Visited the store to get internet and TV service. Sales associate was very friendly and helpful, knowledgeable about the products. Help us work through our options and get service. Review of the store is great, review of the cost is not great. Plans were as expected but every piece of equipment cost you more monthly plus extra fees!
The prices are very fair but the best part of my experience was our representive who was very friendly and educated on the companys product. She definitely deserves a raise!!! 🙌l
The service is choppy at times and the prices are entirely too high.... $160 just for wi-fi killing the pockets of the disabled.
Internet at my location has upwards of 50% packet loss constantly. I was told the node to this location needed to be worked on and that they worked on it from 8am-2pm but my internet is still entirely unusable.
Just despise this company! The workers we’re helpful but tech-support says one thing and the worker said some thing different. I was told that I need to get a new modem and they did not tell me to bring the old one in. Live 30 minutes out of town so had to make other trip around. I was not happy about that one at all.
Once again Comcast does not fail to disappoint. I have been W/O cable service/internet since 9am this morning...it is now 4:30 pm. After well over an hour,I finally got someone in customer service. With absolutely no answers or resolution to when services will be restored. Not to mention not having ANY knowledge of anything pertaining to comcast!! As a whole this service as well as their customer service SUCKS!!
The worst customer service Ive NEVER GOTTEN TO TALK TO. Dont even waste your time and money here. Give it to another provider. I cant even get into my account, and theres apparently nothing Xfinity can do about it. Unless you want an automated voice to run you in circles and never have your any of problems solved, please dont use Xfinity.
Whatever you are paying for you arent getting with these guys. My service started with xfinity in August of 2019, I am paying for 400mbps download, and the speed I have received since day one with multiple calls to their support line has yielded a new modem hours of failed fixes and still no data speed to match what Ive paid for.This is -illegal.-When you charge for something and receive payment for it then dont deliver you are stealing.

The internet and tv service are constantly going out or are down for maintenance. And their prices continue to increase. If you have other options for cable and internet, I recommend you look at them before you purchase Comcast.
They dont have a phone number and when I needed assistance curbside I wasnt able to get help. I had lots of equipment to carry out and knew I was going to need assistance. Once I was in the store no one helped me carry it out. The first person I spoke with said Im with a customer with no customer in sight and assumed I would move to some other desk behind her.

Its extremely difficult to contact any support member and when you do finally get through to someone they put you on hold for half and hour reviewing the account. Overall, the service from this company is downright one of the worst in the business and if you have the ability I would highly recommend going with any other service provider.

If I could rate Comcast with a lower review I would. I’ve never seen a company so difficult to deal with.It is so nice to walk into a service center and be greeted warmly. To have all of your questions answered promptly and with assurance. Smitty answered my questions, assisted me in establishing the services that I wanted, and provided me with a two hour window for my installation. Oh by the way this pleasant experience was at AT&T. They set me up faster, cheaper and with upgraded equipment in about 15minutes. Maybe you should learn from AT&T how to satisfy a customer.
Ive had Comcast WiFi for five years now and and Im on autopay, so they always gotten their money. In the past year, and especally now, they have started slowing WiFi speeds down. Many of my devices just disconnect like my servellance system ans cell phone when on WiFi. I have apps to check the speed now and it never goes above 14 mps. Its often less than 4 mps. I have called several time to get them to find the problem. They sent out a technician and then charged me $40.00 plus tax but he didnt fix the problem, it just got worse. Im under a contract so I cant change providers right now, but I will be filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This is the first time Ive written a bad review so I would definitely not recomend Comcast to anyone.
Comcast/xfinity is by far the worst cable provider in this country. Stores are closed even though they say theyre open. Phone number is disconnected cant even call. My cable has been out for 2 days now but cant get another box to fix it until whenever they decide to come back to work. Useless.
I wanted to call ahead to make sure they had what I wanted in stock. The number on Google was invalid. Xfinity chat support said they did not have access to the number and that I could call phone support and they might be able to give it to me. By then it was too late, so the next day I visited the store. When I arrived there were several people waiting for service, and several associates working with customers. There were about six customers in line by the time I was called, about 15-20 min later. I told the young woman that I knew what I wanted and before I did anything I wanted to make sure it was in stock, but I also wanted to pay off my old phone. She brought a phone and case up. I asked if there were any screen protectors, and she pointed me to where they were. She did not offer to show me or help. She put the payment through on my account while I was looking for a screen protector. I was just about to ask for help finding one, when she came over and said she couldnt sell the phone. I asked why, and she told me it was the last one and there was something wrong with the inventory or something. I asked if she could have someone try to fix it or call someone, and she told me no. She said there was nothing she could do and walked off. Very unprofessional. I used to work with cellular accounts and device sales, and there was ALWAYS a way around issues like that. It is much more likely that she just did not want to try to help or spend time on it. Regardless, she was rude and did not offer to help and she walked off while I was trying to talk to her about it. I dont remember her name, but she was a tall, young black woman, probably in her early twenties. This entire experience was very painful, especially since a call to the store could have saved me the time, wait, and frustration to begin with, which is what I tried to do, but there was no number to be found. It is funny to me that she put the payment through to my account even though I was unable to purchase the phone she brought up and told me I could. This is also not the first time someone at this store has caused issues for me. They have put incorrect information on my account before and tried to charge my card under my name even though the account had been transferred to my roommate and the card was supposed to have been removed from that account.

Customer service is terrible. I called about internet problems and told them to be sure the tech brought a new one... They didnt. Tech said he would come back with one.. He didnt. Bought my own modem; & despite the box clearly saying it is compatible with Comcast only the internet and not the phone line works. They say they I have to keep their modem (and keep paying rent) for the phone to work.

How can this store STILL be “temporarily closed”?! I have tried to return my equipment THREE times but they aren’t even open to return it. I have had horrible customer service here every time we called for the last three years. There was a time where we were out of Wi-Fi for two weeks and they were no help. I have switched to AT&T. Whatever you do please don’t waste your time with them. They are helpless.
Ive been trying for 8 weeks to transfer my services to new address with no success. Made more than a dozen calls and spent 10-12 hours total on the phone. Each person I talk to tells me they will resolve the issue and call me back and no one to date has ever called me back about anything. I just call spent 30 mins to hour on phone and get no where. They have sent 2 technicians out so far and havent resolved yet. I still have no service as of this date. In addition I was billed for services and money taken out of my account when I was assured that I wouldnt be charged. The customers service supervisor I spoke to was rude and refused to give me a credit in the proper amount. I’ve been xfinity customer for years. Would not recommend

Went home for the holidays and tried to help my mom get her internet set up. After two days of sitting at home waiting for a tech. we went to Comcast to see what we could do. Mind you were calm but the customer service rep had a nasty attitude like she had been the one waiting. She cut us off mid sentence, was short with us and acted as though we were wasting her time. As though we were uneducated and had no class. I got better customer service from the phone rep in the Philippines .
I went there to get information on services that are provided for people with disabilities. I was looking to help out a veteran. Even though their website has the devices and service I was looking for none of the staff knew what I was taking about and in the long run I was unable to get help with this and had to find another company.
Michelle B saved me $600 for 2 years, and gave me better cable and faster Internet then what I already had. Super professional, smart and caring!!!

Surly employees made for a less than enjoyable experience. The sign outside touts wifi usage. They have it for a price. I have never been to a cellular store that guarded the wifi password so vigorously. An employee had to type it into my device, reluctantly and with a great deal of attitude. The information requested by the employee was in my email and could only be accessed with an internet connection. Ordeal is the word that comes to mind, also convoluted. Semantics seem to be a very big thing in this store. Finally, having been accused of being a smart the employee basically threw the phone at the manager and stormed from the showroom, unprofessional on all bases. I began filming her bad behavior and she threw a heavy store sign at me. Im a Verizon customer and have never been subjected to such rudeness or unprofessional actions. I will never go back to an Xfinity store, ever.
With all the infomercials and paid programming, cable t.v. shouldnt be so expensive. These commercials pay the cost. This is pure greed. I only watch the news, albeit its bad, and sports. Paying over $2000 is a lot, to just watch television. They like to refer to it as a bundle. Its been in the top five consumer complaints for years.
Absolutely without a doubt the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I payed for a modem and did the self install which did not work. Tried 3 different cables and I couldn’t get online for my service to be activated. It doesn’t take a genius to plug in a coax cable and follow directions so I know I’m not doing anything wrong. When I came into this store to ask questions and explain the situation the employee rudely cut me off and said is it working or not? Then dismissively said I have to call customer service and get a tech to come out and fix it which is $70 dollars. Wouldn’t answer any of my questions AT ALL. I’m cancelling this horse**** subscription and going with at&t. Completely disrespectful and inept.
Nothing against the store itself. The company has absolutely terrible WiFi and when it desires to quit working, happens weekly, none of the phones seem to work. The number listed for this store never works and the 1-(800) numbers on the website are “busy” also when the WiFi is down so is their call back on the troubleshooting part of their website. So after it goes down there is no way to get in touch with Comcast or Xfinity. You just have to wait till they decide to fix it, I have had to wait over 5 hours in some cases. Definitely recommend any other WiFi provider and yes I’ve had windstream before and probably what I’m gonna have to go back to. When it is working it never works at the speed they advise.
This has nothing to do with the Tuscaloosa store but everything to do with the customer service line. If you value your time and money, dont allow their sign up tricks to lure you into business. They will overcharge you and make many claims to rectify their error(s) only to continue inaccurately billing you without making necessary corrections. After 6+ phone calls over 4 months, our bill still has several errors. Id rather pay the termination fee and be done with the headache. It is unfortunate because whenever the service did work, it was great.
Id give zero stars if I could. Comcast will never charge you correctly. Some of the lies they tell; If we send a tech out, and the problem is Comcast problem, you will not be billed. You will. $150.00 per visit, no matter where the problem lies. (My problems were always Comcast equipment or line related. And there was many of them.) The price you are quoted WILL NOT be the price you pay. Youre bill will increase at least every other month. If you have internet, your modem will stop working at least once a month. If you have cable, your cable box will stop working about once a month. Plan on at least 2 calls for assistance to their customer service department a month. BTW, you will NOT speak to a person who has a very good understanding of the English language. When you call to cancel, that is the only time you will be directed to a person who speaks perfect English here in the USA. That person will promise you everything if you stay. Dont believe them. They lie. AT&T is horrible. But they are definitely the lesser of two evils in this town. I had Comcast and Xfinity for about 9 years. I am 47 years old. I called with problems with Comcast more than I have called all other companies I have dealt with in my life combined. They just are not worth the hassle. ALSO, every time you speak to anyone from Comcast, record the call. When you take your equipment back to the store, video record it on your phone and get a receipt. If you dont, They will bother you for months claiming that you owe for equipment that you returned.

This is NOT for the store, but for their customer service over the phone. I can’t say enough amazing things about Jeff Biggs!! He was so helpful and explained every detail to me. Being this is my first time purchasing cable, internet, and security system he was sure to explain every detail! GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE! I work in customer service and Jeff is the epitome of customer experience! I can’t speak for the service as it hasn’t begun, but set up was seamless and price was very reasonable!
This location provided me with some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We waited with no recognition from any of the staff for ten minutes. When we were helped, the staffer appeared annoyed and cancelled the account and then notified us of an early termination fee. The fee is not the problem as I’ve done this before with xfinity, it was the lack of acknowledgement before cancelling the account and then the condescending tone that followed from this cashier. Just solidifies my choice to switch to spectrum.
The staff are ok, but the service IS THE WORST!!! Our wifi is consistently lagging or just completely knocked out. This happens a lot around 6pm. Right now the wifi is out and “a technician is in you area fixing the issue” they never send an email out saying it’s down and it won’t be back up for 2 hours. This is prime time for families to be watching tv, we have a ruko so we need wifi. Also, I am a full time student at UA and this is the time I need to do my homework. The internet is NOT cheap either.
Nothing to do with this particular site, it is great, it is the service in general. When you cut users off at certain times of the day all the time. Then say no that isnt the case theres something going on... Im sorry. Sure its up most of the time but dont promise up time and then blame it on the location. I understand its difficult to keep up a network and its not ones persons fault. But it just sucks when you pay hundreds of dollars to a company for a simple necessity of todays world and they just cut it off at random and blame it on something else when it happens all the time (sure its different when you have one modem and no one has come to the house to fix it. But when you have had multiple modems and plenty of people out to the house and say nothing is wrong you start to wonder. ) Sadly in this current area of Tuscaloosa this is the only provider for this necessity so we are stuck. But I am tired of losing time waiting for the network to come back when I could be working and developing something great. Hopefully when we move to a different location we no longer have only on company in the area so we can actually choose the service and get a service that is more reliable then the connection that we have at this time in our lives. Hopefully Comcast figures out how to cut the network on people behind are not actually using at the time instead of cutting a certain barra hoping no on is using at that time. Im seriously sick of it and currently cant wait to jump ship as soon as the possibility presents its self.
Do not get Comcast WiFi, there are outages daily and customer service is beyond bad. Not to mention the people in the store here dont know the first thing about technology.
They charged for months of Internet after they cancelled our service, and then when I called the number I was put on hold for several hours, so I went in store and the only thing they told me was to call the number again. Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and the internet is also very slow and cuts out at least twice a week. I would not recommend this provider to anyone.
I cant ever talk to anyone on the phone, I lose the internet more than a dozen times per day, and the store is closed.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Came in with an old overpayment check I wanted reissued and the gentleman there didnt want to even look at it. Told him I had already contacted customer service and the service rep said I needed to head to the store to straighten the reissue out. Still no help. Only use this location only after exhausting all other avenues because they are not interested in helping.
The customer service of this location is great. But as a long time XFinnity internet user, I advise everyone to stay away. The internet is out more than it works, never is even a quarter as fast as what they promise, and every call to corporate to try to get it fixed always took at like 25 minutes and sometimes up to an hour and didnt always work at getting it fixed. And I tried there internet service at 2 separate locations across town
I have been with Comcast for 3 years and have NEVER had a good experience with them. Only reason I stay is because there is NO COMPETITION for them and they practically have HIGH-SPEED INTERNET locked down! Sure, I might be able to go with AT&T or some other service but they all want tons of money up front (as deposit) and want me to jump thru hoops to be a part of their customer base. I guess Ill just have to bite the bullet and suck it up! Comcast is TERRIBLE!

So far I am very disappointed with this service. The tech did not hook up all my equipment and I was charged a $70 installation fee that I was not aware of. Next, they inform me that if Im not at the store with a previous bill and an ID they would cut it off. I had to prove I wasnt the lady who lived here before me. I get there and they say we need proof you live there. I go home and get a print out and take it back but the need the whole lease. The office manager emailed it to them but when I got home it had been cut off but bsckbon again. The tech had failed to tell me that besides my user experience I needed a password. It took me 2 hoursor more to get an agent and get it resolved. I want my $70 fee back!!!!!⁰
I moved .4 miles from my original apartment into a new residence, and I have received literally 5 + difference calls over the past 3 months to “return my cable box” when all I actually did was move to a new address. The plan I signed up for has never changed (except for a $65 increase in the overall price!!) I have explained this to the multiple xfinity/Comcast and now equipment collector agency representatives who all claim to solve the issue. I do not understand why it is this complicated. I would honestly never ever recommend this company or it’s services.Also this local store phone number is “not in service” and hasn’t been for at least the past 6 months...

Pleoples of the customer service are very polite and cooperative. They gave me proper suggestions and solutions. Waiting time is also very short.

First of all. The people at this store carries no smile. I walked in and there was no nice welcome. It was as if I was being asked what did I want and keep me there as long as their horrible shift would carry me there.Then I was willing to pay cash for my cell phone service. Apparently xfinity mobile dont want your money. They want a card. I took my cash and placed it on a gift card. Apparently that was not ok. The gift card was not a credit card. I attempted to run to cvs and purchase a credit card with my gift card but I couldnt. I had to have cash to load a reloadable credit card. Now my cash I had to pay for my xfinity mobile is locked into a gift card that I cant use. Maybe your non exciting customer service people could make that known.I mean poor guy looked miserable working for you. I can screenshot his business card but really???The people working at the Tuscaloosa location looked miserable.

I was suppose to have a line put in under the road on the 2ND after the tech came out and didnt find a line to use. No one showed up on the 2ND a tech came on the 3rd to hook up the inside but couldnt because no line was run. After 3 other appointments for the line to be run they come to bury the line but tell me they didnt bring the right machine and tell me what I need (the exact thing the first tech ordered) and say another crew will be out in a couple of days. I have waited around 23 days for this to be hooked up each time with it getting delayed more and more. Customer service has been the worse I have ever felt with. And on top of everything the guy that signed me up lied to me about the price I have tried to file a complaint against him multiple times but convenetly no one seems to know how. So to anyone brave enough to try them good luck. I hope you have unlimited minutes to stay on the phone and a unbreakable will.
Worse company i have ever seen, When they have phone or internet outages they will never answer the phone, and will not inform you of outages. All communications are by recorded voice and they give you a estimated time service will be restored..

As far as the service it is great. If you go there do not work with Cordell Young. He will tell you everything you want to hear but when it comes time to install and your bill it will be different. I went in and ordered the HD cable 240 channel with DVR and Internet and he told be the install fee would be waved. Well when it was installed the installer told me according to the order we didnt order HD or DVR. I went by the store and talked to Cordell and he said he asked me if I wanted these things and that I said I didnt. Told him that was not true and basically called me a liar. After getting that all corrected, now a couple of weeks later and I see my bill with the $60 install fee which I was told would be wave. uugggghhh. Do not deal with CORDELL YOUNG

Worst customer service ever...Went into my bank acct 3 times when I had no bill I actually had a credit now they cant see it in their system but I see it in my acct and caused my acct to go negative now I cancelled my services you want to charge me a early termination fee lady was very rude and kept repeating the same thing... I want to speak with someone that can help me then they hung up on me....I hate bad customer service just as much as I hate people taking money from me...I will not pay that bill they should be paying me back...Sorry people
Xfinity just do a fraud service. I took their plan $24.99. I was the first time user, i called customer service about the internet set-up. They wasted my 2 hours and convinced me that pay $60.00 for the technician, later it will be waived off because you are the first time user. But later they start saying no we cant say that. Never use this service. You will cry.
