I had a fantastic experience with Geeks 2 You this last week. Dustin came to my home on Friday afternoon to help me clone and replace my hard drive for my laptop. He was very professional and answered all of my questions so I could understand exactly what needed to be done. Geeks 2 You (and Dustin, specifically) were very accommodating with my schedule and made sure I had my laptop up and running by Monday when I needed to work again. Dustin also made sure to call me when there was a problem to keep me posted and make sure I knew what was going on.The price was very reasonable and I truly appreciated the speed and professionalism too.

I brought in a exterior hard drive so see if they could restore my files. I also made a appointment for them to come to my house to help with a new computer/ printer install.Ben B showed up at the appointment time. He was professional & courteous. His work was impeccable. He patiently answered all my questions. He informed me they were unable to restore my exterior drive. He gave me a flyer for a business that could restore the drive. G2U stated there would be no charge for the attempted hard drive extraction because they were unsuccessful. Their price for everything was very fair. After Ben left, I encountered a small issue. I called. Ben called me back and rectified the issue over the phone. I highly recommend their services.

Well, I just have to write and finally say how much I love Geeks 2 You. Theyve been coming to my place to fix computers and printers since 2014… and no wonder! They are often able to send a tech out that same day - or at least the next.During the pandemic it was great to have someone come here, rather than my having to drop off my device somewhere, then go without for several days. But thats always nicer, I think, especially since their prices are so reasonable.Their techs are speedy, sweet tempered and good teachers too. Ive had a ton of them in eight years. Julian, the latest, was just here to fix printer glitches, get rid of some unwanted apps, and show me how to use dictation instead of typing. In fact, I dictated this whole review (with some minor editing). So happy!

I recently moved back to Tucson and just happened to find this locally owned Company when needing help setting up my computer. Very happy with the service I received from Geeks 2 you.I consider myself to be decently efficient when it comes to solving my own computer problems. However, I started having an issue with the constant crashing of games/programs and a fair amount of blue screens on a brand new computer build. All of which (with a bit of research) pointed to the GPU and/or my drivers. After multiple Windows reinstalls and countless headaches with no results, I decided the issue was beyond me.I called Geeks 2 You and they had someone out the following day. Dustin came out and spent about an hour and a half working fast and effectively looking for errors, corrupt files, and updating all of my drivers. Unfortunately while he was out, we were unable to replicate any crashes. So he did what he could with the information that was available.Even after his efforts, the crashing continued. I called back and they decided the next step was to bring the computer in and run it on a multitude of tests. They picked up my computer at no cost since they warranty their work.After a few days of testing and constant communication from Dustin. They narrowed the problem down to my RAM sticks. They recommend that I replace those, and I did. I never would have guessed that these brand new parts could be bad out of the box.After replacing all 4 sticks, everything has been running smoothly and without faults.I am extremely satisfied with every step of this process. Even better, they keep you in the loop the whole time!100% would recommend and will definitely be calling them in the future if I run into more problems.(Sorry this was so long)

I am not computer savvy and when I downloaded a family video from a digitizing company, my computer stated copying data from all my applications to an unwanted drive. Called because 10 year old Dell would not reboot, self efforts and 1-800 services did not help. Called Geeks2You and they called back in minutes. Had tech, Ben, here to home in 1.5 hours. We accessed malfunctioning hard disc data directly with SATA link to new computer. Boom, mission accomplished. Looked at the data and poured it into new computer. Dustin was a lifesaver fixing my old computer so that I could use it at least until I bought a new one and then I had him come back out and transfer all the data from the old computer to the new one. Im showing my lack of knowledge in computers by treating it as an automobile and only bringing in a part, what I suspected to be a bad motherboard on my pc . Of course, unknown to me at the time, this is not how its done and it was made clear to me with an unveiled tone of incredulity, and rudeness to pass me off to another to get this, referring to me inanimately. Of course the business name refers to their employees as Geeks and maybe not much weight should be given to any awkward social givings, but one cannot help see other reviewers on here with exemplory customer relations from this business.I did give a second star in honor of the gentleman who came to get this and whom displayed a suddenly satisfying, but yet normal modicum of customer relations. It was refreshing to deal with him being open to answer questions and seemingly devoid of judgments.

Rarely do I find a business that deserves 10 stars, but Geeks 2 You does. I bought a new computer at Best Buy and then was told their Geek Squad would transfer the data from my old computer to my new computer in one month. What? How crazy is that. After upgrading to Microsoft Office 365—the subscription service--I spent six months trying to get the Outlook calendar, contacts and tasks to sync with my iPhone. I tried another computer tech, many calls to Microsoft support, many calls to Apple support, many calls to Companion Link support (the third party software I had used before switching to MS Office 365). After spending hundreds of dollars and many, many hours of my time trying to get this to work, I called Geeks2You. And thankfully I got Morgan as my tech. After transferring all my data to a new laptop, Morgan took on the challenge of syncing Outlook with my phone, and it wasn’t fast or easy. What impressed me most was his tenacity in finding a solution that really worked. He researched third party software and found a great solution, got it installed, and I am happy to report that after six months of aggravation, I finally have my calendar, contacts and tasks syncing between Outlook and my iPhone. And all this in the middle of the pandemic with Morgan in a mask and gloves working on my back patio. I highly recommend Geeks2You.
