The most important reason why I would recommend target to a friend or family member is because of the superior service! I shop where people care about who I am And the community in which they serve. Target does all of that and so much more..

Usually there are good bargins at Target, but some items are not available.

I was in a bit of a dilemma when trying to find a particular childrens game. Garrett Cole, a University Heights Target employee, was eager to help me solve my dilemma. He took the time out of this work schedule to search all of the places that could have had this game. Our last stop, the clearance isle, had 9 of these games still remaining on the shelf. I went home happy thanks to Garrett!!!

Horrible location first off. Youd think a double floored Target would be nice, but if you walk in this one & youll be sadly mistaken. Its not stocked, at all, drinks, clothes, wrapping paper Nothing. Employees are rude, but youll get that in a ghetto area. Def will be going to the richer area Targets.

Ordered some canned goods for drive up the other day after starting a job working 12hr days. A couple items got cancelled from the order -- it happens. Waited 10 minutes for an order pickup associate to bring my stuff out to the car -- again, it happens. But when I got home there were items missing that Id been charged for and now I have to go through a refund process as well as deal with getting groceries again even though I dont have time to.Just check to make sure you get all your stuff before you leave, I guess. Maybe it got left behind and wasnt carted up, idk, I was just tryna make soup.

Temperature in store too hot! They are conserving energy & air conditioning so you are sweating in there on a 60 degree day!

Target is the best place to shop for college student to fill up all essentials in dorms and apartments!

Whomsoever the store manager is, needs to be fired! This store has went down the hill and crashed! We are in a pandemic, and groceries shelves are EMPTY! Let me say it again, EMPTY! Why do I see other employees playing, laughing around in the clothing department? If anything, the store manager should put 80% employees to the groceries department before, or during early open hours to restock their shelves! People are shopping for FOOD! NOT PILLOWS AND DRESSES!

Only one person was trained for returns and we were the seventh person in line. We spoke to the manager and she clearly told us that no one else was trained for returns. Not to mention the carts that were overflowing with returns that had never been put back out on the floor. It wasn’t fair to the employee to be that swamped and overwhelmed and for the manager’s lack of concern for her employee.This target is located on Cedar Road in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

Ordered an item for pickup. At the service desk there was a sign showing the line for pickup, and I was the first and only customer in that line. I left after 15 minutes of waiting and being ignored by the one employee processing returns.This store was not busy. There is no excuse for offering in store pickup and not providing any staff for that purpose. Last time I shop there.

Fast and easy pickup. Item was not on the store shelf, but I was able to order it online. Now I know I can bypass the long line and pick up when I am able to.

I like going Target. This Target is near college and sometime they are little slow in restocking some of the merchandise especially the sale items.

The store is clean and organized but its also very empty. I have LOTS of pictures of their empty aisles. Many people disputed the bad reviews about the empty shelves so Ive provided proof. Ive posted two pictures below just to show that its extremely empty in more than one section. The parking structure looks dark and abandoned but I dont think Target controls the entire parking garage. I still gave three stars because I love the self checkout option!

Ordered online for a drive up order, last minute school supplies. They had everything I needed and came to my car within 2 minutes of me driving up. No wait time at all. Glad they are less than 5 minutes from home.

Worst Target ever. Never more than one or two lines open which are always backed up. Including self checkout. Customer service is extremely rude and unhelpful. Everytime Im in the store regardless of the time of day. Its not worth the aggravation.

They have a phone number but no one answers it. Called several times, several departments, no one answers. Horrible. I shopped there a day ago and came home to find I was missing some items. Have tried calling to no avail.

Good selections and the pick up was smooth and easy

At this time (May 2020), I try to shop as seldom as possible for essentials because of current Covid19 concerns.. Yesterday my first shopping trip in 2 weeks was very encouraging. I would estimate 95+% of the customers, and all of the employees were wearing masks and social distancing. I dont know if thats always the case, but yesterday everyone there was exhibiting respectful and considerate behavior.

Ah, double decker Target. What should be a cool spot is ruined by the lackluster shelves that are rarely stocked and always disheveled. I usually find what I’m looking for, and staff is generally nice and accommodating. Crumbling infrastructure around the Target has made the parking deck a little hectic.

Empty shelf’s, only two cashiers working and I hate that cart elevator thing. Only go if you need a pick up they are great with that.

Today, I felt uncomfortable shopping. I went to target to get my daughter some clothes. I overheard a sale floor representive tell their co worker to keep their eyes open and dont be blind sided. I just felt like I was being watched and they were racial profiling.I just wanted to shop in peace.

It was my first experience doing something like this and it was very simple and the Target employee who helped me was very sweet. Im also so happy you had that delicious peppermint bark. I loved it so much that I saved the box from last year in the hope that youd have it again. Mmmm good!

This target was very clean and the staff were amazing. We were just there picking up a few things and this was actually the first one I have been into that had an escalator which I found very cool. I have never actually seen one with that! They had everything we were looking for and more. The store was clean and everyone was very helpful.

Staff is rude and not friendly. They barely acknowledge you while they are checking you out or at customer service. Building is dirty and never stocked. Employees stocking the shelves block the aisles and act annoyed if you need something around them. Always a line at the checkouts because there is never enough cashiers. I now go out of my way to avoid this store.

Drive up is incredible. I would give five stars just for that!Aside from that, though, things are often out of stock when they say on the app they’re in stock.Checking out is slow so I always use self checkout when I have to go inside.My returns have been fine.

5/16- JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS THEY DON’T HAVE SWITCHES! We drove an hour to get here because online they said they did and they aren’t taking phone calls about product. So before you drive an hour, they don’t have any.

Order was ready fairly soon after I made it and was brought to my car immediately upon my arrival.

Store is clean and well laid out, prices and grocery selection are good, and the employees were kind. Parking situation is a bit odd though.

I placed an order online for pickup, and ensured availability through calling them, my order was cancelled for not being in stock 2 hours after placing it. I called them twice, once before placing the order, and again after placing the order. The gentleman in electronics was rude on the phone when I called the to confirm availability. I wont be back as this store has lost my trust. The customer service did not seem to care as well.

Drive up service was so fast and easy. I hate shopping in stores so this service was perfect for me to avoid the crowds. Will definitely use again.

I love Target, but the University Heights store needs to make some changes. I feel awful for the cashiers and people at customer service. There are always long lines, and the self-checkout always needs someone overseeing because it is constantly having issues.

The parking garage is almost completely blocked off, and only a small number of cars can park in the few spaces that are open on the main level of the store. I had to drive up to the top level of the garage and park a long way from the entrance. There was a pathway providing access to that store on the upper level that was fenced in but there was only room for one shopping cart to pass by at a time. This is totally ridiculous. How long is this garage work going to take? I will have to take my business elsewhere.

I was forced to change checkout lines 2 times, each time ending up further back in line. Fed up with the poor checkout process and the fact that there are never any carts available. Left without buying anything that I needed.

When I arrived to pick up my items at cutomer service, the workers continued their person conversaation between themselves for several minutes before asking if I needed help. One of the workers had her mask around her neck instead of over her mouth and nose while talking to a customer. My worker was rude.

I can find things that I am looking for 99% of the time versus driving around to different stores.

It would be nicer if they had a Starbucks as part of the cafe but this is one of my favorite targets in the entire greater Cleveland region.

Everyone loves target

Fast service. Helpful staff!

My friend went into this target to purchase some bathroom decorations. When she went to touch a toothbrush hold it was filled with urine. I am disgusted and disappointed that a respected store such as target would allow something like this to happen.

The service is always quick and easy, its got everything you need. This store is all about convenience with quality goods. They put in a grocery store a few years ago to make it even more convenient. This is the only one I know of that has an escalator for your grocery carts too. The elevators are huge too so you can fit multiple carts and families in the same elevator.

Store is clean in most aisles and huge. You can find just about anything here that a regular department store has and its way faster than Wal-Mart and the employees seem nicer. Downside of it is the register cashiers seem to be slow so the check out times can be extremely slow. Also they do have an escalator inside which is well thought out, and a larger selection than other target stores I have been to.

This review was disallowed on Yelp so am posting it here.I worked in home care and took a client to the University Heights Target to buy presents for her grandkids. This Target is conveniently located near the major intersection so you can enter from either street. The covered parking is awesome; my car is safely protected from the elements while I shop, and the store is wheelchair accessible which adds to the convenience of use. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be back shopping.

The Drive Up team members are always very courteous.

Its a nicely appointed store with quality products and great staff, who are very helpful, unlike the Walmart up the street. I just wish they would keep the shelves better stocked.

Speedy transactions

As many others have said, shelves are usually half empty at best. Every trip is frustrating.Staff is generally very nice; they seem to be working in a difficult situation.

Very nice staff, but shelves are frequently empty. I always plan on going to another store after leaving there to pick up the items that I need that are out of stock. I have also noted a decrease in choice of brands over the past couple of years. This is not unique to this Target. One of the staff I spoke with admitted that empty shelves have been an ongoing issue

I had a great experience with customer service doing a whole bunch of returns. Our local University Heights Target is a gem. Overall the staff is so helpful.

Though it can be a black hole for me (in the best way), Target is the best! The prices are great, and the staff at the University Square store in University Heights, OH are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Went to store 1804 to get tshirts, I saw the sign $8 or 2 for $14 on a scoop neck t-shirt which was the only shirts in the section for this sign. Went to the register where Brittany rung me out, the shirts rang out $9 ea. So I mentioned the ad by the shirts. She went to check and said I was wrong and she could show me, so leaving her register with a line behind me we went. I clearly showed her the scoop neck shirts and she persisted to say I was wrong. The only other scoop neck shirts that were $8 were TANK TOPS not t-shirts. I told here to get a manager and she walked off still saying that I was wrong about it. This back and forth went on for a minute.The manager ended up honoring the price. If youre going to hire people to work as cashiers, I would suggest having the ones that have the right customer service skills. I came to the store to shop not to argue with an employee!

Worst customer service especially Willie who doesn’t know what he’s doing and doesn’t know where their products are located. Need training with attitude and product itself. Red code belongs to him. Needs more training especially if he will be in customer service. Attitude need to be changed big time. Shame on you being in there with bad attitude, be a model to your co-worker if you a supervisor. RED ALERT person.

I live in Naples, Fl and order things for my family in Ohio. When I do, I want the process to go well and the items to be high quality. This was a gift for our 5 y/o granddaughter to use on the plane to occupy her when she flies to Florida to visit us.

Target is my spot! I already pick up more items than are on my shipping list. I rarely have to track down a team member if I need assistance and I love that when they are busy and the lines are getting long, theyre quick to put team members on the registers to get the lines moving

While I would say this Target is definitely better than the Walmart down the street, it isnt the best Target. The customer service is mediocre and they always have people stocking shelves. Shouldnt that be done at night when the store is closed and customers arent shopping? And many times the checkout lines can move really slow. Im a frequent shopper here simply because I live down the street.

Whoever completed my pickup order at 7:22 pmon January 7, 2020 was extremely rude. Practically threw my order in the car and just walked away. Also, items from my order were canceled because this item lists things in stock that are never there. This is not the first time this has happened. Save yourself the trouble and go to Willoughby.

This Target I know like the back of my hand, but as of late seems to frequently be out of stock of things or disorganized. I am hoping that this Target will hire more cashiers and make check-out easier for the customers, there are so many customers I believe they understaffed.

A two story Target? What is this madness?! This Target is pretty cool. You can put your shopping cart on a track thing so you can take it upstairs. The employees are friendly and the store always looks pretty clean.

This particular store is consistently a sub par experience. Whether its never being fully stocked, the lines are always long, registers breaking down or, below average customer service, its never a fun nor quick experience visiting this branch.

I love Target. It is my go to place to get all the things as well as window shop for all the things that i will come to back to purchase at a later date.

Multiple online orders placed for pickup or delivery. Store shows all items in stock when placing the orders. 80% of the items never stocked and end up being cancelled. Such a waste of time and money.

Every. Single. Time. I come to this store, they are out of something I need, particularly in Grocery. Basic stuff--milk, eggs, bread... always out of something. The beer selection is always half empty. I usually get my groceries from Giant Eagle, but if I need other household things as well, I come to Target instead. Then I always ending up having to get the rest of my groceries at Whole Foods even though Id rather not spend that much. I gave two stars because at least the staff is alright. But honestly this is the worst Target.

I purchased 5 pastas, 1personal pan pizza and was told I had to get my own bag from the register. Spoken to harshly. This is the second time I was told this. I even reported this too the manager the first time it happened. You spend $30 and they cant get you a bag. Sad!!!! There should be bags at the cafe.

This is my Target, there are many like it but this is mine. Its great, good selection, friendly staff everything you could want out of a Target plus its 2 stories... How cool is that?
