Curbside pickup operations: I waited 30 minutes before having to walk into the store to ask for my order. 15 mins in, I called the store and asked for an update regarding my order. I received a response explaining they would do their best to get on top of it. I waited another 15 mins and decided I would go inside to inquire about the situation. I promptly received my order after I had to make a physical appearance inside the store.Why would Michaels provide a service that is unable to meet the standards that they advertise? I received notification that my order was ready for pickup and I used the website to notify them that I was on my way, to include when I arrived and when I was waiting at pickup spot 1.The competency of this service is questionable and I would advise customers to avoid this service if this is the consistent level of service they provide. I hope that this review can encourage managers at Michaels to find ways to improve this operation, because based on this experience, I believe it requires improvement to be considered a useful service.

As I walked in I noticed that the entire store has every Karen and Karen in training shopping around the store while they talk about how theyre gonna do Karen things to some poor manager. Every aisle is full of them old, young, big, small, every type of Karen you could ever imagine and they all have one thing In common. Crafts. Michaels has all that. Even the hard to find stuff that attracts Karens. I regret walking into a den if Karens but my daughters school project is gonna look awesome 😎.

All your crafting supplies and more are here, including fabric, picture frames, beading, painting, yarn stuff, and some light wood working. This Michaels is clean and comfortable. Never had an issue with the staff either.

Store is always clean and organized. Staff are always knowledgeable about all craft projects I have ever asked about. Check your emails for additional coupons for extra savings.

Great service by a Clerk who realized I wasnt finding what I was looking for and dropped what she was doing without being asked to help me. Havent encountered that in a long time!

Had what I was looking for. Staff was ready to help. They have decorations now, like BobbyBlobby, which I didnt think they had prior. Cute stuff

I just got off of the phone with a team member at the Broadway Michaels location and the lack of customer services was absolutely astounding. I requested assistance in getting the correct receipts for online orders, and the only answer I got was we have the same information you do maam. The receipt they claim to have given me does not list the total amount purchased, only the cost for the individual items I purchased.Now, some reading this may wonder why this is such a big deal, and as I explained to the associate, it is because this is a corporate credit card, which means I need detailed receipts.It makes zero sense that in store shopping provides a detailed receipt including total purchases, but when you order online to pick up in store it is a completely different process.The last straw for me was the comment well you can call the corporate line for more help, which led me to spending 20 minutes on hold, and counting.Poor customer service and poor business management.

Love this place!! prices can be high, but its decent if you have the 25% off coupon ready to go. i always wait for what i want and shop the frequent sales. staff are always helpful and kind, and there is plenty to choose from.

Its a craft store, not much you cant find. But sometimes a bit pricier than most places. They DO try to have awesome sales and coupons weekly that helps.The framing department does outstanding work! The photo attached is their work.Staff is sometimes hard to find; but always eager to help.

Great experience! Employees visible and helpful when I couldnt find an item. Check Line long but moved very quickly. Cashier went out of her way to answer questions and was very personable. This location needs more employees. Everytime I go in its nearly impossible to find someone to help you.. The inventory is depleted for a lot of things, selection is very limited..

I like Michaels for its convenience. It is my go to place for arts and crafts commodities. Although, the store can be messy at times or have somewhat gaps in shelf stock. It is closer than Hobby Lobby so for that reason I mostly go to it for my needs.

They had very little acrylic paint to select from. I had to get different brands to get 3 colors I needed. I still left, needing 2 colors. The cashier was very pleasant, even after I complained.

I had walked in so fast not even realizing what time they had closed, the manager had came up to me and kindly stated that they were closed and I ask what time it was and he said it was 8:06 and they closed at 8. As I explained my situation and what I needed because my son wanted to start drawing again, the manager then nodded his head and he quickly showed me exactly where the pencils andDrawing pads were at and even took the time to explain everything. When I had gotten home my son was so excited he decided to clean his whole room.As he walked proudly with his head up into school the very next day I could definitely see a change in him. Thank you Michaels and I really do appreciate it because I think you guys really have helped me bring out the best in him.

Just left Michaels on Broadway and Kolb, where I picked up 2 Studio Decor frames that were on sale Buy One Get One Free At 19.99 a piece. Went to the register and they were rung up for a total of 40.00 some dollars. I said these were supposed to be Buy One Get One Free. The young girl that rang us up said Uhhhhhh....just a second... and looked at us like she was performing brain surgery for the first time. She then called the frame department on her headset, and asked about the frames we had picked out. My girlfriend offered to go and take a picture of the sale sign. She told us that the Studio Decor frames we picked out werent on sale. I told her to keep them and left. When I got home, I checked the ad, and All Studio Decor frames are on sale Buy One Get One Free.So remember, when youre at the Broadway and Kolb Michaels location, just because something is on sale Buy One Get One Free that doesnt mean that you can Buy One Get One Free.Also, if something is on sale, take a picture of the sign and maybe get it notorized, because the people at the registers and from whatever department that they are in, have NO CLUE whats going on.

Its a craft store. It usually has exactly what I want. Sometimes aittle pricier than Id like, but if I need an item same day, they have it. Lines usually arent too long and the staff are friendly.

Great service! I had searched for an item at another Michaels store across town and in person at this store. I tried to order it online, but it was unavailable. I called this Michaels and spoke with Maria and she directed me to Steve, the store manager. He located the item for me and had it waiting for me at one of the front registers! I was very happy with the service!

I go here mainly for cake decorating and cake pop supplies. They occasionally have a unique baking pan for purchase and always chocolate melts at a great price!

The store is clean. Went in for a framing and Karen was quick and knowledgeable.

My wife and I shop here 4 Seasons a year! We are from New Jersey and miss seeing the changes,( the desert can be a bit boring!)So we buy artificial Autumn wreaths/leaves of red,orange and yellow to wrap around our windows and doors, pumpkins, etc. for the fall! Winter snowmen, Santas, garlands of green pine boughs, etc .Spring and Summer fake flowers to plant in our garden around the patio(they dont require much water! LOL) which helps us enjoy the holidays and get in the mood for each festive time of the year! The quality, variety and sale prices are GREAT! We highly recommend MICHAELS -shopping for the last 24 years,so you will be glad you did too!

Usually a place I like gets more stars, but I was very disappointed in their stock. The Happy Planner section was sad looking, not usually like this. They didnt have much to choose from and now I have to head to Hobby Lobby to see if they have anything. This one location is sad when it comes to inventory.

Sadly the selection of leather working tools and supplies is very limited. There was at one time anyway, a much better selection. Its sad to see that one of my favorite craft stores is fading into obscurity for me.

I love it they have all the stuff that I need I didnt have to go to Jo-Anns and I had to go somewhere else and get my items that I needed for my project

Michaels is that place where you know they have the staples of crafting, and have at least a half hour to kill. Good selection, but they are highly reliant on the do you have your 20% off (opt in) coupon? (On a single item, with massive exclusions) and everything is marked up based on that. If you buy more than three things, you havent saved a dime. Expect a slow checkout experience at busy times. (Because every single person in front of you, hasnt screenshotted that coupon)
