Made reservations with uhaul last night. The man said the size truck we wanted was available at this location for pick up. Got a text msg confirmation an hour before pick up that our pick up location was in alabama! Spent 30 min on hold for a person to pick up the phone for them to tell me there was no truck at this location available & they try to accommodate by choosing a different location how about just doing that in the beginning or CALLING the customer to let them know!?! Now we are screwed & have no truck! Never use uhaul! For clarification it is not this locations fault its the customer service through uhauls fault!

I do not recommend. Not only were inconvenienced by having to drive 1 hour and 30 minutes back to return the truck to its original location, we were told we only had to fill the truck back up once we returned it. Once we returned it, we were charged an additional $82 charge for mileage that we were not informed about. After calling in to customer service, we learned that there was a better rate that uhaul representatives failed to disclose to us. I have used uhaul twice and this by far was my worst experience.

I love how they go out of their way to help their customers

They gave our rental away because we were late which would be understandable if the woman on the phone who made the reservation didnt ask us for an approximate time that we would be picking up. We did not know we needed to be there at that exact time. We did end up getting our truck but were limited time since someone else needed it after us and they gave ours away. Owner waited on us didnt seem to know much about the computer system and had no personality.

This was a great place to do business with. Needed a hitch for the truck I bought my wife a few weeks ago and had to leave town bu lunch. They got it done quickly and was cheaper than all the other places

The only nice and helpful person there was new so he couldnt answer many questions. We were diverted there after a breakdown mid-move. They were not helpful, told us to call roadside assistance (which was who directed us there) and the rudest person turned out to be the manager! Then a tow truck showed up and without checking with the driver the employees told it was for our truck which was a surprise because we were told a new truck was being brought to us and after trying to load it on for 15minutes roadside assistance called to follow up and turns out that they were NOT there to pick up our truck but one of their broken trucks on site!

Youve been warned.This has been the worst experience with a reputable company in my life. No one with an education works there, and they simply dont answer the phone if its inconvenient. I was taken aback at the incompetence of Alisha, the store manager. She continued to tell me Itll be done right next time you come back. Simply empty promises and poor customer service. If you are trying to have a trailer hitch and wiring installed, you will want to go elsewhere. After multiple hour long trips back and forth to the location, and having to go elsewhere to get the job done properly, I spent twice as much as I was told itd initially cost. It was an absolute nightmare. Its instances like this you never forget, and I will not be using U haul again.

I never thought Id take the time to write one of these... Worst customer service I have experienced in my life. Employees are uneducated and confrontational with seemingly zero regard as to how they treat customers. Ive had several less than stellar interactions with this business, but the last one took the cake. I reserved a trailer online to be picked up Sunday morning at 9am. When I arrived that morning (at 9:00) there was no one there. Another older, and very polite, gentleman was waiting outside as well for his rental which was also reserved for 9. When the employee finally pulled up 45 MINUTES LATER seemingly hungover and on a motorcycle, the older gentleman I was with expressed his frustration that the store was advertised to open at 9 and that he had been waiting for almost an hour and that he had a very busy day as he was trying to move. The Uhaul employee, instead of offering any kind of apology for wasting our time became very confrontational and said who the hell else is open on a Sunday. The older guy got mad and left, which is understandable considering what a jerk the guy was being. I stayed and rented my trailer and the guy was a total a**h**e to me too. He even refused to hook my trailer up for me, so I had to drag the thing out from the line of trailers myself. Its a shame how low this places standards are. Just because youre the only place open on Sunday doesnt give you the right to waste peoples time. Just lousy all around.

Called to make a reservation with the Tupelo, MS company and was told there would definitely be a trailer at that location for me to pick-up. After making a 1500 mile drive to pick up was notified that I actually have to drive to New Albany, MS to pick up my trailer as they didnt have any available. I had to drive an additional 30 mins to new location. So there and back was an additional hour I had to go out of my way for the trailer.I asked then if they would be offering me any compensation for the inconvenience and was told. no there is nothing we will do for you because we do not make guarantees.I asked to speak to the owner or main manager and was told I was speaking to her. I threatened to call corporate because I felt I had been wrong and misinformed by their company and she encouraged me to call corporate because they wouldnt do anything either.After contacting corporate they told me there is a 50 dollar guarantee in deed and that they would file the objection letter with the Tupelo, MS store. I had to wait for the general manager to call me back though from the Tupelo store. I never received the call back and just got off the phone to discover corporate had issued me my 50 dollar refund.I will absolutely without a doubt not recommend the Tupelo location and will never do business with them again. That said I do commend Uhaul corporate for handling my issue.

For being understaffed they may be a little slow during peak times but they still get the job done. Enjoyed working with and will be working with them in the future.

A very expensive moving experience. Something about the employees there I didn’t like. The GM made me sweep out the back of the rental truck. Ummm...I’m the man sting customer here, that’s your job!

I was in need of a small tow uhaul after my fathers passing to help move stuff out of his home. It was a tough time, but the reps at this uhaul location were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

If you lock the truck and turn in the key before you take pictures and return the truck online these people will rob you. they will claim the gas was short and charge you for an extra day. they hate white people. do not ever use this store.

They charged more than I was told they would. And when I returned my rental they were very rude which is uncalled for. I dont recommend this location at all.

Extremely unprofessional, dirty equipment I had to clean the trailer before I took it and I was charged a cleaning fee upon return. Was charged an extra 24 hour rental for returning equipment 45min late. I had to unhook trailer when I returned the staff was nowhere to be found. Complete and utter Joke!

I reserved over the phone and picked up equipment at this location without any delay.

Ive worked with these guys for years. The clerk just informed me that they do not accept debit cards 😂 Im headed to give our business to another rental company.

Staff and was able to get us in and out in fairly good time even with technical difficulties.

Did express check in. One lady working dong storage units and reservations. Totally ridiculous wait time putting everyone trying to move behind. Would never advise using this location unless absolutely necessary. Pathetic service!!!!!!
