I love Caribou Coffee, but I came today to get an Einstein Bagel. The girl at the drive thru took the time to explain to me that Einstein and Caribou have split ways. Itll take awhile to get the signage changed.I got a blueberry bagel with honey almond cream cheese. It was good. Quite sweet. Amazing coffee!!! Even with the minor adjustments to my order they get it spot on (in the drive-thru even!!!) The guy helping me at the window was super friendly and we had great laughs. When I am back in town, I will DEFINITELY visit this store again!!

I used to come here a lot, they were always able to accommodate my dairy allergy by simply leaving the cheese off the bagel sandwiches. Unfortunately, we were informed today that they can no longer “modify” sandwiches, which blows my mind considering the amount of people with food intolerances these days. I guess it sounds like they split from Einsteins? If this is the case, it would be helpful to consumers if they’d remove the Einstein’s branding from their signage. Total bummer - they lost a loyal customer for not being able to take the slice of cheese off the sandwich.

They did NOT Bother to FROTH the Cappuccino. Just added the heated milk. Huge BUMMER! Both Mine & My Husbands. Maybe they Dont know how..they better learn or theyll lose business.

Always great service and a great cup of coffee. Come for the coffee stay for the perfectly toasted bagel with ample cream cheese. Love the coconut latte.

This Caribou Coffee is amazing! The quality of the coffee and other drinks is always perfect, the baristas are very sweet and friendly, and theyre always on top of checking in my perks!

3rd time Ive been here. Extremely slow. Ive currently been sitting at the speaker to order for 6 minutes and no one has even said hello there were 4 cars ahead of me when I pulled up 17 minutes ago! Last time I came here I was the only person in the lobby and waited for 5 minutes to even be greeted as well. If it were swamped, thats one thing- but it hasnt been any time Ive come in. Not worth the wait.

The bagel sandwiches used to be amazing. Now they are pre made and it was very hard to eat. I wont order another bagel sandwich from here. Coffee is still great.

Cashier advised no longer combined with Einstein Bagel Bros. They do still carry some pre-made sandwiches & bagels. Sad day. Drinks were still great.

I used to stop at Einstein Bagels almost every morning for a coffee and a fresh bagel sandwich. This morning I stopped on my way to work and ordered the bagel sandwich with Turkey sausage that I’ve always ordered. I learned that all of their breakfast sandwiches/bagels are now pre made. The bagel was chewy and extremely hard to eat. I won’t be ordering a breakfast bagel or sandwich from Einstein going forward especially since there are competitors in town that still do it RIGHT! I’m not sure why Einstein Bagels decided to ruin a good thing by cutting corners.

The bagels are amazing, the coffee is good, and the staff were very friendly and quick to get your order together! Will definitely come back 😄

Waited at front counter to order for 5 minutes, NEVER acknowledged even though a female making drinks looked over at me 3 times!! If you only wait on drive thru customers, then close the front door..I left and never got my bagel cream cheese and coffee..What happened to we will be right with you??!! No customer service OR manners.

Coffee was great. They only have premade sandwiches now which was a bummer. Sandwich was meh.

We here today to order begal sandwiches. They are no longer apart of ensteins so all the sandwiches are pre-made. First off, their signage is now lying, since it says they still are. It is impossible to get a sandwich without egg or cream cheese. Wont be coming back. Highly recommend TJ begals in Ankeny. They make their begals and sandwiches fresh.

Came here this morning and went inside because the drive thru was pretty long. The lady who took our order was super sweet! Got our drinks and food at a reasonable time too!

Rude front counter guy. Irritated with new customers who didnt know what they wanted right away. Left the front counter for so long we almost left. Made us repeat our order 5 times. Sad that we wont be back because the coffee & bagles were good, but I refuse to put my $ where people treat you like you are bothering them to do their job.

I have been coming to this location for a few years now. I absolutely love Caribou!! My order is always correct and if for some reason it is not, they correct it immediately. I am so frequent that most of the staff know my order when they see my car, I’d say 75% have my perks info memorized, lol. Zeb is awesome btw! Make the man manager already!! Great job to everyone! What’s the point of asking if I want my bagel toasted if it NEVER gets toasted? Multiple experiences were it was not toasted. one time their wasn’t even cream cheese.

When you first walk-in you immediately notice the great atmosphere. They have booths or arm chairs with a coffee table, I thought that was cool. You are greeted immediately by warm and friendly staff. They know how to explain the menu and have very good recommendations. I wanted a smoothie and there is two flavors, I was having trouble to decide and he recommended I mix the two and man he was dead on, it was amazing. Great choices on the menu, merchandise also available. Very good place to go with someone or to just relax.

This was the first time back since the virus. Im so disappointed. I used drive-in and saw 3 employees. 2 didnt have masks over their noses and the one preparing food only had a bandanna. If he sneezed or coughed it would have fallen on all the food. Im disappointed and sad and cant go back till we have a vaccine.Also, my order was wrong when I got home.

Coffee and bagels are fantastic. Service is very good for a public company. Owner/management remains involved and it shows. A little noisy for my taste, but still able to relax and/or get work done.

Good coffee, but you might not get what you order - beware diabetics, you might not get sugar-free. Lots of employees standing around while your coffee sits ready on the counter. Really good bagels, though ask for it to be cut with a new knife, or your blueberry bagel may taste of onion. Lots of great bagel and cream cheese options.

Great customer service! The employees are so friendly at this place! One of the guys came up to me at my table while I was waiting for my bagel sandwich and said it would be a few more minutes because he was making fresh eggs. As another guy walked out, he asked if I was doing well and to have a good night. Thanks for creating a great atmosphere.

Sandwiches are very tasty. Turns out that a toasted bagel makes for great sandwich bread. They have some interesting breakfast items Id like to come back and try. In addition, Ive always been a fan of Caribou coffee. I like how they frequently rotate their selection of coffee.

Good quick bite to eat. The coffee is fine, if you like it extra chocolatey/syrupy. Staff was very friendly and the seating comfortable.

Stopped by at 8am, line was decently long but got my order in about 7 mins. It was worth the wait, I always get the farmhouse. They are accommodating on switching things up as I requested spinach be added and pepper jack cheese instead of cheddar.

I have had a few things from the food and beverage menu and the quality of those items has been good. The Nova Lox is fresh and the smoothies are very consistent. Unfortunately the service level of the teenagers is a little lacking.

When Im passing through town and I need my caffeine fix this is the only place I go. I love it now that they have Bagels too. I recommend becoming a perks member for their daily specials.

The wait was incredible. About 15 minutes in the drive thru with only 2 cars ahead of us. When we first got up to order, no one talked to us for several minutes. After we finally got our two drinks, there was no apology for the wait and the campfire lattes were not worth the wait. They had chunks of something floating in them.

Im never one to write these but it needs to be said. I live off caribou cold brew and this location consistently has been making terrible cold brew for the last month. I had my final straw when they told me they were out of cold press at 11:30 in the morning? Really? If you want better caribou go to the university location, you will get a lot less lip too.

Unfortunately for my wallet, I am now hooked on Caribou. I was never a coffee drinker before I tried Caribou coffee, but I have been converted. They have excellent service here, and its a great place to get a little work done. And the baked goods are amazing.

I went inside to order and service was incredibly slow. The only thing I could figure for the the delay was that the drive thru was given priority. I finally asked when my coffee would be ready and was told I was next. I had ordered a large and they tried to give me a medium. I corrected the person, she checked and said I was right. Then a large coffee was plopped on the counter and the gal walked off after muttering something I couldnt understand. I questioned her as to whether or not it was my coffee and she said yes. No apology for the delay, no apology for the mix up on size, no thank you for the purchase. I drink a lot of coffee, but I will NOT go back there. There are numerous coffee places with excellent service and those are the places that I will go in the future.

The food and drinks are consistent with the brands. Im always impressed with the efficiency of this particular store. The employees are great, too!

Food was average, portions were small, price point was pretty high for what they are giving you. $7.59 for something close to the size of a finger sandwich and a small bag of chips. Probably wont go back.

The combination of an Einstein Bagel (the best bagels) and Caribou Coffee (white chocolate campfire is my favorite) makes it the ideal place in the morning!

They can never make my order right, despite explaining it to them. It takes a lot for me to actually complain but the staff here seem to be so incompetent and my food is always ruined, which is super aggravating since Im paying decent money for it.

Good food. But my coffee didnt get flavor. It took ten minutes for my bagel and the gal at the register kept sticking her hands down the inside front of her aprion and then grabbed my food.. Just kinda gross.

Caribou coffee has a warm and fuzzy welcome. Both the hot cider and the vanilla latte were heavenly. Friendly patrons.

Good service, Good coffee & Great Staff

My family and I enjoyed eating at Einsteins locations in Madiso, WI during the years we lived there and we were excited when we saw a new Einsteins would be opening near us here. We were quite disappointed with our first trip today. Not only does this location not have the full Einsteins menu, but they also do not have fountain beverage service and the bagels we ordered seemed off. Rather than the traditional chewy bagel with a glossy surface, the bagels we ordered were dry and the food we received was not made as ordered. The staff were friendly and the service was fast, however, with disappointing food, I dont think we will return.

Ive been to this location several times and nearly every time theyve filled my order incorrectly. I like Caribou coffee but Ive decided I will not be returning to this location because Einsteins cant seem to make our food correctly.

If you want coffee or bagels, this place has you covered. Good service but it gets slow during busy times. Also they call cream cheese schmear which weirds me out, but thats just personal preference.

I ordered a caramel high rise today. It was terrible. It is very disappointing to order a coffee for $5.00, and it taste like burnt milk. The Caribou on University is much better.

I literally drive out of my way 20 minutes plus almost every single day to go to this location to get my breakfast.It is by far my favorite location! Im always treated well, Im kind of a picky eater and I dont like to eat anything too greasy or heavy... I never have to worry about that here, I will get a breakfast sandwich and a toasted Schmear, and keep them wrapped up in the car for a couple hours sometimes, when I go to eat them they are not soggy and they still taste great. I plus I can get an awesome breakfast sandwich, toasted bagel with cream cheese, and a small latte for around $12. Send it!

This is my go-to place when I want salmon on bagel. Service is usually pretty fast and the employees are friendly. My only complaint is that sometimes when they toast the bagel it comes out a little burnt.

Terribly slow service (20 minutes in the drive thru from the time we ordered until we left) and then we didnt even end up with what we ordered. If it was just our first time with that experience I could say it was a fluke, but it has been a consistently poor experience. I love Caribou but this one doesnt have it together.

We have come to this location many times and every time we come here there is always at least one thing wrong in our order. Today we ordered a zebra hot chocolate with milk and white chocolate and got an all white chocolate hot chocolate.

I have been going to this coffee shop since last year with out missing a day but today one of the workers behaved so arrogant with me ( old lady with her hair down ) .. she didnt even take my order properly and when i asked its 2 medium coffees for 5$ on Tuesday right, then she asked me first tell me do you want the dark or white chocolate.. how in the world you talk to your customer like that..i was so disappointed and felt like im treated like an idiot.. that lady didnt even care and when i gave my credit card she took it and swiped it so fast and gave it back with out even looking or smiling ( all i saw was anger in her face).. i did nothing wrong at all.. my whole day got spoiled because of her.. i will never go to this place again. i told the manager about her behavior as well.. dont know why they work here when they dont how to speak/behave with customers .

This is my second review after about 60 days of coming to Caribou Coffee on Hickman Road every Sunday. I also go to a breakfast club at Caribou Coffee on Ingersoll Avenue on Tuesday mornings. Einstein Bagels has now incorpirated its computer system into the Caribou Coffee computer system. Now when my weekly e-mail coupons come to me, the cash register scanner can read the bar code and give me the special price deal. There is a big free parking lot beside each building. There are plenty of tables and chairs so I can always find an open place to sit. My favorite coupon is the six bagels and a tub of shmear for $6.00. There are about 12 different kinds of bagels. My favorite in the toasted blueberry bagel with the maple syrup cream cheese shmear. I love the light roast blend coffee. The refills are free. I belong to the Caribou Coffee rewards program so I have the cashier ring up each purchase on my card. Then about once a month I get a free coffee or a free danish or a $2 discount on a purchase or 20% off next purchase.
