Great place for quality coffee and a nice atmosphere. Depending on your standards, it’s expensive. However if you believe it can be worth it to pay $6 for a cup of coffee, like me, it’s definitely worth checking out. The coco Rosie was delicious and you can taste the quality and craft going into every ingredient. You can only enter from 1st ave if you’re confused about finding the place, but once you do you’ll appreciate the tucked away atmosphere. If you’re interested in the coffee roasting side of things, I’d definitely check out their website. You can drink in-house out of mugs and their to go cups don’t use straws FYI :)

In my opinion - the BEST Americano coffee drinks in Tucson! Bold yet smooth, always delicious. Their baristas are super friendly and knowledgeable! And they also have the BEST pastries which happen to be vegan, but even if youre not vegan, you will love them! PopTarts, Danishes, Bear Claws, Cupcakes! All truly delicious and amazing.

Ive been here a couple times to get coffee for my dad for fathers day, and the place always has a nice atmosphere. This time, they offered a free cold brew with purchase of the coffee I was getting, so I said sure. their machine stopped working so they offered a few alternatives. Im not a coffee connoisseur by any means, so I just asked them for whatever they thought was best. I dont drink coffee much, but whatever they gave me was really good! A+ for knowledgable and helpful staff :)

This is my favorite coffee roaster in Tucson. The coffee is amazing and a great value. The staff are knowledgeable and not pretentious, which is refreshing for a high quality coffee roaster. They also host tastings where the employees and general public can learn more about the process from roasting, and cupping, to regions and varietals. Also, their pastriess are made locally and are devastatingly delicious.

Great tasting coffee. Had some great spins on the flavors and tastes you cant get anywhere else. Was a little hard to find but its a cool little spot. The guy who took care of us was laid back and friendly. Helped us choose a drink with no judgement like some places. But there was a lady that worked there that had I think reddish brown hair that kept mean mugging us. Luckily their coffee was so good and she wasnt the one taking care of us thank Goodness so I loved it.

I usually like this place. But today I had a very unpleasant experience. So they have house brewed coffee on the menu. I ordered it today, and the barista says they dont make it any more, and I was like you did yesterday. And he was acting really surprised and didnt seem to believe me. He offered to make a pour over, which I agreed on, by saying its probably better. I do know that pour overs are better but they cost twice as much, and I occasionally treat myself to those but I cant afford them everyday. So anyway, if you dont make house brewed, take it off the menu. Thanks

Recently I went to the Mercado location to buy beans and the guy behind the counter was too stoned to form a full sentence. Generally I wouldnt mind this but clearly you cant help customers and make good coffee if you cant form sentences. This place was really cool when it first opened but the focus has obviously become on roasting beans and not managing the front end staff and operation adequately. The coffee is good but the iced drinks are not as the square cubes water down the drinks in the summer. New staff arent that friendly / its hit and miss and the spatial design of the original location has gone down hill. Its supremely awkward and uncomfortable to hang out there which is unfortunate because I used to like to have meetings there.

I moved to tucson a Year ago. Luckily and accidentally ended up at this Presta on my first week. The space is at busier area of the city, but inside feels quiet and calm and intimate. The coffee is fantastic. Presta is the coffee roaster that I feel isn’t just good for tucson, it’s flat out good. The beans are quality, and the process is intentional. I have since met the owner in the shop (this is the roaster) and he has been kind and helpful. It seems like his motives are to quietly build a quality infrastructure of Good coffee.

Irs owned by a local family we should be giving our business to local people over commercialized industries with no morals and over priced machine made goods. Pretty cool looking place, but thats it. The coffee was horrible, there wasnt anything other than a tiny bowl of cane sugar to improve the flavor with, (sorry diabetics, you lose!) And the music was really atrocious. Not much offends me, but when the music in a coffee shop is gangsta rap about f-ing hos, I draw the line. The places to actually carry on a conversation with a friend are almost non-existent because everyone is so close in proximity. I didnt even finish my coffee, and I love coffee. I will never go back here again. The absolute epitome of hipster garbage.

In the middle of nowhere, in an otherwise drab portion of 1st Avenue, in a nondescript location, lies an Oasis for coffee lovers with the correct vibe to do some work and survive through the un-G_dly heat of Tucson. The coffee can be served anyway that you like it but not the place to ask for a chocomocha latte with caramel drip and powdered cacaó with frothed non GMO, low fat, de-estrogenized, soy milk.
