The line was about ten people deep when I walked in at 930am. I was kind of in a hurry so I was a little nervous but the one cashier that was going was fast and got thru the line with no problems or complaints from any of the people waiting while I was there. Considering the lack of store employees I was still able to find everything I came in there looking for and then some. I will be back.

The line took about 15 minutes to get through because of there only being one employee working. She was very sweet though. They had what I needed, and it was a buck! Wouldve been at least $4.99 anywhere else. The store looked pretty bad but they have no employees right now. Lost a star because the manager had no sense of urgency opening up a second lane to help the congestion.

Standard dollar tree. Good selection of reading glasses, gift wrapping.

My wife loves the place for gifts for our grandchildren, lots of choices, good prices.

Decent dollar tree. Doesnt seem to have as much as some of the other dollar trees in tacoma but still decent enough. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

I find it so funny they try to enforce the rules of social distancing when one cashier literally has on a dollar store scarf as her mask the other cashier wears the same gloves all day Im assuming but at least 12 different transactions and the 6-in distances tapes are literally 12 to 15 in lmao! A JOKE!

Dollar Tree at 3907 Bridgeport Way W, University Place and 5720 Lakewood Towne Ctr Blvd SW are awesome places to visit and shop. Services are always good and the associates are always willing and ready to help. Kudos to them.

I was standing in line behind a nice disabled lady with a cane yesterday. The cashier Sherry was very rude to this customer (..the customer said she was partially deaf). I was just about to interrupt her to let her know that I work as manager at a large drug store chain where I have little tolerance for employees who fail to treat every customer with respect. I wouldve given her a written warning to let her know that she would be fired if she didnt shape up.Sherry needs to work in back where she has little interaction with customers. She is pretty clueless about calling Dollar Tree customers honey - most people dont like that. Its obvious that working at Dollar Tree is not a good fit for her.

Its a dollar tree. Always going there for small storage containers and camping utensils. Very pleasant staff.

Idk about the staff as described by Jen their reviews, but the store seems decent to shop at. Although I bought a water for a store employee on a hot day, and she was terrified that the store manager would accuse her of stealing and fire.

Upsetting that if the cashier makes a mistake and charges you for items you didnt buy they will not refund you or put the money back on your debit card, instead they make your pic additional items. What if I actually need that money that the cashier accidentally made me spend? its company policy she said.... well that was my money you just spent. And its not appreciated. I understand people make mistakes but to have a policy where money cannot be returned its absolutely archaic. Im very dissatisfied. I will not be returning.Always messy. Items on the floor most days.

I understand senior shopping hours, but I have a compromised immune system and we went right when they opend last sunday and the cashier told me I wasnt supposed to be there because the first hour was for seniors only, the sign was on the open door so you could not read it, but Im supposed to wait and shop with the other people who dont have compromised immune systems, I dont think thats fair

Its a clean store, friendly staff, located in a safe part of town. Ive been to larger dollar tree stores but this one seems to have all I need. theres lots of parking close to the front door as well as 3 handicap parking spots.

Im not going back to this store. I almost always have problems with my payment. I use my phone (Google Pay) to make my purchases, and sometimes their registers work, and sometimes they dont. And when the machine doesnt work, they shrug and go, Sorry, its a new system. When I know for a fact that its not (theyve been saying that for months) theyre just making excuses because they dont want to try again. They also have told me Oh we take Apple Pay, I dont think we take Google Pay. Its the same system 😤. Perhaps these people need more training.

Love My U P Dollar Tree. Employees are great while being over worked. Store Manager is an all around Do Person! I like that a refrigeration unit was put in. We need more room for back room stock that ends up in aisles because there is no room in back. How about Albertsons former Building? $ $ $

Best of good price

Went in to use the bathroom, theres no lock on the bathroom door (ew) and they made me leave my bag at the front promising theyd watch it and when I came back it was sitting alone at an unmanned register. They treat you like scum, dont go here. Plus, they didnt even have what I was looking for, which I have at other, smaller, BETTER Dollar Tree stores. Dont waste your time.

The prices are great the customer service would be better if they would get rid of one of the cashiers that asked me to wait after already standing in line behind three other customers, to allow a white customer, to go ahead of me. She must think shes still living in 1800 or in Africa doing Aparti, or is she trying to start the race riots again the United States had in the 60s Then she bagged all my light items first, although I had separated them, and handed me my heavy items last so that they would end up on top of my lighter items that she handed me first. This cashier should of been replaced when I mention her to you over three months ago.

I see managment needs some serious improvement they are always in the office and the store has lots that needs done .there is always so much product on the floor and its really unorganized. Its not only up to the employees its the managements responsibility as well . Alice is just as bad as natasha/ tasha they all act like they cant go on the floor and work hard just like the others. I remember tasha always talking advantage of her manigers/employees and she always takes off for her 2 hour lunch and she wouldnt return . Im sure all the regular customers all noticed. Now that managers are at some other stores nothing has improved. How desperate can dollar tree be to let management get away with so many things smh.

Always love to browse a Dollar store when I can. Stocked up on scented candles today.

Friendly staff....none of this Well if we have the product, its on the shelves, BS. Theyll either say theyre out of what I need or if I cant find it, someone comes and looks with me. Usually has the products Im looking for. Lines can be a bit long and slow, depending on the time of day and how long the customers fiddle around with theyre payment, but theyre pretty good about opening another register if necessary 😊

I purchased several items. That weekend I got real sick so I couldnt go.So I looked everywhere for my receipt to no avail. I tried taking the things back. They told me no .I THINK THIS IS BAD BUSINESS.I USED TO REALLY LIKE GOING THERE.Someone help. 😥

Went to the dollar store in Univeristy Place on 4/6/2020 at about 10:30am. The cashier was wearing a ripped glove, defeating the purpose of wearing gloves. Additionally, when an elderly customer walked in with her cart she asked the cashier for a cleaning wipe to wipe down the cart. The cashier gave her the wipe then as the lady was walking away with the cart, the cashier ASKED FOR THE WIPE BACK. Re-using a cleaning wipe over and over with different customers is helping no-one.

A very economical alternative to shopping certain non perishable groceries. Home and kitchen, cleaning, baking, school/office, holiday items.

Great managers there, now that one is gone, toni as she was very rude. Other than that the store is full n the customer service is better than any other store Ive been too.

I loved being greeted when I came in even though the greeter was a cashier and had several people in her line.

Apparently my son looks suspicious by walking in the store..excuse me, walking in the store black. He was approached by a cashier masquerading as a manager and told him a customer said he was stealing. he didnt have anything, in fact he had just purchased a soda. I called and asked how he looked suspicious...The manager, Christina couldnt tell me how...Well christina.. I hope you have some job security...You are going to need it

Came in to just get a drink and the cashier Sherry I believe her name was, was very rude and condescending towards me. I had accidentally pressed cash back, which wasn’t my intent, and told her “sorry I didn’t mean to hit cash back.” She followed up saying “Then take your card out.” In a very condescending way and I told her that I didn’t appreciate her tone and then proceeded to tell me “Sorry you shouldn’t be so sensitive.” Then Gave me a an insincere apology. I normally get amazing service here with a smile but this just made the experience the worst I’ve had in any establishment and the way I was talked to was not acceptable.

Everytime I got into this dollar tree I am greeted by name which is very nice. However there has been a new manager named shannon(i think hes a manager). He is a very unpleasent guy. On multiple occasions o have seen him not only mis treat customers but also other dollar tree employees. He has also picked on more of the African american customers/employeesmore than anyone. I have complained to one day manager who listened to what I had to say, but didnt seem like the complaint went very far. Seemed like his (shannon) attitude got worst. I hate going into this dollar tree and seeing him. I get that everyone has a bad day, but to always have a nasty attitude sucks. I gave this store a 3 for this reason. Besides him, everyone else is so sweet and plesent.happy shopping folks.

Manager moved me to a different lane as they were closing lane down said I wouldnt loose my spot. BULL! I was next in line and the new lane they opened to move us to, they let people not already in line ahead of me, I ended up waiting in a long line again and they didnt move anyone else to other lanes and had the checker leaving for the day help them before leaving. Ended up waiting in 2 long lines. Awful customer service.

During my last visit a woman was very upset the staff took 15 min to get her a cart. Ive always had great experiences personally

Some items like non brand Soda are 69 cents at Safeway this week, but this is a good store. Clerks are very nice
