My husband and I drove an hour and a half to go here since this is the closest Kay’s to me. I wanted to bring my ring in since it’s starting to tarnish and when I told the lady at the store that I was told “I wouldn’t do that it’s just going to get worse.” And no matter what I said it seemed like it wasn’t the right choice for the woman helping me. She also said she cleaned my ring and necklace and they were obviously not clean. I’ve been married for four years and I know what my jewelry looks like freshly cleaned and they didn’t look any different from when I walked in. I even came home and cleaned my jewelry and it looked 100% better than when she “cleaned” them. I called corporate about it and hope to get a call back from the store manager to get this situation figured out as to why it felt like we went in to just be pushed right back out the door.
Ive been a customer at this store for a couple of years now and didnt have an issue when looking/purchasing items until my last one. I was shopping and found a Leo ring just like mine but much bigger. I talked to Robyn about it and ended up trading my smaller version for it. I was able to keep my ring until the new one came back from sizing. This was on my birthday. Now, I did lose a little money on the trade, which I didnt like but accepted it at that point. The day of pick up, I changed my mind on the trade. I wanted to keep my smaller Leo, this one was very special gift. So I had another ring I didnt wear anymore to use in its place. When we got there, I told Robyn what I wanted to do and she told me NO in the most rude way possible. Im not sure if she thought I was cancelling the deal or not and she didnt ask. I made my position clear, I wasnt trading that ring and then she finally asked why and I told her I wanted to use another one in its place. She walked away for a moment and I told David that was rude and he looked at me like I was crazy to say such a thing. Robyn proceeds to do the refund of the original sale and told me Im not going to get as good of a deal as before. I knew this and how all this works since I used to work for Kays. Then she told me, she couldnt give me the sale price the bigger Leo since it was over. I called her out on that and told her I use to do it all the time. While we were finishing the new transaction, her tone was very condescending. I dont understand why. She actually made a little more this way. Wasnt much more but hey a dollar is a dollar.My point is, if I am a long time customer in your store, it does NOT give you the right to speak to me with the disrespect. We may joke and laugh at times but business is business. That line should be clear.On a good note, Samantha is one FANTASTIC person. Shes always sweet no matter what is going on. She tried to defuse the situation.Im still deciding to return the ring on the principle of the matter. I didnt want to spend part of my birthday like this.
David, Robyn, and Samantha were all extremely helpful during the whole process of choosing a ring. Highly recommend doing business with them. They went above and beyond for me.
I was at Kay Jewelers in Valdosta Mallon February 27. My intentions was on purchasing my wife a new ring. After waiting over a hour . No one waited on meI politely went across to Zales & purchased her ring. Kay Jewelers will never get my business . Bad customer service

First and foremost, I want to commend this store and the people working there for being absolutely amazing and understanding through the entire process we went through with them. They were patient and kind and were extremely helpful. I had purchased a ring that I ended up thoroughly disliking because of design flaws that I hadnt noticed when i first went in to look at rings. I had found one i liked but it wasnt in our budget. The manager David suggested we go custom and he sat with us for hours and really brought the perfect ring to life. He is very down to earth and helpful. He wont lie to you in order to get someone to purchase something. He would rather you leave without something than be unhappy with something you did purchase. He went above and beyond for us. Anyone looking for something custom or need some very good professional and honest advice, please see David. You wont be disappointed. I have never been so happy with a piece of jewelry. It was my dream ring and now I have it :)

Extremely rude and disrespectful. Would not show me the items I wanted because he wouldnt make as much commission off white sapphire vs diamonds.Me nor my family will step foot in this Kays anymore, if youre in the market for diamonds go to Zales! Their staff is friendlier, more willing to help, and they have better prices!
I went in to have my ring cleaned, it was done in 5 minutes after we were waited on. I also had a necklace that I got from Jared and they are repairing it. Thanks for the great service

The personnel in the store were very knowledgeable and very courteous
They’re nice and prices are not as ridiculous as jewelry normally is. Salespeople are kinda pushy, but only in a way that salespeople are. The salespeople are better than Zales by far.
