After having to go somewhere else, while Innovative Eye Care (my usual spot) was closed, it gave me an even deeper appreciation of Dr. Jitodai.Not only does she explain everything along the way, she is gentle! She makes you feel very comfortable and cared for.Missing my eye doctor and so happy to have found such a great place :)

They are super knowledgeable and helpful with whatever you need, from explaining you the basics of your prescription, what your insurance covered and what would be your responsibility, they tell you before hand exactly how much you will pay, help you find the best frames for you without hassling you to get the most expensive ones or the options they want and take the time you need to be fully sure you are happy with whatever you will be getting! Plus they were able to schedule my appointment in less than a day, which is hard to find in other locations nearby with good reviews.

First time I was going through an eye check up at this place. I booked appointment a day before and I didn’t have to wait at all for my turn. The doctor is very caring and tells the cost before doing any exams out of coverage. The person at the front desk explained my results of the exam in detail and did not have any hidden charges on my bill. He also explained what my insurance covers so I had a good idea what to expect.

The service in this place is fantastic! Dr. Jitodai is very caring and takes her time in helping her patients. Carlos is awesome! He is so detailed and educated me on a lot things when it came to my children’s prescriptions. We have gone several different places over the years and by far they have the best service and care in town. Highly recommend!

It was worth the 13 hour drive up from California for the expertise and care of Dr. Jitodai and Carlos. Specifically in regards to Ortho-K, something so helpful and yet simultaneously seemingly unknown in the United States. Nobody close by had the real up to date knowledge on the craft. Dr. Jitodai and Carlos took great care of me and helped me have a better understanding of what exactly would happen should I go down this route.Great service, wish I could give them 6 stars.

It was my first time coming to Innovative Eyecare today, and let me just say, they have the BEST customer service ever. I love how Dr. Jitodai was so friendly and tried to make the experience as comfortable as possible. She was very personable and patient with me when getting my eye exam. There were times where I had to ask her to flip the lenses(1, 2, or 3) again to help me decide which lens was bolder and sharper. She also explained to me the benefits of lasik vs ortho-k. I loved that I didn’t feel rushed with her when getting the eye exam. They really try to take care of each individual that walk through the door and followed the social distancing procedure by limiting the amount of patients allowed in office.Another person that made my experience here really awesome was Carlos. When I didn’t know which pair of glasses frames I would like, Carlos helped me along the way and gave tips on how they could enhance the glasses experience for me by choosing the right forms of cushion for the nose bridge. He was so patient as well, especially when I requested to try on multiple pairs of glasses. Never once did I feel rushed to choose a pair and go. Carlos was super knowledgeable and elaborating on where the frames were made, how they were made, and what the were made with. He would go into detail for the different brands so that I would have all the information I need to choose which pair is right for me. Not only that, but he also went in depth on the benefits of ortho-k. Carlos would pull out graphs and other charts to help me better understand how ortho-k provides preventative measures for my eye sight.Overall, Dr. Jitodai and Carlos provided the best customer service ever! Both were patient, knowledgeable, and elaborative. I would recommend them to anyone who’s looking for an optometrist.Edit: they didn’t come off as pushy or salesy when they recommended ortho-k.

Never seen better! Dr. Jitodai asked me great questions and was able to answer all of my mine. She was very mindful and patient with me throughout the exam. Carlos explained my prescription and how it effected my vision. He educated me on my eyewear options and dialed in my eyeglasses giving me a perfect fit and line of vision. Dr. Jitodai and Carlos put me in the perfect glasses. First pair of glasses I’ve ever had that greatly improved my vision. Things are sharp and clear, nighttime driving is no longer a problem.

Most helpful and informative eye doctor Ive been to. Staff extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Works with my insurance so I can fully understand my coverage, eye care options, and out of pocket expenses. And I finally understand what my prescription means!Innovative is an apt name for this clinic. Never before seen equipment used and unheard of options for lenses available. I dont remember all the correct terminology but in simple terms I got anti reflective coating with blue block and digital lenses for my glasses. I can truly see now!!! Color is vivid and clarity is amazing.Highly recommended if you want state of the art technology for your eyes and if you want to know more about your vision and health. I came to my appointment without any questions in mind but left with information I should have been told by other eye doctors Ive been to.Must experience this clinic for yourself to truly understand what weve been missing in our eye care. Your next pair of glasses will be a wonder.

I absolutely love Dr. Jitodai and Carlos. I have never received a more comprehensive eye exam at any other private/retail optometry, and appreciate how much time they offer to their patients to provide the best care & answer questions. I received my all time favorite pair of glasses from Innovative Eyecare, and although a little pricier than retailers like Costco or Warby Parker, I definitely understand the concept now of getting what you pay for because no other pair of glasses measured up to the comfort and fit. One awesome thing to note is that Carlos can add nose pads to any plastic frames if you need that extra support to keep your glasses up. I would recommend them to any of my family and friends.

Two years after moving here, I finally found a new optometrist: Innovative Eyecare near Southcenter Mall. I’ve worn bifocals for 25 or 30 years and have NEVER been able to read with them. I was always canting my head up and down and side to side, trying to find the sweet spot where I could focus with both eyes. Well, these folks don’t just look at your eyes and put dots on the lenses. They have software that fits your eyes much better and an operator who really knows how to use it.I just picked up my new glasses, and they are perfect! I won’t have to switch back and forth between the bifocals for driving and reading glasses for close work anymore! They were not cheap (I went for about the best they offered), but it is worth it to me to see so much better.Excellent, personalized service—I highly recommend!

Carols and Dr. Jitodai, are amazing. I have amazing private insurance and my kids have state insurance they do everything to help my girls and maintain there I care. I will recommend them to!!! Also Carols customer service is amazing all the time...😁😁

Dr. Jitodai and Carlos are nothing short of amazing!! I have a lot of issues with my eyes post lasik and I have never had a better patient experience than I do EVERY single time I come here (which is a lot). They both make you feel important and that they geniunely care about you and the health of your eyes. I am so happy I found such a great eye doctor and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to know what quality patient care really looks like because it doesn’t get better than these two and this place!

I have had the good fortune of finding Dr. Jitodai who now serves as my eye doctor. I have never received such a thorough exam in my forty years of wearing corrective lenses. The doctor took her time, was knowledgeable, very engaging, professional and a pleasure to work with. She asked pertinent questions, and listened carefully to make sure she got up to speed on my vision history, so she could understand how to best serve me. Carlos, at the front desk, was extremely accommodating, personable and competent. He very willingly and efficiently found out the ins and outs of my insurance in a timely manner. I received my lenses and couldnt believe how clearly I could see, and the fit was very comfortable. I was so pleased, I made sure to send my husband in for glasses. He, too, has received quality service. Dr. Jitodai and Carlos have done nothing but bend over backwards to meet all of our needs. I have seen them interact with other patients. Innovative Eyecare is one of the best eye care clinics I’ve been to yet! They truly go above & beyond to provide exceptional service & quality care. I am incredibly pleased with my entire experience & cant say enough great things!I found Innovative Eyecare through my VSP eye care coverage and saw they were near where I lived so I decided to check them out. I had a few questions so I decided to call. I spoke with Carlos & before I even booked my exam he spent the time to walk me through EVERYTHING I needed to know about scheduling an exam, my coverage & how it works, the cost, how long to expect my exam to take, my current prescription and even how different lenses would work on me. I decided to schedule my exam right away & I had a feeling I made a really good decision.After going to my exam & meeting Dr. Jitodai and Carlos in person I knew I was in good hands. They were incredibly knowledgeable & thorough asking me very specific questions. That shows that they aren’t there just to go through the motions. Dr. Jitodai and Carlos want to get your prescription done right & not just cycle through their patients. Not only did they teach me so many things I had never known about general eye health, but they really took the time to listen & make sure they accurately assessed my needs to find out what would be in my best interest.I highly recommend Innovative Eyecare!
