Weve been here several times this year. The store is very clean and the staff are always friendly, from the pharmacy to the cashiers and baggers. I wouldnt mind seeing ALL of the employees wearing masks.

Love to pick up wings or shrimp to go. We take it to the South Jetty and enjoy an afternoon watching the boats and people. The manatees and dolphin are a definite plus.

Shopping experience was nice people are friendly, although I work at a hospital and I will say it is somewhat concerning seeing the amount of elderly people they allow out into the parking lot without any help, thats a serious security and liability issue. Every 7 seconds an elderly person falls in the United States. It would be best to not see it happen on your watch. I watched a lady who was close to a 100yrs old walk out in the rain and wasnt able to lift her own bags... it was sad so I helped her.

Publix does things well. Consistency is the key...policy keeps it clean...well trained employees satisfy.

Super convenient, chill and friendly! The deli is amazing with their roasted chicken and sandwiches. Way better than Subway!

I love Publix. Some of the employees are a bit bizarre in their behavior, but others are almost normal. Some shoppers forgot to wear their masks but what do you expect? Its Florida.

Of all the Publixs in the Venice area, this is my least favorite location. Publix employees are known for being so very kind and helpful but whenever I have asked for help at this location, employees seem as if they cant be bothered, they come off as annoyed and on a few occasions, have been down right snippy. The boy who bagged my groceries did a very poor job, he was more concerned about continuing his conversation with the cashier than anything else, I calmly offered to bag my own groceries and he looked at me as if he was incredibly insulted. To be honest, I dont even care that much about the bagging, its just the way this locations employees act as a whole and because of that, shopping at this Publix is NOT a pleasure.

Its a Publix. If you have been to one you already know that they are a clean, well stocked grocery store. As always the staff are friendly and willing to help. And all Publix locations have a general same layout so you dont have to hunt for things.

Love this grocery store when visiting Venice! Nice bakery, pre-made foods, fresh flowers. Workers were helpful in directing us to items we needed.

As most Publix Stores are welcoming. My newest Publix is here on Venice Island and Ive gotten used to its people already. Besides the prices being firm. Its still my favorite place to take a break from our office and grab some goods. Publix makes my new spot a pleasure to live, Venice Island. The only suggestion I would make is Im not sure anyone really cares about 10¢ savings on any item they carry. Maybe 30 years ago...but I think the time they would save could be of use on more BOGOS. 10¢ or 30¢ savings or any savings less than a dollar is kind oflike a not really working to ease our climbing costs of the world today. Especially on the fruit. Please, we all live here and know how much an orange or watermelon really costs. Id be happier to just pay a $5 cover charge walking in. That was a joke. Still Love Publix. Nice selection of flowers! It would be nice to have someone knowledgeable & available from that department to have helped me with my purchase.I bought these Hydrangeas (pictured), one of my favorite flowers. But was VERY disappointed they literally shriveled up within 1 - 2 days - even when I placed them in fresh water & mixed in the Plant Food for each! Ive bought them from Publix before & they never begin dying off the day after purchase!

Buy one get one takes some preplanning, but the savings can actually beat lower be priced competitors. Youll pay a stiff premium otherwise. Staff is always wonderful!

Some outdoor lounge chairs were in the May 13th flyer and they never got them in. I was a wee bit(??)upset and the wonderful store manager, Toni, called many, many stores until she found me 2 that I wanted. Now THAT IS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE in my book!!!😁

Very nice staff got there 8 minutes to close trying to pick up western union they did it no problem even that close to closing... The lady at the service desk made my night by being so sweet and helpful...

As we walked in the door I got a text that my son would be fine at the doctors office in ten minutes. My friend and I were both able to run through a Publix we were unfamiliar with, get everything we came in for, and pick up my son only two minutes late.Granted, neither of us had a huge list but we didnt know the layout of this store and the checkout lanes were moderately busy.

This Publix besides being convenient is my favorite it always has what I want easy to find great people. Everything Ive come to expect in a Publix you definitely find in this one its just the nicest store and people

The new Mardi Gras wings is a top-notch item as the seasoning and size is above expectations. Price is also very competitive. If you have a gathering/party and need a catering suggestion, this is the place.

I love Publix but I very taken aback yesterday. I ordered an Ultimate Sub using the online ordering as well as paid for my sub. I asked for xtra banana peppers and black olives and did not receive xtra. Upon further inspection, I was SHOCKED to see I barely had any meat on my sub!!This has NEVER happened to me before when ordering subs from Publix. I do not order the subs very often and consider it a treat to myself when I do. I was extremely disappointed especially after spending almost $10 for the sub.I suppose everyone has an off day and I am sure that was the case here.

Terrible experience this morning at the Deli counter this morning. I was the only person standing at the counter. There are three workers behind the counter. They all seemed busy. Who they may have been waiting on, I had no idea as I was the only body standing in front of the deli case. In fact, no customers were at the hot food bar either.I waited for someone to acknowledge me or at least look up to give me a nod. Nothing. I waited for about two minutes, all the while feeling the part of the Invisible Customer. After another minute, I grabbed my cart and walked away.What were those workers doing, filling Internet orders? I dont know but I think they need to go back to Customer Service 101 training. BTW, this is not the first time that this has happened to me at this Publix.UPDATE. I Visited this Publix again this morning. Totally different experience! Greeted nicely by the Deli worker. Made sure I was taken care of and happy with the meats I bought. Hopeful that Ill have a positive experience like this next time I visit.

The prices are pretty expensive compared to others, but a wide selection of products.

Yes, customer service is great, but in this day and age, a self check out aisle is certainly called for. No need for two people - a checker and a bagger - in place of people who want to get in and out! One Express lane that extends up an aisle is no substitute for getting in and out on your own. SO slow here!!

I shopped there for 34 years and worked there for nearly 10 years until I moved to Port Charlotte. Ive always loved Publix, speaking as a customer, not just a (now retired) associate. The store is orderly and attractive. Restrooms are very clean. The service is excellent. Customer service is a high priority. If you cant find something all you need to do is ask an associate and they will walk to it or check to see if its in the back. When you check out and are pushing a cart they will offer to walk you to your car and help you load your car. If you refuse carry-out there are cart corrals for your convenience in the parking lot where you can return your cart. Ive shopped in other supermarkets but Publix is #1 for me!
