Like most stores, prices have increased but still better than anywhere else. The oranges were not in the best of shape. They do not carry fresh cranberries so get them elsewhere. The Ginger was very fresh and healthy looking. Check out was fast and friendly ☺️.

Love this market! Vegetables and fruits are very cheap. Has variety of tortilla and taco shells. Lots of Hispanic foods sold here.

El super always has great prices. The fruit is the best Ive gotten in Tucson. They dont spray there fruit too help it ripen. So it matures naturally. Makes for much better fruit and veggies. Plus the prices are great!!! Ie, 3lbs of apples for 97 cents. 6 cucumbers for a dollar. And there crisp and juicy. The specials on meat, fish, and poultry are also great. They have a deli where you can get homemade cakes cookies and a deli for specialty items and a meat counter. The people are very nice as well

I love the tortillas chips! *TOTOPOS CASEROS*They taste like homemade! The best chips! Your food will taste better with this homemade tortillas chips! The bread *pan de dulce y teleras* are great! and taste like Authentic Mexican pan dulce! They have tres leches cake all the time! I drive 40 minutes just to get my Mexican products here! Vegetables and fruits are always fresh and at least half of the price in comparison to the other local stores... the best product are the tortillas!!! You can find extra large, regular and tiny home made corn tortillas... They also have masa para tamales and masa para tortillas!!! The only thing that I think they need to work to make it better is that carnicería. Meat department need more workers to make a little more efficient the service and move faster the line... You need to take a number to be able to get your turn. Im not always lucky finding mint * yerbabuena* which I need for my soup! Cheese are excellent there! Get the *don Francisco* brand

One of the most authentically Mexican markets this side of the border, with a lavish produce section & a meat department that is definitely not for the squeamish. If the checkout lines are long & you dont have too many items, just head on over to the liquor department where they will happily bag everything for you. A bit of a drive from the East side, but well worth it.

I work at this store. Its great for sales and for the most part, the employees are real helpful, especially Claudia. She will always help you no matter how busy we are. William and Alma, our store manager and store director are also very helpful. I couldnt ask for anyone better to work for. My only complaint would be that there are too many people in the store to practice social distancing or to give the cashiers a chance to disinfect the registers, refill the bags and pick up their area. Other than that, its a great store. We do have alot of customers so be prepared for a little wait. We do try our best to get you in and out in a timely manner.

They have some food you cant easily find in other stores. Great prices! And, on top of everything, they respect your choice when it comes to not wearing a muzzle!

They forgot to put the Leche in the TRES LECHE cake!!!! Lol I drove forever to come to el super because it’s a Mexican market! And they forgot the Leche?! I would put a picture of the cake but it’s all gone. It was beautiful. Poured white chocolate frosting! Strawberries.But no Leche!!!!

It was fine. My favorite part was the bakery. I didnt have time to wait and get something from the meat counter instead I bought some chicken already packaged. I will definitely go back

The prices of packaged goods are a bit high on American products, but the selection of Mexican products along with the prices are better than Walmart. The produce is epic and VERY well priced. The Bakery ladies are very nice and friendly and make beautiful cakes. Awesome quality on the ground beef. Nice store and very fun atmosphere.

Be careful with the panhandlers out in the parking lot! They are very aggressive and confrontational when you ignore them or refuse to give them spare change!

El Super used to be my main place to shop for produce. After visiting a couple days ago I will not be returning. There is no social distancing or mask enforcement and what little bit they do enforce is not the correct way. Employees wearing their masks hanging below their nose or on their chin is not safe and the customers are even worse with some not even wearing a mask. Save yourself a trip to the hospital or possibly your own life and shop elsewhere.

You had me at thirty-foot-long meat counter. Great selection, friendly staff, fun music in the store, and did I mention a thirty-foot-long meat counter?

A lot of Mexican products and the meat department always has the best stuff, the only drawback is that it is always busy and Ive waited up to 45 minutes to get meat. The bakery always has fresh pastries. You have to bag your own groceries at checkout but its not a deal breaker for me.

I love shopping here the customer service is always good the meat and seafood selections are amazing great variety fresh pastrys the also have a wide variety of Mexican cheese and they have a wonderful variety of produce I try to shop here as offten as I can .. The only bad thing is that during peak day and hours is you will sometimes have to wait in line bit its worth the wait .. I always find someone to talk to while waiting..

REALLY GOOD STORE, I dont even know where to begin. I will also add photos eventually i took very good ones with my girlfriend in the store we love this place, first off il start with they have good prices. second and probably more importantly actually is the wide selection and variety they have. just the fruit section alone has a bunch of fruit i have never seen in my life. They have a very cute bakery section filled with wonderful sweets/dougnuts/pastriess/cakes/chocalate/creamcake things in a cup(really good) / cookies muffins, YOU NAME IT THEY HAVE IT.... THey have a very awesome deli section, wonderful sea food. I love this store so much. absolutely blessed place

Little too crowded but they have all you need to make good Mexican foood.

This place is well stocked and has a wide variety not only of brands and products but sizes as well. You can buy just enough until your next visit or you could stock up for a year 😜. This place is clean and they have gaurds present at all times so you should feel safe here as well. I have two complaints and they are minor complaints. They need additional parking during peek hours and also they could stand to open a few of those empty checkout Lanes during peek hours as well. You can almost always count on standing in line for a while here. I dont understand why they always have more Lanes closed than open during any hour of the day. Other than those two things I do recommend this establishment.

A couple days ago the meat department was full of customers waiting. One of the employees there a much older man tried to help with the line by trying to help customers much faster by helping customers looking to buy 1 item only. I think that wouldve worked to cut down on the gathering of people and help the line move faster. Thinking about it it wouldve been easier so that not that many people gather around being said by everyone to avoid large crowds.

I love this grocery store. Im on an extremely small, fixed income and if it werent for El Super I wouldnt be able to afford hardly anything. They have the best prices for produce and meat anywhere in Tucson Id recommend El Super to everyone, they also have a great selection not just prices. Their prices are even better on Wednesdays, Thursdays and the weekends.

This grocery store is a great place with good prices, then most grocery stores. The bakery has such great pies, cakes, and they make corn tortillas as you shop, then you can pick them up, before you pay. They have fresh fish & shrimp, and different types of seafood. They also have an area where you can sample different kinds of cheeses, and then you can order the kind you want. You can also buy packaged meats, or fresh meats,, from the meat department. Really an interesting place, because you actually feel like youre in another country. They have so many different brands of foods. Go and check it out. You may enjoy it.

Careful shopping on this area. The people can be mean and nasty. They are no help. If you know what you want and they dont have it they wont look for it they will just say they dont know and not help you at all to find another alternative. They are always out of fresh produce. Sad you cant find nice and helpful people around this area.

Best place in town for fruits and vegetables. Meat selection is huge but it can take up to half an hour to talk with someone at the butcher counter. Helpful if you can speak Spanish since most everyone there has Spanish as their primary language

If your looking for a grocery store that resembles that of one in Mexico this is the place. This place has a bakery that makes fresh Mexican pastries, cakes and more. They have a meat section with a few butchers. Due to some of the low priced produce on Wednesday this place is chaotic, and Thursday they have meat specials so expect the grocery store to be chaotic on both those days. The two cons are that the parking slots are small and seem to always be full, the second is that you have to bag your own grocery. PS: they have imported Mexican brands.

Avoid this place on Wednesdays. Its no Costco you will be in line FOREVER!

Front end supervisor very rude. Possibly manager. Told me they were closed 5 minutes before posted time. Put pressure on me to stop shopping and checkout. Acted like he was annoyed with me. As if Id done something wrong.Apparently not friendly to non-hispanics. Very icy attitude towards me for no reason. Or maybe just wanted to go home early and wanted to kick everybody out of the store. Not good customer service. Very rude and unfriendly Wont go back. Probably what they want anyways....Plenty of other businesses to spend my money at.

Very affordable produce and meat. Just stay to the outside isles and youll find savings. Fairly clean store although Im not sure the guys at the meat Dept change their gloves often enough. Go early in the morning to get meat as it gets quite crowded later. It helps if you can order in Spanish.
