Fudge disgusting. The butler did not have a hair net he had long curly black here it was in all my carne. What happen to this place I been going for years now it has been gone down.

I used to buy corn tortillas and I hoped this time they were different from las time. Quality went down, the tortillas are sticky, falling apart and moist. I won’t buy them again.

I tried the fresh, marinaded carne asada and was very happy with it. Tender, good flavor and not too much fat. Maybe they were short staffed that day but it took time waiting for help at the meat counter. I also bought guacamole and salsa, both good. I dont eat Mexican bread but it looked good to me. I will get back there but have one more carnicería to try.

Nice small and decent price

I came here for a craving of green corn tamales and beef chorizo. I think its a hit and miss depending on the region and area in which you were brought up in or perhaps even the types of food you were accustomed to. I felt that the green corn tamales were gross. They definitely were moist I give them credit for that, thats pretty much it. The corn wasnt ground well enough. While chewing you actually get kernel skins stuck in your teeth. This masa has very little flavor. Yeah, not for me 😣. There is barely any cheese and definitely not worth the $16 I paid for each dozen. The beef chorizo also had no real flavor, adding salt or egg didnt even help. Thumbs down on both items. And as if this wasnt enough, there is only 1 cashier and 1 person behind the butcher area. So, wait you shall. And wait and wait. Needless to say, I will never go in here again.

I dont know how and I dont know why, but they have the best Masa for tamales I have ever run across. Its all the same ingredients (maybe). I only use their Masa for my tamales.The employees are always welcoming when you walk through the door. The corn tortillas are the best in town.Thanks for being awesome!

This carniceria was wonderful very friendly hospitable treat you like family would recommend to everyone cooked our Garnet asada and our chicken asada perfect also got lots of sides of different chilies to make an excellent salsa

The butcher guy was extremely rude and not helpful when we tried asking him about some of the cuts of steak. We bought carne asada that was madinaded and was extremely bland and nasty. Ive had way better carne asada then this! The cashier lady was very nice and friendly, just too bad we had that experience because we are never going back. Ill drive further to El Herradero where the meats are of quality and the taste is better.

The food here is good and thats not why i give a low rating. I had a horrible experience where i went in to pick up the food my wife ordered and was told the basics and that was all fine. Its ready so you want any beans or rice. The basics of picking up carne asada from here. But when i went outside to get my food the guy 1 speaks no English and got angry i dont speak alot of spanish. He started to make me feel like i was a thief looking for free food. Started to argue saying i never payed when he had seen me in line and had asked me something that i could barely hear. Started to just look in my bag wothout any permission of any kind then when i started to ask for my food that i just payed 50 bucks for the other guy comes out and says the bag in front is my bag. When i asked are you sure the name on the bag doesnt match my wifes name and i dont wanna take somwones order amd they got very loud and basicly told me just take the food i dont care. I understand there is a pandemic going on and people are stir crazy but if it was my job and you came in i would treat ylu with respect and be helpful not rude pushy and aggresive for no reason. Should never of happened.

Love going in their the cashier is friendly and I find all those Mexican chips, ice cream, mexican candy and their sweet bread mm😋😋. No need to talk about their meat & chicken delicious!!!

Great place for Mexican food and meat market, all the perks of a Sonoran Mexican store,, meats produce, and prepared food to go. Just try the homemade corn tortillas made fresh daily. I highly recommend.

Filthy place, not recommended, there’s better Mexican stores nearby. Went after reading some of the good reviews posted here, the place looked filthy starting by the entrance with laughable spelled signs on front, I was not greeted when I got in, the teen in the counter didn’t even notice someone had walked in, the place smelled really bad like rotten meat. They place is super small and there’s better stores with more variety, I simply walked out as soon I could due to the terrible smell.

I went here last week and got some meat from the butcher. He asked if I wanted the meat marinated with their house marinade. Of course I said to him.Then had the man around back cook it for me. It was delicious! I made carne asada burritos with the fixings I got from their Deli cases. They have authentic Queso blanco along with really good pico de gallo and salsa verde. Also I cant forget to mention that the service here is excellent and very good prices on everything in the store. I went here on a Friday at 2pm. So I cant say what the hours are that they cook the meat for you. But I was sure to leave a decent gratuities for the grill man.Ill definitely go back,they are terrific people and so humble. I will be recommending this meat market for sure.

Disgusting. Overpriced food thats about to expire. The la noria tortillas are a joke! Theyre as thin as paper, fall apart and have no flavor. Low quality meat that has more than half fat. Their tamales are thin and dried up.. They need to raise their standards or lower their prices lol
