I go in and out of phases with buying comics so it is always helpful to me to get some input on where to pick back up with the storylines. Buying from the local store sometimes costs more but buying online or through a book store doesnt give you personalized service. The owner takes time to get to know every customer and learn about your taste in comics. So if you are struggling to justify paying a little more you should consider that youre paying for the service and supporting a local business.

It isnt much of a stretch to call this a closet collection. Comics sure. Poor lighting. Care of previous releases is equated to a sleeve in a box but not a lot of support to keep them from doing the slide down which causes the dreaded arching.

I’ve known Andre for many Years! You won’t get a more Fair and Honest Person Than Mr. Andre Oliver. He is a Military Veteran so he knows what the world is about and he signed his name to risk his life for the country he Loves. He has overcame much in his life and has succeeded because of the lessons instilled in him by his Mother, the Military and Hard Lessons In Life. He’s not out to take advantage of anyone and stands up for the things he believes in. His Comic Store has Survived and Succeeded when all others have failed and that speaks volumes. If you are an honest person he will be on your side, but if you’re lazy, irresponsible, and just want to waste his time, move on to other endeavors. Because he is a driven man and doesn’t have time to waste. Go see this man and know he’s fair and honest.

A variety of comic books are offered for all ages. The owner is very personable. He is there to assist with all comic book questions. He is also ready to engage in informative dialog concerning the many genre involved in the comic book world...not just the popular and in at the present. .

Local comic book and hobby shop. Andre the owner is an awesome guy and is willing to help you find what you want. He will answer any questions you have and if he doesnt know the answer he will find the answer for you. Same goes for getting stuff if its not in stock he will order it.Me and my son have recently started playing magic. The people are great and are willing to help you learn the game. Several people gave us tips on how cards work.Me and my son also meet afew people that play warhammer. They were very friendly as well and knew alot about warhammer. We talked and I got some pointers and ideas on where to start with warhammer.

I live in Tallahassee but I drove up to Valdosta to visit some friends so I dropped by Kool Comics to check out their store since they are the only comic store in the area with comics, Magic supplies AND action figures (my vice of choice). Store owner Andre was nice and helpful and while the store was rather small the selection of new and used comics wasnt. He had a good mix of new and older comics and action figures. Even though the action figure selection was rather small, Andre noticed me eyeing a certain Mafex Dark Knight Batman figure and offered to reduce the price by about $8. I didnt ask and it was unexpected but not unwelcome. I left with a figure Ive been wanting for a while and a nice new store to visit next time Im in Valdosta. Please go give Andre your business and support local comic stores.
