Issues from sales, installation to service/repair DON’T DO IT-Go elsewhere.We purchased our pool & hot tub May 2019. Due to numerous issues with their scheduling, the hot tub wasn’t installed until late July and the pool was installed in September. Granted the rain was the main issue for delay, our qualm was the terrible time with them communicating with us. S**h never indicated when we were signing the contract that there was such a delay for installations. He got his sale/commission so was done. When they finally began installing the pool, numerous parts were damaged including the liner being stepped on causing multiple 6” to 1’ deep holes the liner sunk into in various areas. Galaxy denied our request to fix the liner which makes it difficult the vacuum and gets the automatic vacuum we purchased from them impossible to utilize. They did replace a couple of the side panels that were damaged but not all of them leaving us with damaged panels still. They refused to fix the remainder of them. We were never advised that the ionization system has to be replaced every year but was sold on that specific system because of the simplicity and cost saving features. WRONG. It costs more!In regards to our hot tub, we were never advised that a $99 bulb would have to be replaced annually. Additionally, we were never advised we would have to pay $99 for a service call to which the part is covered under warranty. The part costs $30 but yet if I replace myself, it voids my warranty. Seems like a nice scam they have going there.When attempting to speak with their Service Department, they think it’s funny and blatantly laugh that a customer they screwed over is frustrated and wants them to do better. I’ve got over $18,000 worth of equipment in our back yard that sole purpose was to bring relaxation yet has caused more stress than worth. I’ve requested to speak with the owner Ronak Shah, but was declined from the General Manager, Br*d. If I had it to do over, I would let them come get the pool and hot tub and go somewhere else. That’s how bad their customer service is!
I have had such a pleasure from start to finish working with Drew, Stephanie and Amanda! Amanda has been the most understanding superstar that I could have worked with! She is attentive, positive, collaborative and always replies to every text I have sent her! I had a couple of items that happened, but Amanda took are of everything! A little leak and she sent someone out immediately! We purchased a above ground pool and the wait due to Covid was well worth it! I appreciate all the attention and will recommend them to anyone that is looking for a pool! Or spa! We are very happy with our purchase!
Galaxy Home Recreation was highly professional and friendly throughout the process of our purchase of a Jaccuzi hot tub. The sales staff, Blake Harrison, was clear and helpful with details related to tub sizes, function and features and worked out purchase details to our satisfaction. The team of installers were on-time, did a quick and thorough set-up on our patio and fully explained the various operational features of the tub. They also had to return and replace a component on the tub later in the week, but that all went smoothly. Followup with the hot tub and pool school was an added valuable feature that gave us excellent guidance in the management of hot tub chemicals and maintenance. Overall, our experience with Galaxy was excellent; we would recommend them to anyone interested in tub and pool purchase.
Wife and I purchased a hot tub last week. We were so happy to have it delivered. On day two I turned all the jets on and found that one of the control valves was broken and popped out. We were bummed to say the least. But we call Galaxy and with in a day, being we found the problem at 4:30 in the afternoon on a friday, they came out and fixed the problem. They ever took extra time to talk to the wife and I about other things we had questions about. The experience was nice felt like we gained a friend. I will definitely be back for our next purchase.
It was excellent from the purchase to the installation. Ty was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. He answered all of our questions and allowed us to take our time making a decision.Once we did decide, the installation team was amazing. They communicated every step of the way and were extremely helpful and professional.We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience.
I called Galaxy to order a new net for granddaughters trampoline that was a couple of years old. They told me it may be under warranty and filed a claim for me. A couple of days later I had a new net on the way from the manufacturer. The installer was very professional and made sure everything was changed out correctly. I would recommend Galaxy for anyone looking for recreational items.
Had the best customer service! Definitely very friendly atmosphere. The sales woman explained everything in detail about the above ground pools and got us in and out quickly. There was no pressure to purchase specific pools she let us decide for ourselves. Also no hidden gimmicks definitely will recommend Galaxy to friends and family. Cant wait to have our pool installed.

We had a positive experience with the purchase of our Sundance Optima. Our salesman, Seth Cox, was very helpful and answered many questions. We had a smooth purchase process and installation. Seth recommended an outstanding and experienced electrician, Wes Rapp, who scheduled promptly and did exactly what we needed. The delivery team worked in bitter cold conditions but did a superb job setting up our tub. When one panel was damaged, they owned it and repaired it with a new panel within a couple of weeks, which was the time it took to get it from the manufacturer.We love our Optima. Galaxy made it happen and we are happy.
Purchased a nice patio furniture set with table and built in fire pit. Staff was extremely nice and helpful during the selection process of the different brands and styles to select from. Best pricing and quality items that I found. I will definitely shop here again for any future outdoor furniture/equipment needs that I might have. Check them out..........you will not be disappointed.
Edie is fantastic!! She helped us through our home theater chairs installations. When we ran into a snag (that was not her fault) she kept on it to make sure we were satisfied! Shes super helpful and knowledgeable. Store has a lot of variety of products and we had a good experience there.
My husband and I went to Galaxy to purchase a hot tub. They had a rather large selection and the salesman, Jim I believe, was very helpful in answering all our random questions. Never having owned a hot tub before we really had no idea what exactly we were looking for. We purchased one that day, a Thursday, and they had it delivered and setup the next Monday. I was very impressed that they were able to deliver it so quickly. It was a very good experience over all and we are extremely happy with our purchase.

I recently visited Galaxy to see their selection of Theatre seating on sale. Nemisha waited on us and was very helpful and knowledgeable. We made the purchase and received the furniture. We purchased a floor model which needed an adjustment and they immediately sent their guys out to provide great customer service. I find it rare to have folks do what they say unfortunately, however Galaxy did provide the service that should be expected. I would certainly recommend them to my family and friends.
I walked into Galaxy to look for a new pool table for our game room. Much to my delight they had a wide selection and knowledgeable sales staff. I ended up getting a great deal on a Spectrum II. They arrived on time to deliver and install the pool table. The delivery men were efficient with the install and courteous as to not damage any furniture in the house. When they left I took a level and checked every angle and they had set it up perfectly.I would recommend Galaxy to anyone looking to upgrade/start their game room.
Have had some issues with pumps in both my new hot tub AND swimming pool. However, they return time and again until they get the systems running correctly. VERY happy with their service AFTER the sale. I recommend Galaxy!
Went here to get a good quality outdoor play set for my kids without The cost of some brand names. They had good high quality options literally a few thousand $ cheaper than competitors. Also installation in included- not another $1000.Had lots of nice outdoor furniture and will probably go back for this there as well.
I had been in the market for a hot tub for quite some time. After doing all of my research, and visiting several different stores, I finally made the decision to purchase from Galaxy. I got the best price here, and the customer service was phenomenal. Next time I am in the market for another recreational item, I will definitely be coming back to Galaxy!
Bought my Edison hot tub about four months ago,had to have a faulty temp sensor replaced but Galaxy did a great job getting it replaced and getting us soaking again. Definitely recommend them.
Since we moved into our house a few years ago we had talked about getting a hot tub since the breaker box and pad were already there. We purchased ours at the 2019 home and garden show. The sales people were all nice and willing to answer all our questions and help pick the right size we were looking for. The day of the delivery comes and it wasn’t the easiest install, had to take a bit of the fence off and deal with a big slope. However the delivery guys were all nice even though they were a little stressed about the slope. Install went off with out a hitch. There was a couple scuffs but they have been really helpful and making sure that they are getting repaired. Have to say it’s been one the best purchases that we have made and couldn’t be more happy.
My husband and I looked up this store and found great reviews on the service. First place we went and we found the perfect hot tub for us! Dee was very helpful and everyone very welcoming. We compared this store to another in town and by far we are happy with this stores selection, service, quality, and price!
We visited the Tulsa location on a Saturday afternoon and was greeted with a positive ambitious vibe. The products speak for themselves and after a little negotiation, we made our purchase. We love the 2 wicker Renaissance chairs that rock and swivel, they are perfect for our patio and hope to add more of the collection soon.

I purchased a swim spa from Galaxy. When the spa was shipped from the mfg. it was missing some of the swivel jets, and had the wrong spa cover. Galaxy was right on top of the situation; got everything corrected and installed. I highly recommend purchasing from Galaxy. Call Ty the Sales Manager. He took great care of me.

Have been trying to get someone out to service a Jacuzzi bought from there for over a week now. Calling for my mother who works nights. Was told a day, passed the information on to her, no one showed up. Have called and left messages and never get a call back. Convenient how the guy that schedules is never available to answer phone and am always forced to leave a voicemail.
The installation is at their convenience. No personal contact. They do it all via texting. The installers barely speak english so you get a lot of blank stares and head nods when you ask a question. The service after the fact is basically non existent. No one answered questions. Issues with the installation??? They have you contact the installers that don’t speak english. Thank goodness for google. Otherwise I would be SOL...oh and “no we don’t have the chemicals you need to neutralize your water” I don’t know if another pool company in Tulsa is better or not but galaxy service department is not going to be a great deal of help after the sale.After the reply.Your man Jake is the one that had me contact the installers and is actually a bit pompous and not much help and also...nope ya didn’t have the chemicals I went to galaxy to get help and they as sold us stuff “cause you’re gonna need it next year and no sorry we don’t have the ones you need now.” I had to go to two different places that day because no you don’t stock everything.
We have had a wonderful experience so far. Worked with Ty over 6 months ago when beginning our hot tub search. He is so knowledgeable and helpful. No high pressure sales at all. Gave us all the information we needed. No one else could beat the customer service and we just purchased a Sundance hot tub. He gave us a great deal and went out of his way to accommodate our needs. They will hold it for us until our patio is finished. I did extensive research on hot tubs and you really need to buy it local where you will have service when you need it. Galaxy has been in business over twenty years and has an excellent service reputation. We are extremely pleased with them - especially Ty!

I would like to share the experience I had with Galaxy Home Recreation with the purchase of my 30 foot round swimming pool.I had been promising my children to get a pool for three or four years and always ended up getting a small inflatable/disposable pool. This year I finally decided to make good on those promises so after doing some research on the Internet of some local pool companies and comparison price shopping via phone calls and decided to go with Galaxy Home Recreation so I called Seth back a few days later and explained to him the promise I had made to my kids and I would really like to get a pool installed as quick as possible so we could enjoy the fall swim season so he laid out the process and installation timeframe and told me he would do everything in his power to get us fit into the schedule and hopefully have us installed within 30 days but my children were swimming in our pool in less than two weeks! My kids were so excited! Seth, combined with the installer Ben and his crew, were so professional and I could not be happier, nor could my kids be happier, with the gorgeous pool we ended up with!I cannot end without mentioning Sammie in the service department as she made my experience of bringing my water samples into her and all of the crew that would assist me and made it a breeze and so easy to keep my chemicals at their correct levels in the pool and Tim was also awesome in his knowledge when I had questions being a first-time pool owner!Lastly I would like to think Ty, the Owners and everyone at Galaxy Home Recreationfor ALL you have done for, not only making our new pool an awesome family gathering oasis, but for also being a hole sponsor at my late daughters’ Inaugural benefit golf tournament!These folks at Galaxy Home Recreation are first class in my book and I highly recommend them to anyone!Thank you ALL for an awesome pool and summer!!!

Bought a 8k dollar hot tub from these people and they damaged the acrylic on the installation of it, have pictures of there employees installing it with the damage on the tub which they are disputing but will come fix for 500 bucks. Have pictures and video of this guess next step is to get a lawyer and file a complaint with better business bureau, have to fight them on a tub that should be pristine condition for the price. Sad that when you spend this kinda of money to have to fight to get it right.
We bought our Catalina Malibu swim spa from Galaxy Home Recreation and had it installed and delivered in February 2014. All the staff at Galaxy are courteous and professional. They returned our phone calls, texts, and emails quickly and did not get frustrated with our inexperienced questions. The Galaxy technician was patient and explained thoroughly the operating instructions of the spa during the installation. He repeatedly said if we have any questions to call him personally or come by the Galaxy store. We believe this will be a long term relationship with Galaxy for spa supplies and other family recreational purchases.
Great experience purchasing a Nordic spa. No pressure and the staff ready to answer all my questions. Cant wait for the weather to improve so we can get it home.

This has been a nightmare from day two! The first day with Seth in the showroom was fine, great guy!Jake sent a crew out that said our professionally level and readied spot was not good enough and that it would cost us $750 on top of everything for them to level it. We were rightfully upset and the worker didnt care, but offered to do it for $500. With a smug look he said you can just cancel the order, but it will cost you a 20% for restocking. (Looking back I wish I would have done this. It would have cost me $1600 instead the $10,000 it has)That day they tore up our yard like you wouldnt believe. (Will share pictures for anyone that is interested) They start by putting the base down of the pool structure and said they would be back Monday. (This was Saturday about 7pm). They didnt come back Monday and Tuesday we called to ask what happen but the office was off no help to us. I also explained to the office person our concerns with the levelness of the base. We did however get a text message from Jake that the crew would be out Thursday to finish.They showed up Thursday to finish and did not fix the part we told the office about that was not level. We started to fill the pool and the pump was leaking water out almost as fast as we could put it in. The uprights(side posts) were leaning in on one side and leaning out on the other. The pump was not screwed to the platform, but had a screw halfway started and the base around it was all scratched up like a small child tried to screw it in with the wrong tool. (I have pictures if anyone wants to see them) There was also no shut off valve on the discharge side so we couldnt shut the water flow off to do anything on the pump without losing even more water. The ionizer they talked us into including in our package hasnt worked since day one either, running up our chemical cost astronomically.We called and called and Jake finally sent group of guys that he said was his best guys, but they said this was their first summer doing pools and they were working construction before. These are the guys that shook their head and said the first group didnt put a seal on the pump which was why the water was flowing out. They put a seal on and put ONE of four screws in our pump and left.I didnt feel the pool was safe since the sides were leaning in and out and they said to fix the sides we would have to drain the pool. They could have avoided this had they just listen to me in the beginning about the unlevel base. Jake provided me with a letter saying it was safe to swim in and they would come out after swim season. (Not holding my breath) I also told him about missing hardware to our ladder system. (Remember this)By this time I am tired of having to call these people to finish what we already paid for and I left a one star review on Google. Jake called me within minutes!!! He ask what the problem was and why would o leave a one start review. So I told him that it was the EXACT SAME ISSUES YOU AND I ALREADY SPOKE ABOUT THAT YOU SAID WOULD BE FIXED BUT HAVENT!Jake promised another group of guys would come out and replace the ionizer ASAP. Within a few daysthey put a shut off on the discharge side. They said they didnt know anything about the ionizers. The company that makes their ionizer has a website that doesnt work and after many more phone calls back and forth Jake NEVER replaced our ionizer and basically told is they cant get in touch with THEIR company that makes them and they dont know how they work either! They also tried to tell us that the missing ladder hardware wasnt supposed to be in there, even though the instructions they gave us clearly states that it should. I have pictures of this too. I had to supply screws for the ladder after already buying the screws from Galaxy.BUYER BEWARE!!! Do not do business with this company! I am willing to share my pictures and experience with any perspective pool buyers if you will call me directly. I have tons of pictures!If I could leave a no star review I would.
Love the new store and great staff! This is a nice convenient location for us. We have been shopping at Galaxy for years so we were thrilled that they opened a location out south!!!

Dont get duped by this place. When your way overpriced 10 year warrenty furniture falls apart after 1 year, they will charge you to replace it.

I found this store on Facebook market place and began speaking with Nate in the Broken Arrow Store. He was efficient with responding back and very patient. I explained we were in Arkansas and would be over in a few weeks. This place is open on Sunday which is the bomb. Go here and contact Nate he made us an awesome deal and actually saved us 1000’s$+. Walked in, bought the hot tub, took about 3 weeks for delivery, installed the hot tub and showed me some pointers how to use it. Easy purchase. Would recommend.
When we bought our pool from Galaxy everything except the sand was to be covered put the folks installing the pool charged us over 300 dollars cash to do a back fill around a 18 foot pool and put shut off valves[2] to and from the pool. If you buy from this company watch out for those extra charges when they install. They took advantage of us. My wife is the one who took care of all this because I wasnt available. If I had been there I would have ran there butts off my property and gotten a refund before they tried to install the pool! Never Again!!!
We purchased a hot tub from Galaxy in the fall. There were a couple of minor problems with it, but their service team was excellent and got everything working correctly. We are pleased with the product and the service. I would recommend Galaxy.

This is by far the worst experience in customer service I have ever had. Purchased out door furniture 30 days ago, and still do not have my furniture. Each time I call I get promises and no follow up action. Will tell all I know about the very poor service.
We had a pool installed today through galaxy by jeff johnson from midwest pools great group of guys very professional ive never seen a pool go up so quickly and comw out exactly how we asked they also made sure everything was perfect and cleaned up in thw end would definetly recommend these guys great work thank you.

I filled out sign application over a month ago and went to an interview about 2 weeks later after playing phone tag with the hiring manager. Just called again today and was told he hasnt had time to make a decision. Im sorry a whole month is plenty of time to make a decision not to mention I keep seeing new hiring ads on a regular basis. So apparently these guys are liars and just lazy. Doesnt sound like a company I would like to work for or do business with. I would tread carefully with this place.

I made one phone call to Galaxy, one week later we have a beautiful hot tub on our deck! We live in southeast Kansas and searched many places in MO, KS and Ok for the perfect spa. Ranok made us the best deal with delivery and set-up by several hundred dollars; plus the confidence of a reputal business and name brand tub!
I have never in my life had a worse experience with customer service than I have had with Galaxy. I own two businesses and if I ran them like Galaxy did with me, they would have closed within 6 months.We purchased a play set from Galaxy in November 2016. We were told that it would be delivered and built in our backyard before Christmas. The play set was delivered a few days before Christmas but the chains were wrong for all of the parts (swings and teeter-totter). I was told that they would be getting us new chains but they would not be here before Christmas. My 2-year old was still excited that he could use the slide, so it wasnt a big deal.Skip ahead to the end of January and I still had not heard anything from Galaxy! I called the store and they told me that it was strange because the parts should have been delivered to my house (total news to me). They told me they would call me back when they figured out what was going on. This continued for another month (me calling them, never did they initiate a call). Eventually I called and told them to come pick up the play set and refund my money (because it had been three months and the playset wasnt complete). The manager told me he couldnt refund my money. This is when I asked to speak to the owner. He then told me the owner was not in and they would call me. I did receive a phone call but it ended up NOT being the owner but the person that had put the play set together. He apologized for the store, told me he was on his way to my house to fix the chains and took all of the blame. I explained to him that it wasnt just that it wasnt fixed, it was the extreme lack of customer service. I told him that I still wanted someone to pick up the play set and I would take my business elsewhere. The manager called me back again and I told him how ridiculous it was that I have had a play set in my backyard for over THREE months that my child could not use. No apology, no customer service and no offer of any kind of refund at this point. He eventually offered to refund me the extra pieces that we had purchased for our swing set which later we found out should have never been sold with our play set and thats the reason the chains didnt work. When the man arrived to fix the chains it was pitch dark outside. He did not have new chains so he ended up cutting the neoprene off the chains to make it work. It is very obvious that the parts are not the right ones but at least my child can use it. Whenever my child gets bigger we will have to manually strip the neoprene from the chains to get the swings and attachments to work.A few weeks went by and we still had not received our partial refund. I called back up to Galaxy where eventually the manager called me back. He told me he wasnt sure why but it didnt go through. This continued for another month, every couple of weeks I called up and he again would try and refund my money. I still had NO refund by St. Patricks Day! I eventually received a refund in April and this was with me calling every couple of weeks, again no call from Galaxy. During this process the tarp on the fort of the play set had already ripped off on one side. They told me there was a warranty and that I would be getting a new one. I specifically asked if someone would call me when it was ready and they assured me they would. I knew that this was going to be another horrible customer experience but I thought no way after all of this will they not get this fixed. I was WRONG! It is June 30th and I am still waiting for someone to replace the tarp....I will never recommend anyone to this store and will always shop somewhere else. I should have made them remove the awful play set from our backyard. I always try to shop local but sadly I could have gotten a better experience at Wal-Mart.
I used to work for Galaxy Home Recreation til 2004 and I can say from my own experience that the staff is well diversed in its knowledge of the merchandise that it sells, and they are always curtious and friendly to their customers

This has been the worst experience ever first off going to install etc soon just too put us off finally got a date the day came and gone then going to do it yet another time and once again came and went we finally got the pool installed our plug for our pump is missing chemicals we bought and the list goes on and on not to mention the installers left a huge mess trash boxes, dirt piles etc buyer beware!

We want to give a 10 to your service man Chris as we had a major manufacturing defect with our recent purchase and he stayed with it and after them until the problem was solved.
Yeah they game to install my pool that I bought 15 by 30 they took out a stump but tell him not to bother with in the process they rip my sewer lineup didnt bother to tell me 3 weeks later I find out when My sewer backup into my houseThem they tell you the They are not responsible for any damages least they could do is tell us you before they bury it backup
They dont have anything for above ground pools. Dont bother. They arent helpful unless ur buying their products.
