Recently came here on memorial day to get a resonator delete x pipe on my 2018 mustang gt. Service was absolutely amazing, one of the guys took me into the shop to explain what they would be doing in detail to my car, which was greatly appreciated and nice, and they got it installed all for under 100 bucks. I will definitely be coming back for more exhaust work when I am ready!

Went up there for only a AC recharge and then they tried saying my compressor wasn’t working on my car after I was told right before I went up there that it was working. After they “diagnosed” my car that they compressor wasn’t working that did an AC recharge after diagnosing it. Making me pay $140. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Fixed emergency flat during a trip without charging for the service. Good folks that now have my respect!

They literally just cleared out my check engine light after I paid over 500 bucks for them to change and clean my fuel exhaust valve. Called to see about the price of getting my back brake drums changed and he couldnt give me a straight answer trying to say there might be other problems. I would have to bring it in for them to check which cost more money just for that....to me it seems like they could care less about people or their car problem and just want to mae as much money off people as they can

Took my car to the dealership one time for an overpriced oil change. The next time I took it to Midas and thats where I always take it now for oil changes or anything else. I was able to get financing for tires and big repairs and the manager worked with me to get the work done affordably. I dont feel like they push unnecessary repairs like some places do. Ive learned a bit about car repairs and maintenance, even if I cant do the repairs myself, because women are often ripped off by mechanics. At Midas they show me the problem and they also tell me if a service could safely wait a little bit instead of pressuring me to do it right then. My car is my baby and I can trust Midas to take good care of it.

To all women out there that use midas on gloster street in front of walmart for front end alignments i wouldnt go back i got my truck out tge shop last week having a few leaks fixed and they were fixed no more leaks so went to get new tires put on then went to midas for front end alignment and now all a sudden i have 2 big wholes in my racket pinyan steering that were not there befor wich has caused me to have to start putting power steering fluid in my truck constantly wich i havent had to do ever befor . then they threaten to call the cops when i complained about it not to mention my sister Kacey Sherre Thunderburk had a front end alignment done at midas and after wards she suddenly had to start putting fluid in her car to because she ended up with the very same issue

I would like to say that at first Kenny seemed very professional, however, over time I have come to realize that in my opinion he cannot perform his duties as GM. I believe he is in over his head. We paid $900+ for brakes and rotors which we have never got to tryout because they still have my sons car 6 months later! Everytime I call the employees are nice and take a message for Kenny which he never returns. When changing the oil I was advised the head was warped. This is something I expected yet Kenny advised we can fix this! Still not fixed and tired of having the GM avoid my calls. Tired of the excuses because when I finally get in touch with him, there is always a reason why it will take longer. Midas had the head sent to a local machine shop and once they tried to repair the motor I am advised the machine shop messed up! They are blaming the other company and at one point Kenny told me on the phone, I dont know what to do! If you agree to fix my car then if you sub out work and it goes wrong then I am not holding them responsible because I took my car to Midas! Ask to speak with the owner and of course he is out of the country which may be true but it makes the company look very bad! Do not take you vehicle to them for anything other than an o change!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I left a local repair shop that I had used for a couple of years after a disappointing and harrowing experience, and landed here. From the moment I walked into this Tupelo location of Midas, Kenny Prince and his crew have taken care of me. For a woman, it is intimidating to walk into a repair shop alone. Kenny and his crew go to great lengths to make people feel comfortable and well cared for. While waiting for my service to be completed, I have quietly observed his interactions with other customers many times. He and his crew are all consistently respectful and straightforward with repairs and services. I trust this shop, and thats a big deal for a woman trying to keep her car serviced or repaired. Keep up the good work!

Need a tire fixed. They were bad busy. The employee took time to air up the tire up (slow leak) to get us time to get it fixed. THANK YOU MIDAS! THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE! YOU HAVE A NEW CUSTOMER.

Outstanding customer service! We were driving home when the caliper on the passenger side of our front brake broke! I happened to remember there was a Midas about a mile ahead so we eased in there. We had never been there before. We were about 12 miles from home and had no one to call. I am a cancer patient on oxygen. We asked if they would take a look at our car at almost 4 pm. Not only were they happy to look at it, they said they would fix it right away! The work done was excellent and done as quickly as possible even though they did have to stay a little past their closing to complete it. These guys were so nice, even checking to make sure I was doing okay. Like I said, we have never been there before but we will definitely be back again. The staff was absolutely great and if I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

Midas always does a fine job with my car. I almost always come last minute (I know how awful that is) and they get me right in. I usually leave my car with them and go get some errands done and they always have everything done before I am. They are extremely friendly and very helpful. A+ every time.

I went there to fix my manifold. They gave me an estimate, worked with me on the price and then done the work quicker and cheaper than expected. They did amazing work and all had friendly, helpful attitudes. Super chill atmosphere as well. Cool waiting area with skittles, gum balls, coffee, and water for you while you wait on your car. Nice leather waiting chairs with padded arm rests. Couldnt have asked for a better experience from the employees or the establishment.

If I could have given it zero stars I would have. On a road trip towing a 10,000# trailer I blew a brake line near Tupelo, MS. I got off the highway, dropped the trailer and Midas came up on a Google search. I went in and they got me in fairly quickly but gave me an estimate for $1701.03. I was not happy. They kept emphasizing the work needed to be done to get me on the road safely, they kept emphasizing the safety aspect and I fell for it. Safety? Read liability. After some discussion over several hours I told them to just get me rolling screw safely, Id sign a waiver in case anything happened and they did.....for $584.66. I was so freaked out by the ordeal ahead getting my trailer back to Alabama after all the dire warnings they had given me about what could happen that I didnt really look at the invoice. I just paid it and left. What choice did I have? They repeatedly had said they DID NOT want to start pulling the brakes apart because of the rust and what they could find might lead to more repairs. Fair enough. However, when I looked at it later they charged me $89+ for a brake flush and $29 to bleed the brakes. How? My bleeders were rusted shut. They also charged me $356 labor to replace one brake line. When I called to ask about the charges the mgr. Told me it was because they had spent so much time tearing everything apart. WHAT? It took my friend and I 20 minutes of steady pounding to get the brake drum off in a shower of rust flakes. That drum hadnt been off that truck in years. I dont mind paying for work done. I DO mind paying for work not done and paying exorbitantly for work that was done. I called and talk to the manager and calmly explained what my issue was, he disagreed, said hed talk to his guys and call me back the next morning. That was 2 days ago and I havent heard a word. Not that it makes any difference but they were off on my milage on the invoice by 70k miles and spelled my name wrong. Midas is what gives auto repair shops a bad name.

Kenny was very helpful. We were stranded in Tupelo with a broken driveshaft. He called everywhere to find a new one. And to replace.

Great Job! I had a problem with their initial install of my muffler. They quickly fixed with no issues and made it right. The manager Tim is very nice and easy to work with. Very Satisfied.

Wonderful customer service. I drove a little over 900 miles to Tupelo, MS to visit with friends with a rental car from MN. When I departed an hour later from MN, the oil light came light up on the rentals dashboard. 14 hours later I saw this Midas was near the hotel I reserved at. After checking in, I took the rental back down the street to Midas. The staff was very pleasant and willing to take care of me, even though they see pretty busy. The oil was changed with 45 minutes...awesome service. I was very pleased and happy they were so willing to meet my needs.

Worst service ever, very expensive & brakes still squeaking. And they done have time to fix it.

I went in and had my exhaust done on my 07 charger and it turned out awesome. I was very happy with the job they did. It looks clean sounds amazing and was very reasonably priced. They had me in and out in just a couple of hours. Anyone one who is thinking about having custom exhaust work done these are the guys to do it.

Ive been with Midas 11+ years! Ive never had a problem until just recently. The manager has a bad attitude on top of that! Ive spent thousands of dollars over the years. Within 7 months Ive spent a little over $4100. Ive washed my hands with this company. I will now look for another company to accompany me with my vehicle and spend my hard earned money with.

Great prices and Kenny the manager goes out of his way to make sure the customer is satisfied.

Made my appointment online for battery and oil change. Pricing is fair, just be ready to hurry up and wait. Had to ask for the bathroom to be serviced, no paper towels. I was thinking that the online appointment option would make it a quick in and out, that assumption has failed me. Midas has the right idea, just not the competent labor to make it happen.

These people that work are not in good knowledge of their vehicles my car calls for 4 1/2 quarts and they put 5 quarts in my car. To be a professional business they will not receive my return business

Instead of getting the manufacturer recommended 5W 20 synthetic blend oil, Manager Tim decided to use 5W 20 full synthetic oil and would not honor the 39.99 posted coupon for synthetic blend. I Would not recommend this Midas.

After scheduling a muffler replacement, wheel swap, oil change, and alignment on my truck I made an appointment. 1 thing led to another and ended up only getting the oil and muffler done. Was told it would take a couple hours to EVERYTHING. Here I am almost 3 hours later and still doesnt have the muffler done and hasnt started on the oil change. I have other appointments that I need to make. If i woulda known it would take 3+ hours for oil change and muffler swap i would NOT have let them start.

Hard to get a hold of on phone and when you do they do not want to give estimates. New management has not improved the service.

I googled exhaust shops tupelo ms. A few shops pulled up midas being one. My brain automatically thought there going to be pricey. But to give them a chance I called. I was shocked the price was reasonably better yet why more cheaper then the shade tress guys listed. 30 min later I had my exhaust on and I was a happy camper. Thank you midas and there awesome crew in Tupelo.

Manager was extremely rude and did not explain that the tires needed to be taken off and rotated with the oil change. I dont allow work done on my car that I wasnt informed about. I confronted him about not telling me and he would not speak to me. He told me to pay him and leave. Will not be back.Take your vehicle to Firestone or Trueloves, not these a**holes.
