It’s half Walmart. Not super center. Had just a little bit of basic packaged meats and dairy stuff.

Do NOT order from Walmart plus for delivery same day. It is currently 10pm and I still have not received my order that I placed at 10am which was suppose to deliver 7-8pm. I called customer service and they put me on hold for 17 minutes than hung up! When I tried to call again, the phone kept ringing and ringing. Hopefully they are able to cancel my items. What a shame with Walmart plus!

This Walmart in Vernon Hills Location Doesn’t Stop Surprising me!😍..Soo..it’s snowing, right?..and they have all the snow equipment ready on display to grab it ..when elsewhere it’s sold out Already!!, They have (Clorox wipes with the kills Covid sticker)!..they have Bounty! .,they have always the season Ahead of time, whatever you celebrate they have it!!..( New Year’s 🎉, Lunar new year🧧, Valentine’s Day💓) .As you can see on the pictures their Craft section it’s so Good they have the Cutes flower for craft!..💐..Where else you can Dress for yourself for $1 ..or ..$2 for your family?..🤫👖👕This Walmart is the Only one in the neighborhood that has $1 SALES ..Always!!💸.., ALSO This is the Only supermarket on the neighborhood that they have curbside recycling bins♻️!!.. I wish they would keep their shelves stocked. More times than not, we come shopping only to find empty shelves for the items we are looking for. Thus making us go to another store. Eventually we will just skip walmart and go to the store that has no problem keeping their shelves stocked.

Excellent staff in electronics that always help you find the things you are looking for and go above and beyond. This location is very well managed. Wish more places were ran like this.

Walmart is a great place to buy art supplies from at a budget, i was able to get lots of paints and sketch books for just under 50, this will be my go to place for my art needs!

Usually not too busy - not super big crowds where you just dont want to deal. Almost have to do self checkout, very rarely is there a cashier available, if there is, its only one with LONG line. No fresh produce or meat, just frozen.

Had a good experience. Same old same old when going there. Sales on lots of summer things if you need.

Needs a lot of improvement. Makes shopping inconvenient since this not a supercenter store, its not a one-stop-shop. Such a shame they opted not to move it to the old menards building in Mundelein to convert and expand it.

They’re prices for Barbies are $2-5 cheaper than Target. Love it….

Go here if you don’t mind sitting in line forever. I’ve been in there 3 times in the last two months and they had one attendant working a cash register. The line was 6-7 deep while this poor woman is trying to scan everything. Number 2, why put her on a register with no long belt for all of the products. Nope, the register on the end with no counter space is used. If you have a full cart, you can only place a few items at a time. So again, while you can save money, expect to sit in line with no help for at least 20-30 minutes.

I love walmart but the one in Lake Zurich is much better

Walmart in vernon hills is lacking fresh vegetables and geacery pick up. But otherwise, I like the setup compared to other Walmarts that I visited.

This WalMart is smaller than most and because of this it is arranged a little different, but it allows you to navigate through the store faster and they still have more than enough for you to find what you are looking for.

Visit this store like so many times just now giving a review its always been a fantastic Walmart carry almost every product as the super Walmarts does even better prices very clean check out use to be a little rough but thats change due to the self checkout now great team at this place

This is not a super walmart. So you cant expect vegetables and meat. Dont have a bakery. Garden center is available. Well located. Parking is convenient.

Decent Walmart. Its not a Supercenter so its much smaller and doesnt have all of the good things Supercenter Walmarts have. The store itself looks aesthetically outdated as if you just stepping into the late 90s. It does have self-checkout at the cost of cutting the maned cashiers drastically. I think there may be at least 8-12 self checkout lanes but only 4 maned cashier lanes. This may be annoying to you if you have a cart full of items and now have to manually scan and bag your items.

I can usually find what Im looking for at Walmart. Generally I search the web for what I want and then I head out. I like shopping at Walmart much better than target.

May be cheaper than your average store but doesnt justify the lack of customer service. Worst place to Shop for collectives. They dont care the state it is they still expect customer to pay full price. Stating thats they state it was sold to them. Well maybe so but is not my fault they accepted something in horrible condition I am not paying and taking the lost on it. It was an All star Michael Jordan Funko pop in Damage condition!!

The staff are nice, and will actually try to help you instead of pushing me off onto another associate. And the checkout lanes are usually open, which is a big plus

The location is often busy and the lot a little crazy to navigate, but the location is well stocked and easy to navigate.

If you need a Covid vaccine do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Complete lack of organization.

This Walmart is on par with the rest. Have had no personal complaints about this store. Its stocked frequently. And theyre customer service is good. I came here to get my Illinois fishing licenses. They handled it very well and quickly. Would recommend this Walmart.

Walmart is great!!! I didnt give it 5 stars because the clients sometimes can bring a store down when they let their kids run around and destroy or make a store unorganized!!!

Update: Steve, one of the managers, took my call and went out of his way to fix this issue. Their computer system has a glitch. He offered me a gift card for my trouble and refunded the auto battery core charge (like should have been done originally). He was very friendly and tried to make my most recent memory of Walmart a good one.Original review: Horrible help desk service. They never refund auto battery core charge. Always some excuse why they cannot. They basically are stealing the $12 fee.

Stopped here to pick up school supplies and they didnt have many book bags to choose from and the girls clothing section was half empty.

I have no high expectations of Walmart but this is the worst I ever been. Its dirty, most things are not available and this was the first store I was asked for some change from a homeless guy inside the shop.

The Vernon HIlls Wal-mart is a very small and old store that needs to be replaced with a store that is four times large I will say that I have been shopping here at the Vernon HIlls Wal-Mart for as long as I can remember as I do injoy Wal-Mart as the staff are really friendly and extremely helpful.

Great found what I was looking for. The place well organized and clean looks like they are maintaining with the social distancing and keeping carts and baskets clean. Friendly employees and very helpful, bathrooms were clean so thats a plus for me

The thing good about Walmart is prices. Closest open very late for 24 hours other than that its Walmart and its really not much to say youll find what you want sometimes it a great price sometimes in the regular price. Oh no it was a pleasant experience I rarely go to Walmart but when I do its usually because theres nowhere else to go lets say 10:30 at night or even 11. He has many departments all youll usually find what youll need. Probably thats why Walmart is still number one on the Fortune 500

We had to pick up a bike there for my sister and they assembled the bike well.

I have great appreciation for online curbside pickup. They do a great job from picking the order to loading the car.

Even though the store had a lot of merchandise we couldnt find anyone to wait on us. We were there shopping for a registry and had trouble finding the items. We got so frustrated we left without purchasing anything.

This store doesnt have fresh fruits and vegetables because they are a smaller store. But I can usually find more here of non-food items then I can at other stores. Always better to shop during the week and not on the weekends.

Not enough check outs open. Assistants are not very knowledgeable about anything. Had to leave items cause no one knew how to fix the problem. Took to long, Im handicapped and could not continue to stand. And yet still got stopped at the door!

They deliberately wrecked a rim of mine my wife was to have the person arrested but she let him off I threw the rim away and yelled at my wife for that one

The customer service department is AWFUL! one cashier to a line of 10 people the day I was waiting in line. The store is very gloomy and depressing. I purchased a cold drink from a cooler by the register and when I got home I notice it had been open and partially consumed.

The grocery part was why i went but it was s lot smaller than i expected no fresh produce unless i over looked. It was a new experience for me strangely

Theres a good selection of stuff overall, but they barely had any stickers for arts & crafts! I figured theyd have a better & wider selection, but it turns out that they didnt. It was kind of disappointing because thats what I mainly went there for. They have pretty good selections on everything else though & a lot of greeting card options. The customer service overall though is fantastic! Sometimes the lines do get pretty long, but they just implemented a lot of self checkouts. They also pride themselves on having cameras in their parking lot in case of incidents. However, my car was hit in their parking lot before & the person ended up running off. When the police officer came to issue a report, they informed me that their cameras didnt catch the footage of the hit & run. I was baffled & disappointed to say the least because I was parked not that far from the side entrance. So be careful where you park your car & who youre parking next to!

First time shopping with the company in several years and after 2 trips they couldnt find my online order and had to refund me. Cost me a tremendous amount of time and lost the ability to get the product elsewhere as my money was tied up with Walmart and product sold out. Wont shop there ever again. Reminded me why I have a never Walmart rule. Complete incompetence and corporate neglect.

I dont like this store at all. Store employees are all unfriendly. I said hello to three associates and not one said hello back..then to top it all off they didnt have what I went in for so it was basically a waste of time to even go in the store.

We did very well Xmas shopping. Store was safe, pretty empty, and well stocked with merchandise.

This store is easy to navigate. They keep several items we need in stock and at low prices.

Hand sanitizer is available and its always neat and orderly here.

My pharmacy there at the vh location is great I feel. My family has been using them for a while. As for store. Nice remodle. Still needs bike rack to lock bike. But isnt that important just the little things can make a difference in our security and confidence in the big box stores.

Good store, but alot of shelves not stocked, such as cooking spices.

I find shelves frequently out of stock of sale items as well as normal routine items: eg. 2% milk, Gatorade 12 oz. Orange flavor...etc. Need to replace this location with a Super Walmart. Surely the demographics in this area deserve & could easily support one.

Does anyone like to be forced into doing things for corporate profit? End of last year this Walmart introduced multiple self check lanes. Me personally, I don’t use them. I feel they are replacing workers which is the only human contact left because you can seldom find help when you need it. So I wait, for them mostly. Now the cashier manned stations are not being staffed. This infuriates me as the wait times get longer. But being a positive person I found some things you can do while you are waiting! You can use your smart phone to order things from Amazon! You can watch the manager play on her smart phone while people are struggling right in front of her! You watch John, Allen and the other top quality checkers struggle work their buts off, seldom taking a break while the manager yawns cause she is bored from checking social media on her smart phone. You have time to think of other options besides being abused for corporate profits standing in line waiting for the best customer service employees in the area. Maybe the manager can also look for a new job on her smart phone when people wise up and quit coming there.

The experience is never bad when you have friendly staff helping you. My past experiences with unfriendly cashiers has always deterred me from returning to a particular store. Please train or retrain all your staff to show some consideration to customers. A smile never hurts.

I’m not sure whom I actually spoke to but she was at the pick up spot just now. I called in to track an order and she was extremely nice and helpful. Was truly a breath of fresh air compared to the other customer service people from FedEx that I had just dealt with tracking the package.

One of your employees was smoking and parked in the no parking space that is next to a handicapped spot. Someone in a car that needed the handicapped space pulled up and ended up running into the ladys vehicle as she couldnt get into the handicapped spot. If that isnt reflective of what this Walmart is like, I dont know what is. Every single employee that I would come across was on their phone. The employees, and even many of the patrons at the store, are beyond rude. Just go somewhere else.
