Such a cute, fun, calm little hideout. They have tamales, chips and salsa, cider, and beer. There are games to play at the tables and to can purchase drinks to go. The staff was very friendly.
This is my wife and I s favorite place to go in town. Dog friendly, great beer, great service and family owned. What more could you ask for!
Tucked back in the corner its an all time favorite place for me to visit! Good beer local good beer and there is usually an accompanied food truck or local food available too!
I’m updating my review based on the business owners response to the neighbors signs which do not belong to them. We drove from San Tan Valley to visit this brewery based on a few of their beers I’ve tried. I really enjoyed them and look forward to going back to try more sometime. Maybe you can put a sign up that points to it and says “this is not our sign.” I wish it was clear from the outside of the building.
Never been let down here. Definitely a solid place to go for a beer.
We sampled several of the beers on tap and they were all excellent. I enjoyed the chili beer especially. My husband prefer sours and all 4 he had were great. We even mixed the Lemon Merengue with The Raspberry sour and it was very tasty. We both enjoyed the Donut Bar brew, imagine a liquid glazed donut without the fat from the fryer. What a concept! We also renewed our tankards for another year, so we will be there again! The relaxed atmosphere is warm and inviting.
Awesome selection of beers and Linden was an wonderful beer tender! So knowledgeable and fun. We will be back often.
Funny drink names. Fruity beer flights and a good atmosphere. Cable tv would be an added bonus.
We did the taco Tuesday pairing with a flight of the recommended beers. The tacos were average at best but thats a food truck issue. Theyd probably be better if the food truck put some new greese in the deep fryer and some spice in the tacos. The flight consisted of Ta Wena, Improvise, Baja Goose and Saison with no name. The TE Wena and Saison were pretty good but none of the 4 were good enough to get us to stayed for a pint.
Great service, good atmosphere, and the happy hr for half price beer is back during weekdays
Had their Irish stout. Its ok. A little too carbonated. Average compare to other beers. Good services. Dog friendly.
This little place is incredible. So comfy feelings
This is one of my favourite breweries in Tucson. The owner is a military veteran and offers a discount to veterans and retirees. They have a wide selection of brews that will appeal to most anybody. Initially when I started going here I was not a fan of sours but they converted me with their Naughty Naranja @ 12%.The owner Allen is very friendly and has even given me a tour of his facility. It was very enlightening to see the process from start to finish. One thing that is pretty cool is you can buy a drink and pay it forward for a military member. You can purchase your own copper tankard mug to use when you are there that will earn you discount on your drinks.Within the last month they have made an outdoor patio seating area. This is good because they are enforcing social distance rules and this is a great time to be outside to enjoy the weather. If you are a craft brew enthusiasts and enjoy sour beers this is definitely the place to go.They are gaining popularity state wide because I have seen some of their signature brews in Phoenix, Flagstaff, and Sedona establishments.
Great beer selection- I enjoyed every one in my flight. Lots of space and great dark atmosphere. Yum!
Great sours, great meads, and a delicious food truck. 11/10 service
Great selection of IPAs and sours... Also a sour IPA that while it is what it says, is still surprising. The bartender (I wish I would have gotten his name) was helpful and friendly.
This is a really fun place. It is owned by a Vet and I am a Vet so we are already on the same page. The people that go there are happy fun loving people and the bartenders are really friendly. If you ask them they will take you on a tour and explain how the beer is made. There is something about this atmosphere at 1912 that causes people to get along really well with each other.
Love this place! Great beer and excellent service. Try the Teddy Gosevelt!
Autstanding. Loved this place. Great beers 🍻
A local favorite! Always fun and changing
I went there on a Friday Night and they were busy!. Only two bar tenders were on shift and they truly did an amazing job at taking care of ever customer in a timely manner. As soon as I needed something they took care of it within a couple minutes. The beer is great and they have very good variety of selections. Its very enjoyable environment and the staff has perfect knowledge of what they are serving. I Love this Place !
Tried four gose/sours, a saison, and a pale ale. Three of the sours and the saison were extraordinarily great. The other sour was quite nice. The pale did not please me at all.Service was friendly and outgoing.Business neighbors were weird.
These guys really know what they are doing. The stout and the red are great. Try Chestys if its in stock, it is excellent!
Amazing sours! So many options to choose from, seriously a wonderful place!
It was over the top. The people were so helpful and bent over backwards to help in any way they could with a smile in their voice and on the face. Thank you for a wonderful night.
Wonderful place to hang out with friends. Owner and staff are awesome. So many choices . . . Delicious!
I grew up in the first microbrew boom in the early 90s, in Washington State. I know a quality beer when I try them, 1912 knows how to brew and present good beer. Stopped by and tried 4 samples; each was distinct, finished well, and was well described on their web site. I would bring a friend here to have a beer - not the case for every brewery I try. Cool tasting room as well.
The beers good, service is great. The owners kept the bar open past their regular hours just for us when they heard it was our friends birthday. Its definitely one of our go to breweries.
Great brewery with awesome local Sours and Goses. Highly recommend for those passing through Tucson and want to sample the local brewery scene
Great brewery. We are honored to come here. Thank you for everything.
Easily one of my favorite breweries in Tucson! Excellent service and wonderfully varied selection (there is something there for everyone) 🤩
Great service and good beer
A very nice, local brewery! Great selection of flavorful beers and a friendly staff!
This was our first brewery weve personally been to in Tucson. I made the drive down from Gilbert and this place was pretty cool! Our bartender Linden was great! The beer there was awesome! Owned & Operated by a Veteran family so I was a huge fan of that. Its a really cool spot and Ill definitely be back!
1912 makes some really good gose and sour beers, however IPAs, ambers or stouts are average at best and little overpriced (~$4 for 6oz pour). If you are into IPAs go to Puebla Vida or Tombstone. They also sell great meads - Marion Mead is delicious.
Another great visit, excellent selection and service. Looking forward to our next visit when we ate in town.
Multiple flavors of tasty beers.
1912 has made our list as one of our go to places. My favorite of their small batch craft brewes is the Blueberry Pie. If you enjoy sour beers, you will not be disappointed with this incredibly complex and delicious libation!! The owners have modified the seating area to accommodate more patrons and were extremely accommodating, supporting a rather large retirement party for me. I highly recommend!!
I served in the Marines with the owner, both stateside and abroad. He is an outstanding Marine, and now an excellent and extremely hardworking craftsman. A family run brewery with some of the best beertender staff you could ask for. The brews are plentiful and cater to all palates. Two of my personal favorites are Ta Weno and Weapons Check. Alan, Alicia, and their team are creative in their craft approach and design, complimented by some tasty food on the menu. The venue is cozy and relaxed with constant deals and events going on throughout each week. Conveniently located near the I-10. Easily 5 stars!
Laid back atmosphere, knowledgeable bartenders, and a unique selection of really good beers!
Great beer, friendly staff! Place is relaxing.
Nice place. Nice selections of brews. Tried the Socially Distant IPA. Good taste, a bit too hoppy for but enjoyed it.
I try to get out and taste all the beer in Arizona. As I was out getting the stuff to brew home brew I saw that 1912 had a brewery with easy in and out traffic and lots of parking. Naturally I pulled in to try it out.The store front is small but dont let it fool you, the little breweries can be the best. On my visit I discovered this beer could be the among the top beers I have had in the state of Arizona and possibly one of the best in Tucson. I would recommend 1912 to anyone looking for smooth, well crafted, and local beer. Thanks for the good experience 1912.Hooyah!
The brewery is veteran owned. Great atmosphere, has always treated us well, provides veteran discounts and the selection of beer is awesome! Come by to have a beer, you wont be disappointed.
I attended 1912s Rally Point Reunion yesterday and had a great time. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, met up with old friends and made new ones.Loved the craft beers, my favorite being Weapons Check. Looking forward to visiting them again.
Very diverse selection of beer. Bartenders are super friendly. Family friendly with lots of games.
Love this place, 5 min from my house
Daniela, and her chips and salsa, are awesome at this local brewery. The Russian Stout, Helluva Caucasian was excellent! The vibe in this place was fun with throw back Thursday as the musical theme for the evening. They have Jenga, Trouble and a few other things if you want to play a game. And they actually have hooks under the bar to hang a purse from!
Awesome brewery, worth the trip from the east side of Tucson!
1912 Brewing Company has quality beer. My favorites are the many Sour and Gose options that rotate through the tap. They frequently have beer and food pairing events. The ones I have been to are Bacon and Beer pairing and Tamale and Beer pairing. These events are always fun and offer an incentive to visit. In addition to the beer, they usually have tamales and homemade salsa for purchase. The staff is friendly and personable. Check it out!
So it is not often that a place loves up to the hype, but 1912 actually surpassed the high powered hype train that I have been (to my chagrin) putting off.It is amazing. Oh you like beer, they have you covered. Wine more your speed, sip on! Whats mead you ask? Have a glass of their peanut butter and jelly mead and relive your childhood one 13% gulp at a time.Yes, 1912 has it all! And on top of that, it is a proud Veteran run establishment, and I cant think of anything that would make it better, except going more often!
Everything is great about this place! A must visit!!!
Fun & Fabulous!!!! Highly recommend a visit to this gem of a place...staff is AWESOME....Beers are phenomenal & everything just works seamlessly.
Great little brewery, 20 beers on tap with the IPAs being stellar. A great assortment of tamales served with chips and good salsa available too. Friendly service and good atmosphere lends itself to a great experience
Great place. Great atmosphere and friendly, knowledgable staff. And most importantly of all for a brewery: Amazing Beer! If youre a beer drink its a must try spot in Tucson.
If your looking for a great beer look no more, 1912 is a veteran owned brewery that has amazing beer. You can also buy beer to go, they can their beer, sell growlers and kegs too.
We had a great evening in our first visit to 1912 Brewing. Staff was friendly and inviting. The beer was great ... the biggest challenge was picking from the huge selection. We are looking forward to the next visit when we are back in town!
Best local brewery! You’ll find the best variety of beers to satisfy all pallets of taste. The cherry on top is their customer service! Bryce tops the chart with his creative craft, knowledge and sociable customer service!!!!
I love this Brewery. Its got a homey feel & the staff is wonderful. Beers are delicious and so is the chips & salsa. My favorite place to have a beer!
Excellent locally brewed beer!
Really enjoyed trying the different beers at 1912 with a group of family & friends! The beers offered something to everyones liking. Good wine, too. Attentive, helpful staff and bright comfortable space. Add some more snack offerings for even greater enjoyment. Well be back!
This brewery is going places. Some of the best beer Ive had in Tucson. A great IPA, an even better double IPA, and my wife really enjoyed the Scotch Ale. In terms of beer and selection, I would rate this a five star. There are no food options, nor a food truck, and hence the lowering by one star. But, if all you are interested in is sampling a good variety of locally crafted beer, this is the place to visit in Tucson.
You cant ask for better product from a top notch staff! Primo beer from a primo veteran!
My my time there and I had a good time. They had a big section of beer there. If you are s beer drinker you must go there you wont be disappointed at all👍👍👍
We loved the Rhubarb Pie Gose and the new seltzer!
Fantastic selection of novel beets! Great sour beers too. Try the blood orange beer if they have it. The folks who run this place are very personable, was great to stop in and be welcomed as a friend.
Best brew house in town in my opinion. Love the constant variety with forward flavored beers. You wont get a weak bland beer here. If you have never had a Gose beer, this is the place to try your first.
Great dog friendly place to have a beer! The staff is very friendly and they make a wide variety of beers. Daniella’s Cooking is frequently there will delicious food and amazing salsa.
1912 is a veteran owned brewery. Their attention to detail in creating their selection of well balanced beer is very noticeable. They have a large selection of sour beers, as well as other well made beers. It is a place to visit for sure.
This Brewery offers a variety of great beer! The staff is amazing...always knowledgeable and great at pouring beer... Danielles food is amazing!
One of the best breweries in Tucson. Love this place.
Brit was an awesome bartender!!! She gave great service and bent over backwards to accommodate us. Another bartender came in around 4pm. She had blonde hair, but I didnt get her name. She was very rude and couldn’t be bothered with us. If we go back, it will be for Brit’s exceptional service!!!!!
Great place. The staff is awesome, very friendly and know their stuff. The atmosphere is comphy. And the beer is top notch! One of Tucsons gems.
Not bad, not great, but still better than some other breweries Ive tried in Tucson. They had a couple really good beers, too many that were ok but nothing special, then some that just werent worth the big bucks these craft brewery places charge, as if Im supposed to pay for their mistakes and pretend to enjoy a flat, dull or off tasting beer that obviously didnt turn out as hoped but still costs the same 6 bucks I could spend elsewhere on a better beer. Feels like they might be relying too much on brewers luck and charitable beer snobs. But, the Tucson economic culture needs all the help it can get so I hope they can get things dialed in a bit more and become a contender.
This place is really understated and quiet. I only wish you could get more samples of the brews. Im not asking that they be free. Aside from that, it was great.
Great place to get good beers, wide variety, and some nice mexican tamales... The staff was really nice and time flies by inside the tap room, you have to stop by...
Loved that they have a variety of games! Shuffleboard, board games, darts. Good selection of beers.
Great people, great food, a bar that you can take your kids to and not be judged, a bar that actually has stuff to entertain kids, a bar that does a super great polar Express reading by santa with a polar Express movie for the kids after. This place really has it all!
