It desperately needs a better waiting area with better sitting. just too uncomfortable. Wish my car got worked on when I made my appointment but they started on it an hour after I got there. Took 3 hours and a half total but I was very happy with the tints. My car looked great.

Terrible service!!! Be careful! the 1 time they glued it just badly, didnt wash the windows before, with the dirty previous glue. we returned the car, they agreed that they had done badly and said they would redo it (while scratching the molding outside). the 2 time they asked to leave the car for the whole day and pick it up in the evening,but later they said that the car was not ready and pick it up tomorrow.ok.we called the next day and they said that no one came to work, and they can make the car tomorrow(as I understand it,one of the workers took car and drove around).when we arrived to pick up the whole car was with garbage inside, everything was scratched inside,and most importantly they destroyed my new tires on the front wheel 600$ per 1 (which I put 2 days ago and the car was in my garage all this time).Just idiots, No words.UPDATE: you don’t know what u talking about. customers asked to see the video, but the employees did not want to.They said write to owners email, make an appointment, come and see (so needs to cancel the work to do this)the car is now in tuning,because of this,some parts have been removed and in paint shop now.it looks like this as if someone drove it, otherwise why keep it for 2 days,a lot of garbage inside and the drivers seat was adjusted for a different driver.

Isaac at the front desk was very patient and hooked me up with great deals! He was straightforward and helpful, trying to get me the best deal possible. He is the only rep in the front, so he works very hard to answer phones and handle customers on the floor at the same time. He has great customer service skills and I would definitely recommend going to them for audio/tint services! Thanks Isaac!!

Terrible customer service is an understatement. My partner had a 12pm appointment to get his stereo installed and when he arrived, they werent trying to acknowledge that he had one. They told him they could start at 3pm and only after waiting until 4pm, they informed him they would not have time for his truck until Monday (two days away). He spent FOUR HOURS waiting despite having an appointment making the excuse that the previous customers vehicle took longer than anticipated. These are guys that work on cars all the time - to say that you didnt know it would take that long as an excuse to not communicate is unacceptable. Keep your customers updated. Garbage service. Stay away from this place.

Wasnt to sure what to expect as I used the GROUPON special for window tint. After all was said and done, Im completely satisfied with the out come. In fact, Im so satisfied that I went back to have both my daughters cars done as well as a rear window on my other vehicle. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO RISK YOUR CAR BEING SCRATCHED and YOUR TINT FILMS SCRATCHED, DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE.Issue: They did a poor job of tinting the windows (you can see scratches in the film) and not only that, I believe I have enough of a proof that shows that they did not take great care of the car and may have scratched my paint. You can see the pictures.Details:I bring my 1 month old Tesla Model S into the shop for window tinting. I had my car paint corrected in order to get my car wrapped soon with 3M Pro Scotchguard. Because the car is so new to me, I know exactly the condition of the paint, given that I had this car paint corrected recently.After I get the window tinting done, I notice several things.1. The Tint film has multiple scratches on the film and is very visible. (This goes to show that they werent being careful when theyre tinting the windows). The picture of the rear window is just an example and if you see this in person, its much more noticeable and you will see these types of scratches in other windows as well.2. I notice 2 clear coat scratches on my passenger sides. I also notice fine scratches near the passenger fender.Store Claim: They claim that they dont even go near the fender area. Unfortunately for them, my Tesla has Sentry Mode (it records the surrounding) and I capture the worker pressing his bottle into the fender which is causing these fine scratches. As for the 2 clear coat scratches, the store claims that it wasnt their fault. At this point, its a HE SAID & SHE SAID thing. The sentry mode does capture how the worker is not being careful so I am not at all surprised with the scratches. Please see pictures attached. In the end the store refused to take responsibility and not even offered to share the responsibility of ANY of the scratches even though I gave them the video recording footages. It was pointless to continue the conversation at this point.I thought about taking them to court but I found a detail shop that can fix all these issues for $200 so its not worth my time to take these guys to court. Obviously I am not a happy customer and I am sure the store feels the same way about me. But I am writing this review to share my experience in the most objective view as possible by attaching the pictures of what COULD HAPPEN TO YOUR CAR.Update: I totally expected the owner to label me negatively so no surprise there. I am stating what happened so that all the users can decide for themselves. The shop has 2 choices. One, to continue to behave the way they do, or Two, to better take care of their customers. Yes there are many customers that are happy but i also see customers that are unhappy so that proves my point. The new customers can decide for themselves.

This place USE to have the most professional and helpful staff both behind the counter and installers. After dropping over $2000 and having a few minor issues that needed dealt with I feel like I was disregarded by the entire staff. The installer broke my grill cover in the dash and tried to repair it with double sided tape. Then after I was told by the manager that I could order the part and bring a receipt for reimbursement I was told by the front desk worker that it was between me and the owner and I had to email him to get my money back. Make sure you double check the install and custom box builds before you pay them for it because once you pay them they dont care anymore. Needless to say after being a loyal customer for 6 years now I WILL NOT BE RETURNING

Follow up to my last interaction with this company. They said they would fix the speakers in my car but again did not complete the job. I was told AGAIN to bring my car back another day. Wen i arrived to this once again rescheduled appointment. i was told they would not fix my car. I was told by the manager of the tukwila location that i would be inserted into an email thread with the owner to resolve the issue. Two days later i have yet to receive an email and and my calls are not answered…..my advice to anyone looking to get stereo work done on their car, just go to Car Toys. The customer service will be much better there. The quality of customer service will out weigh the price every time!…..this company refused to help me with an issue THEY caused and now I’m out almost $1600

I am giving this place a 5 star although it’s not a perfect shop but who is perfect.These guys are a younger team that tries to accommodate our needs with tech they sell, problem is aftermarket tech isn’t designed for each and every vehicle they work on and I think people forget that.Most assume everything is plug n play and installation is quick, easy and should be cheap but insta of aftermarket tech in our cars is never a science unless you are installing the same part in the same car but that is never the situation, it’s alway a different car, different tech in a different location.All I needed was fog lights installed. Easy right?..... Wrong, after seeing what these guys go through to just install fog lights into my car was very enlightening?I’m thankful they allowed me to see some of the process.See the pics of the process just to add fog light into my lower grill area.I am surprised these guys enter a new job with a smile instead of that look they CAN give you like “You’re Crazy if you think we can do that”Well each job is custom and these guys have just figure out things as they start peeling skins off to see what they have to work with.I was a sceptic at first but after seeing the process and waiting till 9pm after hours yes many hours in the eating room checking in the progress I have more respect for these guys that use there creative mind to accomplish what we have in our mind with out it costing much more than what they charge.I couldn’t believe the dedication they had to finish what they started, other shops would just say it’s two days and leave at regular work times but these guys love the stress of finishing a crazy go hard job if possible.Yes I wish it was cheaper and faster but realistically it isn’t always easy.Again aside from the shop pics look at what was done just to install fog lights.Thanks guys

I drove by this place actually on mistake cuz I was lost Im from Colorado you see, I have been thinking about giving an alarm to go with my already installed remote start which is a compustar, best product on the market if you ask me Ive done a lot of research, I pulled into the parking lot did a quick Google search of these guys turns out theyre only one of four that basically has compustars seel of approval they call them pro installers. Anyway the kid is the counter was on his game knew everything got me the best deal hepossibly could. The installer did an amazing job is clean it still looks factory plus they got me out the door in 2 hours that never happens in the audio world I highly recommend these guys.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE From Victor and Nick in Tukwila as well as the entire Kent division.Made an appointment on a Saturday for warranty work. Came back 2hrs later and the vehicle hadnt moved. When I came inside and and asked what the Eff I was accused of swearing at the counter rep and they refused to complete the warranty work and extra work I was will to pay for.WHAT A JOKE.

I came into Foss Audio and Tint to get my windows tinted at the Kent location. Great affordable price, pretty quick service and good customer service. My only flaw was they didnt wear mask.

Waste of time. I called southcenter location and Victor said they’ll look at the CarPlay install kit for my car that I purchased and was told to stop by. Marvin was at the counter said he was told they don’t accept outside products and to come back in two months because they are busy installing parts for customers in store. I asked if I can talk to Victor directly and I feel that Marvin made up some story on the spot that he’s busy and can’t talk to anyone. If the company sees this, you have my contact info. I decided to get the work done at a competitor.

I typically don’t do reviews unless I have had either outstanding service or horrible service, and this time I have had an amazing experience! So I thought I would share my experience with Foss Audio in Tukwila, WA that I had a few weeks ago! I have a 2003 BMW 745 Li which I just recently purchased.. The car is in pristine condition and I bought it out right, so needless to say this is now my new baby! I asked a couple coworkers where I should go to get an audio system and window tint. 3 of my coworkers have gone to this Foss Audio location before and had nothing but great things to say about them! My major concern as a BMW owner was the quality of the job, due to the complicated electrical system of the type of car. I told them what my budget was and what I wanted in my car.. after 30 min of going over my car I was given a good game plan on what they were to add. They took careful consideration and a detail analysis we concluded what would be the best option for what I was looking for ( high quality sound with a deep and clear bass, while maintaining the integrity of my vehicle ) So I dropped my vehicle off in the morning and they said it would be done after I get off work. The only “negative” thing I can say is that it did take longer than expected ( due to how complicated my car is built ) BUT on the positive side of this negative aspect is that they did put 9 extra hours ( more than we originally discussed ) into my vehicle with NO extra charge! So I did receive my car back the following day. And let me tell you! I couldn’t have been any more satisfied with the end result!! They built a ( Custom designed Sub woofer box for my trunk ( I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ASKING ABOUT THIS DESIGN!! ) The reason being if you have a higher end vehicle typically the trunks are air tight and are sound dampening and decreases the bass quality which is the problem I had with my vehicle. BUT the design of the box increases the bass decibels by 250%!. And BELIEVE me it works better than expected!! The quality of the sound and the deepness of the bass exceed my expectations! I could not have been more pleased with the job!! We ended up only going over $300 of my original $2,500 budget due to the complications of the type of car I have. ( including ceramic window tint all the way around my car, which is by the way flawless with out a single bubble or imperfection! ) The staff their were friendly and accommodating! They addressed my major concern of the quality of the job and maintaining the integrity of my vehicle! My car looks exactly the same as it did when I gave it to them! So they with out a doubt deserve the time it took to give this review and I highly recommend coming here if you want a high quality job done right the first time with friendly staff who will with out a doubt take care of your baby! I willl recommend anyone to come to Foss Audio in Tukwila! 10 out of 10!

Not an honest shop..I put down a nice deposit on some nice subs for my truck then was sent over seas and by the time I came back my deposit disappeared. Talked to the owner/manager he said hed take care of me when I returned home but after trying to get ahold of him on the phone or in person was not gonna happen. Careful going here dont give them a penny on deposit.#Actions speak louder then words for the owner

They got nothing done and wanted me to leave.the car there when I returned with 2 hours to close?I was having my own new gear I provided installed, likely why my car was pushed to the end of the line in favor over their own product installs.If commitment to service is a key driver, you wont find it here. Got my two front windows in my Jeep tinted and didn’t notice until I got home that there was a small imperfection in one of my window tints. I came back later that day and they redid the whole window free of charge. Great customer service!

Not a awesome experience. Had some tint done. Price isnt bad but quality is lacking. Car is brand spanking new so it was clean inside and out. I had an appointment at 10am but car wasnt ready till 4pm so not sure why Im scheduling an appointment it its not worked on at that time of scheduling. I called when I had seen that the car wasnt being worked on. As soon as I hung up I got notification that they were working on it. When I dropped it off I was told 2 cars in front of me and I was next. Well doesnt seem like that was the case. Door cards were covered in residue from the tinting fluid. One handle had sticky gunk on it. Also some fluid that ran down the door into the jam. Also the drivers side window outside had glue / junk on it. Wasnt there when I dropped it off. Las but not least they lef the bottles on the top of my car which left rings of fluid and stains.Last but not least none of the people working were wearing masks ! Im not a Karen but really your working face to face signing papers and working in the car with no mask. Not expectable !

Guys were hella chill, vibes were great and I definitely will be coming back. The service was all there, they helped get what I need for the right prices. I have had my ignition interlock through foss audio for 5yrs now and by far they are the best to have to deal with in these unfortunate times.I had it with another company before and it was just one headache after another. If you have to have an ignition interlock you should go to them in Tukwila.

I have had two experiences and both have been good. One more than the other but overall I would recommend this place. It took much longer than expected but I understand they were busy and I’m grateful that they stayed late to finish that says a lot about them. I know someone mentioned that they were not wearing masks and I think it’s because they are able to keep 6 feet of distance and large warehouse like they have, a limited amount of employees. But in customer facing, a mask to protect others and rather than yourself, and it’s mandated in King County, unless they have underlying medical reason which we can’t assume they don’t. The lifetime warranties are a major plus!

Did the best tint job I’ve ever seen best customer service as well very helpful was all the questions I had too. Definitely going to recommend them to all my friends. And for sure coming back to get the audio hooked up. Thanks guys!!

I bought a Groupon for a 4 window tint. I was charged an additional $120 on top of my Groupon due to 4 additional tiny windows on my vehicle. The Groupon plus the $120 is still less than the average price of a tint job, but I would have never bought the Groupon if I knew I would be charged an additional $120.The first time I brought my vehicle in, there were 2 medium length pieces of hair on my driver window, a cluster of dust bubbles on my passenger window, a cluster of dust bubbles on my both back windows, and a notable gap in one of my back windows (it looked as if they didnt measure the tint film accurately).The second time I brought my vehicle back to get these things fixed, they only fixed my driver window.The third time I brought my vehicle back they fixed the remaining issues. The next day I noticed 4 strands of hair in the fixed passenger window. I called to get the passenger window fixed, but decided it was not worth a 4th trip to a shop that is not efficient at a proper tint job.There customer service is 4/5, but that doesnt make up for the quality of tint and attention to detail on this service. It is frustrating to continue to go back and take time out of my day to get a less than mediocre tint job. I contacted them to get my whole car stripped of the tint and my money back via email, but no one responded to me.Save yourself the trouble and go to somewhere else for your tint.

Laffeyette and Victor are the best in the west. I have had 3 cars done by them all came out perfect. It is a must that you have Laffeyette build you a custom enclosure the boxes he has built for me have not been matched by anyone on the west coast. Great prices, but the fact that knowone answers the phone is very unprofessional, how can I check inventory if you dont answer the phone?

I got tint installed and we love it. I was a little leery about some bubbles but they went away like they said it would. Good investment. Looks like a totally different car and keeps the sun out. I definitely recommend this shop.

These people are not wearing masks, just so you know. I left without speaking to them.Wow, after reading your response, others might want to know that none of those behaviors on your part were occurring at the time of my visit. As for what you write about masks, it speaks for itself as science, as public health, and as customer service. One employee I saw without a mask had such a huge beard that a mask would have made no difference.

Extremely happy with Foss Audio, Tukwila! Much better service than another car audio chain just a mile away. You know which one I’m talking about. I went to Foss to have my windows tinted. They did a beautiful job. Thank you (I think his name is) Mike and Joe. You gentlemen did an amazing job!

Very nice and friendly staff! Was recommended to Foss Audio here in Tukwila by two of my coworkers and I was not disappointed! I made an appointment online for a full vehicle tint on a Saturday morning and a line formed as soon as they opened! Be patient - they only allow two customers inside at a time right now to observe social distancing. The tint job only took about 2.5 hours and they called me immediately once it was finished. John and Cavin did an excellent job! I paid $249.99 online for the 3M FX Premium Tint and then after installation I just had to pay the sales tax of about $33. Definitely great for those on a budget, PLUS it comes with a lifetime warranty! Looking forward to future visits at this location!

Excellent customer service. Called to confirm appointment and again to ask about tint specifics just prior to appointment. They were ready before our scheduled time and knew we left our vehicle in good hands. Excellent results we can count to last for years. Would definitely recommend.

It was awful due to the fact that there were hidden fees and I had to pay extra money for the tint. The owner quoted me $75 after I paid $169.00 on groupon for the tint. But had to pay four hundred dollars once all said and done. The quality was good, but I highly feel I was over charged. I will not go here again. Wouldnt went here if I was told the truth about all the hidden fees.😡🤬

Went in with no appointment and they got my windows tinted and my system hooked up same day. Victor is super friendly and helpful. He also did a great job on my system. Couldnt be more happy with the deal I got as well. Will definitely recommend them in the future and will go back again. Thanks guys!
