Had them put on trailer tires I bought online. Mount balance and disposal was very reasonable at $21. No issues, good service and I was out in under 1 hour. They cleaned the bead seal surface on the rims and put in new valve stems. I would use their services again.

Five stars because they matched my expectations. I called in the morning to make a spontaneous appointment and they could easily fit me into the schedule. They replaced all four tires and the duration of waiting was less than 30 minutes!! I was very impressed. The customer service was very welcoming and I appreciate the kindness over the phone from the front desk. The mechanic who have the report was very clear giving information and to the point. I will continue with this specific location.

I stopped in for my scheduled tire rotation and balance, but noticed my tire pressure light was active. (I added air to my tires the night before, and the light went off.) Manny and Cesar were helpful in getting me a new tire (covered under the warranty plan I purchased with my set of tires.) $25.00 with a new tire and I was on my way! We collected a screw in our tire while we were traveling through Iowa. Called Discount Tire and talked to Louis. He was super helpful and courteous and gave us the information we needed. We have an uncommon tire size but he was able to get the tires we needed ordered in and an appointment made for first thing in the morning. He was very clear with explaining things over the phone and patiently repeated information multiple times for me because I wanted to make sure I understood everything right.When we got there the next day Andy met us in the parking lot with a very warm welcome and covered the basics of what they were going to do. He gave an estimated wait time and also double-checked the information he had to make sure they were replacing the correct tires and performing the correct service. He also pleasantly answered a bunch of probably-not-important questions I had about the old tires and the new tires. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes with brand new tires, rotation and rebalancing. Every employee who interacted with us was friendly and welcoming and just extremely pleasant to interact with. We were keeping one of the old tires and they even had a big for it to go in so it wouldnt get the back of our car dirty.If youre from out of state and need emergency services, this Discount Tire is 10/10!

Thank goodness for tire insurance! Got a nail in a place that couldnt be repaired they replaced the tire and only charged me $16 to add insurance to the new tire. Easy to book an appointment, they did it quickly and professionally.

We were driving through Des Moines when we hit a pothole causing our front tire to go flat. After changing the flat we looked for somewhere to get the flat tire repaired/ replaced. We were on our way to another tire place when we spotted Discount Tire and stopped because Ive had good experience with them at home. It was 5:40 when I walked to the door and saw that they closed at 6. I prepared myself to be turned away as they already had a couple customers inside and it was so close to closing time. Instead I was greeted with what brings you in today?. When I told him what happened he came out to look at the tire and said it was not repairable but they could get me a new tire and have it ready in about an hour. I agreed and about 30 minutes later we had our new tire and were ready to go. This is top notch customer service and why I will always recommend Discount Tire to anyone who asks. Especially if you are in the Des Moines area, these guys truly care about the customer and do what it takes to get you safely on the road.

Ive taken my BMW here a couple times to get tires. Most tires for my car in the area cost over $140 per tire, I was able to get some for half that here. Ended up spending around $400 for two new tires and a new rim after having an unfortunate encounter with a pothole. They obviously dont carry OEM rims for my car, so it looks a little funny with having one odd rim, but thats the price I pay for not being more careful. Great customer service overall.

I set an appointment to get a new tire. Their staff helped set up a good time for them and me to accomplish the work in a timely manner. When I arrived an associate met me outside and helped me through the check in processes swiftly. Their tire experts completed their task quickly and kept a safe environment in a polite professional way. This location has shown me that they are amoung the best shops of their type.

Sold me tires on basis of +~200 rebates. Submitted everything online while on the premises. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Ill let them rotate the tires, but will never give them another $. Theyre not interested in correcting the problem... Maybe I shouldve contacted them earlier.... Maybe they shouldve just honored their rebates. Buyer beware. The individual employees are perfectly helpful, but the organization is out to screw you over in the end. Unless you can afford it, dont do it. Im extremely fortunate that I can afford to eat the rebate, but Im not happy about it. Im sure Ill get notified about some class action lawsuit in the near future and it wont come close to the amount this company owes me. This is the reality we choose.

I have used Discount Tire in the past and had good luck, but recently left after waiting in line three or four people deep with only one person working the front counter. I needed a set of 5 tires for my truck and decided to go spend my money at Graham tire, where I was waited on promptly and treated fairly by very polite staff. I had my truck setup for the next day to get 5 tires on it and it was done within a couple of hours.

Friendly and did nice and quick work all went well other than the individual who felt it was needed to play with the tools in the back of my car not properly putting it back in either allowing my drill to fall to the concrete where another technician had to pick it up and put it back

They did a great job of getting me in at late notice, and it wasnt a long wait. Great job guys.

Discount Tire to the rescue again. Bought winter tires at car dealership. Not balanced correctly and they couldnt fix them for a week. Discount Tire got them balanced in 30 minutes for $40. I have bought tires here and had tires rotated and winter/summer tires swapped. They are so pleasant, efficient an easy to work with. Thanks guys!

He managed to upsell me to Cooper Discovery ATs from Wrangler Duelers well within my budget. He then helped me toss the set of four 20 tires into Mary Poppins car.Highly recommend. Brian was well down to earth and exceeded my expectations. I truly didnt think buying tires could not be a boring and painful experience.

My wife and I were headed home to Kansas from Milwaukee yesterday and stopped in Des Moines to grab a bite and refuel. It was then I had noticed a tire had went flat. Took it by these guys, who do free flat repair, and unfortunately they said it was not repairable. However, instead of putting on my spare they put on a nice used tire for us to ensure we made it home safely. I was very pleased with their service and professionalism. Thanks again guys!

Had an air leak in tire. I had replaced tires at Discount Tire previously and liked the customer service. Called and they told me to bring it in without needing an appointment. Took it in and they said it would be less than an hour. They were absolutely correct. Turned out it just needed a patch but they didnt even charge me for it!! Will definitely continue to go there for all my tire needs!!

Very impressed. I had a flat repaired at another tire company and was told I needed a new TPMS tire sensor installed. I took the truck to Discount Tire to have the sensor replaced and they said it was just a bad reading from the spare tire and everything was fine. They reset the indicator and didnt charge me anything. Thanks!

Great experience all around. From ordering, to a pre-appointment phone call question, to drop-off and pickup. The staff was friendly, energetic (at 9 A.M.) and knowledgeable. I had two tires swapped and rotated on my Volkswagen, and it took less than an hour (they were busy too). The staff was hustling and had a sense of urgency, yet not to the point of neglecting the customer. Would highly recommend, and will certainly be going back for future needs.

Tire prices are surprisingly lower than other places I called. Customer service is fantastic also, they listened to my needs and provided me with several options and explained where the differences lay. They also offered the coupons other places offered. They were professional and transparent all along the process. And I also saw that when they were dealing with existing customers.

Favorite place to buy and maintain our tires. Helpful staff knows tires. Franchise is new to the Des Moines area but I used them in San Antonio, TX for many years. My experience at Discount Tire is fairly consistent from store to store. They care about the condition of the tires on your vehicle. They will not repair unsafe tires and will make strong recommendations if you need to replace old or worn tires.

I called to ask how much they charge to fix a tire, and they said nothing, if its fixable. When I took my car in this morning, the man couldnt have been nicer! They fixed it for free and treated me like I was spending $1,000. The service and courtesy of the employees is impressive and I would and WILL recommend them to anyone.

After having a horrible experience at Sam’s Club...I drove to Discount Tire and had an amazing experience! They were friendly, knowledgeable, and found me great tires in my price range. The process took maybe 1 hour from start to finish. I will never go anywhere else for my tire needs.
