We came to Academy Homes and we where very fortunate to have Michael as our sales associate. After losing our home in a fire a few months earlier he made the shopping and buying process very easy. So I will try to make this as short as possible. I went in to Buy a home for my parents. All started great. Spoke with Al the Sales rep which was a great guy made the process pleasant and straight forward. I was in and out in a few days. This is were I literately thought I was in a nightmare. The home was set to be delivered 4 weeks later. Due to the whether it was pushed out a week. no big deal. The home gets to the concrete pad that it is going to be set up on and right away I noticed it is not what was in the Pictures. So I called and told AL that is this not the home i seen in the pictures he told me that is the home you bought. This home had a flat roof. The home that I bought had a peck over the front door. that was issue number one. 2. the home was not leveled correctly so that opened a hole bunch of issues like the front door not being able to close, the floor had waves in it, the siding had a big wave in it, the windows would not open. I told them that the home is not level and they told me that it was level and they needed to adjust everything. long story short after 3 new installs of flooring, 2 new front doors and, replaced all front siding on the home. They came back out to check the level to find out we were right the home was out of level and 4 months of back and forth being lied to by the so called manager Kelly that we will have someone out that never showed on the day that was told to us. All in All I hope I am the only one that has to deal with issues like this. it took from April 8th 2019 to July 31st 2019 to get almost all issues fixed. Word of advise get all communication in email so that you have a leg to stand on with this place. !!!!!!! I Changed my review rating only because you was courteous enough to reply to me. For that I thank you. !!!!!!!!!!

Micheal outstanding, was so Patient and willing to take his time with us even though things seems to go down hill he was still working on things! Thank you Michael soooo much for your patience and kindness and he’s great business man but also has that friend attitude that makes you want to have dinner with ya one night lol! My husband and I purchased our home with the help of the Michael, one of the salesman there at Academy. We could not have been happier- even when things got a little bumpy (as they do when buying a home, especially as a first time home buyer), Michael was incredibly level-headed and resourceful, and was so fast to resolve anything that came up. He really felt like our advocate. His communication was on point, and he made the process so painless and broke it down so that it didnt feel overwhelming. I cannot say enough good things; Michael was by far and away the best customer service we have ever received. We live out of town and used Academy Homes to buy a home closer to where we were moving. Michael made the home buying process super easy for us. The communication was well established and effective from the beginning till the house was finished, delivered, and completely set up. The price was also great for everything the company offers.

They have limited inventory due to covid but what they had was nice. I will be checking back as inventory is received

Great experience from start to finish. I was a little nervous at first because I only have a little bit of credit. The salesperson explained everything so I could understand and it might sound crazy, but I was able to get approved one week and my deal was done and got my house the next week. I would tell any of my friends or co workers to go there.

We shopped several places before deciding on our home from Academy. Bryan Barkalow was really good at showing us as many houses as we wanted and making sure we are happy with our purchase. I would recommend them to ANYONE.

I am grateful to these folks for helping us get our home. It was not a easy deal. There were many instances when our salesmen could have said, Sorry, I have done all, I am able to do. but, to his credit Bryan Barkalow didnt give up on us. He went to bat for us also. Another rare thing, he was available after the sale. Took care of some delivery related issues with contractors.

Michael the salesman that I spoke with was very knowledgeable, and most of all customer friendly, and hes genuine.

Started off great with salesman, but once they had our papers signed, a whole new experience. Rude and not helpful at all. Transport and sales staff assume it is our responsibility to cut trees on a county road. Several other transport drivers said roadway was plenty clear. These people will smile on your face, the turn around and stab you in the back while making snide comments. The only good thing I can say is the prices are great. Guess you get what you pay for. We will Not be recommending them to anyone!

DONT EVER USE THEM.. this place is a joke they told us we got the house and we put $13,000 on a place just for them to give us the go round for 2 weeks then we finally said we want our money back and now they told us we can pick it up on Friday 2 weeks later we still dont have our money. The day we are suppose to go pick it up then they go and said they mailed it. I live in Arizona and 1300 is sitting in my mail box. What a jock for 4 weeks they have had my 13000 and wont give it back I would never use them they tell you what you want to hear to get you in there liers dont give them any money tell you sign a contract
