Always excellent cookies, but today’s experience was a notch above. Firstly, the store was in immaculate condition and the man at the counter took his service above and beyond. He greeted us with a huge smile and an inviting demeanor. After quickly fulfilling our order we began talking about insomnia’s cookie butter and he described a decadent accentuate to add to just about anything to turn it into a dessert. While I was still unsure about purchasing some he let me try a sample and it was amazing. I will definitely be coming back to this location.

First time going and definitely won’t be my last. i’ve heard so much about insomnia that i just had to go see what the hype was about. i was so pleased to find out they had vegan options! the two ladies that worked there were super nice and cookies came fresh out of the oven. i got the vegan chocolate chip gluten free cookie, sugar cookie, and triple chocolate chunk. The vegan cookie was super delicious! now i understand what all the hype is about!!

Soft.. last for days! Open late for sweet tooth.. not always as big (and flat) as AMERICAN cookie co, but same price and fluffier.. convenient parking unlike university mall/midtown for baked bear

If you like homemade cookies, this place is for you. They have many different kinds such as chocolate chip and mint, chocolate chunk, macadamia with white chocolate to name a few...good to see a small business that works this hard to make a business worthwhile.

Went by to get some cookie sandwiches for dessert. Great value and great food! My server, Paul, was very nice and professional and went above and beyond to provide good service! Will definitely shop here again!

I gave this place 5 stars in a review yesterday, but after my experience today Ive decided to change it. The workers were unreasonably rude to my boyfriend when he picked up my order and they tried to only give us half of my order even though it was printed on the receipt. The cookies are absolutely phenomenal, but Ill just start baking cookies at home.

I want to give this more stars but sadly, I can’t. Ordered cookies using the website for my son’s birthday. Cookies were on time and very tasty according to him. The problem occurred when my card was used for two more orders fraudulently. When I tried calling to ask about the two additional charges, I was told there was nothing they could do about it and to dispute it with my bank. My card had to be cancelled and I now have to wait 7-10 days for the new one. Next time, I’ll bake and ship them. Not worth the headache!

Went to the store late at night with a digital gift card and when they scanned it after I placed my order, the balance was $0. However, after already ordering my cookies, the manager (Mike) comes out and gives us the cookies at no cost, takes a picture of the code for the gift card, and is going to try to add a balance to the card. Amazing service. Best Insomnia Cookie establishment Ive been to thanks to Mike.

2 hours to get some cookies. This is the WORST insomnia cookies I’ve ever experienced and the worst delivery experience I’ve ever had. If I could give it less of a rating I would.

These people are liars. Website said delivery time was 25-35 minutes. After an hour had gone by I called to ask when I would get my cookies, and was told in about 30 minutes. I said no I wont because I am canceling my order. Hey Insomnia if you are going to say 25-35 minutes then you need to make good on that, itr at least get reasonably close to it.

Ive never had a problem with them since Ive been going there. My only complaint would be that I wish their cookie selection was wider. I wish they had a lemon cookie that was there year-round, but I was informed today but it is a seasonal thing. So is their red velvet cookie, which is delicious! Only available on Valentines Day, though!

Cookies are great & I love working there of course. People complain all the time about waiting in line but they have to understand that you cannot jump line just because you ordered online (pick up) & of course you would expect longer wait time because were just opening this month. Other than I love it. ❤💙💚💛

Straight to the point. Not too much variety. Got 2 cookies and 2 small ice creams. I was even allowed to sample before buying. Service was dry. Not rude, just not bubbly enough. Id recommend and go again myself.

Great cookies, won’t get delivery again. Ordered at 8:30 and by the time that 10:30 rolled around I cancelled the order because I was falling asleep waiting on the delivery driver to pick the cookies up. They did make it up with some coupons and a refund.

These cookies are incredible. Maybe its jist the convenience of warm fresh baked cookies or maybe its the convenience of getting these fresh baked cookies at 2 in the morning. Either way i love this place that have over a dozen flavors different sized boxes AND you can get ice cream sandwiched between two of them! I want some just reviewing them.

Great cookies, actually my favorite cookies in tuscaloosa. A little expensive but very tasty and if you dont want to go get them they will deliver. Service its quick. They also serve ice cream with the cookies if that is something you would want. 5 stars.

Called in after our delivery order had taken two hours to reach us, and was told that there was only one driver in the store, and that our cookies were still 45 minutes away thank goodness we could get a refund. Youre a fracking late-night-cookie-delivery place, how are you not going to have more than one driver? thats like Dominos only having one driver.

Ordered a cookie cake for my sisters, checked the tracker to see that it was delivered when really they ATTEMPTED to deliver it and took it back to the store. I’m thankful that they let them pick it up at the store and for the refunded delivery fee but probably won’t use them ever again.

Im glad I dont live near here because Id be broke and huge. The cookies are fantastic, but damn theyre expensive. Also, if I recall correctly.. no place to sit inside.

Love the people here, the cookies are extra gooey, the ice cream is delish, and you wont regret any of it. The price is higher then average but its 100% worth it.

If I could leave less than one star I would. I ordered cookies more than two hours ago. Im sitting here two customer service calls later with no cookies, STILL. I placed my order, and then my dog had to poo. I checked the Cookie Tracker and it said they were still being baked, so I thought, Okay, great, I have time. I walked the dog and came back to three missed calls and a voicemail saying, Which apartment complex is it, I cant tell... Im just taking them back to the store, call customer service. So I call CS for the first time and am told they are being redelivered. I call them for a second time 40 MINUTES LATER when Ive still got no delivery... at that point Im told they didnt acknowledge the first request for redelivery. Im pissed and will never be giving my service to this group again. I would send an angry email to get coupons, but honestly I dont even want to deal with them anymore.

Another pricey cookie joint. Cookie are fresh with a nice selection to pick from. If You want something new and have a sweet tooth go for it.

Went to the vestal location and was turned away because I only had a $50. My order came to $16.00. So they would have only had to give me 34.00 back. So we ended up going to copper top for their cookie dessert a lot cheaper and fantastic. Your cookies are good but over priced and disappointing service.

Awful, absolutely awful. I placed an online order and here I am almost 2 hours later still waiting. They dont have a phone in the store which is ridiculous so calling the number takes you to the master customer service center. I will NOT being ordering again, just down right awful service and Im really not one to complain. Just glad I planned on paying with cash so I didnt waste any money.

I am only giving them one star because I cannot give them zero stars. I ordered a large party platter, and got a laughable box of 12 small cookies with a pint of ice cream which cost an unbelievable $37.01 including delivery. But wait, today when my husband reviewed the credit card statement, he found that they double charged me, although my receipt did not reflect this. I was incredibly disappointed in the quantity and quality, and when I called customer service, the woman merely stated, This is what you ordered. All I can say is, never again.

I currently work here and I am giving this rating because of many reasons. Being in the back of the restaurant, the people are constantly cleaning, obsessing over small details, and doing their best for reports. As of 11/17/2018, this location is currently ranked in the top 10 of the country for delivery time and I believe deserves it. Everyone is considerate and wonderful, plus there is extereme effort that goes into making sure cookies are cooked properly and that this buisness runs smoothly.

The website was a disaster!!!!! I tried to order for a surprise for my daughter who is a student. I will not be ordering from you unless you get your act together. AF

On multiple occasions I placed a late night order which was never delivered or took over two hours to finally arrive. One particular night, called multiple times and no one answered the phone. When someone finally picked up, I was told the delivery driver showed up and tried to call- a completely wrong number that I did not enter on the online order, and didn’t even try to knock on the door. I was assured it would be deliverered again, and they just never showed up. Their cookies are good but definitely not worth the horrible service. Waste of time.

The cookies are not good. I was curious as to why there was such a long line, and then I realized that the manager or shift lead was I guess the only person who could use the register? She kept leaving the register to make sure orders were together despite there being a staff of 5 other people in the store. I know its new, and I guess they are still trying to organize the store? But, the mall has better cookies. I think store bought cookies taste better. Dont waste your time.

Cookies are OK, prices are not. Cookies are just average tasting but initially seem better because they are warm. Its really hard to enjoy the cookie a la mode given thats its a cookie with 2 tablespoon size scoops of ice cream for nearly $7.

I havent ordered anything from this store, but I deliver. We get bogged down with work late at night plus campus traffic is thick which makes service much slower. Is it understaffed? Well thats not for me to decide. From an employee perspective, delivering for Insomnia is one of the easiest jobs. I take cash home each night.

Ordered one of the ice cream sandwiches and asked for a chocolate chip cookie and smores cookie. However, I was given a peanut butter cookie in replace of the smores cookies without notice and this isnt the first time it happened. Other than that its a great store.

DO NOT USE A CREDIT CARD!!!The cookies are amazing but be very aware of your credit card charges I placed one order for my fiancé’s birthday picked it up and was charged for it and when I checked my bank account the next day they charged me twice! Contacted customer service with the concrete proof that they double charged me and they will not reverse the other charge. Now I have to file fraudulent charges against them and will call the better business bureau. I wonder how many ppl they have double charged!!!

Place an order online for 2 dozen cookies. after an hour, I called the toll free number (due to the fact that there is not a local number) and was put on hold for almost 10 minutes. Then the customer service lady told me that they had just received a memo that their internet server was down and that they had not received any online orders since 10AM!!! This was at 3PM. That is very disappointing. I might be willing to stop by and make a purchase at the actual store, but I will not order delivery again.

Ordered at 12, by 3 nothing. Absolutely horrible customer service. Do not order from here. Itll be cheaper and take less time to go to a store and get the same thing. Plus youll actually have what you wanted. Or Waitr has a better option for cookies. Sorry but just an abysmal failure.

Had an easy time getting the cookies from the store... I see a lot of reviews complaining about slow delivery times and how the cookies never arrived and I cant comment on that as I didnt use the delivery service. Cookies were delicious and I would order them again.

We preordered, prepaid, arrived, and then waited in line for over an hour before finally giving up. I understand that it was busy, but we had already paid over an hour earlier and never got our cookies. We ended up going to Walmart and purchasing cookie dough to make our own, and still got them before some of the others in line.

I know for a fact that all their good reviews are made by the employees. Im not too concerned about the expensive price because its a gimmick, but the employees make it not worth it. The cookies take hours to arrive and sometimes gets cancelled and you have to jump through hoops just to get them. Its not rocket science Ive never had this issue with delivery before. The cookies are good, the service not so much…On more than one occasion, I have placed a small order online only to receive a call and be told that they dont have enough drivers to run my order, but that Im free to come pick it up.Most recently, I ordered at about 1:45 am and the manager called me to say that they had just received a huge 200 cookie order and that no drivers were able to come deliver my order. She told me I could come pick my order up (even though I already paid the delivery fee and driver tip on the app!) or cancel it.This experience is common at this Insomnia location. I would recommend getting your cookies elsewhere, or ordering for carryout from the get-go.

I was born on January 16th, 2017. The others told me I am a sugar cookie. I was baked for an eager customer. I could hear a palpable desire in his order; we locked eyes from across the room. I was only feet away, in the post-baked section of the store, waiting to be brought to the register. After an hour, I could see that the desire was fading from his face and in its place I saw frustration and resentment. Why the staff didnt take me the 12 feet from the kitchen to the register, I shall never know. He wanted to eat me and was anticipating my granular sugary sensation, but after cooling to near sub-zero temperatures, what was once the perfect sugar cookie, was turned into a mediocre lump of sugar and flour. I never saw him again. He never called back. I heard from a chocolate chip cookie that he is baking at home now, that, or he is going to Publix bakery.

Honestly i dont think i have ever been more dissapointed with customer service than my experience with insomnia cookie. I called for a pick up and was told that they where to busy to accept my pick up. So i walked over to the store and discovered that it wad actually empty and was able to get my order place and fulfilled in less than 5 minutes. To add insult to injury while i was in the store, that was still empty, i called to place an order for delivery and was told they where to busy.

Do you self a favor and walk three blocks to papa johns for good cookies that are affordable. Insomnia cookies has worse cookies for more money.

Tried to send cookies for someones birthday. Delivery folks wont knock on the door, they tell me. So it wasnt delivered even though the birthday person was there waiting! They tried to deliver again an hour and a half later, but the delivery person claimed he couldnt find the apartment building- its 300 feet from the store! I could have had the birthday person walk there in 5 minutes, but more than 3 hrs later, they still couldnt deliver and I had to cancel. No birthday cookies for us. Really unbelievable, its not that hard!! Customer service was nice and they tried to help but it was a disaster, overall.

Waited an hour and 30 minutes. Called customer support your order is up next waited another 30 minutes. Still baking. Call again order could be another 45 minutes. After 2 and a half hours of waiting I call again and ask for a refund and they say let me guess, youre from tuscaloosa I say yes and they say of course. I got my refund, but this is truly some of the worst customer service. Atleast hold in the sparky remarks when you are on the phone with the customers please.
