We purchased a $30,000 smoker less than 6 months ago. It is crumbling to pieces. The first thing to go was the lights, (which melted from the heat of the smoke pit). The steel is extremely cheap and not able to withstand high temperatures without warping or becoming discolored. The electrical is completely broken...the lights do not come on when plugged into power. NOW today, the trailer BROKE!!!! We cannot even pull the trailer!!! UNACCEPTABLE for the price we paid for this JUNK!!! It is pretty much worthless less than 6 months later!!! What a JOKE of a “business.” Maybe we should sue... this seems criminal!! We could have killed someone towing this thing if it broke off while driving! EAST TEXAS SMOKE CO. IS A JOKE! Oh yes, I almost forgot... the Welding is dangerously unprofessional on this thing. My father has a machine shop and about died when he saw the shoddy welding!

Called and left 4 voicemails. Emailed several times and filled out their contact us page about a potential build for our company rig were needing to get set up and could not get a response. I know they build a good rig but even Jambo called back.

Once you make your purchase do not expect any support for problems. The grill is to heavy for the axel. They did respond to a couple of my emails. But they never did anything to help me get a new axel. Liitle front casters are shot. Sent me big casters. How nice, I do not have a welder to replace them. Very poor welds in the wagon wheels,, at the smoke stack. Been months and there is so much heat escaping around the door. The fire box door has to be lifted up to get it open. I would not buy my last breath of air from this place. You can see in the photos the smoke stack is poorly welded. On start up there is sweat. The moisture drains on through the shody weld. Drains and drips on my cement deck. What a mesh. See the aluminum pan with the dirty, staining water. So sad they have promised me a resolution but have NEVER done anything they promised. Stay away from this business! BUYER BEWARE!

East Texas Smoker Co is not normal! They are Sick! They are sinister! They are wildly abnormal! They are FAMILY!!! I worked with Clint and Morgan for almost a year designing Red Force One! They believed in my dream, I saw their passion and trusted his vision! What did they give me in return? A dream come true! One that I’ve already put to use in 6 events that helped create the memories that will last a lifetime! A pizza oven from Marra Forni, surround sound, TVs., smoker, rib vault, Santa Maria grill.... there’s nothing else to add! Thank you for believing in me and transforming my crazy ideas to a dream come true!

My wife and I contacted ETSC in May 2019 with a custom pit in mind. Morgan and Clint were more than helpful with the design. They provided amazing customer service throughout the process as well as updated pics of their progress. This really meant alot to ease any concerns we may have had because we were located in Kingston, Ontario Canada. We drove 26 hours to Tyler Texas not having seen the smoker in person. Upon our arrival, Morgan greeted us and was super sweet. ETSC was so organized with all of the documents and paperwork necessary for us to import across the border. Overall, the experience from initial contact till when we picked up the smoker was fantastic.Clint walked us though the burning in process as well as provided some good tips when using the pit.Now the good part...Upon getting my new custom pit finally home after another 26hr drive, I fired it up for an 8 hr burn in period . The ETSC pit did not disappoint. It was very easy to use and held 225 to 240 degrees with no worries at all. Firing up ribs tommorow for its first cook.! we are very excited.We did a ton of research for the 6 months leading up to making this purchase and were looking at several other companies in the US such as Lang, Shirley Fabrication, Gator pits and ultimately went with East Texas Smoker Company. We have no regrets and would 100% make the same decision again. We are super happy with the smoker and hope others call Clint and Morgan to have the same experiencJesse and Liz RobertsonKingston, Ontario
