By far the coolest plant nursery Ive ever been to. They have a huge variety of indoor and outdoor plants and a huge variety of sizes, too.I was even able to find several varieties of philodendron that Id been looking for.Is it more expensive than Lowes? Yes. Is it way better? Also yes. Totally worth it.Plus they had these propagation chandeliers that were amazing and now I want one.

Can’t say enough good things about Southwood. New to the area a year ago and they’ve helped with all of my landscape needs. Their plants are all super high quality and their staff are very knowledgeable. I specifically have worked with Ian on some projects and he’s been amazing to work with. Most recently, he was able to get me a couple of Japanese maples, helped me identify specific varieties for the spots in our yard that I wanted them and ordered and reserved two very nice trees for me. Will only be coming to Southwood for landscape/gardening from now on!

Thoughtfully planned and executed plants, home accessories and music! Prices are above what Im comfortable paying for similar items but the community where its located can handle the increase. Some sale items where placed in the elements and damaged. Ambiance, ambiance, ambiance!

We’ve shopped South Wood for many years simply because of the quality of the plants and trees. But it’s a shame that they don’t provide delivery and planting of trees to our town only 35 miles away☹️

This used to be my go to nursery, but lately the quality and customer service has failed me. They were having a huge 50% off sale this weekend. I asked an employee which grasses were marked down and she said, Idk some of them are some arent. Guess Im not much help, sorry. Not helpful at all. Ive also noticed mealybugs on their indoor plants for weeks. I told an employee, but they didnt seem to care. Its now turned into an infestation and I left this weekend without any indoor plants because I couldnt find one without signs of mealybugs. Their indoor section is now infested, especially the succulents. The plants Ive purchased from them a couple of weeks ago are now infested as well. I asked a lady at the solutions desk for help since Neem isnt working. She told me to use something with Spinosad, which after researching, wont work. Giving me incorrect info on an issue that started at the nursery is the last straw for me. I wouldnt buy your house plants here unless you want an infestation.

Id originally gone there for some orchid mix to help save a pinguicula from dying. The mix was temporary, but I have so many plants that can use it. Curious plants was a life saver with the ping mix. But, upon checkout Id managed to snag an Orchid that was pretty rough to begin with. Its loving its new home, and will be receiving a new pot already since the roots are starting to take over! I, also, have some fertilizer coming for it! I will definitely be returning to this place in the future!They also have friendly staff, and the whole place is incredible. I was able to see so many beautiful plants in such a short period of time. My boyfriend and I are already planning on which plants we want for our future house because of this place! Keep up the great work!

The best nursery in Tulsa. Wide variety of plants, laid out well, you can tell they take care of their plants by how they are arranged. Prices are good. Highly recommend.

Being an arborist pf 30 years, i must say... Such a wide variety of trees and plants. Open and spread out over a large lot. Not only variety or species, but optional sizes. From 2.5g trees to 44 buckets. Beautiful Japanese Maples. Impressed.

Been there twice now and love everything here! Quality plants, usually when I go look at plants at lowes or somewhere theyre all dying and theres bugs everywhere. Here, there arent any at all! They are inexpensive as well. I will be coming back soon. Went to the help desk and she loved our son and was so helpful and kind! Also had an employee ask if we need any help loading while we were in the parking lot. The customer service is amazing here!

Love this place. Huge variety of houseplants and outdoor plants, great prices, friendly staff. They have a recycle area for nursery pots in front of the store, so you can bring them back for others to use instead of feeling like you have to save them, and when you need nursery pots, you can go retrieve some. Really great nursery.

Be real careful shopping for trees and shrubs. They have nice little bait and switch going on. The trees of the same variety are grouped together and the are prices on posts at different rows. $129, $149, $199. We found nice tree in the $149 row. Went to register to check out and they said it was $249. No apology, nothing they could do. They said the signs on posts, which are all over the nursery, don’t matter. You have to to look at the tag. We won’t be back.Go to Stringer nursery instead. Better inventory, prices and nice employees.

Went in shopping for house plants. The employee who assisted me was pleasant and very knowledgeable. She was able to help me locate several plants I was trying to find, and add some new options to my list. The prices were reasonable considering the size and quality of plant. I also found some Christmas gifts in their decor area.

Place has almost everything, and the young man that greeted me immediately knew exact location of the tree I wanted, took me to them, he carried it out to my truck and everything. I will definitely return.

This is a place conveniently located to my home, has a great variety of options to choose from. Went there recently to make some purchases and was extremely disappointed by the horrible and rude staff. We did let the manager know and left with no purchases and won’t plan to return. We did find what we wanted elsewhere.

Huge variety, but prices are through the roof! Cactus cuttings, repotted for 129.99....thats 2 for close to 300 bucks...at that rate, youd be better off heading to Arizona and grabbing your own..

I really don’t know where to begin when it comes to describing how amazing this place is. It seriously far exceeded my expectations for a nursery and landscaping store. It’s huge, very well laid out and organized, helpful signs indicating what types of plants you’re looking at, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful selection of plants and outdoor as well as indoor decor. I do wish they had more bonsais, but understandably there may not be a demand for them here in Tulsa. The plants and flowers here are all so beautiful and very well taken care of by the staff. We’re definitely going to be returning for our landscaping needs!

I came in today as a totally clueless plant owner with my 1 year old. Being a tired mom this week, I showed up without much of a vision but knew I wanted house plants to bring life to the interior of my living room. I browsed for about 10-15 minutes staring at all the gorgeous plants without a clue where to start and an employee named Alex asked how I was doing and if I needed help. Of course I said yes, and she SO KINDLY spent over 25 minutes assisting me, picking out plants, helping me with planters, asking about the style I prefer, etc. She carried all my plants around for me and set them on the front counter as I lugged around a heavy baby. I just wanted to hop on here and say thank you to Alex for being so kind, patient, and hospitable. I probably would have left the store empty handed if she hadn’t offered to help me. Ended up buying 6 super cute plants and pots for my mantle! I loved their selection. They had something for every personality type and plant lover, I could tell. It was my first time in and it won’t be my last!

I was looking for a good place to get flowers, ornamental plants, shrubberies and some trees. Not only did I find what I was looking for, but I also received excellent assistance and even free advice for planning a few projects around ny home. The facility itself is well laid out: one can easily move around with carts and things without bumping into other people or breaking things.Their selection of flowers, shrubs, trees, plants and everything needed to grow and maintain those things are located in easy to reach areas. The staff are plentiful and anybody then oretty much trip on themselves to answer your questions or help you with anything you need.I was very impressed with Southwood and will definitely be using them for all my planting and gardening needs in the future.

Southwoods has a healthy and large selection of annuals, perennials, trees, grasses, and tropical plants as well as everything you need to properly plant them. There is a fun assortment of fountains, pots, patio furniture and gardening decor. So much to see. Service is excellent!

Great place! I cant imagine what it must look like in spring. Being centered, for the most part, around mid-town Tulsa, I rarely get so far south. Definitely worth the gas! Beautiful selection of plants even in December. So many poinsettias in colors Ive never seen. My photos dont do justice to the orange or fuschia ones. Full selection of home goods. The only thing Id subtract points for is the lack of tool selection. I understand a garden center selling Stihl products. I highly support it. But why have a tiny section with some edger parts when Stihl has an amazing line of hand pruners and tools? Use a few more feet of display shelving and offer more than 6 or so cutting tools, like extending loppers and Stihl bypass sheers and specialty stuff like a rose thorn stripper. Please. Other than that, the selection, even off season was fantastic. The you could pretty much decorate your whole house for the holidays there. Gorgeous!

Nice variety of plants, flowers and bushes. Lots of people working to help customers. Carts to haul your stuff are plentiful and well maintained. The only problem I encountered was parking, the lot is small.

I won a one hour consultation with Paul James for donating to Public Radio Tulsa do this was my first visit here! I was not disappointed. Paul was absolutely wonderful! Also the environment is peaceful despite being busy, the quality of their products is superb, all of the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. A great place to visit and purchase all of your landscaping products. Also, Sundays they feature live music while you shop. Definitely the best nursery in Oklahoma!

My family and I love this store, however you’ve lost our business. We don’t have face masks and aren’t getting them. You’re losing loyal customers with this decision.

I will never again use Southwood Landscape and Garden Center for my landscaping needs, simply because of the terrible customer service I have received. They seldom return phone calls or emails, and when they do, they rarely follow through with the timeline they propose. After my plant installation, I was supposed to have a walk-thru with the project manager and he never contacted me. When some of my plants died, I tried to reach them because they have a replacement guarantee, and I am still waiting 3 months after my initial contact with them.

We were here for the all about bugs presentation. The presenter was very nice and allowed kids to view the bugs up close as well as he answered many questions during his presentation. The rest of the store has a lot of nice looking plant displays along with some more interesting flowers. Whoever designs their layout is a great artist. They had quite a few unusual features like a metallic coated small tree and another tree winding around one of the post supporting the awning at the entrance. Their displays are themed with great care to match colors or styles. Staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable, although they have plenty of expensive items too.
