This is my favorite Dollar General. Love the staff. Always kind and helpful. They are like family to me.

A lot of variety packed into a fairly small building. If youre not familiar with DG Markets, theyre basically a smaller version of a Target/Walmart/etc., including food, liquor/beer, cleaning supplies, paper supplies, bath, OTC meds, etc.Ive tried to call this location several times in the past, but have never been able to get through to an employee..

Usually friendly employees, one employee is often rude but usually the others are polite. Nice to have a place to shop in 29. Cheryl is Rude rude rude. Worst employee ever award.New DG Market remodeling now open

The aisles are full of products on the floor and huge carts blocking aisles so people cant even maneuver around them. This is violation of ADA requirements. I was told noone wants to work so thats how it is.LOL its the managers job do it if they dont have help. Clear the aisles or get a complaint from the county

The place is alright and close to me.So this is really convenient.I only wish everything was dollar just like the dollar tree down the road.Or even better it was dollar tree instead of dollar general. Since it is so close to me.

Good place to shop Bargain prices! Food, clothing and almost everything else at discount price. Cat and dog foods, toiletries, clothing, etc. And the Clover Valley food products are Excellent quality for half the price 🥳 The cashiers are very helpful on your way out, as well as accurate, but keep in mind you wont be able to get any help while on the shopping floor, so know what youre shopping for and take your time browsing for what you need bcuz theres Always going to be a Line at registers. 😳Great place though👍✨🌈

The shopping experience is always delightful at every location I have had the pleasure to visit across the country. I am very grateful for the remote locations as well as the convenience of metropolitan areas. Big Fan!!

This store is clean, the employees go above and beyond ALWAYS! They have a large variety of merchandise, utmost though is their of customer service! Friendly, helpful, polite, and kind!

We have way too many dollar stores in the area, but this Dollar Tree has it all. I’m not a drinker, but they have surprisingly good deals on liquor. Staff is also always pleasant!

This place is so cool and clean they have almost every thing you need and the employees are very respectful

I have been here twice now due to currently living in a hotel, its clean and friendly with a big selection to include name brand hard liquor at a good price.

The staff is always so friendly...but the store is a wreck. Shelves are not stocked, and just super messy and crowded isles. We would love to see this cleaned up for our little town.

Kinda whack in there, shelves are pretty recked, lots of local tweaker wildlife. But if you need to stop here in 29 this is one of the more put together spots. Would not recommend going to the family dollar which is only other place then DG.

Dollar Général is a great store to go to they have great people skills and you dont have to wait very long before you have someone helping you . The only thing is that they could use help in keeping the ilse clear and a little more neater then the are

EDITED! The previous review with two stars was for Dollar Tree, NOT Dollar General. How that happened I have NO idea. Dollar General 29 Palms is an outstanding Store - except: Being a southern concern, theres no excuse for not selling grits or Cheerwine soda in this store - loses a star.

As always, I love DG although the employee today was just a crabby man. I realize we all have bad days, but its not the customers fault.

The employees are great. They greet me when I walk in, and always offer to help me find something. Everyone there is always friendly. Its not always a spotless store, but neither are larger stores with more staff. Ill continue to shop here.

They carry some brands that other stores do not.

I just sent this to Dollar Generals corporations site and the county of San Bernardino:I was just at your Twentynine Palms store, receipt #890246724235.9917415929410868484316321011 on 5 Aug 20 @16:52.The only employee at the registers was not wearing a mask. When he called me up to check out, I asked him to put on his mask. Instead of putting on a mask, he went and got a manager. The Manager jumped on another register and checked me out. I asked why dont you guys have to wear a mask. The manager replied I cant make anyone wear a mask. You are paying that employee to follow company rules which I just looked up and on your site saying employees wear mask. You guys even have mask required signs at the front doors and on every single isle end cap I will not be shopping at Dollar General again.

A large variety of things. Reasonable prices, and the checker was nice. A little bit of a wait as there was only checker and a few people in line.

I have recently been doing more shopping at this business as it has become more a poitive experience than the other dollars enterprises In town.I like that the staff are helpful,the layout is organized,prices are competitive and they have a good selection of product.I appreciate that staff react quickly to a sudden increase in customers checking out,adding more cashiers to get folks moving on with minimal wait time. I no longer dread running out to the store to buy milk quickly and get back home_intime formy daughter to use it for a new recipe. Good job $general.

Its a quick place to pick up items that you need at a lower cost,unless you cant find it even at Dollar General.

Cashier was nice but they false advertise. I picked items that were advertised at the shelf as 25% off but was charged full price. When I told the cashier she was nice and gave me $5 off but if I were to receive my 25% off I would have saved more. Watch your transaction to make sure you arent being overcharged.

I absolutely love this store. The reasons why is because the employees are nice,decent,cordial people who have always treated my wife,kindergarter daughter & myself kindly. Now I dont know about you,but Im not cleaning my backside with twenty dollar bills & its vital to make every cent count,Dollar General has prices on their merchandise that I can afford. Which is why I am a loyal customer.

They have good packaged items, but I wish they had fresh fruits and vegetables.

I was pleasantly surprised at the selection in the store. They have food, toiletries, clothing and other various items. Very nice staff as well. What was a bit disappointing is how customers treat the merchandise, at least pick up items when you knock them down or your children play with merchandise. Come on people others want to shop here too !!

One of my favorite stores in the area. Friendly, large variety, and prices are great. The male manager is unenthusiastic and miserable. The rest of the staff is great.

I have never even been to Twentynine Palms, but had a package shipping out of this fedex location. The staff was incredibly helpful and resolved my issues.

They have a cheap version of just about anything. You get what you pay for. They also usually open a second register once there are three or four people in line. The staff is usually friendly and helpful.

Needed boxes for some gifts I bought online, and they had a great selection at Christmas time. Have bought cleaning products also and they were full strength not watered down. Also bought some inexpensive document frames real reasonable.

Everyone was helpful. Greeted you with a smile. Let me know they were there if I needed anything.

I LOVED this store! We have since moved away but this was my favorite place in 29 when we lived there because it was the closest to us. They have a great selection on just about everything here. The store clerks are always friendly. I dont like l applied here 2 times yet I kept seeing new faces working here constantly, ah well.

Only 2 things I have to say is that the shopping carts are always out and about in the parking lot, I never can get one In front of the store and also there is not outside trash cans, thats why there is trash left by curbs etc

I couldnt find half the stuff that I was looking for that was advertised in the weekly ad, but what I did find had good prices. Close-by / convenient so I will be coming here again.

Another fully stocked Dollar General and when we spent a few days in the desert used for supermarket needs. Even had bananas and watermelons. Recommend indeed.

I picked up Western Union, some people who work there dont want to do that so somehow when they help something always goes wrong.

I saw a sign in their store 50% off, so I bought 4 of them. Next morning I go back, sign was still up 50% off, so I grabbed 4 more and I go to pay, but instead the cashier rings it up full price. I point out the sign and explain that I just bought the exact same thing literally hrs before and he tells me too bad thats the price. Um No it isnt, thats false advertisement and its actually unlawful... Stopped shopping here over dishonest and misleading pricing tactics.

Decor, variety, clean, well stocked service can be under enthusiastic at times.

Close to home, prices are sometimes better than the local grocery store And they have a good variety.

Good place to shop. Was not impressed with no one watching the register/front of the store to serve customers. Several customers waited well past five to seven minutes for someone to come to the cash register. Not good customer service by their employees this continues to go on.
