November 2, 2021.Blue Store burgers went south of excellent when a meat change happened.(This critique comes from 25 years worth of eating at Blue Store Burgers)The hamburgers went from excellent to below average....Was a time when Blue store served excellent hamburgers with fresh ground meat from Sams. The fresh hamburger patty made for an excellent hamburger......NOW...Now, Blue store uses a dry frozen patty. The meat is tough and tastless...more like roughly the taste and texture of cardboard...I promise...Not like it used to be.The great taste is gone. Five of us adults all agreeded on the low quality of our last purchased burgers from Blue store being Nov. 2, 2021.Until such time as Blue store goes back to fresh ground tasty patties from Sams, my burgers will come from somewhere else.The cooks remain courteous at Blue Store...as slways.Come on Blue Store...you can do better...Have done better.

Omg the burgers are so good! If I remember correctly the lady taking my order was a little abrupt, but nothing crazy and honestly I couldnt care less because that burger was so good! I cant speak to their other foods, but man that burger! Seriously best burger Ive ever had.

Stopped here after a heavy day of moving and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and overall experience. All the employees were extremely nice and very welcoming. Ordered three hamburgers with sides and got them all in a timely manner. Very delicious smash style burger. Would come here again with friends!!!

Iconic local gas station and eatery near the lake. Could really use an update to give it better egress, bathrooms, and food prep area.

The older cashier woman with blonde hair needs to watch her attitude. my left arm is paralyzed and all I did was ask for a bag for my drinks and she got an attitude with me. ...wont be spending my money here anymore with employees who treat people like that.

The food was delivered much quicker than you would expect. These girls in the kitchen are on the ball. The hamburgers are a step above everyone elses. I could say more but, you need to go check them out for yourself.

The only reason I’m writing a review is because of the customer service of one person in particular. I do not know her name but I do know that she is the older blonde lady that’s a bit heavy set. I went in to break a $100 bill and she acted like I asked her do to the hardest thing. She had a bad face on after I asked and her tone was as if I annoyed her, I asked for 2 $10 bills and the rest can be whatever. She said she didn’t have $10 bills when I saw a pile sitting in the drawer. So I got all $20s instead. Then she told me “you know, there’s a bank across the street”. You know, if I wanted to go to the bank I would have. So moral of the story… don’t go here. If they have a hard time breaking change then I bet they’d have a hard time doing literally anything else.

I came here with my Grandmother and the food was good but the cashier weren’t the best. I decided to come back a few days later (yesterday) with my husband because I enjoyed the food. We spend around $40 on food when I went to pay the cashier was very rude. Was even ruder when I came back in to ask for a few toothpicks. The cashier huffed her breath and very annoyed gave me one toothpick; I proceeded to tell her that I needed one more please and she huffed again and rudely gave it to me. I can admit I did roll my eyes at her and I almost had the mind to go back inside and return all my food. They seemed really bothered from the beginning taking my order but were very nice to other customers who were of a different hue. THEY WILL NEVER GIVE THIS PLACE ANOTHER CENT

I guess i thought i was the only one with getting bad customer service at this store but after reading the reviews I’m not surprised. I stopped for some drinks and the cashier was very rude!!! I was looking forward to bringing my family for dinner after the Waterpark but she definitely changed my mind after the service she provided. I’m not going back at all! We talked to the owner she didn’t care. Very Sad!#🐷

Ive eaten at the Blue Store for 18yrs and not one time have I had a bad experience. Staff has always been polite and eager to serve. The various types of food available makes it easy to treat your tastebuds. Seating areas are 2 indoor and one outside.

Those ppl that work in there are the most rudest and unkind ppl that I have ever seen in my life... there food is horrible.. it was by far the worst burger I have ever ate...my husband and I will never go back there....

From the start the lady who took our order was pretty rude she seamed bothered to take our order, once we finally got our order our burgers where cold . the cashier was the nices person in this place . shes the only reason Ive rated this place 3 stars .

Best Burgers in the Tyler area hands down! Eat here, stop supporting Chicago owned Whataburger who wont even let you eat inside!UPDATE 9/1/21: They stopped making their own meat patties and use some frozen garbage meat now. Burgers are pretty terrible now. Go to Jucys instead. Pricey but worth it

Visited tonight been awhile since we went in. Wont be back. Staff was rude, food was not up to their standards in the past. Food quality has dropped, burger buns were burnt, soggy. Had one slice tomato on each burger. Now 1/2 size they used to be. Meat was dry, no jalepenos we ordered on burger and prices way to high. 51.00 for 3 burgers, 2 sides of peach cobbler that used to be great, now it was yucky and tastes was like it sat in steamer all day. Most crust was burnt.No up keep on store at all and way over priced!!!We wont be back,

Consistency is the key on all foods- but most importantly your bbq sandwiches. Depends on who’s making the sandwich as to one scoop or two of meat. White girl needs find different job than here. No offense- just straight forward. Hispanic grill lady with wig is rude- and white girl right there with her.I was here yesterday and the (different than today) hispanic ladies serving food were perfect and nice and made a $7 bbq sandwichNot a $3 one like i got today.

The cheeseburger is why I go here, but truly everything they offer is amazing. The tamales are good, the steaks are good, the banana pudding is good; its all good. I know its gas station food but I bring all my out of state friends here. I live 40 minutes away and still come here when I have a cheeseburger itch that just wont be scratched by anything else.

Its a rare thing that a burger is made to my liking. This one is just how I like it!Paper thin patties, seasoned well, and plenty of toppings.Just over $8 for burger, fries and an xlarge drink. Tastes like home cooking.

I have done business with this place for over 15 years even though they are 20% higher than the next closest convenience store. Stop in and grab a few things and go on because I like the people there. They just started putting a minimum on credit/debit charges of $4/transaction. This is rediculous. I understand the costs to a retailer for accepting credit cards, but that is just a cost of doing business you have to account for. They are already making more than their share in margin on the prices they charge...but really?!?!...now a minimum dollar amount on CC transactions?

Lunch Special was excellent! The tortillas were fresh. All for under $9. Service was spectacular.

Only saving grace is there better then average hamburgers. Wouldn’t do or get anything else there.

I was in vacation in the area and was given this recommendation. Its a gas station and grocery store and grill. The staff were nice and helpful and the food was out of this world good. Wish this place was near my home.

The best and I mean the best food all around, great people, great food. If youve never had the breakfast there, then you are missing out. Heuvos Rancheros is awesome. Refried beans are the worlds best. I eat there every chance I get. Family atmosphere.
