Everything in the name lives up to its meaning and values! EVERYONE there really goes above and beyond to show that they CARE and are fully knowledgeable in what they do. I had a somewhat common issue with my exhaust and within a span of 24 hours (from the Initial diagnosis appointment, to parts ordering, and the repair job, itself) I was back on the road again with an even better sounding exhaust than what it was when I first bought my car early last year! The pricing was BEYOND fair, as well and exactly as estimated/quoted to me. No surprises. No gimmicks. For as long as Im residing in the area, this place will have my business, without question. I suggest to others who are researching mechanics in the area should do the same. Look no further. You will not be disappointed.

I did an oil change and they said my drain plug was stripped and the second guy said sorry, Then said I needed an oil pan and gasket, it was gonna be $300 dollars plus labor 🤧🤧🤣 it was an old guy in the front desk! So I was dripping oil for 1 whole week! I did tell them my dad did mechanic and he’s not even licensed so when he checked it all he did was clean the drain plug and tightened it! He said it was just loose! So do not go to them cuz they’re trash! Sad my dad 56 been doing mechanic his whole life and knows more than them without license 😭😭🤧 btw I still got the papers from when did the oil change! 😌💯

They completely ripped me off. They charge for something they did not do. My car was rattling and they said it was some kind of belt. They charged me hundreds but when I immediately left the problem still persisted. I brought it to a dealer and they fixed it. Scam artists. Seems kind of criminal to charge for something you dont do. Will be reporting them and disputing charge with my credit card.

Got Rear brake pads, rotors and calipers serviced in July and it is currently September. Since then, rear tire Calipers were too tight to the point they were causing destruction to the rotors and new pads. The service and pads were supposed to be warranted as specified on the receipt. Fortunately, we did NOT go back to the Vernon location and instead got some great assistance from the Rocky Hill meineke. The Vernon location did not want to honor the Warranty and we are now here paying another $450 for something that was supposed to be serviced in July. Vernon Meineke in fact made the situation WORSE. Please for the sake of your car and your wallet go to the Rocky Hill location or a place that will just do better. The managers name is Stew and I recommend not to trust his judgement because it seems as though this is not a one time occurrence based on the information from the other locations.

Very upset with vernon, CT location. Stu-the owner, charged my wife and son forRotors “caliper and slide service” ! Pd $150.00 for labor. Got the car home and it started grinding this never happened before repair. Had to bring it to another Meineke and pay another $150 labor!!!!! Total $466.00 at Rocky Hill Meineke that actually did the repair and $419.00 Vernon Meineke who did not change caliper. Do not go to Vernon, they rip you off!!! Almost $900.00 spent. Called Corporate they do not help. They say they are independent franchises! Excuses!

I brought in my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 and my 2005 Buick Lasabre. Between my two older vehicles I got 1 new sub-frame, new gas and break lines in one, and while only the AC was working in the Buick when I brought the vehicles in, the heater and AC now work in both vehicles. I say honestly without hesitation that car repair shops simply doesnt get any better.Combine the quality of work performed on my vehicles with how quickly they made the repairs and were sending me on my way with a smile and you feel lucky. But when I add the price I paid for the repairs with the customer service that I received during every single visit and then think about the quality of their work and the speed of the service and again I say without hesitation that it just does not get any better!Between the extremely knowledgeable group of mechanics working in the garage and the guys inside behind the counter you have a winning combination that has my business for life!Thanks Chris & the entire Meneike staff!

Went in thinking my wheel bearing was the issue and expected to spend anywhere around $500 for the service/parts. Dropped car off at 10 a.m. and Stew had a diagnosis for me by 11:30. Told me it was not the wheel bearing but a rotor issue and I would save a butt ton of money due to this. Ended up paying $130 and the car drives as good as new. Car was done and ready to go by 12:30. No more shaking of the passenger tire or when I brake. Will DEFINITLEY return.

Owner and manager were both extremely friendly and honest. My car was fixed quickly and at a competitive price. The shop was exercising caution in regards to Covid, and everyone had on masks as well as taking additional measures to ensure appropriate distancing. I am 100% confident that my car was in good hands, and I will be using this shop exclusively from now on.

Honestly 1 of the best run business Ive seen in a very long time. People extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable l. Prices were more than reasonable. As of this month, I’ve been coming here for the past 5 years. Stew and his team earned my loyalty when I moved to the area, and began shopping for repair rates. Stew’s team assessed my car, told me exactly what my vehicle needed, and explained that the other shops were up-selling unnecessary services.Also, there at least 2 occasions when Stew’s shop repaired shoddy work done by others because I had car work done while I was working out-of-state.Done.Stew’s place is the only place I bring my car for repairs and regular maintenance.

Came in expecting to need a brake job when I heard squealing when applying the brakes. It turned out the brakes pads, rotors, and drums seemed to be fine. They just needed to be cleaned up and lubricated properly to get rid of the squeal. Happy to hear when they told me after the inspection. Its nice to have an honest repair shop. Some shops would have tried to charge for a complete brake job front and back. I appreciate the honesty! Reasonably priced too!

I went in to get all 4 pads and discs replaced imagining they all probably need to be changed. It was all priced out and everything. When they checked the car out the owner came back and said your front pads and discs are actually good, you just need the rears. They could have changed all as I asked and make twice the amount of money from me but they didn’t rip me off. Feels good to know there are still auto service places out there like that. I would definitely recommend checking out this place. First time here so will update on rest of the experience but so far it’s great! Very honest people! 🙂👌

These guys are awesome, especially Chris. My partner got locked out of his truck (it’s old school and has a separate key for door and ignition) and he went in to the shop and these guys completely helped him out. One call to AAA that didn’t have to get made. Didn’t get anything fixed here, but, you couldn’t ask for nicer and more attentive staff. If we ever need a muffler...

As always great service. I had a couple of issues that they were able to diagnose and correct as expected. The primary reason I brought my truck in was because it was shaking pretty bad at highway speed. They checked the suspension and said everything there looked fine so they suspected a tire balance issue. They balanced the tires and the problem is gone.

Normally I dont prefer chain shops, but this is one definite exception. Stu (the manager) gets his hands dirty and gives a more than fair rate for any job I need done. His crew is great about getting the job done quickly and right. Service is always pleasant and accommodating and I have yet to see any indication of them milking the work. I highly recommend this shop for any brake or exhaust work you need done!

Ive been to a few Meinekes throughout CT and this is by far the cleanest and friendliest Ive been to yet. The service was fast and the pricing was less than expected. Id definitely recommend my friends to come to this location.

The staff seems very polite, friendly and genuine. They also seem eager to help.That is where it ends. I came into have my brakes looked at because they where making a noise. A mechanic took my.car for a test drive. When he returned he pulled into a bay. After about 15 minutes he came out to discuss what he found. He began with a big speech about what he felt the car needed, not once talking about the brake noise. So concerned about the up sell they ignored why I came there in the first place. I asked twice about the brake noise and after the second time the mechanic just said clean your brakes that should do something for you. They are so focused on getting the larger pay day they make the customer feel stupid for coming in for what they feel isnt worth their time.The customer area was certainly clean and nice. Most have been paid for by unsuspecting customers that they took advantage of.

I had my car serviced here a few times. I really liked the people there. However, at my last (and final) visit, the mechanic negligently handled my oil change and thus my oil leaked from my car without my knowledge. When the signal came on, I was very surprised since I had recently changed the oil. I brought the issue to the manager and he refused to acknowledge my request to have it looked at. I had to go to another mechanic to fix the car. I will never come here again.

Supp to be 45 min to one hr.wait turns in to almost 3 hrs .Price of 115 doubbles after they fix one brake sensor then say there is another one bad that then found out when they went to reposition itVery strangeThe odds of two of these failing at the same time is almost impossible .Very curious since they ordered the wrong the first time .And now found another broke one .They did offer to put it back to he way it was and leave the brake light on and only charge me 40 bucks for labor for completly wasting almost 3 hours of my time .Let them do the rest of job the one I needed when I got there and the one I needed after getting there

Got charged 21.27 for an emissions test. figured this was a way for the service guy to pocket some extra cash and when i asked about it he said its always like this everywhere you go for your emissions test. Im not gonna make a big deal over it but its the principle. very disappointed.

First they tell me that to change my rotors and shpoes would be $ 454 thanks to a sell they are having and then after I dropped the car off they wanted $1,000. It was a misunderstanding I was told of course at my expense and at their benefit.A serious company would have stood by what they say, especially because it was their fault in miscommunicating, but they didnt. Without their discount the total would have been $100 less than what BMW quoted me. So I got my car back and left.As far as I am concerned its true what they say, all reputations are earned and they are no exception.Now after my post I am expecting one of their employees come here and post a faboulous review on how great this company is. Its all BS.

I took my car in for a rattle. They told me it was the timing belt and charged my like $80 saying its fixed. I immediately leave and its still rattling, doing the same exact thing! And to top things off, they scratched the side of my car. I then brought car to dealer and they found and fixed the problem immediately... a broken motor mount causing the rattling. They obviously dont know what they are doing, wasted my time and wasted my money. Considering they charged for a fix they didnt even fix, without offering to find the real problem or offer a refund, they should be avoided. They are con men crooks who couldnt find a simple rattling noise.
