Our go-to place in Tulsa for gluten free treats, the selection is mind blowing to this celiac! Every time were there Im impressed, theyve never disappointed! Looking forward to our next visit!
The staff here are always pleasant and helpful, I have a few allergies and theyre always happy to help me find the best thing for me. They have coffee, sandwiches, and bakery items. Ive tried quite a few things and Ive never been disappointed. The seating is comfortable with a good selection of furniture and some larger tables in case youre coming with a group or family. If youre looking for some great tasting treats and coffee, this is the spot.
Glad i gave this place a second chance. Service is friendly. Iced oat latte is creamy and perfect to get through an afternoon of focused work or a nice chat with a friend. My seasonal favorite is the pumpkin cookie. I prefer the version they make that has the pumpkin resting on top of the cookie right under the icing. Although the one I had yesterday had icing only, it was a nice treat- not too sweet or overpowering. Would love to experience what they do with ginger. This is one of those places where you can taste the creativity behind the food. I appreciate that. Oh and they have wifi.
This place is my favorite Coffee House, the staff is friendly the vibe is chill with a mixture of folks from all ages. The owner is so nice he came around to each customer and welcomed them. And dont get me started on the food AND desserts yummy. So if you want a great cup of coffee good eats and great conversation stop on in and sit a spell, you will not be disappointed.
Been coming here since 2014; the plain drip coffee is excellent and bottomless.
Coffee shops are the one thing no matter where you go no matter what city, you will find ones that make slow down and enjoy the world. This place does just that. It checks off everything on the quaint list and the array they have makes some great combinations with brews and baked goods. And that is a Strawberry Cheesecake.
Best place for decaf coffee, and anything gluten free you could want! I am obsessed with their chocolate pie because it’s rare I find desserts compliant with my allergies but this one I’ve gotten numerous times and there is never a regret. And the service is always good!
Came for all the good reviews. Coffee was good but service was horrible, asked for hot latte for dine in. I wanted to experience the full experience with the coffee in a cup, explained to her that it was for dine in and I wanted my coffee in a cup just like the pics with the design and everything. She took my coffee cup put it in a cup and heated up in the microwave ! She stated they will be closing soon and we needed to be done by closing time. No biggie but please dont try to give me hot milk and charge me 6 dollars for coffee when I can heat up milk at home and have the sake results and on top of everything be rude about it. !
Good coffee and a wide variety of awesome pastries! This place has plenty of room to hang out either inside or outside, they even have a outdoor fireplace for when it gets chilly.
Coffee was above average and the atmosphere was funky, pleasant, and upbeat. Nice looking pastry cabinet, but I didn’t try anything . Baristas were friendly. I’d definitely go back.
Its nice to have a place to go to that offers both vegan and gluten-free bakery items. The almond cherry cookie was delicious! I love that almond milk is an option for cream for my coffee. I enjoyed sitting outside, visiting and just enjoying the quietness of such an intriguing area of town. Been twice in two days!
Ordered iced latte a few times. Taste isnt consistent. Many times its just too much milk. Maybe coffee beans are not the same? Or recipe needs modification?Atmosphere is great but I come here for coffee. If the coffee quality goes down like this, I am not sure If Im gonna come back.Oh, and there was just too much coffee ground in the drink.
Visiting out of town and walked to this quaint shop from my Airbnb. The two ladies working the counter was so friendly. I ordered the cherry pie and the original cheesecake. There cherry pie was just okay. I was for sweeter and more yard taste. However the cheesecake more than made up for the lack on the cherry pie. I love cheesecake. I sample it from every menu that I see that offers it. I have to say that the cheesecake was the best cheesecake Ive ever had.It has such a rich flavor and a firm texture.I saw one of the ladies making a green. concoction behind the counter. Inquired in what it was and she explained what she was making and the ingredients used. She offered a taste to see what I thought. I appreciated the attention and the education. Its a super cute and warm place to sit and read a bookNext time Im in town Ill definitely be back.
We were traveling through Oklahoma on vacation and stopped at Coffeehouse on Cherry Street. We ordered food and coffee and they gave us a table number. Logically, this means they bring your order to you, right? They brought us our food and we asked about the muffin and coffee - the nice young man said we pick that up inside at the bar. Right after he said that, the woman who took our order came outside angry and being incredibly rude with our drinks and scolded us for not picking it up inside. When we asked about our muffin she angrily said “IT’S ON THE BAR!”. I feel like she could have told us where to wait for our order when we ordered at the register and told her we were sitting outside (and paid almost $50 for a small mediocre breakfast and two less than mediocre coffees). It’s no big deal as we’re continuing our travels and will never be back…but based on all the other positive reviews, it appears the young lady working the register today could use some basic customer service training to enhance their flow of service and not make customers feel stupid for not knowing what they couldn’t possibly know. And we’re pretty laid back people who don’t complain or leave bad reviews…99.9% of the time. That should tell you how unpleasant our experience was. 8/1/2021
Counter help was good. Didnt have decafe. Allowed us to order and take out because they were closing. Could have given 4 stars
This place used to be really great. I loved the staff, the food and the coffee and I went multiple times a week.. They got a entirely new staff like mid pandemic and I have not enjoyed the service since. There have been numerous times where they were rude to me or rolled their eyes at my requests. Today I asked if they had muffins ready and they said they were on the cooling rack and I said oh okay, I’ll come back then. It wasn’t a big deal and I was going to run an errand while they cooled off. As I was walking out one of the employees, short more heavy set girl with brown hair, said in a very rude tone “we said they’re cooling off” and so I was like “oh isnt that going to be a few minutes?” I thought pastries needed time to cool off before serving or at least that was my experience when making pastries in restaurants and she said, again very rudely, “no they’re cooling off. They’re ready.” I thought about waiting but because of her tone I just basically told her never mind and that I didn’t like her tone and walked out. You just don’t talk to or treat customers like that. I’m really sad with what has happened to this place. I’ve been going there since high school but won’t be going back anymore.
One of my go to places for good tasting food. They have a large gluten-free selection for pastries and breakfast. Outside eating was great.
Ive tried a bunch of coffee places in Tulsa. This is the only coffee house Ive been that knows how to make an actual macchiato... and a GOOD one! Thanks for being a coffee oasis (and NOT another Starbucks clone).
The coffee was amazing, we missed breakfast tho and the panini sandwiches were pretty subpar. Would’ve been a great place still if it wasn’t for the attitude the girl in the front had the entire time we were ordering. She should seriously work on her customer service. I came in around noon, Saturday oct 16th and i feel like whoever was working the register could use some serious coaching.
Came here with a friend for the first time, I had always heard about it and always wanted to come. It has always been busy when I drove by and it was also busy when I went. Parking was a big hard to find and maneuver into a spot. The decor and aesthetic was homy, comfortable and playful with dimmed lights and a very conversational and loud. Seating was eclectic. Staff very friendly, lots of options for sweet coffee drinks, original drinks. Overall my experience here was great, just small/busy and can get crowded, but that’s definitely not a downside for some people! Great coffee in Tulsa!
Lots of gluten free baked goods and great coffee. This is one of my favorite coffee houses.
Cute coffee shop with plenty of food and drink choices! Prices are a bit on the higher side and my food tasted like it had been in the fridge all day (not fresh). Would come back again purely for the atmosphere.EDIT: owner was concerned over my dry cake comments and made up for it! What a great guy. Will for sure come back.
The coffee is great but the desserts are amazing! The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. This is our favorite place to go on Cherry Street!
Nice cozy atmosphere. Good coffee and excellent dessert
The atmosphere is amazing. Vibes are impeccable. Prices for coffees are very reasonable, pastries and desserts are amazing. Great place to hang and study.
Within a short walk the Coffee House of Cherry Street has a great selection of coffees, teas, baked goods, and they can quickly whip up breakfast and lunch items.Lots of different seating accommodations both indoor and out. There is an outdoor fireplace too.Service is make to order, so a little patience is helpful. Staff is friendly and easy to talk to.
Cute small coffee shop! Their iced chai is amazing! Customer service could’ve been better, but it was a pleasant experience overall. Employees were not wearing masks, so that was a disappointment, considering they’re making food/drinks.
Coffee was good. Staff friendly.. all the pastrys were amazing. Atmosphere was just ok a bit too random, just not the right vibe. lots of potential yet it just feels a bit dark. I do frequent coffee shops, all across the state and country.
Oh. My. Goodness. This place is so lovely and adorable. The coffee and sweets are top notch quality and the staff are friendly and know their stuff. They’ve got a nice variety of pastries and coffees to choose from. We went on a whim and there was a lady reciting a poem she wrote about her cats. It was perfect. We have been here since and it’s been great each time. Quaint and happy little place. We love it.
Love majority of their sweets/ desserts just a bit pricey. Gluten free is their middle name! All but 1 or 2 things cakes/pies are gluten free and clearly labeled. Theres 1 cake in particular that sells out daily by the slice or has everytime Ive tried to get my hands on one. Ive attempted 3 times now to order an entire cake of this. Once got told it will need a wk notice, 2nd time told no they arent taking any special orders, now 3rd time..I need 48 hr notice. Umm yall are making this exact cake tmw and charging 75.00 for a cake (special order) with 10 slices and having to wait minimum of 48 hrs is a bit ridiculous.
This is a must go to if you are in the area and like 1. Coffee but 2. Desserts. This place a large assortment of very good desserts and a lot of them are gluten free!! Not only do they have a huge selection of sweets to eat but also a nice breakfast menu as well. If you are going on a weekend, expect a line because this place does get crowded a lot just because they are soooooo good!!
People! Stop what you are doing and listen. If you are within 26 thousand miles from Tulsa OK. I mandate that you must go here. Mandate. So good. GF heaven.
Absolutely delicious coffee and desserts and most of them are gluten free. Win win❣️
Best coffee shop, hands down! Every time I make a trip to Tulsa this is a MUST and I always make a point to fit it into my schedule. The owners are precious and their staff are always smiling and friendly. Their coffee is delicious and if you have a sweet tooth you definitely want to stop. Most of their desserts are gluten free and you would never know. Highly recommend this cute little coffee shop for not only the coffee and dessert but the atmosphere as well!
Great coffee and tea. Unfriendly customer service. Menu breakfast items were not good, and they don’t allow substitutions even when the item is less expensive, like egg or avocado instead of meat. Potatoes were under seasoned and under cooked. Croissant on breakfast sandwich was old and stale, crumbled into dust over my plate. They’ve been around long enough that there’s really no excuse for these problems.
I love their chai lattes and quiche!
For a local coffee shop/cafe/hangout to be this strong for this many years -- 15 of them -- is a testament to how they care for their customers and provide a warm, inviting environment to sit a spell. My go-to is a slice of their classic peanut butter pie and a cappuccino.Dont stop and dont ever go away!
Had a great time good latte no bake cookie listened to some nice singers ( loved the retention of Zombie) heard some poetry.was hoping for a comedian so didnt stay as long as I planned.but nice place
This should be the next place you try for brunch on Sunday. Menu is short and sweet, but quality all around. Do not sleep on the Gluten Free waffles!! Great coffee, great food, and great vibes!
Decent service. No seasoning on food! Old fruit. No flavor in the coffee.
The pie is amazing, and the atmosphere is really cool. We love to find these little gems when we travel, we will definitely be back when we come through this area again
The Witches brew latte was very taste!
Great assortment or pastries and snacks. The raspberry lemon bar today does not disappoint. The drinks are well made. I just moved to Tulsa and started going to coffee shops after a 10 years of not trying anything but commercial chains. The inside is cozy, clean and well kept. Ill definitely be back.
Great service, great coffee. Food prices seem a little high, for what you get, but overall, very cool place, with fast service and great coffee.
Seating can be a little tough bit they have the friendliest staff, most delicious pastries, and best coffee in town.
I can always count on CHOCS to put out an EXCELLENT Product. Pumpkin Muffins are the BEST in Tulsa!! 🥰
Great coffee! Love the vegan tacos!!
LOVE this place. Wonderful pastries, cakes, & cookies. Coffee is out if this world with a great coffee shop vibe.
Had a awesome experience here, trying to get out and explore more coffee shops and such and was pleased with my first selection!! Very Friendly and attentive staff and wonderful tea and food! Loved sitting and enjoying the artwork on the walls from local artists!! Will come again!
Definitely the best breakfast spot I have found in the Tulsa Area that combines good espresso style coffees and breakfast. This is my go to breakfast spot when Im traveling through Tulsa. I had the breakfast scrambler, cinnamon roll, and a Large Latte. The cinnamon roll was the best I have had in a long time. The coffee was strong, smooth, and one of the best. The scrambler was delicious and filling. The building is small but there is outside seating as well and when we were there in the morning they had a small fire outside.
Oh my geesh!! Get the quiche!! Best Ive ever had. Awesome breakfast, delicious dirty chai, great staff - genuinely friendly, I really enjoyed my time at this coffee shop 💗
Great coffee and food. Friendly staff.
Pricey, but good. I recommend their banana chocolate chip muffins.
Beautiful and cozy Coffee House on Cherry Street is a must visit for the relaxed atmosphere and amazing pies.
Cold quiche and unwashed dirty fruit made for a less than stellar experience.
Great coffee. Friendly staff
The staff here are outstanding, funny, helpful and professional all at the same time! Very accommodating and informative.Food is great, good portions and affordable. Breakfast ends at noon as well so its great to get a late start on the day.I recommend this place to work, hang out, grab a quick coffee or sandwich, all the while leaving with a smile.
Chill atmosphere/aesthetic and delicious desserts!
Always looking for a private owned coffee house that has good coffee, with atmosphere. This little shop fits the bill. Excellent coffee. Pastries tasty. Staff very friendly. Love the antique kneading table thats on display. Very eclectic shop. Well worth the trip.
A nice coffee shop with good coffee and good food! I like it!
Still my favorite coffee shop, but I have to frequent more budget-friendly coffee shops now...$15 quiche before tip - just can’t justify it...plus waiting 15 mins for it to be burned and still cold on the inside - it was a real disappointment. great environment & fantastic desserts & staff - always a good vibe
Very cosy cafe, with beautiful interior, nice tea and choice of breakfast and cakes.
We really enjoyed stopping here for coffee and breakfast. I had a slice of veggie quiche and my husband had a sandwich. They were both very good and the service was quick. We look forward to going back and enjoying the fireplace on the front patio.UPDATE! They just remodeled the inside and have even more GF options now including baked goods and cheesecakes. Im a very happy girl!! Thank you Coffee House on Cherry Street!!
My fiance, children and myself went here for the first time today. The gentleman at the counter was very polite, friendly, upbeat, and helpful. We both ordered the Polar Bear, iced, and it was delicious!! We all ordered food, which didnt disappoint either. Another thing we liked, they didnt make us wear a mask!! They left it as it should be, each individuals own choice whether to have one or not. The only thing, it is expensive! Just for myself, my fiance, our 5yr old and 1yr old, it cost over $50! Still, I highly recommend this coffee shop. Personally, I feel they put Starbucks in the dirt.
Baked goods made there, and made very well. Cappuccino perfect froth, good coffee flavor.
I went in and ordered 2 Mochas with 4 shots of espresso. Got back to work and there was no espresso in it. I called them to let them know and was told that it did have espresso in it. They offered to remake it but told me they can guarantee it would taste the same. Im sorry but if you get four shots in a small mocha you should taste espresso. So I just paid 16 for two hot chocolates! I would not recommend going here for coffee if youre a coffee drinker. You will be sadly disappointed!
Friendly staff. Friendly customers. It felt like community. Outside fire pit. Lots of outside seating for small and large groups. Wifi available with lots of spaces to sit. Decorated industrial/steampunk. Very cute. Now....the food. The coffee was great and the cakes.....oh my. So good. Even lemon lavender cake. Lots of cookies. Many gluten free choices as well. We will go back often!
The place is really cute and I love the atmosphere but my drink and my sons drink were luke warm. For an independent coffee shop I expect better drinks.
Cute little place. Mocha was good, but too cold.
Amazing coffee, desserts, and fresh food all around
Good drinks, good breakfast options, friendly staff, I mean, this place is awesome :)
So i been going here for the better part of a decade, the service, the coffee, the staff hasn’t changed. It’s where i go to get away and have a great cup of coffee, even now they take extra precautions and i have never felt more safe. It’s just nice to go to a place that has not forgotten that people like me has got them to where they are today and they still is raising the bar on service and great product!
Vintage coffee shop that has some pretty good food to try for breakfast or brunch.
First visit here, loved the atmosphere, and that they highlight the works of Artists 🎨. The coffee I had here was amazing and the apple pie from the bakery was super delicious. I would definitely return.
Great coffee. Had americano and it was delicious. Good variety of food items.
Had my first date with my wife here. Love the atmosphere, great coffee.
Always easy to wind down. Relaxing with a cup of Joe in a Great Environment. Wonderful Staff. 👍👍
Charming, relaxing neighborhood coffee shop housed in a bungalow on Cherry Street. Prices are comparable to Starbucks.Outdoor seating area could use heaters as it gets colder -- the fire pit does little for guests comfort.
