Great clean placeNo mens aisles whatsoever tho
This location has the highest prices of any good will Ive ever been to.
Nice store, Friendly staff. Kinda of disappointed on some of the prices. Example, they had a pair of walmart brand pants for $16. At walmart those same pants are $10.
Cause its clean & organized. My sister used to work at Goodwill not this location, but she said when the cashier asks if customer wants to donate to the veterans it is going in the employees pocket at the end of the day. $ is divided...ugh
Nice large store with good selection of clothes. Not much in other areas and staff is a little disorganized
They have the rudest staff here. They never have a cashier on the register. They leave to gossip in some corner of the store while customers are waiting.
They don’t have a bathroom....their sizes are all mixed on the racks so it makes it difficult to shop. Employees are rude. Prices are high and comparable to shopping at Ross accept the stuff at Ross is new. There’s no furniture either.
Neat& very clean 👌🏾organized
This is a great place to find small appliances, dishes and lots of clothes for everybody in your family!
Worse experience ever! Said they had a certain item in stock and multiple of them. I got there within ten minutes and there wasnt any! Wasted my gas and time
They seem to hit capacity of clothing donations within an hour or two of opening on the weekends so they havent taken my clothing donations on a few occasions. I was told they usually have 2 bins.
It was good not to much of a selection.did find a good buy thou.
Im a bit of a thrift store junkie & maybe would give it 4 stars if not for recovering from virus & recently reopening. Store is clean & well organized.
I have never been disrespect by employees to this degree. They were not willing to help at all. Even as they were being so unkind to me a lady was trying to show them her was over charged and they were rude to her too!!! Shame on them.
Good thrift store.
So happy to see a real book store. Found a couple of travel books as a gift. They also have used books.
Love Thursday discounts! But the stores dont offer shopping carts. Only a few wheeled baskets available. They have a 3 item policy for the fitting rooms. The associated tell u to leave your basket outside the fitting rooms. In order for me to shop, I had asked if I could leave a (hand) basket at the counter until I was ready to check out. After the struggle with the fitting room, I went to pay.Even though there was a note saying customer still shopping, and I was the only Customer left in the store, they put all my items back. They work against the customers shopping. U need a place to keep the items while u continue to shop. No shopping carts or anywhere to keep your items causes frustration and a unhappy shopping experience.
Very rude employees.
This Goodwill has an extensive collection, and there are some great like-new items on occasion. For some reason, the selection of formal dresses is often great, which makes this a great stop for a formal dress you dont want to spend more than $20 on.The staff are friendly, but the dressing rooms could be better lit.
My mother passed away and it was time to clean out the house. She was a collector of fine antiques, crystal, lavish pottery, and beautiful paintings. I thought it was time to let it go, and have been bringing truck loads here to this Good Will location at 850 E Foothill Blvd in Upland, CA. I took the time to box up all the crystal glassware, pottery, complete sets of fine china plates, cups and crystal bowels and unopened expensive decorations still in the box. . But still.. instead of thanking me for my donations, I get complaints, from this one Hispanic young guy who did not want to work that day. He said I have that too much stuff, sniff sniff, and when one box of books started to split open and few books fell out, I thought he was going to cry. Moving slowly he started picking up a one book at a time while complaining and sniveling about my donations. I stopped unloading and I wanted to help him out by picking up a few things myself, and I Apologized to him about the torn box. But he kept going on and on... about how full they are and it doesnt help when my boxes rip open. He certainly did not make me feel welcome there that time. But I kept coming back to do my good deed for the day, and now he is chipping in more to help me unload my donations.Meanwhile I noticed that Not Everyone will donate Sellable Items - I see many other people are donating what looks more like Trash with mostly cheap plastic broken toys and trays, dirty clothing and other junk that should have been thrown away. Really... Some people are using this location as a dump site, and then nitpick at the employees for their receipt.. Of course the prices are higher than they were 5 to 10 years ago, but thats par for the game when California keeps raising the minimum wage twice a year. Most all the businesses are selling less for more, and thats been going on for years now. Last year, I donated a few stacks of English plates and later noticed they were selling inside at $10.99 for the 12 inch, and $7.99 for the 8 inch. I thought thats a little high, but good for them. Because Good Will is an American nonprofit organization that provides job training, employment placement services, and other community based programs available to the public.
Prices are staring to climb to high
Found some great deals at this store. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Store very clean and organized, but I thought the price was too high for some of the stuff. Make sure you go on a discount/sales day!
I have been donated all my life to Good will in to many locations but this specific donation place is the worse,, Ido have a very good stuff and the guy in front door seems like everything was trash.
Clean and well organized.
Surprisingly overpriced. I did find a few things to love, but not what I am used to finding. Trying another one to see if I can get lucky! A lot of tangled hangers and clothes. Difficult to remove things from the rack.
The Upland Goodwill is a medium to large GoodWill. It has a medium to large book area and CD/DVD area. There are quite a few rows of household products, more than many GoodWills offer. The store is clean and decently laid out, but not as nice as some of the Goodwill stores that are closer to the Los Angeles area. The furniture section is medium to larger in size, it also has a medium to large electronics section. My recent visit was my second time at this location. It has a medium size parking lot for such a busy location, so you may have to wait for a parking spot. The employee I interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable about Goodwill and helpful.I wouldnt put it on my top Goodwill Stores to go out of my way to visit, but Ill visit it again the next time I have to go to the Ontario Goodwill Corporate office.
Have always enjoyed my experience shopping at this store the people are so helpful and friendly. There is always something good to buy.
They seem to sell items that are trashed and greatly broke. Good will has bumped there prices too too high. 6.50 for a blouse. 7.50 for pants. These stores- I thought were for less fortunate people to get some nice things. GoodWill is an expensive, dirty and lousy store.
Im always greeted, with a smile. Pleasant employees.
Very helpful staff and the store was clean overall including the restrooms. Definitely coming back.
I love this good will I like coming here alot love you $#@(//)@/_
Very big store neat & clean good customer service very comfortable to shop
Really fun to look around because youll never know what youll find. They have a large selection of clothing and purses.
Iam finding what Iam looking for, printers, fax, video games perfume, and nice sales reps
Amazing stuff and good quality
Kinda sloppy not a great variety of things but the specials are worth going in for
I prefer not to say anything about the staff 🤔
All the prices are outrageous for use clothes I dont think I will be going back there any more
Very organized. Friendly workers
Lots of goodies. Clean and organized
Clothes to tight on rack which made it difficult to look and sort though. Very unorganized.
Good clothes all color cordinated
Great pop in store, its all about the hunt.
Its a hit and miss sometimes, but the clothes and cleanliness of the store is awesome
Stores a mess workers are to busy talking to coworkers and prices are to high
Had a bunch of things I didnt need just donated them here
Great price and good quality!
I work there so all I can say is come on in and check out our products.
Some deals to be had, but not out of this world or anything. Every once in a while youll find that gem, like a crazy furniture deal.
Excellent all around.
Outstanding service, nice people, clean, good value.
Thursday purple tags everything 1 Dollar, Im coming back later Goodwill thanks!😀
Really gross, used stuff. Not clean.
Way overpriced tags from stores, for example-walmart $18.88 for a pkg of sheets is what the goodwill price is. No savings-just skip this thrift store.
Better prices than the Goodwill close to where I live, but the selection still isnt great.
Great deals and very organized
Always cool finds!
Good place to go
Red Tags...1/2 Price...Yay!!!
