I would not use this garage. i brought four new tires. The weights have fallen off numerous times and my ride has never been nice since i used them. Yesterday, I noticed the weights fell off and brought it in. I paid over 70 dollars and its worse now. It shakes at 40 miles an hour and never shook before. I do not recommend this garage.

Always excellent customer service, with educated team members willing to go above and beyond. I would recommend this location to anyone.My family and I go here faithfully. I brought my car in recently to see if they could help me with something, and they were extremely helpful and understanding. A young man in the front with a beard, whom I did not quite catch his name, I apologize (Jumar/Umar?) was very knowledgeable and helpful, and Tom, the manager, was great, as always; educated, with great leadership and customer service skills.

Got a tire alignment and wheel rotation on Fourth of July weekend. Must have been too eager to get out for the holiday as my car is now having issues it never had before taking it. My steering wheel now shakes going anything above 55 mph and my car still pulls to the right. They told my I had to get my rear brakes replaced so we did but apparently that “distracted” then from noticing I also need tires because I came back 10 days later after showing my family my car issues and they now claim they got so distracted by my brakes that they forgot about me needing new tires. They only did two brakes but forgot that all 4 of my tires that are infront of your face the whole time “urgently need to be replaced” they will send you away in a death machine ans not own up to their mistakes. Utterly ridiculous. They only care about money.

I trust this Firestone, Vernon, CT, over the Nissan dealership, and all the other shops I had to try before I found someplace where Im confident in the constant quality work

Quick. I was in and out in about 1 hour. Went in about 8 and got out about 9. Just needed 2 front tires mounted, balance and needed alignment since they’re new tires (BFGOODRICH) Nice guys upfront. Will go back again for the rear tires when i get them. Thank again!

I called to have my firestone snow tires mounted and balanced. I was told to bring them down. Upon arrival I was informed that they do not install used tires. I did purchase them from a firestone retailer that is no longer local to me. very disappointed. I will not be purchasing firestone products ever again after this.

Brought truck in for a Alignment and tire rotation A month after I brought tires from firestone. They say they did alignment and tire rotation but when I check tires they were never Rotated Stated on my paper work that they rotated but they have lied. Don’t trust them. Always check there work.

They did a great job with changing my tires. I was glad they were open on a Sunday before Labor Day.They also quoted me between $1100 and $1300 to fix my rear brakes. I do appreciate that they made me aware of the issue. And, I know that they need to meet their bottom line.But, I just got quoted at less than half that by my usual mechanic. So, keep that in mind when considering getting a second opinion.

Always have my car needs done here. Easy to make an appointment by phone or online. Service is excellent. Mechanics always review issues with car and do not pressure you into things that arent necessary at the moment. Prices are reasonable with many coupons on their website. Waiting room is clean and accommodating.

The best experience I’ve ever had from a large chain shop! Both Asian Guys were the most honest and kind.I was driving from Fl to Maine and experienced unknown issues in my vehicle. Desperate to get help and fast before breaking down on the highway Firestone was the second shop I found my way to that day after being blown off by another shop nearby that didn’t want to be bothered with checking out the issue.These Guys at Firestone were so pleasant, not pushy with making profit quotas and didn’t try to sell me any Bull S.Highly recommend this place. They had me in and out in no time so I could continue up north at little cost compared to what I’ve experienced from other large retail shops.

My best friend lost his breaks. They were so very busy and still got his car in. It got done the next mid morning but it got done fast. I am very thankful that the man who worked on the car did a great job. Saves $100.00 off of his bill. I made beef stew and made sure the worker got it. I show my gratitude in how fast my friends car got done. Also to the young lady who took care of my friend when we told her about no breaks. She knew that you cant drive with no breaks, we were very fortunate that Firestone was right there! She took great care in getting the job done as well. You could see that all the employees were very tired. Long waiting for people that two days. You need to have patience when this happens to you and dont get put out, just breathe and take things as they come. Thank you Firestone employees. Hope the home office gets you all hot food for working through your breaks.

Sal at the customer service booth figured out a way to squeeze me in. He never let on that I didn’t have an appointment there. I only realized when I took a better look at my schedule. Professional.

Extremely bad and frustrating experience. This was my last visit to Vernon Firestone.I dropped my car for an oil change at 9 AM and the car was not done even at 5:45 PM. They could not do an oil change in 9 hours. They didnt even call me after all this time and when I showed up at the shop, the front desk had no regrets or basic manners to say sorry. Instead they were putting blame on me. I had to get my car out without servicing. When you give your car for servicing you expect a turn around in a couple of hours and not 9 hours. Horrendous service and pathetic attitude.

Been having service done here for years, they have some great mechanics that have been working there for a long time.

Ordered tires from Tire Rack and had them shipped here for installation. Called on a Sunday afternoon and was able to get a slot to get them installed. I was asked the make and model of car, as well as the brand of tires I had shipped to the shop.After about an hour wait, installation payment was made and I went to leave. Checking the tires I saw they were not the ones I had ordered, even though I was previously asked which tires I ordered.I went back in and noted that the wrong tires were installed. The manager verified they had my tires in the back and had the mechanics install the correct tires. A free oil change coupon was given as compensation for making us wait longer.Aside from the wrong tires initially being installed the install itself was good. The car rides well and the tires feel well balanced.

I brought my car in to replace the socks on the vehicle. The staff there were very knowledgeable and understanding of the issue at hand. The individual who assisted me was detailed and walked me through all the charges and what would be done. Would recommend to anyone.

Slow took over 6 hours to change 4 tires and do an alignment

Very efficient sales and service team. Super clean waiting area/lounge. I was in and out in about 90 minutes on a busy Sunday. I was a long time customer of Town Fair Tire, but this Firestone really impressed me. Ill most likely stop there first next time I need tires.

Their business model motivates mechanics to communicate a few problems with the cars in hopes that the customer will pay more for these repairs, so that the mechanic can get commission.Unfortunately, weve experienced this recent as we brought the car to a local mechanic to verify the issues and they claimed that there werent any problems claimed by the guys at Firestone.Shady business model. Do not trust these guys.

I just had 4 tires installed by the Vernon Firestone. I made an appointment for 11am. The shop was very busy but they brought my car in within a few minutes after I arrived and had the job done in about an hour. The facility is very clean and welcoming, the staff were very polite with people and there was no pressure. I expressed a concern about my wheels since they are still in excellent condition and Ive had bad experience with different installers in the past. Dave immediately said lets go take a look at them and inspected them to see the condition. He them passed it on to the staff who were extra careful with the air wrench, used a thin walled socket so as not to scratched the rims around the lugs and even torqued the lug nuts by hand. After that I watched the tech wiping the wheels down with a cloth to make sure they were clean and untouched. An A+ job, They made my day since I was expecting the worst. I highly recommend these guys.

Love this place! all the guys are so nice Tom is such a sweetheart. Dave also is anther favorite. they take the time to answer questions or concerns and explain thibgs . also when you have a budget they do all they can to stick to it. I travel to go to this place since I have moved because they are that good. also they just remodeled and it is super nice!

I went in there to buy 4 new tires. First of all they beat every ones prices on the best tire explained every thing and kept me updated on what they were doing. Justin the one I felt with was very respectfull, the place was really clean. Awesome experience.

I will never go here again... they replaced a tire pressure sensor that broke. The light came on the very next day. I went back and they said sorry you must have hit a large bump, they break easily, we are not responsible, you must get it replaced again. He mentions how they have tire insurance for like $10 a month for problems like this. I get it.I make an appointment for later in the week to replace the sensor again. The lady informs me the tire insurance does not cover the sensors in the tire, only the tire itself. I have to now pay all our of pocket....I had arrived at 5pm, by 6 pm they say we dont have this part, going to cost an extra $30-40 to order it now from a nearby store and get this done today. I do it, they put it on, I leave the place by 7:45 pm. The lady there says your all set, everything is recorded on file. A week later the light goes on again, and I call them upset and make another appointment.When I get in they say the sensor is broken, I will need to buy a new one. I told them I just did this, this is ridiculous. They agreed, 3 sensors in 2 weeks?! After searching my account on the computer for ten minutes, they says they have no record of me ever going in and buying a new tire pressure sensor or from anyone there working on my car the week before, they said I must be mistaken....... Sure, perhaps my mistake for not getting it in writing. But I have been going there for 2 years with no issues so I had some trust in them.... Im 25 and local Vernon resident, they lost my business forever.regardsBK

Ben took care of me. 4 new tires and alignment.Would of gave 5 stars but tech could not adjust in rear toe for risk of breaking the bolt. 5 stars if it was taking care of.Tires feel great, vibe gone at 75+, and wheel torque checked at 100 ft lbs +/- 10, this ones big often i arrive home to find 300 freakin ft lbs on the lugs.Also installed TPMS sensors i brought from home overall experience was great.

David Blais, the store manager, runs an excellent business. Hes the most honest guy youll ever meet at an automotive repair facility. Steve, their lead mechanic, is equally honest and incredibly talented in fixing complex vehicle problems. My family and friends all go to the Vernon Firestone and are always happy with the service they receive.

This Firestone is a great representation of what a Firestone really is. Vernon Firestone does a fantastic job when you bring your vehicle to them.I just came back to CT on leave from Mississippi, I had my oil changed by a Firestone down there, and it turns out they stripped the oil pan drain screw.No biggie, Vernon Firestone took care of it, by keeping the warranty done by their cousin Firestones. This shows that Firestone keeps their warranty, and guarantees a great job everytime.Remember when you use Firestone, you have the support of hundreds of others around the country. Going to them means you are is covered wherever.

Kind, Compassionate staff! They went above and beyond trying to find a solution to my issue, which unfortunately had to be resolved the following day, when I returned they were prompt in getting me back on the road!

Tom was great. I had new snows put on along with an oil change today. They had me in and out before no time. Gave me a few tips about what to do to improve performance and I was on my way. This is how i like things done. Will be back next time i need work done.

I love the service they give me at the Firestone in Vernon CT. When I go there they always take good care of my car and me as well. They give me a ride back to work and come pick me up. They always explain to me what is wrong with my car and let me know how much it will cost, no suprises. I recommend them to all my friends.

They charge you for absolutely nothing. It happened so many times, but I trusted them and didnt figure out. The last time, they told me that I have a oil leakage which needs to be fixed. Then they charged me ~$120 to add a dye in my oil and cleaning, and asked me to come back after a few hundreds of miles, then they inspected and said it has massive oil leakage and needs several hours working and gave me quote for ~$500.I brought my car to another mechanic shop, they showed me that theres absolutely no oil change and everything was just for charging me over and over. Im really angry that I trusted them for the previous charges and never gonna go back there. Dont trust them at all!

Vernon Firestone has careless technicians. After having my car looked at one of the technicians broke my inside door handle and tried to lie and say they could not have broken my inside door handle. I can no longer get out of my vehicle and they will not replace the part. They do not accept responsibility for their actions.

I arrivd unannounced at this store at 6:40 pm after having experienced a viscious blowout on I-84 westbound in Mass. (Thanks for the quick tire change, Sturbridge AAA! No thanks for the MASSIVE pothole, Mass DOT.) The store was scheduled to close in 20 minutes. Expecting “No” for an answer, I asked the woman at the counter (Jamie) if she/they would sell me a tire/installed at this late hour. THEY DID! - - - 5 star price - - - 6 star service.

Two things...1. Ive been getting charged new valve stems when I get tires put on for a while now. Come to find out you do not need new valve stems and they can reuse the old valve stems. They either destroy the stems in the process or charge you for new valve stems and just use your old ones without you knowing and telling you.2. I never have people drive my car EVER. If its at a shop, I always go with someone driving my car because,... Why would you trust a stranger with your property? I wouldnt trust a stranger in my house alone, would you? Anyway, they have a complete stranger; a mechanic test drive my car all alone without telling me, so now my car is probably getting abused by this kid on the highway with me not there to ensure everything is good. This pissed me off considering I dont trust anyone alone with my property! If I do go back, my car is not leaving my sight!

Came here to get my check engine light diagnosed only because it is local and close. They told me that an pump in my Evap system needed to be replaced and that all their other tests came back negative. Spent almost $600 for parts and labor. Two days later my check engine light came back on (even though they said they were positive that pump was the issue). Took it back and this time they said I had a hole in my fuel filler neck. Quoted me $1700 for parts and labor. I decided to get a second opinion with a shop specializing in German cars (I have a VW). They found no issue with my fuel neck or tank at all and ended up replacing a censor for a total of $170. My lights been off since. I wonder how long they would have strung me along with false information. I probably didnt even need to get that pump replaced. Will never use Firestone again.

Horrible, I wish I could post no stars! Ive been going to this place for many years and 2 weeks ago had a weird sound from my car and everyone said it was the belt, and I thought so too. Well, I went to get an inspection and they said there was something else, something more serious, wrong. They told me it would be $1,000 dollars and I was okay with it...because they have always done good work for me. When I told my mom, she took it to another mechanic, a friend of a friends, and he said it was a belt and he fixed it for $20. So, not only did FireStone lied to me to get more money, they also turned on my check engine light so that I would be in a more hurry to get it repaired. As a side note, they installed windshield wipers for me, but they were the wrong side...NEVER GAIN

They will put your life in danger. I wish I read the other reviews about getting your tires replaced. Within three weeks after the work from this Firestone, my car was shaking hard on the highway and back roads. It became undrivable and I had a different mechanic fix it. I was told to fax over the receipt and Firestone will refund me, instead I was called by their manager Tom and harassed during my lunch break by him and refused the refund. Disgusting behavior and negligible service.

I visited Firestone couple of times with a small problem, leaking air from one tire. Each time they told me the hole is to close to the edge of the tire and plug repair can not be done, so my only option is to buy new tire and change it. Each time I went to competitor to double check, and each time the competitor had no issues with fixing the tire with a plug.

Highly recommend them for any of your vehicle needs! Very kind bunch of people!
