I came here by recommendations of several family members and friends. I am now a loyal customer and would never want to visit another mechanic. They are ALWAYS honest- its one of the reasons I love and trust them so much. Ive never been to a more trustworthy mechanic. They do a thorough job and work hard. Surprisingly, theyre more affordable than anywhere else Ive been. Theyre great at communicating and showing the issue to me as well as answering any questions. Theyre always very patient. Ive only ever had good experiences from their employees- even the lady who works the front register is so sweet and kind.

The staff at the Shell on 5th and Craycroft are very rude. Not polite at all... I stopped going even if its on the way to work... Yikes...

This place is very trustworthy! My son went for an oil change at JT Auto and was told he needed 1,200. in repairs for his vehicle. I told him to take it here and there is absolutely nothing wrong with his car. I will never go anywhere else for car maintenance/repairs. Always listen to your mom!

I have taken my sons old Altima (200K+ miles) to Mark & Larrys Shell three times now. The mechanic who had previously worked on his car retired, and he wanted a trustworthy shop. All three visits have been beyond expectations.The first issue, when he had to have his car towed in, ended up being a loose and dirty battery cable. They cleaned it, put new spacers/pads between the battery post and the connector, tested it, and charged ......not ONE penny. He said, Hey you had to pay to have it towed, and its a simple fix, youve paid enough.The second issue was a fuel pump, and through a comedy of errors on the part of the towing company it took hours to arrive to pick up the car. Then the driver got lost and took more than an hour to deliver it 2-miles!! It did not arrive at Marks shop till after 6PM and someone stayed late to make sure the car got locked up and secured for the evening. Amazing service.And today was the third issue, the power steering pressure hose and the check engine light was on. He fixed the hose, and diagnosed the issue with the light. Realizing the age of the car and understanding my son is trying to eek by with it a bit longer with minimal costs, the recommendation was to wait for that part since it was not a safety issue. The consideration was greatly appreciated.Not only do they deliver quality work at reasonable prices; Mark cares about people, and theres no better service than that. I only wish they could work on my import.

Stopped for a few bucks in gas but had a sleeping baby so I stopped at full service. That cost most than I had so I pulled to the self service but the guy working full service helped me out so much! He was great and friendly! He took my money inside to pay for the gas so I didnt have to get my sleeping baby out of the car. Thank you so much!!!!!

We have taken several cars on many occasions over the course of the last 12 years. Honest, great service. One time, I left my car for some maintenance and mentioned that I was going to walk to the McDonalds to kill time and read a book. Mark & Larry fixed the car and then popped into the restaurant about an hour later to ask me if I wanted a ride back to the shop. Wow. I didnt even know service like that existed anymore.

My dad started going here in 1962 when we first moved to Tucson and it was Larrys station. When Larrys son, Mark, took over management Dad continued until he had to give up driving in 2006. Needless to say its where I take my car too. For good work, honest quotes and fair pricing you cant beat them.

I drive a MINI Cooper S. It requires High Grade fuel. Shell Priemum meets/exceeds MINI requirements. Very satisfied with this brands product.
