Dave and the staff at SOS are great. I have recently done my scuba, nitrox, and advanced adventure certification with them. At first I wasnt sure it was going to be for me... it was definitely out of my comfort zone, but they were patient with me and worked with me and now I love it!

I got certified by S.O.S a couple of years ago and have dove with them all the way up to getting my Dive Master certification. Dave is a great instructor and can help anyone with any specific needs! I have enjoyed all the new friends and family I have made while diving here. It’s a great local dive shop. I highly recommended this place to any level of diver or anyone who would like to get certified!

Nice selection but I go there for skateboard accessories and that section is really small. Would like to see it grow some since it’s the only skate shop around for miles. But the quality of what they sell is good.

Great place!

Left my BC and reg to be serviced and told them I had a week before my trip. I was given the impression it would be serviced by then and maybe even same day. 3 days later I called for an update and reminded them of my timeline. The day of my trip I went in to pick it up and it was not serviced. I was incredibly disappointed as I was led to believe it would be done. Would not recommend. Seemed the guy at the counter did not know what was going on.

Took my first class with them at VSU while in college did not get to finish with classes and all but went back 14 years later and now I am finally getting finished same Instructor and everything too cool ... Great store and Instructor!!!

Southern Ocean Sports is an amazing shop they have been there for like 30 years ... They are a NAUI Premier Training Center ... I took my class from there in 2008 moved shortly there after did not dive for like 8 years just moved back to Valdosta and Dave is still there teaching he is an awesome instructor and let me jump right back in with them like i never left ... They sale the best gear and service most gear and they have great prices ... Highly Recommend!!!

Great customer service

This is the only place we use for Dive Equipment and Air fills ... Even had the store on our TV show AxMen on the History Channel
