Donna & Tamika are absolutely fantastic! Donna took the time to teaching my teen daughter all about foundation vs powder. She showed her how to properly apply it & gave lots of little beauty tips. Tamika took the time to teach me how to do my eyebrows, made me feel so comfortable & like a friend. Thank you ladies for being so patient, kind & helpful!

I just had the worse experience. Walked it. Both employees were with other customers. Completely fine. I wait beside the makeup counter because I needed to be matched. I was completely ignored. Both employees helped other customers that walked in after me. One employee even looked straight past me and asked another customer if she needed help. At first I thought she was talking to me, but she was not. This was the worse experience that I ever had, at ANY business.

I go into this Sephora at least 2 times a week. Everyone is so helpful and so ready and happy to help you. I use to shop at Ultas but no one really is helpful there. I love this Sephora. Michelle Brown

I love Sephora products and this is a nicely organized store with a lot of great selections. It is located inside the JcPenny department store at Valdosta Mall in Valdosta, Ga. Its less than 3 minutes from I 75 on exit 18. The employees here are very helpful and can place an order for anything that you may be looking for if the item is unavailable at the store. The mall itself is anchored by Belks and JcPenny and has many different other stores to shop from including local boutiques to name brand stores. There is also a food court at the main entrance to the mall with food, snacks and drinks. Around the Colonial Mall are several other shopping centers including Bealls, Rack Room, Shoe City, Best Buy, Books a Million, Hobby Lobby, Kirkland, Michaels, Home Depot, Lowes, tractor supply store, Cato and more. There are also several full service gas stations in the area and a couple of new and modern car wash stations, nice restaurants such as, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Outback, Longhorn, Crystal River Seafood, Aligato, Pizza Hut, CiCi,s and more. Not to mention just about any fast food restaurant that you could possibly want all within 3-4 minutes of I 75.

I took my daughter to Sephora in Clearwater, FL. last year and was very impressed. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I cannot say enough about how good the experience was. With this in mind, I was very excited to have the same experience my daughter had.I went to Georgia yesterday and on the way home I stopped at Sephora in the Valdosta Mall. When I went in there werent any customers and I could hear the two employees in the corner talking. Employee A was stocking and employee B wasnt doing anything but watching. I said hello and told them that I needed help picking out makeup. I wanted to throw away. everything I had (as it was very old and outdated) and start over with everything. Employee B told A, You take her. I had the last one. Employee A said, no Im stocking. B said, Ill stock. A said, no. I dont want to. Employee B said, Fine then. Ill do it. Needless to say, I was very insulted. I had just told them that I needed new everything and anyone who shops at Sephora knows that makeup isnt cheap. As soon as employee B started to take care of me, the other employee came up and said she would be back in a few minutes. After that, several customers came in and the employee that was helping me left to take care of them. All in all, a horrible experience. I was made to feel like a second class citizen. I am in my 50s and very personable. Plus I was there to spend more than a little bit of money and they knew it. Side note. when I said that I liked the mascara made by It, I was told, I think we carry it but I dont know where it is.I had to look for it myself. Sephora needs to look at the employees they hired in the Valdosta Mall. I know Ill never go back. I get great customer service at Ulta and they like my money.

The staff are so hit and miss on how you get treated. I’ve been in there and the staff are so helpful and then there’s visits like my last one. Assistant was so rude, and when asked to check if they had a certain eyeshadow shade huffed while walking away. When asked to check if they had it online or if they could order it she acted like it was too much effort.

Hello,I recently visited the Sephora at the JCPenney store in Valdosta, Georgia. I had an incredible experience and I wanted to make sure she knew how awesome it was to have her help today! She made me feel like a million bucks and after spending the last two months living in a hotel and moving (we are military, moving from overseas), her kindness and attention to detail made me feel so comfortable. Her name is Tamika. I tried to find the survey to fill out and make sure Tamika gets the credit she deserves. This wonderful lady provided me with outstanding customer service and care! She was incredibly friendly, kind, funny, and extremely knowledgeable! I am new to Valdosta and she made me feel right at home! Seriously, I would probably go to Sephora just to hang out with her. I went to this store last Wed & was very disappointed with their customer service. I spent about 20 maybe even 30 minutes in there & not once did anyone ask me if i needed help. One girl w sparkly shoes was doing an older womans make up. She walked past me a couple of times as i was swatching make up. She said excuse me as she passed me but didnt even say hi. It wasnt until i was about to check out that i was asked if i needed a basket. What bothers me is this isnt the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time that this has happened but this might be the longest that i was in there & it happened. :/ The one reason i went in there is because the items i wanted were sold out online. Otherwise i would have purchased it online. I dont understand why this store is like this. It isnt that big to where you can be overlooked. The employees sometimes walk right past you. I wish i was exaggerating but im not. I feel i have given this stores employees multiple chances to get it right. I still dont get it. Sadly i think if its something i can get from ulta, i wil just get it from there or order it from Sephora online.

Absolutely GOD AWFUL customer service! I have never been angrier with a company in my life! I called the Customer service phone # when my gift card order didnt process. I was told by (a VERY rude) Customer service rep that because my beauty insiders account was not active my order could not process. He was very rude with me when I wouldnt give my debit card info over the phone too. I have been an Ultamate Beauty Rewards Member with Ulta for 2 years now. Have never had issues with Ulta and they are so sweet, not to mention Ulta gives me a FREE high quality gift for my birthday every year. I will NEVER EVER EVER order from Sephora again! Their customer service is a JOKE! Ulta will forever have my business from now on!
