These prices were great. The ice cream is so creamy and taken care of. The owners are sweet and the customer service is unmatched. I forgot my wallet and they took Apple Pay. Stop by and visit.

This place is a small mom and pop store. The very ground floor idea of America. I will always be in favor of supporting small business and here is a good place to continue that platform. Tons of choices in all kinds of beverages (adult and mixers and more), snacks, lottery, filtered water station and lets not forget the ice cream. Ask for a sample and they will not do you wrong. I encourage anyone who is anyone to shop here when in the neighborhood. Enjoy!

Great customer service. I haven’t had thrifty ice cream since I moved to Arizona. It’s been about 7years. The excitement I felt when I found it at Lucky J Market was amazing. They have all the flavors you can even get scoops, pints, quarts and half gallons. Check them out and have one of the greatest ice creams out there.

This. liquor store. sells. ICE. CREAM. CONES. They do the whole slab creamery thing with the ice cream when theyre putting it in cones... Now they havent been the most accommodating in the past but i believe as frozen dairy aficionados theyve ascended beyond the reach of my petty finger wagging. Just buy the stuff, eat it, and be grateful they had the foresight to set up a dang ice cream counter in the neighborhood!

I love Lucky Js. Ive been going since I was a kid. The people that work there are super friendly. They also carry random things and it turns out to be super convenient. Im sad I no longer live next to this place.

Only come here because its the only place in Tucson that sells Thriftys ice cream by the scoop like my home town used to. I guess its an alright place. Its not in a good location, its actually kinda scary, you get the sensation of someone just lurking around waiting to mug you, but this is due to location not the store itself.
