I love this place! I live in Orlando so when Im in the area, I always visit Peltz Shoes. This location is a first for me, and I was super impressed with employee Joe. He was knowledgeable, efficient and eager to be of assistance, even at the end of a busy day. Its so nice to ask questions and get intelligent answers from the staff! Thank you for being there for those of us with feet issues!

After reluctantly buying shoes we didn’t really like for myself and our children we just happened to be in the shopping center and walked in. Great selection and prices. I bout a pair of shoes and love them. Great selection of toddler shoes. Staff was very helpful without being pushy or overbearing. Just right. Our next shoe shopping adventure will absolutely start here.
Dave and Blair are great management...they explained return policy and gave me a store credit even though I didnt have shoe box...I love points system via phone number so they could reproduce my receipt, Dave helped me Saturday pickup sturdy sandals...great customer service

Stopped in to see what kind of selection they had in men’s slide sandals (every one else seems to carry flip-flops only.) Kasey and Brian helped me. There were about 2 dozen styles. I told Kasey what I had in mind and he found me a handsome pair of Pikolinos in a New York second. At the counter I said I wouldn’t return them and I didn’t need the box. I saw Brian mark the box sold. Having been in the shoe field for two decades, I recognized this as a sure technique to avoid some other employee having the need to look all over the store for a ‘missing’ pair.Peltz has their act together!!!
Good customer service to a point, a bit of a issue for a pair of shoes being exchanged due to they didnt fit right which were ordered on line. They exchanged them, but it wasnt a smooth exchange. .
Miss Blair filled my order quickly and easily. She called me shortly after I placed my order through customer service. I went to pick up my order, tried on the sandals by Clarks and didn’t like them. Even though they were getting ready to close, Blair took the time to help me pick out a pair if Vionic sandals! The only problem is I thought we chose a sandal that were marked $69.95 however they rang up for $79.95 and I didn’t notice until I arrived home. Both our bads. Blair is helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, respectful, friendly and kind. She provided excellent customer service. Thank you Blair!

Just went to your store felt bad about not having slip but never wore shoes .I was told no box I couldnt do anything but was never told I needed to keep box .A real sad experience during these times to be treated this way I will donate the ones I got to make someone else feel good.Wont be seeing me back I could tell it probably doesnt make a difference . hopefully when things get better people will be more courteous.

Prices are typical physical location prices. Decent selection.Sales people are pushy. Leave me alone, let me find some shoes. If I clearly do not want your help stop following me about.If you are just going to start randomly recommending shoes, your first questions should be if I want help, followed by use and any specialty on sizing.Not a welcoming experience at this store and prices are better on e-retailers.

So I’m not really sure about the customer service here. I was in this afternoon looking for a new heel for my company Christmas party. I had a few questions and felt like the staff approached every person except me. When I approached a manager, Prissilla?? She seemed like I was a bother. Not really sure if this is the standard for this place but judging by reviews it seems to be. Definitely won’t be back...sorry to say because y’all have a great sections...
Cadi the manager at this location helped me find the perfect shoes for my feet, since I am a supinator it’s super hard for me to find comfortable shoes. Cadi took her time and educated me on how to properly support my feet by finding the proper shoes that fits my walking pattern. If you suffer from foot pain because of shoes, then please go see Cadi at University peltz location. Superb customer service, knowledgeable and very affordable.
Whoever does the purchasing for this retail chain should be celebrated. Best collection of quality, comfort, & style in shoes at every price point Ive seen, I think ever. As if I needed another reason to love this area. One star taken away because on my first time in, the manager was there & the sales staff were swarming, hovering, I felt stalked. I hope that wasnt the training he was providing. I went back this weekend to purchase and noticed his absence and a much more enjoyable relaxed shopping experience with very good customer service.

The phone directory is easy, quick, and effective. A customer is able to connect with a manager quickly.This place does price match, though the shoe has to be the same style, and color.Staff was awake, friendly, and energetic (on the day before Christmas too!)I was helped by Cadi, the manager for the UTC location, and she was honest and friendly about price matching.I was also helped by Joe and Hannah who were very polite.I must say, this place is much better than DSW!
So helpful, great selection & variety! Jim went the extra mile to find my size 9 narrow & called their other store to hold the color I wanted. Even the hold was extended until the next day. 30% savings, what’s not to like. My go to shoe store for quality, narrow size selection.
This used to be my favorite shoe store. Yesterday i went in, looking for a pair of plain dress pumps ( office work shoes). They used to have a very nice selection. Not any more. When I asked the gentleman who was putting away shoes, he said “This is Florida. Women don’t wear high heels here. They wear sandals “I was taken aback with surprise.I said “I have lived here for almost 10 years. Thank you. It means I must shop elsewhere “He didn’t reply.So I did

The people working at Peltz were very helpful in helping find what you needed. They even returned to the racks the shoes you didnt want. Checkout was a breeze. All in all a good experience. I will return.
My experience with Peltz shoes keeps getting worse and worse.Returned a pair of shoes that were purchased online. I was told they couldnt do a credit in store by the manager (Michael) so he sent an email to Emily advising her of the return and credit and gave me a printed copy of the email.Two weeks later now...still NO credit and they are now telling me that they have virtually no record of the shoes ever being returned.Hows that for service ??I forwarded a copy of the printed email to customer service and they basically said so what. NO CREDIT.Judging from other reviews and my experience with Peltz.They like to take in the money but are not real big on giving back a refund when one is due. Never ever buy anything online from Peltz shoes that you even think you might have to return. Not worth the hassle.
One of the workers Joanne, was very helpful in helping my father find shoes and give us good advice when it comes to buying wider shoes for my fathers side feet. On the other hand though another employee, John was very condescending towards my mother and myself and I found it very rude. If it wasnt for that I would give 5 stars.
Ordered shoes online. They charged my card multiple time . When i called them about it, they told me there was nothing they could do and that i had to wait for them to fall off. It totalled over 1,000 dollars. Then when i finally get the pair of shoes. One was worn and the other was in new condition. Be very careful people and if theyre website says you charge didnt go through try again. DONT
Great selection, decent prices over all... I was greeted upon entering, but the salesperson walking around appraoched EVERY customer but me...and i was in there a good 30 minutes. Not even an are you finding everything ok?. May or may not return...Update: after only TWO DAYS, my shoes starting falling apart. Not so much that they are unwearable, but, shouldnt athletic shoes hold up a LITTLE longer?? I understand the store has no control over the quality the manufacturer puts out, hence i am not deducting any stars...it DOES leave a bad taste in my mouth, though... This is gonna be a 1 time deal for me regarding Peltz...
Today I stopped in at Peltz on University in Sarasota/Bradenton. Coming with the intention of purchasing Mephisto sandals in a particular color I was initially disappointed what they did not have my size in the color I wanted. Then I remembered that a friend, on aaprevuous visit, had them order and deliver free of shipping charges to her door the shoes she wanted. The staff were wonderful in setting this up for me, I paid at the checkout, enjoyed the friendly conversations with the staff as well as customers, and am waiting for my delivery! 😀
I have been SUFFERING through extreme discomfort with my feet lately yet I am too stubborn to make an appointment with a podiatrist. After help from the internet and the opinions of my friends and family, I am self diagnosing myself to have plantar fasciitis.Normally I would never complain at the idea of having to spend the weekend shopping for new shoes but I have been cringing of the thought of having to go from store to store when I can barely stand walking around on my bum feet for more than a few minutes.I feel extremely lucky to have run into Cadi at Peltz tonight. I walked in and was immediately offered assistance. I told her the issues I’ve been having with my feet and that I was looking for something with more support. I had lots of recommendations for “sketchers” and I was not thrilled about having to settle on wearing them because they are not my preference (style wise). She showed me a variety of shoes that were much more appealing yet incredibly comfortable. I felt instant relief in trying on some of her suggestions. She was very nice, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. I am very happy I decided to stop in your store tonight. I was so excited about my new shoes, I just HAD TO wear them out. Got a pair of inserts and Brooks that cured my plantar fasciitis without killing my wallet. The knowledgeable manager helped me find them and I’m on my second pair now and Brooks & Peltz for life.
Peltz Shoes is amazzzzinggg! I went in this afternoon after seeing one of the other locations earlier in the week and I love it. The sales people are extremely nice and very helpful. Their training must be great because theyve done a fantastic job! The staf is very professional and I like how they dont have uniforms or wear jeans, but they are in business dress attire while fitting you with shoes, how professional.
Just doing a return, but Mgr. Michelle was nice. Computer crashed during the return or theyd have 5 stars...
I have been employed with Peltz for a year now and I LOVE my job! Before I started working here, I had no idea of all the factors that go into fitting a shoe correctly, but I have learned so much in just a years time thanks to the training we receive and information from my other colleagues. Even if I didnt work there, I would still not buy my shoes anywhere else. The brands they have are soooo comfortable and their customers comfort is their first priority; and just for the record, we are NOT on commission. We just want to help our customers find good shoes that fit well, feel good and that they like the looks of; thats our job and what theyve hired us to do. :-)

Fast efficient return and then I replaced them with a new shoe that was delivered today.
I recently purchased a pair of Naot Canaan for over $200 and the strap is starting to rip. I brought them back to Peltz to get a replacement or repair and they were rude and unhelpful. I have owned many Naots before but will not purchase them again after this issue. I will also not purchase from either of the Peltz Stores in Sarasota after the lack of service to get this defective shoe repaired. I was not asking for my money back or another shoe in return just to have these shoes fixed or to receive one that wasnt defective. If you are looking for friendly customer service and a store that stands behind the quality of the shoes that they carry then be sure to look for shoes somewhere else then Peltz Shoes in Sarasota.
This store generally has what Im looking for in footware. Office appropriate shoes are often a challenge to find consistently, Peltz comes through for me better than most other stores.

After going to 8 different stores I decided to go to Kohls but came across Peltz shoes and I am so glad I did. I had the nicest people helping me and they made sure that I found the perfect shoes and I couldnt be happier. I will defiently go there again. David made my day and Alex did too.
Worst customer service ever. I love Peltz shoes, the merchandise and the staff. Well I haven’t been in months and the it seems as if it took different owners. I would recommend going to Shoe Carnival. The woman manager asked me to take a seat to eat my icecream as I was a small child. When I was checking out she was arguing with a lady about using more then one coupon. The store was empty and you wonder why, the customer service stinks. The clearance section sucks too. How can anyone get the shoes up above. You should see DSW or other shoes clearance ( those are very shop able) When I use to come they had plenty off assistance in clearance and so much customer service. The level of customer service was so annoying because several people ask me for help. I knew there was and if I needed it. Now it seems someone checks on you at the beginning as soon as you walk in and never again. They need to give someone a chance to look and not rush them in. When I did ask someone for help, they said was anyone helping you. She went and found my sales associate. What was the deal that anyone couldn’t help me. The store was empty so I figured lots of people would be willing to help. It was almost like a creepy ghost town. You felt a cold shoulder from the staff and the store.

I am SO FREAKING MAD at your store at 5275 University Parkway, University Park, FL 34201. I do not think I will EVER shop at your stores again!!!!!!! Our daughter gave her dad a $75 GC to go get a pair of shoes before his major back surgery and after an hour of looking for the perfect pair of shoes and I found a great pair as well. We go to the register and I put down a coupon and the GC on the counter and the guy picks up the coupon and looks at the GC. The guy proceeds to ring up everything, he said total $212 I hand him my CC and he charges it! I asked him is that with the $75 GC and he said OOO I forgot to ring that up!!! So he calls a manager and he comes up and said the ONLY thing he could do is to void it out and said the money will go back in the bank immediately! Which I know for a fact it will not be put back till Tuesday!! Which now in return messes up MY ENTIRE BANK!!!!!!!!!! THE MANAGER RE-RINGS EVERYTHING BACK IN AND NOW MY BANK DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH IN THERE TO PAY FOR IT AND DECLINES IT. So we walk out VERY unhappy VERY PISSED OFF and with NO shoes and now NO money!!!!! The manager did NOT apologize once for all the trouble and he did Not compensate us for anything!!! Merry Christmas to my husband.
