holster needed, the sales associate was very personable and helpful regarding information about purchases online and about stuff in store. He even went to make sure the company did not carry the holster by checking the computers. I can definitely understand why my husband likes this brand for his work gear - good quality materials and good quality customer service and experience!

Best store ever. Great professional sales people that ask questions and get you exactly what you like. Their recommendation was spot on. I will be going back for much more.

Went in and was absolutely overwhelmed with the options I had before me. Staff immediately introduced themselves and gave me a rundown of what they had available. I explained what I was looking for and I was directed to the perfect pants. I couldnt have been happier with my experience at this location. Will absolutely recommend and will absolutely be returning.

The Worst!!! They sent my order to the wrong address twice! Then they tried to refund my money twice and messed up both times! 2 months later I’m still waiting on a refund. Never again will I buy anything from this company! Management is terrible! I wish I could put the whole email thread on here.

I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask. I was denied entry to the store when it was empty because I am not able to wear a mask. I will not be shopping at a store that chooses to not follow ADA guidelines.

Employees werent too interested in helping me, but something interesting to take away here is that 5.11 doesnt have a military discount, which i thought was hilarious.

511tactical this store in Tualatin your staff is awesome stores clean organized and for the most part has what is needed so that most civil service people can get back out and do their job. I had come up especially for the Presidents Day sale and found that there is a lot more gear clothing then I ever thought it was for 5:11. Thanks to everyone that was there to help me, my wife is even impressed that I was in and back out of the store within 10 minutes however she was not aware that I had already ordered the pants and tried on the other pair LOL.

Love the brand. Don’t love the back and forth “turf” war between 5.11 and Gall’s (another 5.11 distributor up the road from these guys). Gall’s is my go-to for all my 5.11 uniform needs and the 5.11 store is where I go for the “civilian” line but apparently they aren’t offering any kind of price match or discount for first responders because of some beef with Gall’s. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I called about finding TDU pants with a long inseam and skinny waist. As people with similar sizes know, finding clothes for a tall, non-obese body can be difficult (looking at you, Casual Male XL lol).Matt answered my call, was very friendly and knew his products. I couldnt actually remember what the pants were called, but Matt knew, and they even had two pairs in stock! When I arrived at the store, the atmosphere was open and inviting, with the rest of the staff being just as up to snuff as Matt.Ill be spending more money here in the future.

Wow- won’t be shopping here again. I was an outstanding customer and spoke highly of 511 until just today when I tried returning some gloves that were coming apart at the seams due to a manufacturing defect. But was turned away and treated rudely. Guess they don’t appreciate repeat business!

Went in to attempt to exchange a 9 month old pair of boots that had warped leather. Employee tried to insinuate that it was my fault for polishing them & offered a 20% discount on a new pair. Called customer service who, with no hesitation, agreed to exchange them. Skip the store, shop online.

Horrific customer service!!!! Ordered pants in store on their recommendations and 3 weeks later, still no pants. Called 3 times and was given 3 different answers. Never received calls back when they said they would call with info. Shop online and stay away IMO. I will never return to this store.
