Great knowledge amongst the mechanics, friendly sales staff. Likely the largest stock of new bikes at any given time. They keep a good selection of accessories and components that won’t break the bank. If quality is what you’re after, stop by BOT.
Absolutely Incredible people, they were super helpful and let me trade in two bikes days after buying them from them so I could get the bike I wanted. Now I have an awesome bike that I love.
BoT is the first bike shop I’ve visited since moving to Tulsa and I had a great experience with Scott, who got me properly fitted in a bike I bought elsewhere. Such a good guy and hey, he made me like my bike more! ❤️🚴❤️ Can’t wait to spend more money there!
Best customer service, EVER! Took my daughters older bike that we bought from Walmart a few years ago in to fix my mistake. Took it right away and in about 5 minutes, everything was fixed; even something that I didnt mess up!
BOT is great. The guys there really know their stuff and are always willing to help.
The customer service here is unreal. The Store Manager is awesome. Def a returning customer.
Great place to buy a bike. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. We were greeted when we walked in the door and helped shortly after. We could look around without any pressure. New to the MTB, Scott helped my wife and I find bikes that fit us and ones that were within our budget. After letting us test drive a couple of bikes we found what we wanted. Thanks BOT.
Stephen came through in a pinch and got me exactly what I was looking for. Cant recommend this shop enough. They have an extensive inventory and knowledgeable staff.
I was in town with my team, DCC, for Tulsa Tough. Happy to say we took 3rd in the Omnium but sad to say I got crashed out. Stopped by Bicycles of Tulsa and they had my bike back to perfect amazingly fast. A very friendly group of professionals. I know where I’m coming to get my bike race ready before next year’s event!
Very helpful, not pushy. Have always had a good experience buying or browsing or just asking advice.
Friendly and efficient service! Great selection of bikes, equipment, and accessories.
Finding the right bike shop is like finding the right life partner, takes a lot of work, effort, frustration; and if your lucky you will be together forever.I think I found that bike shop since moving to Tulsa. Ive been loyal to my home town shop in Big Bear forever, but with a move propagates that need to find a new shop, and I was lucky enough to find Bicycles of Tulsa.I chopped it up with the owner for a while my first time there, and recently Todd in the service dept. Both very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do.Pleased to know theres a good bike shop in town that I can rely on to get the job done.
Had such an awesome experience with Bicycles of Tulsa! Took my old Schwinn in to get new tires and they were affordable, quick to help, and gave my old bike a whole new look. Was in and out within an hour of repair, and they helped me unload/load the bike! (I do not have a bike rack)These guys were just awesome and cool to talk to while I was waiting, too. If I could give more stars I would!
Went in to the shop to buy some bicycling shoes. Newer to riding and have a lot to learn about it. Employee was very informative. Showed me exactly what I needed and provided some solid advice. Appreciated the experience and will come back.
I picked up my first bike from BoT shortly after Tulsa Tough in 2018. Ive since purchased a nicer road bike and most of my accessories from this shop. After being in the cycling community for a couple years, I have visited pretty much all the other shops and although they have great things about them, I find myself always coming back here. They have the largest selection and honestly.... the most non-bias, knowledgeable staff as well. They recognize different brands have different great things about them, and carry the best of whatever theyre selling. Whether I was brand new, or now a seasoned rider, I have always felt at home here. Although I can find accessories sometimes cheaper online, knowing Im supporting my LBS and have100% satisfaction of whatever I buy is huge perk. Thanks BoT!
I LOVE Bicycles of Tulsa! I bought my bike from them a couple of years ago, and every single time I come in the service is exceptional. Scott is so knowledgeable and is always willing to help with anything I have had issues with. I brought my friend there to purchase her first bike, she told them her price range and fit her to a perfect bike that she loves and never tried to force her out of the price range that she was comfortable with. I recommend this shop to every single person I know who is looking for a new bike or even just has questions about buying a bike I general.
Amazing bike shop! Huge selection of bikes. Great customer service, super knowledgeable staff.
I have purchased one of my sons bicycles here and the service was very good. He is young and just getting a larger bike so they took time to help him feel more comfortable riding it and made sure it was set up to fit him properly.Although this location isnt as convenient for me due to where I live, their selection of products is extensive and definitely worth a few extra miles for me. I can highly recommend Scott and the staff here.
One of the best bicycle shops Ive ever been to. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and overall awesome. Very refreshing. Not all bike shops are as welcoming as this one.
If you are looking for a bike shop in Tulsa to pick up a quick part, buy a new bike, or have work done on your bike, you cant go wrong with BOT.For years I had been visiting what ever bike shop was closest to me at the time when I needed a part. In Tulsa, we are spoiled with many shops spread out through out the city. While BOT is almost never the closest bike shop to me when ever I need a part, or work done on my bike, I consistently find myself going slightly out of my way to go there. The staff has always been friendly, knowledgeable, and pitches the best part for my needs to me (even when I have been looking at a more expensive option, that is overkill for my needs). With all of that being said, I dont believe you will second guess your decision if you end up at BOT.
Friendly staff. Bought a bike and happy with my purchase.
My boyfriend and I bought bicycles here a year ago and have been very satisfied with them:) the price was also very reasonable
Went here looking for a 3 speed shifter for an old bike. They didnt have it in stock which is understandable, they didnt have anything similar in stock which is odd and they cant order anything like it online. The shifter is just a common 3 speed thumb shifter and this huge store filled with fancy bikes and possibly highly trained professionals couldnt help us. Go someplace else folks.
I purchased a Cannondale Gravel bike from Bicycles of Tulsa and I am very impressed with the store and it’s employees. Being a new rider, the employees were extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. They didn’t try to sell me things I didn’t need and made a outstanding buying experience. I will definitely be returning for any biking needs!
Very knowledgeable and helpful sales associates!
I tried visiting this store twice now because I want to get a new bike but both times I went, I couldn’t find a parking spot. They have like 7 spaces but the trucks that park there usually go over their own parking line. It’s very inconvenient and not worth the hassle and my time anymore. I only gave them two stars because Mingo & 51st is a good location.
Friendly, to the point staff. Most bike shops dont care for educated customers (I only go there to get parts) but these guys are real techs who love bikes so it makes it loads easier to get what you need and want. They also let me try out an electric pedal assistance bike in the track behind the store. Killer shop!
Packed inventory, even during this shortage and J.C. was super willing to help steer me in the right direction in looking for my first mountain bike.
This is by far my favorite bike shop. They are always extremely friendly and helpful. I always tell all my friends and family to come here for any bike related things they may need. Best bike shop in Tulsa imo.
If you’re not white and +40 in age, do not come here. From the time I walked up to the shop until the time I left, these guys would not stop glaring at me like I was a low life. I’m not sure if it is because I am younger than them or if they assume I don’t know much about bikes, (which is true, I was just shopping to start a new hobby.) long story short, I left without spending a dollar here because of the weird looks and the demeaning manner one of them spoke to me when I asked basic questions. Phat Tire received the $2000 I was going to spend here. Customer service goes a long way fellas!
Decided to buy a new bike for fun and exercise. After shopping around I ended up at Bicycles of Tulsa. The owner Scott expertly guided me through determining what bike I wanted. I told him my price range and he never tried to push me towards a more expensive bike. The bike I selected is awesome. It has many stellar features that other bikes in the same price range did not have. I definitely got a super great value at Bicycles of Tulsa. Excellent customer service throughout the enire experience. The advice and expertise I received was invaluable. I definitely recommend this store.
Excellent customer service. Quick, friendly! Highly recommend
Bicycles Of Tulsa is an excellent place for all your cycling needs. Service department does a great job keeping your bike on the road.
I drive 100 miles just to go to this bike shop, that should let everyone know how excellent of a shop it is. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I was looking for a pair of Giant Shuttle Flats. They didnt have any in stock so Scott ordered a couple of different sizes for me to try on. Within three days shoes were in and he had called letting me know. Ended up buying a pair and after riding a couple of hundred miles and even having to walk five mile after blowing a tire LOVE these shoes. They are very comfortable and solid built shoes . Would and have recommend Bikes of Tulsa to anyone looking for a bike or related gear. Over the last year an a half I have bought three bikes and quite a lot of gear to go alone with them. Have nothing but praise for Scott and his crew they are the best.
Joshua was very helpful. He answered all my questions.
Helpful and a fun atmosphere
Todd was great to work with! He as very patient, asked great questions and helped us narrow down the options to find exactly the bikes that were perfect for our type of riding and fit. Great experience and will keep going back!
Fantastic customer service! Nice selection of eBikes.
There was an issue with the bike I had recently bought and the staff went out of theyre way to make sure that it was taken care of. Great service!
I dont know much about road bikes and several gentlemen at this shop helped me get going. I was shown bikes in my budget and measured for fit. They also helped me with the road bike type shifting and clips. All around, they never made me feel like an idiot when it comes to bikes, which I am. I have checked other shops and these guys are the lowest I have found.
By far best shop in town. Been coming to BOT since they first opened almost 30 years ago on 31st.
BOT has been my primary local bike shop since I started riding in Tulsa. Scott and Todd are great people to work with. I have purchased bikes, shoes, clothing, nutrition, custom wheels, tools/parts/cleaning materials.I have been fitted, and had work - tune-ups/repairs/etc done with the shop.I am currently working with Todd on my next gravel bike.Shop is expansive, with several knowledgeable / friendly people on hand to assist. Lots and lots of bikes on display.I highly recommend stopping in if you have any interest in bikes
My son bought a bike earlier this week from here. The manager, Scott was extremely helpful and informative, making what I thought was going to be a stressful situation into pure pleasure! My son got exactly what he wanted despite decreased inventory due to Covid. He loves the bike and we love Bicycles of Tulsa!
I went to the service department with a question about a rear derailleur the service guy named Todd blew me off and said I had a wrong part and should just buy a new one. I understand he may have been busy but he could have been more helpful or asked if I could come back another time. This is the 3rd time I went in there and had poor, condensing interactions with the staff in both the sales and service departments.
I had a request that was out of the ordinary and needed some education on the parts I was there to buy.The staff member seemed very putout by having to assist me, and mocked me for not understanding more about what I was buying.“Anybody who’s not an avid cyclist can stay away.” Was the clear messages I got.
Stephen was awesome! He worked with me to find the right bike and the right gear. I now have a Giant Defy Advanced 2 thanks to Stephen! You cant beat this place if you need a bike, gear, or service. The rest of the staff that I dealt with were also great!
I love Bicycles of Tulsa!
Great service and knowledge on the product (was served by Josh).Purchased new road bike from Bicycles of Tulsa and would recommend to anyone in the market for a new bike.
Excellent bike shop! Great selection of different types of bicycles and various accessories. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Overall great shop!
Roger is awesome!
Great customer service!
Always great service. The only place we go for bikes.
Scott was awesome and a truly wonderful buying experience. Id give my highest recommendations.
Nice place friendly employees just wish the selection was a bit better.
Never coming back! One and done.Tried to ride the bike they fixed for me. Is a piece of trash. It waffles me, they allowed that piece of trashy work left their store. And didnt even care of what they put together!
Once, I was in buying some new cables and housing for my adventure bike and mentioned that I had a set of avid BB7s but was having trouble mounting them to anything because I couldnt find the CPS washers that went to them. The mechanic in the shop found me a complete set of hardware from their take-off parts bin, which was great! When I asked how much I owed him, he said those were going to get tossed anyway, theyre free. Great shop, they love to bike and they love people who want to bike. Cant beat that.
Very professional and friendly staff. I highly recommend!
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have a large selection of whatever, it is you are looking for. Everyone was friendly and the prices are competitive with the industry averages IMO. Ultimately, you get what you pay for, I payed for my products as well as the experpertise and knowledge of the staff, and I will do it again. This store and its staff is my second favorite bicycles store, first place goes to a store my buddy runs. Bicycles of Tulsa is top notch go support your local bicycle shop.
Great selection and awesome prices got my youngest son Mason his first bike! They installed his training wheels on the spot and Stephen the real deal rep even sized my son on bike adjusting the seat and handlebars (which normally might not do Im unsure however!) Great service I will be getting several more bikes right here!!!!!###bestbikesrule
An older mounting bike I owned was stolen out of my garage about 3 months ago and I have been looking to purchase a new one. My brothers both bought new bikes last summer and I had yet to make a decision on what and where to buy a bike. I have visited 3 other bikes shops in town and 1 of them multiple times prior to deciding to go by Bicycles of Tulsa on Saturday. First, I am not an expert on mountain bikes but have done a considerable amount of research over the past 6 months about the various brands, features and functions I wanted in a bike. I walked into BOT and it was totally low key with a large selection and variety of bikes. After walking around the shop I asked a guy working if he could help me and answer some questions about mountain biking. Of all the shops I have been to here in Tulsa, Scott (the guy who helped me) hand downs had the most knowledge of anyone I personally have spoken too. Hes apparently worked at the store for 17 years and his knowledge and expertise are evident when talking to him. He had in depth industry and brand knowledge and truly assisting me in making a purchase that i am completely satisfied with. I would recommend anyone who has been to the downtown, midtown and south side shops stop by and see these guys. Hope this helps someone out there that might be looking for a bike.
Best bike shop in Tulsa!
This place is awesome. Such a huge selection of bikes and accessories. And the staff are so friendly and helpful. They took the time to size me to the bike I wanted, and explained how to recognize what size of bike I need. Then, I got to test drive the bike on the track behind the store before purchasing. Also, after buying a bike from them you get 10% discount everything in the store FOR LIFE. So anytime I need helmets, biking clothes, or anything else this is the place Im going.
I was ready for a new Road bike after 2 yrs on a old aluminum frame hybrid. The staff at this Location were all very knowledgeable and helped me dial in on a great choice.Stephen done a great job on my fit and gave me some great tips on performance .The manager was a big help as well and took care of a minor issue with a tire. They also repaired my wheel from my old bike and had it running truer than when it was new. They have a great selection of clothing and good prices . Thank you Bicycles of Tulsa !!! I really appreciate your quality service.
Scott and all the other guys at BOT are so amazing so friendly and willing to answer any and all questions and they take care of you after buying a bike and even before buying from them they are so full of information and willing to share and they take time to find the right fit of. Ike for you and your budget just an amazing place and have a great selection of bikes and accessories... If your looking to get a bike they are the place to go
Best shop in Tulsa! Drop in and visit with their knowledgeable, friendly staff.
Super helpful staff to find the right bike. When you tell them a budget, they will stick to it. I was new to biking and they explained everything to me to help me find the right bike. Highly recommend giving them a visit if looking for a bike.
Bought a bike secondhand that originated here. Im a mid-level novice, but the guys here are really friendly.Gave me some setup data documents for my suspension and are always able to recommend a product if you ask.Never felt pressure to buy the expensive stuff... They always show you items from the whole price range.
Best damn bike place in town. The guys here are super easy going and will ensure you find a bike that is a good fit for you. Ive bought a bike at another store in town and their service was no where near comparable to these guys. Thank you BOT you rock
Enjoy riding. Good decision
Staff are great. Very helpful.
When I bought my bike in 2015, the staff was very informative & helpful. They figured out exactly what kind of bike I needed, sized me for it & got me in and out quickly & even showed me how to take it apart to fit it in my car. Now, in 2018, I use the bike to get back and forth to work & have never had any issues with it. It’s always worked great & been reliable.Until today...when someone stole it. And I couldn’t find any of my paperwork to find the serial number to give police. I called back the bike store in desperation & Josh sifted through several MONTHS of old bike files & located my transaction with all my bikes info for me!This shop has a real culture of hospitality, knows their stuff & goes above & beyond for their customers.Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a shop to take care of you long after your initial purchase.
This place is awesome i mean they had great costumer service they were very nice and patient .And they even let me delay the pick up of the bike to the next day cause the tornado they also let me know we’re some bike trails we’re and they even sortend the seat for free because it was to big so I definitely recommend buying from here cause it’s awesome .
They always have great deals and they never try to upsell you. Scott is very knowledgeable with gear and bicycles. Highly recommended.
Great service. We came to look at bikes for our kids. The guy working with us was very patient and helpful. Its nice to get such great service. We will be back and will definitely recommend to friends.
Amazing service and knowledge. They truly make you feel comfortable in the decision you are making and guide you to whats best for your current need. Highly recommended
Excellent bike shop and great staff. I told John what I needed and he never tried to upsell me. Highly recommended!
Just wanted to take a moment to write a positive review, because when I came back to have a tire tube replaced, that had busted at the seam the same night I bought some months later, when I am sure it was no longer under warranty they replaced it for me anyways for free and only charged me for labor.Thats a quality business move and wanted to take a moment to repay kindness with kindness
Just bought a Specialized last night from Bicycles of Tulsa. Expertise, knowledge, and any other good quality you would want when buying a bike was there. Id travel an hour to two hours to come give these guys business, was very impressed.
Needed help fixing flat tire on a mountain bike for a 14 year old, we ask to learn how and they were very informative to help! Well be back
Scott was extremely professional, knowledgeable, patient and kind. My fourth bike and by far the best shopping experience yet. Will definitely consider this my home shop for the rest of my time in Tulsa.
Great place to buy a bike if you are a beginner. Scott helped me find the perfect bike for my size and needs. Highly recommend this place!
The most friendly and awesome staff that really knows their stuff!! They arent pushy nor do they try to sell stuff you dont need! Always go above and beyond!! Best bike shop by far!!
Ive bought several bikes over the years at Bicycles of Tulsa dating back to 2007. Ive bought my wifes bike, kids bike, and then several for myself as Ive upgraded both road bike and mountain bikes. The staff is very professional there and offer good advice to steer you in the right direction for your budget and skill. They keep a good stock of accessories and parts so Im able to shop local vs the internet and actually walk out with the merchandise. I highly recommend them for anyone considering a cycling purchase.
Great shop with lots of selection and helpful staff. They are friendly and will chat with you about whatever you want to chat about, as well as helping you find what you need. When you buy a new bike, they get it setup to fit your body and riding style, and offer you discounts on parts and service as a new customer.I started going to them a few years ago after needing to replace an older bike, even though they are literally all the way across town from me, its worth the drive every time.Take the time to walk the shop, they pack a ton of bikes, parts, accessories and more into the building. If you just walk in and hit the sales counter, you are missing about 75% of their products. If you are a newbie, tell them so, they will guide you to the right bike or part. If you are experienced, they will gauge your experience level and be there to help you regardless.I can definitely recommend them as the place to go for no pressure and high level of knowledge. Most of the guys who work there ride from BMX, to road bikes, to mountain bikes to fat bikes, so someone there will have an answer for you. And unlike some other shops in town which cater to the snobbier bike crowd, you wont feel like unwelcome.Good place, good prices, good selection and great people.
Im sorry that I bothered you guys today when I came in your store and tried to make small talk about one of your vintage bicycles. Maybe yall were just hangry because it was almost 2 and no one had gone on a hamburger run yet.Regardless, when a place of business makes me feel awkward; I tend to not come back. Ill be sure and not bother you guys again, and take all my business somewhere else.
Knowledgeable, friendly staff and a huge inventory.
I have bought several bikes from this shop and would recommend them, but they are not wearing masks or taking any social distancing precautions.
Have spent tons of bucks in this place on one of my passions. Have purchased cycling shoes, helmet, pump, tires, tubes, water bottles, hydration stuff, and other goodies. Its a large store and they have a lot to look at and choose from. Would recommend.
The only place around that had my size of shoe. They also took the time to talk bikes with me. Most shops seem to busy to take the time to have a conversation.
This is actually a kid who was with my grandpa today and bought a new bike and I have not felt anything smoother and slicker. I bought a dark charcoal gray and a black bike.👌😍😃😆😁🚴🏻
Very knowledgable and helpful folks. Got a great deal on a great bike, and Ive never ridden better!
Just went by the store looking for a new bike. A decent one cost about $2000. Wandered the store for 15 minutes and no one behind the counter bothered to come over to help me. Guess I will be spending my money elsewhere.
Todd is the best mechanic in town, by far. Scott is always ready to help and get you the best deal. Everybody is super friendly.
I really enjoyed the experience I had. Stephen was super friendly, not pushy, answered all of my questions and I didnt feel rushed. No high pressure sales. He gave me straight up advice not a sales pitch. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in me making a decision on the right bike. I am a novice, recreational rider, but I felt like I was just as important a customer as the pro. Definitely made a great impression on me. Thats where I spend my money for sure!
Pricey. Expensive. Best bicycles in Tulsa. Excellent service. For serious bikers.
Great place to get all ypur biking needs.
The know there stuff. Would recommend anyone to go there.
