Hop Shop has such a great vibe and the newly expanded outdoor area is HUGE and super beautiful. It’s a lovely spot, and I really appreciate that it’s dog friendly.

Really lovely place. Dog friendly, cyclist friendly, patio area with shade, a nice sculpture art garden outside, a good selection to please all types of drinkers, and decent parking for a popular bar. Food truck nearby. The bar tenders are very informative and clear. The music is also great imo. And most importantly the other patrons of this bar are friendly. (Ps. The upstairs is nice and it’s kind of fun to ring the bike bell from the upper counter..)TLDR GO HERE!!!! GOOD VIBES!!! Sorry I only have upstairs pics

I love this place! They always have a great selection of tap beers. If you cant find anything on tap you can always browse the coolers and pick something from that. SO many options to choose from. They have outdoor seating in the front and in the back. Dog friendly. And usually a food truck outside, but you can bring your own food too.The staff are always helpful and fun to talk to. Definitely a go-to spot for me!

I went there excited to go to another chill dog bar in Tuscan. The gent behind the bar told me that dog must be on a leash so a nice lady at the bar grabbed a leash from her truck for me. He told me to scan the QR code and my phone did not do that as, I told him it would not. He told me about the website instead of the paper menu directly behind my head, that he rudely told me about the next time. My dog was laying next to another table and i was told you had to hold the leash so I tied him to a table. Then i started playing with an awesome smart three year old at the adjacent table and we were walking the dog at the other tables. When I went to order a beer the day with glasses and a mask and medium brown hair told me to leave and to never come back. Worst dog-bar Ive ever been to across the country. Nice set up in a strip mall though.

I support local breweries so the only reason its not a 5 stars is because this is a beer shop not a local brewery. They so server local breweries beer on tap.

This place is low key and thats a good thing.If your looking for a fantastic craft selection and want to sit indoors/outdoors this place can do that. Beautiful botanical gardens on the patio and a great view of the Catalinas. And they have a bottle shop on site if you find something you like

Honestly, I used to love this place and the beer is great, but unfortunately they seem to have become less-than customer friendly. We were first told to sit out of the main seating area as they were full, which was fine until they were hesitant to add us to the wait list.. long story short, one of the bar tenders was more argumentative than inviting and lead me feeling uninvited.

Friendly service, nice atmosphere... Decent variety of beers from around the west and beyond. Back porch is comfy, too.

Bike friendly, an easy and safe distance from the Loop, and a good selection of drinks. They are taking Covid precautions in a strict but friendly and polite way, which is exactly how it should be. Happy to head here almost every ride.

They have a lot of options for tap and bottled beer. Cozy place and I love the vibe.

Nice patio to have a specail brew from their constantly changing rotation of micro brews on tap. Masks are required except when consuming, no food is available but there was a food truck outside that you could order from. They also have a couple of refrigerators full of micro brews in cans and bottles to choose from for consumption there or to go.

Safely distanced from other homosapiens, I sit peacefully and enjoy my Trippel imported from Pine Top. The staff are friendly, efficient and quick to sanitize everything! The selections of wine and beer are robust and varied! Come to the hop shop let it pull you in to its blissful bosom of bacchanalia!

Nice little gem here. Great place to explore new suds. Constantly rotating tap, never the same keg twice, and solid pick a 6 selection. Back patio feels like your hanging on your backyard, but better. Theres usually some food truck action, or you can BYOF. Huge selection of board games to get down on as well.Went there today and want to thank the staff for doing emergency surgery on my vintage growler. They went above and beyond to make sure my beer made it home safely.

Fantastic selection of ever-rotating beer and a decent bottle shop. My favorite things about this place are the garden and the loft seating area with couches. Some cool sculptures out front too. I also like that they usually have at least one barrel-aged sour on tap.

The hop shop is a great small to medium sized bar thats a great place to hang out. Its got plenty of craft beers on tap along with a refrigerated section to take home. The atmosphere of the place is a quiet laid back bar with plenty of board games to choose from. Definitely a great spot to relax and enjoy with friends.

I love this place. Small, very unique, great atmosphere especially in the back garden area. Kid and dog friendly without ever being a romper-room or a dog park. And the beer selection of around 20 craft beers always keeps you guessing. Nothing stays for too long, so theres always something new to discover. On the rare occasion that you cant find something you like on tap, theres a nicely stocked cooler with all kinds of other options in bottles and cans.The staff is friendly, but if I had one thing to complain about its that they often seem far more interested in chatting about the subtleties of beer than they are in helping the next person in line. Its fine when youre being served - theyll tell you all you want to know and give you tastes - but efficiency and moving the line along is NOT their strong point! LOL My suggestion to management - help get more beer into the hands of more customers more quickly! (still giving you 5 stars)

Tucson Hop Shop is the real deal. Friendly, happy, cool place with great people all around. The best way to describe it is - think of Tap and Bottle, and take away the pretentiousness, the hipsters and a couple of dollars off of each beer. Well done, I love it and I keep coming back. Awesome local bar located within an Art shop collective. Interesting area, very nice staff. Always a great selection on tap!As the name implies, they mostly serve beer. No liquor that I have seen, but they do have cold brew coffee for those not wanting to drink alcohol.

Super cool little watering hole in the middle of town. Great find. Dog friendly which is a huge bonus, on top of lots of great beer. Different food trucks, which is hit or miss, but usually pretty good.

Great place for beer lovers. Kegs are rotated frequently with a large variety. If you dont see something on tap there is a much larger selection of cans and bottles. The Hop Shop is Family Friendly and Dog Friendly (bowls for water and dog treats are available). One of the best places for bicyclists to meet as well.

Awesome spot to hang out with friends and have some beers. Also have a decent wine list. They have corn hole outside a loft area where theres board games. Awesome tap list. Pretty decent selection of canned and bottled. Would recommend every single time!

There is always a nice selection of craft beer here, on tap or bottled. The well-spaced, heated outdoor patio is great. I appreciate how, covid-conscious the staff is. Only one group at any time is allowed in the bottle shop at a time. Masks are required other than when seated outdoors.Before the pandemic, I had the following to say:The space itself has plenty of welcoming areas to sit, with a decently long bar, a cozy loft, and a spacious patio. There is often a food truck here, as well. If you come on the full moon, the whole metal arts village (the complex the hop shop is part of) has opens studios with live music and multiple food trucks.

Its hard to say that a place like this has a good beer selection when theyre pretty much everywhere these days. The selection now isnt really something that you even bother talking about.The patio is nice and the service is slow. The prices arent a deal but the people are nice (Which is the Tuscon stereotype, really). Quite bike friendly which is cool, if you forgot your lock they have some to loan.

This place is awesome. So glad it opened up so near to my domicile. Never install screens, its keeps knuckleheads away not having them! Some food trucks not as good as others, but Im sure thats tough to manage. Keep the taps more local if possible, thanks for everything you do!

We love this place! Always a great beer selection on tap, and on the VERY rare occasion when there isnt something to our liking, the bottled (or canned) options in the cooler will always cover your taste. Cool vibe here and the fact that its dog friendly makes it even better.

Lovely little beer garden in a really weird little complex. Seems like no matter when we go all the galleries and workshops are closed. BUT the beer is awesome and the folks are super friendly. Dogs welcome on the patio!
