This is my new favorite place! All around quality service and food. I always order the corn quesabirria and it is the best. Good flavor and they have best consome broth. What I appreciated is the owner and staff treat you like family. If you have not tried this place, go right now! Its addictive.

Great place. The food that make on site is fantastic. The super friendly staff remembered me after only one visit. My wife liked it because they had a couple of hard to find items. I had take out but want to eat there next time.

It’s very easy to order online and pick it up. Pick up with such a breeze and they were so nice to even help bring it out to my car everything was wrapped perfectly so it did not spill in the car and the tacos were amazing and cooked to perfection we ended up going back a second time to get them delivered. This place is like a grocery store so I don’t believe you can eat there. But it’s a good local taco spot that I recommend it to everyone!

Since today is National Taco Day we finally had the chance to try their Quesabirria tacos! Holy moley they are what my dreams are made of 😍. The tacos were HOT and fresh and huge. There were 4 on my plate and the cup of consomme to dip them in. Did I mention they were hot. I burned my fingers trying to dip my taco right away....it was truly love at first bite! So tasty. Ive never tried it but knew I would like it from other reviews Ive read and man was I right. The owner Armando came out and talked to us! He was super nice and wanted to know how everything was. My husband cleaned his plate and I had two of mine to go! I cant wait to go back. Yummy!Ps- they just started selling dozens of tamales, dont forget to get those too! (Sold by the dozen of course)

Excellent Birria tacos. 2nd time in two weeks coming here. Spoke with the owner while they were making the food and he’s a really nice guy. You can tell he has a lot of passion for his business. He even offered to bring it out to my truck so I could sit with my newborn. Nice to have a place that serves this type of food in our neighborhood. I’ll keep coming back!

The birria quesadillas are huge! Very authentic crave worthy flavors.Not impressed withe the refried beans though. They looked somewhere between white and gray; were runny; and had zero flavor.

I will argue with anyone that puts below 5 stars. No, I’m dead serious. The Corn Quesabirria is so delicious! These are the best I have found in San Antonio. I will definitely be back.

Friendly people but the tamales were dry and overpriced at 8 $ a half dozen . Totally white mass lacked flavor and the pork was ground up to so fine it was like sawdust . Never again . Size means nothing if they have no taste

Very authentic. Small Mexican meat store that makes about 7-10 food items. Has Mexican soda also. I had 4 street tacos 1/2 Carne 1/2 carnitas. We also had the tacos you dip in soup juice? OMG

Quesabirria is great. Like the consome enough to order extra to have by itself. Street tacos and quesadillas are good, too. Nice selection of products in the market. Owners very friendly and welcoming, great service. Want to try the ramen next, but want the quesabirria again, too. Decisions, decisions :)

Best tamales in town hands dow 🙌🏼I work around the area and I decided to stop by last weekend as I saw this new place on social media.I got a pint of menudo and decided to go adventurous and try the tamales.. “ just to give it a try”. I got a dozen of “ pork” and another of “ Rajas”. I was not disappointed at all. The texture, the flavor and even the size were beyond delicious. The menudo was actually pretty good as well, but I got hooked with the tamales. Most definitely coming back! Price, service and flavor was excellent.

Food is amazing! If you havent been here you definitely need to try it. You can also buy meats for your family BBQ. The people are good people and are very helpful!

This spot is closer to my house and the birria was soooo good! The tacos were very meaty and the consomé was PERFECT. I will be coming back for sure.

Tried for the first time today and it was delicious! Girls working the front were sweet and helpful. They have lots of items from Mexico! But the food was the best part. Tamales, gorditas, and birria were awesome! Definitely recommend 😊

I had never heard of birrias before so I had to come try the quesabirria tacos here. The owner and his son are SO friendly! Our tacos came out hot and fresh and WOW they were delicious!!! It’s the kind of taco where you don’t even breathe while you’re eating it cause you can’t wait until your next bite. It’s not spicy at all so it’s great if you want Mexican food without the kick. For all you spicy fans, it comes with a delicious fresh hot sauce on the side! Great market to get fresh Mexican goods, beer, and candy, too! Love this place!

I went to see this knew Mexican store. They sell homemade food for to go as well. The barbacoa and menudo were excellent. The owners were very friendly and the place was very clean. I am definitely going back.

Thought we’d try. Was looking forward to eating. I’m so sorry for this review. Tortillas were hard and rubbery. We had to peel off the hard parts to even eat it. Menudo flavor was off, very watery. Ate a couple bites and threw it out. For the price we paid which was over $30. For a 1lb of Barbacoa it came without tortillas. So I had to buy a lb of tortillas and paid for them. All we usually need is just about 10. Waste of food. Bean and cheese tacos, and a large menudo. Expensive and actually threw out all the food. My kids didn’t even eat it. 😭

Today we buy Delicious Barbacoa for the third time, we highly recommend go and try authentic Mexican food.

Tamales, menudo and Flour tortillas.I am obsessed with those three items from los tapatíos! I consider myself very picky for all of them, to find a place that has all three that are amazing is a game changer! Tortillas are handmade and so soft! Menudo is just the right amount of spice and flavorful and tamales hands down the best in San Antonio! Not only is the pork well seasoned, but the masa is outstanding. No small, rinky-dinky tamales these are real tamales!

We absolutely loved the delicious barbecue and homemade salsas from Los Tapatíos! It was so hearty and there was very little oil, which is what we look for most. We were fascinated by the delicious barbecue and sauces of the Tapatíos! The meat was very low in fat.
