I really appreciated getting greeted right when I walked in. I had just gone to a different store and was very disappointed in the customer service. As a person who is in customer service I really appreciated the smile and enthusiasm. I was able to just come in get what I wanted and check out. I was also given some really nice socks to look at and I am very pleased with them. Thanks so much for making me feel important.

Lindsey gave me an awesome shoe fitting experience this afternoon!After running 8 miles in the Adidas Ultra Boost (which I got from Adidas discount store a week ago) my toes started to blister and I was ready to take them off during my 10 miles runs. I decided to finally get my feet measured and Lindsey did a great job. She was prompt, led me through the different machines, and picked out a great selection of foot ware. She was also personable and someone quickly I knew wanted the best for me. I came in wanting what was going to be best for my feet and didnt feel like she was trying to get over in any way which made me feel comfortable.Found out Im a 10.5D and 10.5E...Ive always worn narrow shoes growing up and just had uncomfortable shoes. No more. The shoes she picked out feel comfortable and I cant wait to get my first run in them. With the membership plan I can also bring them back if they dont work out and find a different pair. That definitely gives me peace of mind.Side note, I was able to go into their fitting room and try on sports bras. Just coming out of COVID, this was a relief because ever store hasnt had their clothing rooms open. It just made my experience at Road Runner that much more enjoyable.Thanks Lindsey!

I have been using Roadrunner for years and they have never disappointed me. I went into the store a few weeks back and they were swamped. Even though they were so busy, they were able to try to help me order the shoes I wanted online as they did not have the color I wanted. When I purchased my first pair years ago I became a VIP member. This was the first time I’ve used the 90 day guarantee and what an amazing service. I had decided to try a different style this time, not sure why, but after wearing them for two weeks I notice my feet were hurting more. Yesterday I went back into the store to return them. As soon as we walked In the door we were greeted! Mo was so helpful and patient as I tried on several pairs. He was able to assist me with all of my questions and concerns. The return was easy and quick. I did have to pay the difference in price but such a great experience. Nowadays I feel customer service has gone down hill, Not at Roadrunner.

So far, I love the shoes. The sales person who assisted me was very knowledgeable, listened to what I wanted in a shoe, brought out selections according to my wishes, offered great advise and was all-around the perfect person to help me get what I needed/wanted.

Road Runner Sports is a great store to go to if you’re looking for properly fitted running shoes. They evaluate your running on a treadmill to find out what kind of support you’ll need, then evaluate your foot digitally to help choose a shoe or even get custom inserts in case your feet aren’t the same as each other (as is my case). Liz helped me and was very thorough - she was also very patient as I tried on several pairs, ran on the treadmill briefly in each and even mixed & matched to find the right pair. They offer a loyalty program that allows you to return your running shoes within a 90-day period in case they weren’t a good fit after all and they’ll get you into a pair that works better. I would recommend this store for running gear.

The employees here are always super friendly and helpful. This is the second time I went in this year, and the employee who helped me last time (almost four months ago) recognized me and went out of her way to catch up with me and see how everything was going. I’ve always loved the quality of products and the employees. I’ve only ever had positive experiences at road runner.

Good shoe selection, super pushy selling tactics that add a ton of time to your visit. While I like the selection of shoes, I will not go back because of how uncomfortable the experience was. Good stores use good customer service to improve the customer experience, this place puts on a pretense of customer service that’s really just meant to sell you more.Edit: I don’t think the sales associate did anything they weren’t supposed to, the issue is with the business model. When you walk in they record you walking/jogging, which is like a good running shoe store, but then they try to sell you special socks, super expensive insoles that they custom mold to your feet whether you want them to or not,… really just a whole suite of goods that are not just the shoes. That’s the way the business is setup. The sales associates basically walk you through the store’s process.

Great running shoe selection at a good price. Best part of shopping there is the sales representatives are also runners that are well informed on their product selection. And I really like the 90 day return policy.

Second in-store visit (Tuesday, September 21st) and it did not disappoint!!! Store is inviting! Clean, neat and well organized; everyone appears to enjoy their job, they’re engaging with their customers and seem genuinely interested!I was there (almost by accident) I had wanted to check out the HOKAs…so in I went. Roberto greeted me and indicated where they were on the wall. As soon as he finished with his customer, he started helping me; with great patience, he worked through my numerous questions and choices. He was attentive and pleasant, while I did not end up buying a pair of HOKAs, I left with the perfect shoe for me! Now I just need to continue my enthusiasm and hit the walking path!!

Everyone is so helpful and listen carefully to what you actually need. Not to sell something that isn’t useful. Best part you get to try many brands!

I had purchased a pair of trail shoes that I had big expectations for. After a couple work outs the fit was not working. Being a VIP member it was no problem returning the shoes. The staff was understanding and helped me find a replacement. Five stars all the way.

Johnathan was very helpful and detailed at what I needed for shoes that would work well for everyday walking, exercising and need for arch support. I looked everywhere for good shoes that would work and did not have any luck. The shoes I had would hurt my feet. Not anymore.I would highly recommend going there for the shoes even if you have to pay a little extra.. its investing in your health for long term. Hi, I’m Ana’s Husband my name is Michel, I discovered Roadrunners sports 3 weeks ago and we bought 4 pairs the different running shoes.Portland store I talked with the manager the best manager in Portland his name is Nicu, he made an excellent business for me, the store has amazing atmosphere and you can find what you need. I went in Tualatin store and Justin Macmillan solved my case with patience and attention. Great store, great workers and you feel comfortable to ask all question and try a lot of brand shoes. Very friendly and helpful! Didn’t realize they closed at 5 and arrived 15 minutes before closing. They never rushed us, they let us take as much time as needed for my husband to find the right shoe. Fantastic experience!

Excellent shoe fitting expertise, customer service, and shoe selection! Randomly popped into this place on my way to another shop in the same shopping center. They video taped my feet and legs while running, took a 3D scan of my feet, made me custom shoe inserts (I have high arches) and helped me find exactly the shoe I needed. It took maybe 20 minutes because I was in a hurry. I came back with my teen who has very narrow feet and pronates, and they were so patient helping them find the right shoe. It took about an hour of trying different options. I never sign up to be a member anywhere, but signed up here and got discounts Im very happy with. They also have a 90 day return policy for members, which eases my stress purchasing high quality shoes. So grateful to have stumbled upon this place!

It was extremely busy when I walked in, but I was greeted and told they would be with me shortly. Fortunately, i knew what I wanted and needed and was able to streamline the process. I love the new(at least to me) 3D imaging of my insoles, will definitely give this a try on the next order! Be patient, they are giving everyone the same care you expect.

This store is a routine for all of my running needs. There are a few oddities I have to go on line for but they have the best overall selection of running merchandise of any running store in oregon.

Went for the clearance sale. I got fitted. Walking with 2 pairs of running shoes, insoles, and joined the vip program. all staff were great. They make the effort to greet everyone as they walk in the door. Axia was very nice and helpful

Very good experience coming in here. I was searching all around the area for a good pair of everyday shoes when I came across Road Runner. I was greeted kindly coming in and was shown exactly what I was looking for and was given some great advice on what type of shoes would be best for me. The gentleman helping me told me I should be getting stability shoes and Im so glad he did. Ive been using my new pair I bought there everyday and my body has been thanking me already for making the switch.Will definitely be returning. I had the best experience with Lindsey this weekend!! I came in looking for a specific type of running shoe. She was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of choices to choose from. I also loved the fact that she took the time to get to know me, which made my experience that much greater. The company is lucky to have employees like Lindsey that give awesome customer service!

Tualatin OR staff were friendly and helpful. A very good selection of running shoe options. Check out the membership program. With my purchase of two pairs of shoes I saved $30, received another $15 in my cash benefits account... and membership was on $19.99. Wish I would have introduced myself years ago. I was referred by a friend who has had great experiences with Road Runner. Immediately I was greeted by Ava, who was a rockstar! The entire process was explained to me in detail, and it was very low pressure. I could feel such relief even after my first run with the insoles and recommended shoes. All the staff were knowledgeable, polite, and fun to chat with. I would rate six stars if I could.

Amazon place. John helped me find a fit with my foot for a shoe that form fits me perfectly. I even got to see the 3D model of my foot and see my gait while I walked and some of the concerns that may arise. He explained everything in detail and gave me the reasoning for the specific shoe size recommended to me.

I’ve had this plantar fasciitis problem for over a year. Tried everything that my doctor recommended from aircast boot to night splints and foot exercises. I’ve tried over the counter Dr. Scholls products - nada! Nothing worked. My boyfriend recommended this place. I went in, a staff member name CK helped me, I felt like she understood where I was going through… went through 3D foot process, treadmill and got a mold of customized insoles. Long story short… I left the store with customized insoles and Brooks Levitate running shoes. It has been 2 months now… I went and both another second pair of insoles for my other running shoes. The insoles has worked wonders! The first week, plantar fasciitis pain was 30% there then the next week it was completely gone! These insoles has cured my plantar fasciitis- I’m soooo happy that I get to exercise/cardio again!!! This is my new shoe place❣️

My daughter and I needed new shoes for our Sole Sisters walking (training for a 5k together!) and we went to Road Runner. They were wonderful! They took their time getting to know us and our needs and fit us with great shoes. I can’t wait to go back and get some sandals for myself for this summer :)

I wanted to treat my daughter to a new pair of running shoes before she headed off back to Syracuse for her final year of law school. I purchase my running shoes at the Tualatin Nyberg Woods RoadRunner location so that is where we went. Upon our entering the store we were greeted by a friendly, welcoming associate, Mo. After he learned my daughter was looking for running shoes, Mo videoed my daughter’s foot strikes on their treadmill and then he did a full digital measurement (length, width and arch) of her feet. He then pulled four or five different pairs of shoes that met her unique requirements. Mo checked the fit of all of the pairs of shoes and then he pulled three or four more pairs for her to try. He listened to her comments about the shoes and was extremely attentive & responsive to her feedback. In the end, we purchased a pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19’s and a custom fitted pair of maximum cushioned insoles. What a great experience!

Roberto gave us amazing customer service. He made sure we were 100% pleased with our choices and even made a suggestion that saved us money with better results than our original idea. This is not our first visit. Every time we enter the store we are greeted and have our questions answered. OMG. Courtney rocked it. I have horrible feet and was nervous about ‘one more shoe place’ lying to me.I was at Meridian Park Hospital for a appointment and was headed to Newbalance but decide to give RoadRunner store a try. WHAT a great experience. Courtney first did the feet measure thing. Lol so I’m not an expert. She told me what I already knew. One leg was shorter than the other. I told her I had custom inserts, I loved to walk on logging roads snd the beach. She picked 5 shoes ‘cross Trek’ she had me try on one pair, HOKA. Loved it. Then she had me try all the other pairs different brands using my insert from the shorter leg to see what I thought. When I loved a pair she had me walk with both. I left with 2 different shoes and socks. Talk about customer comes first and she knows her job! Went home and invited my kids and there friends to go back ... my treat ! This store snd Courtney rocks.

I always have a good experience at Roadrunner. But Nikkia went the extra mile. She sure knows her shoes and the difference between a GTS 18, 19, and 21. I needed a medial post on my shoe. She brought out newer Brooks brands I had never heard of. She also made shoe buying a fun experience. Down to earth, genuine, a real asset to the company!

I bought a pair of Hokas today, and it was my first time in the store. The staff member mentioned the VIP program multplie times while I tried them on, and I declined signing up each time. Upon check out, he began taking all my info, which I thought was really strange, but figured it was part of the checkout process. Right when he told me the total, and I placed my card in the slot, he immediately pulled out the VIP chart and brought up the program again. I then realized that is why he was getting all my info -to set up an account so I could join the VIP program. I declined again for like the 5th time. I actually went to the NW location after because there was an issue with the sole of the shoe, and the staff member there was very kind and helped me exchange it, but also brought the VIP program up multiple times. Just beware because they will sell you HARD on that. Hope they didnt save any of my info, and I will definitely follow up with their Customer Service if I find out otherwise, as others here have stated here.

This place is incredibly awesome. They will scan your feet, observe how you walk, and help find the right shoe for you. Axia was awesome, they all were very professional, genuine, and courteous. I even bought my wife a pair of shoes, and she loved them. Very comfy and stylish. Keep in mind they are pricier but you really do get what you pay for. We will continue to give them our business. Wont go anywhere else for shoes as long as they are open! =)

I’ve always had issues with my running or cross training shoes wearing out too quickly and causing ankle, shin and knee pain. That, and the type of shoe I bought would tear easily. You’re going to spend $150-200 here without too much trouble, but you will walk out with a better solution for shoes to maximize their longevity and keep your feet healthy.Even the Oofos flip flops I bought were a dramatic upgrade over my status quo, and I feel like I can wear them all day if necessary without my feet HATING life at bedtime. Add in the fact their member program and website make return shopping a breeze and saves me a few bucks. No remeasuring, and it’s easy to find the same or similar shoes.

Good selection, however I have never had a great customer service experience. The first time I went to the store was to buy some new trail running shoes. I have a particular brand and sole type that I use. When I asked to see their selection I was told, pretty condescendingly, that We do the carry those because they are bad for your feet and that company will probably go through a lawsuit. No alternatives were offered. I found the shoes on their website that day and then over to REI to purchase them. My wife went in a couple of months later for some new socks and insoles. She left without purchasing because she felt that she was being aggressively upsold and felt pressured. Great selection, bad customer service in my experience.

My friend and I made a trip here on Saturday to get ourselves some new shoes.It was her first time and she loved it. She averages 40-50 miles / week and was in a bad need for an upgrade. John did an amazing job balancing the two of us, ensuring both our needs were met, made the transaction feel incredibly personal, and got us exactly what we needed. My friend did the whole exam - personal insoles, a gait / foot analysis from the treadmill, and tried various shoes recommended from her analysis. John was so patient with us as we tried shoe after shoe. He found the absolute perfect pair for her and never tried to suggest something just as an upsell. He made sure her shoes were exactly what she needed.Ive been a VIP member for awhile and didnt need to do the whole process again. I got a new set of personalized insoles and some new socks. (Yay running socks!) John also was able to recommend the best way to use my VIP membership to save us both SO much money.I always return to Road Runners because of employees like John and I will continue to return!

I would like to give a higher rating but was disappointed with the UP-SELLING of additional products and wanting a fee to join their VIP club.There was no mention of optional inserts as I was being measured and my walk analyzed. The next thing I know a custom pair was already made for me. The salesman inserted them into the shoe before I even tried the shoe on, so I had no idea what the shoe felt like without them. The next thing I knew there were packages of socks on the bench beside me and the conversation started about how I might be needing new socks. Next, checkout, and the pitch about the VIP club, (many stores that is free). I did buy new shoes and I am happy with them. No inserts ($74), socks, or VIP membership($20). The sales approach used is very off putting, I know that I can get the same shoe at many other stores so dont think I will be back for another pitch.

It was close to closing time, and they did not skip a step in helping me to find the right shoes for me. A recent pair of running shoes from somewhere else, had been hurting me and I couldn’t imagine going for a run the next day in them. They checked my gait and my stance and stayed 15 minutes late, and I can’t to take the new shoes for a spin, today!
