Absolutely love cracker barrel.Had the blueberry pancakes and blueberry syrup i love the syrup bottles so freaking cute I usually rinse out take home and use my glitter in them. Best place for a good old fashion meatloaf too. Wish there was a closer location in Tyler,Texas though.

Typically, I love southern cooking. There’s not much that will actually screw up a well dressed Chicken fried chicken, green beans & fried okra. It wasn’t that I was not impressed, just over all it was lacking. The best part is going into the shopping portion of the restaurant. They have beautiful selection of candies, clothes, toys, quilts, seasonal have to haves. Their selection is NEW “vintage”, we love it. It’s typical pricing for a name brand, well known kitchen. It’s still on the expensive side, to say the least.

We always enjoy coming here. The staff is friendly and professional. The food is delicious. Their store has such a variety of items and is always enjoyable to walk through and find something to buy!

A young man seated us, got our drink order, brought our drinks and took our order. My husband ask for biscuits and cornbread. In a very short time, a waitress brought our food out and again we ask for bread.The fried fish was more like mush. It was like they took frozen breaded fish and popped it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. The breading on the fried okra was also like raw dough. I couldnt eat anything. We had to go to the hostess to ask for our bill because no one seem to care that we were finished. We had been waiting while several waitresses stood there talking to each other.We told the girl that checked us out how bad the food and service were. She offered to get some to go bread since our attemps to get bread had all failed. She also offered to get a manager for us, but I was so upset that we paid our bill and left.This is not the first bad experience we have had at this location. My sister refuses to go back after our last visit.

Always a gratifying, pleasant adventure. The staff is attentive, polite, and the food is wonderful. I find it hard to not begin shopping as soon as I walk in the door! I wish I lived closer!.

This Cracker Barrel has been here for years. They have maintained the building and kept it clean. I still love the Glazed Grilled Chicken. Its my favorite on the menu.Everyone was nice and professional; from the receptionist and waitress to the cashier. My meal was 12.00.

We love stopping at Cracker Barrel when RVing. They always (as far as we know) have RV parking. They will often let you park overnight, and that food is excellent! I had one of their new, seasonal items; the Maple Bacon Grilled chicken with a baked potato and hash brown casserole. Fabulous! Ive attached pictures of Cheerwine, and Pool Gumballs, stuff my older son would find interesting.

A great place to have breakfast while traveling with our family of 6. We had a small wait about 15-20 min while we browsed the store. The food selection was excellent and had something for everyone. Large portions made sure everyone was full and made for a great start to the day. One thing could have been better, my coffee cup only got filled one time during the meal, water was provide as well but would have preferred another cup of coffee or 2.

We both ordered breakfast. The food was wonderful. As usual, I took half of mine with me, to go. The biscuits were just like grandmas!!!! We also bought little mementos for the kiddos... A fun, very busy, place to visit.

Went there with my kids today. We were having a great time until the kids had to go to the bathroom. Being a single Dad and my oldest being 6 I had to take them all at once. When I come out of the bathroom less than 10 minutes later our table had been cleared and our food was gone. I was barely into my food and my kids had plenty left as well. Except the 6yr old, he devoured his while I was cutting up the other food. The waitress was nice enough to give me some to go drinks but I left with an empty stomach and a bill for food I largely didnt get to eat. The waitress and cashier were both made aware of what happened. In the end I got the kids some candy because they were upset they didnt get to finish their pancake. Its ridiculous that my food was just thrown away like that when I didnt even have a check from the waitress yet. Especially when the people at the stand saw me walking towards the bathroom and saying potty time.Edit: I reached out as asked weeks ago and still have not heard back from Cracker Barrel

The quality of food was lacking .... undercooked scrambled eggs, salty pork chops and our order was missing biscuits and gravy.Too many restaurants have raised their prices, but the quality of food has dropped.

Always great food here. I love their chicken and dumplings, pinto beans, and mac n cheese. My mother loves their salads and my dad chows down on their hamburger steak with fries. Its all yummy!

The weight was not very long and my server was very hospitable. the only thing that I was severely disappointed in was the size of my chicken fried steak. Were in the state of Texas and no one serves a chicken fried steak the size of your palm. Chicken fried steak is always a meal thats guaranteed to serve a large hunk of meat or you will feel full after dining. When I left cracker barrel tonight I was still hungry and had to grab something else to eat. This just should not happen. Look at the meat it looks like a side item.

Great breakfast. There about 10AM. 20 minute wait, not bad for a party of 5. Friendly and attentive staff. Have stopped here many times and will again.

This is one of those places that you can eat Southern comfort food, feel at home, get full for the whole day, and not worry about putting a strain on your bank. Definitely worth coming back to.

The last 4-5 I have eaten at (and these were all across the southern US from the West coast to the East coast) were pretty bad and the service was horrible. I havent been to one in about a year and was ready to just write them off as a lost cause, but I am glad I decided to give them another chance. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good (like most Cracker Barrel food) and the service was excellent. Maybe I was just having a streak of bad luck there for awhile going through a dry spell. So, Cudos to this particular restaurant, from cook to waitress to checkout. Job well done!!, and Thank You.

Their panckakes taste like they are about to burn but they dont. Their butter is delicious. I had their fried chicken with eggs. Them eggs taste like yolks in a bottle from Walmart no flavor no special at all. They have a gift shop with overpriced stuff and Soo much stuff in there will get you alittle dizzy. Overall resent food .

Food was not great green beans and corn must have come straight from a can. Meat loaf was dry. Not sure what happened to there quality it use to be pretty good. We will start visiting other restaurants even if we have to drive further.

The food was avarege, I didnt finish my plate. I actually wasnt very impressed with the food. It was by no means bad food. I didnt feel a need to tell the person I was visiting in Mineola my inner experience. He felt Cracker Barrel was the best food in the area. A lot of lifes joy comes from fulfilled expectations. Maybe he over hyped this restaurant for me.Trying to be constructive, the sweet cooked apples were not as crisp as I like. I was excited to try real southern grits but I didnt realize I was supposed to fix it up with pepper and other condiments. Maybe putting out a kit of grits fixings along with the dish would be a good compromise to please both local and visiting patrons. I get the impression it would be a bad idea to mess with peoples grits.

Great service, food and shop! We enjoyed the gift shop and the old fashioned candy varieties. The food was priced well and tasty. We had an attentive and friendly waitress.

Was so fast, meatloaf was good. Tea glasses were small. Mashed potatoes were creamy, larger tea glasses a must to my heart.

So as everyone can imagine now that the mask mandate has been laid-back, more people are out and about. Today we swung by on our way home from our long trip to and from Fort Worth. They were pretty busy and there was a 15 minute wait for seating. It did give us time to look around the store at all the amazing things they have! And of course a few dozen no you may not have that to our 2 year old! Lol 😆. The staff was friendly and welcoming, they got us seated as soon as they could. Our waitress was friendly and got our order in quickly! We all ordered breakfast 😋 from pancakes and bacon 🥓 to a good old country boy breakfast with eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy 😋. All of food was amazing and we walked away nicely satisfied with a few leftovers!! Great job 👏

We walked in and WOW the gift shop was beautiful smelled FANTASTIC to..we broused for few couldnt stop looking..the host that took us to our table he was very pleasent..but now wish I could remember her name she was AWSOME couldnt be better she needs a raise..maybe they can look at my ticket find her name..will DEFINITELY BE BACK..

The food was good, the waitress was attentive, but the bathrooms need a total rehaul and thorough cleaning. Appeared to be urine on the floor running along the grout of the tile behind the toilets, yuck smeared on the wall near the changing table, it just looked dirty.

If you want grandmas cooking, Cracker Barrel is the place to go. Wonderful home cooked food that you dont have to cook yourself. Love this place.

I love this home style feel of this particular Cracker Barrel....Im pleased to say Laura the check out lady helped me carry my things to the car because I had my nine month old boy in tote. Plus Joey my server was absolutely amazing. The selection of home goods and trinkets were phenomenal. I highly recommend stopping here for over the top service. And a large number of smiling faces.

Ive lived in Tyler Texas 5 months. I missed the barrel.. my babe takes me here any Sunday we get off together. I know this industry is in peril rn as Im also in this business. Every time we r in here the servers are awesome and though she doesnt have to apologize the hostess always does for wait times. Almost makes me want to work here. Im a bartender though and I dont think you guys need that. I love this location so so much

We came in a little before 8. Our server Sydney was very obviously trying to rush us out. I work in customer service so I get wanting to get home as soon as possible, however we had PLENTY of time before the restaurant actually shut down. We weren’t the only people in the store, and in fact people were still being seated when we left. As we were being seated, she rolled her eyes when she saw it was in her section. After our food came out, the only time we saw her again was when she dropped the check off. When we asked for a refill on tea she suggested we grab to go drinks instead. The food was alright, it was just annoying that we were rushed the entire time. We won’t be coming back.

I love the atmosphere here. You end through a gift shop area which has so much to look at while you wait for your table and theres a candy area where they have old school candy back when we were kids. Its really laid back and basically comfort food. Its delicious. Usually I have good service here and an attentive waiter or waitress. They have a kid menu which comes with crayons too.

The waitress Caroline who served me was impeccable! She was friendly, very fast when it came to getting my drink and food out to me even though it was packed which I understood. Horrible togo service. girl had no clue her name was Elizabeth she actually didn’t know anything we would ask one question and she had to go ask her manager or someone else everytime and on top of all the she hung up on me mid order. finally got to speak to a manager and he had an attitude because i was trying to figure out if she even got the order. which she didn’t even get it correct and told us the wrong information on the bread. We tried placing online first and that was a disaster as well. They need to hire people awho actually know the menu. wish i could leave zero stars. Worst food ordering experience i’ve ever had. She even had the nerve to correct me whenever i said something wrong. I worked In the food industry and this is embarrassing. Truly horrible

We went to Cracker Barrel for dinner this evening, on November 29. We had an exceptional experience. We had our 3 young children with us. Our waiter, Caroline went above and beyond to accommodate our family. She was so fantastic with our children. She offered to pie buy for our children, which we politely declined but we greatly appreciated the offer. Our kids absolutely enjoyed their experience because Caroline was so fun and engaging with them.

This is my first time in this locations. Guess what,they hit me hard with Mississippi accent 😍,but love it.

Down home food that is absolutely excellent! Thw country fried steak was wonderful, the baked mac and cheese was to die for and the fried apples were a dream! Service was fantastic and our server was very friendly and attentive. Definitely one of my wife and Is go to places. We went around 4 on a Saturday so it was not that busy. And the shop is fun to browse around too. If you are in the neighborhood go by you will not be disappointed!
