His character and nature is a very friendly one, not pushy or insisting. I bought my first brand new car from Bill in 2010 (CRV) and 11 years later, he is still the same. By the way, the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming...and the chocolate chip cookies are the best. :) On a serious note, I went to a couple dealers looking to purchase a car and neither topped Vatland in regard to customer service. The BEST car buying experience we have ever had! My husband and I went to Vatland with the intention of buying a Honda Civic Hatchback. Bill Green, our salesman, showed us the car, and we test drove it. We weren’t sure about that one, so we asked to test drive a sedan, then a sedan EX-L, then a touring. Some of them we test drove twice. Bill was so kind and happy during our decision making process - 4 hours later we chose the touring. Bill is also very knowledgeable about all of the features of all the vehicles that he will explain EVERYTHING to you. He is an excellent “Teacher of Cars”. We could tell that Bill really enjoys his job. We would highly recommend Vatland Honda and Bill to anyone looking for a vehicle.We purchased a 2022 Honda Civic Touring with no markup added to the price. We visited other Honda dealers in our county and they were marking up the 2022 vehicles $3000 - $3500 on top of the MSRP. Vatland doesn’t do that, and that was a big plus to us, so we traveled outside of our county to purchase this vehicle.

Vatland Honda, Vero Beach, FL is the best run operation I have had the pleasure to do business with.My father purchased a 2003 CRV. I now own it with only 107401 miles. No problems because the maintenance department is always on top of everything. No kidding. I feel as though this is my personal dealership. Recently I dropped by to have my tires checked for wear and a patch on my rear drivers side tire. They took my car to the service bay and within the promised hour they completed my request but found a recall on a part and replaced that too!! How cool is that??
Finding a vehicle wasn’t easy but Vatland Honda had what we were looking for and Mike was great to work with. He communicated quickly, was very knowledgeable and friendly. There was no high pressure like some other dealerships we have visited either. Overall it was one of the best car buying experiences we’ve ever had.

Met Mike at Vatland Honda to discuss purchase of a New Honda Civic. Fortunately their was a 2021 Civic Hatchback had just arrived. We went for a ride and I knew immediately this would be the car I wanted to purchase. After the test drive we immediately sat down to discuss price with options on this car. Mike was thorough. After he had a brief discussion with his manager I quickly agreed to the purchase price. He started the official purchase paperwork. Mike was very thorough, going over all questions needed to complete the transaction and registration so I could drive home that evening. I never felt rushed or pressured about “purchasing extras”. Im not leaving the forthcoming review in return for compensation of any kind, nor do I hold any stake in those companies I mention.First time customer with Vatland Honda having standard services performed (oil change, tire rotation).Overall the experience was pretty good. I was met by a couple employees in the service registration area, but ultimately John was the individual who helped me during the entirety of my visit, explaining every step along the way. The service didnt take very long, having been completed in under sixty minutes.I will be returning for a couple recalls that need to be completed, but beyond that, based on my first experience, I will continue having my car serviced with Vatland.
Had appointment for oil, filter change and tire rotation….all 5 tires. I was greeted, asked about my car, etc. Car was well taken care of, as I was. Please note, that since getting my driver’s license in 1961, this is the first time I have not done routine maintenance myself. I am so pleased with the experience, that I will be coming back again.

I just traded in my Honda Odyssey for a brand new one. I worked with Sean in sales, and Sean in finance. They were like the dream team. I hate car dealerships. This place changed my mind. This was the easiest and most fantastic experience my family has ever had buying a car. Not only did I get an awesome deal, but I was in and out in no time, and the staff was incredible. I would refer these people in a heartbeat. I didnt feel like I was in a dealership at all. My husband even made a bet with me regarding how long I would be there because normally buying a car takes hours and hours. This was no such experience. The car and paperwork were ready for me when I got there and I was in and out in maybe a little over an hour. VATLAND Honda is very fortunate to have recruited their staffs talent. Second time going there with no assistance. I made an appointment and showed up early. Walked into one office, he sent me to my service rep. He was on the phone, so as a courtesy, I waited outside the office. He finished his call and walked past me, I thought I was next. A person did asked me to help,, while I was waiting for him to finish his call. Had I known I was going to be ignored, I would have taken it. Once he started helping the other customer, nobody offered assistance. AGAIN SECOND TIME IN A YEAR. I DO NOT KNOW WHIS IS GIVING POSITIVE RATINGS. The manager did call with excuses. No excuses for poor customer service. The VET does not recommend them.

They have personally been so helpful - answering any & all questions I have. In my 55 years of buying cars, never, never have I been so blessed with the outstanding service experience as I had with my Salesman Michael.He spent from 1030am until close to 400pm showing and explaining features of each auto I thought I was interested in.I walked in very anxious, dreading what was ahead of me. My father is 87 years old and in failing health. We tried to turn in his vehicle and this dealership tried to offer significantly less than the car is worth via Kelley Blue Book (by $7000!!). The car is 3 years old and has 8000 miles on it. I would NEVER recommend anyone to this dealership. They will take advantage of you - buyer beware!!

The salesperson (Schrem White) is exceptionally well versed about all the automobile models. She is efficient in getting trade-in values and information about options. She handled changing the insurance and State tags quickly. The day after purchasing the car, I had some questions and she made herself available to fit my schedule. She should be commended for her low-key sales abilities and making sure the customer is happy.
Guys, be really careful with these people. I ordered some parts online and after 2 days my mechanic told me I no longer needed them and I tried to contact them to make the return. They will keep 25% of the amount paid for the parts and 25% on the taxes if you need to return anything even if the parts were never installed. The customer service is really bad, but is way better contact them by email, at least in that way you dont get the phone conversation ended intentionally or spoken in a very rude way with no help at all.The restocking fee changes however they want. In one of the previous reviews they talked about 10% and I have been charged 25%. And havent gotten it back, they stopped responding my emails and Im still waiting for my money for over a week.
Sold my car back to the dealership a couple weeks ago. Woke up to another pending charge this morning. Wish I could give zero stars...edit. How about these screen shots that show you guys purchased the vehicle on the 3rd and didnt send the payment to Honda Financial until 10 days later after they had already charged me again??

I had two vehicles in mind when I went to the dealership. I had currently owned a 2010 accord, and was looking to replace with either another accord or a civic. Nanette showed me what was available and the cost of both. Only took a few days, but I was able to drive out of there with an upgraded version of an Accord which suited my needs. She made car shopping a most pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Buying my car was nice and easy and the price was right. This sales woman was remarkable so it pains me to write this article based on the service department. I got a puncture of my tire and was told that I needed four new tires because the quality of the tires on a brand new car was not very good for the Honda CRV. What I was upset about after finding out the tires needed to be changed after 20,000 miles was the fact that apparently the puncture had gone sideways and I was going to need to replace all four tires for a minimum of $1200. I just spent a Ton of my hard earned cash to purchase this brand new vehicle to find out that the tires were not great quality to begin with I come to find out that the service is scamming me and that the tire could simply be repaired. Not cool not going there againI’m not rating you on the car. That is secondary. I’m rating your service department for trying to make a sale on four tires. Your rep said the debris was sideways and the tire was ruined. That I would need 2-4!tires with no option to repair. I brought to two other places to price the tires and was informed they could just repair the tire for now and get another 5-7k out of the tires. Your not reading the review. Your getting out of it what you want. I’m upset that you tried to get me to shell out 1200 when a simple repair could be done for $20 and the tires weren’t worn down so please don’t use that excuse either. The Tec showed me that we were well above the line in the tread of the tire to not repair inside the tread. When I called you said it was a learning opportunity for the Tec. That’s not helping the situation for me and could have cost me $1200. You offered nothing except an excuse to remedy. So let’s be clear the car is what it is. The purchase was great the service get -10. That is all.

Didn’t purchase my vehicle through them, but it is a Honda van. Contacted me in the mail about some recalls. I called and set up for appointments to have them fix it was easy. Dropped it off and they kept in contact with me about needing 1 more hour. Offered a free rental, but I didn’t need it. Did a free complimentary check through on the whole van. Gave me a list of repairs and fixes I need, and let me know every detail. Hannah was so friendly and sweet. I LOVED doing business with them! Highly recommend vatland Honda on us 1. Speak with Hannah in services department! The mechanic was wonderful as well!

SWINDLED an 87 year old VETERAN! BUYER BEWARE!!!! Vatland Honda in Vero Beach is a very shady dealership. HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION AFTER THEY GOT ALL YOUR MONEY. Spoke with a nice internet saleswoman Lisa, but when I went to dealership to meet with her, was greeted by another salesperson, Emily. I asked to work with Lisa, but Emily said that she would handle my sale. We went through the price of a new Honda, then my trade-in needed to be appraised. The first figure they offered me was $3,000 less than another dealership did. So, the sales manager Dolly got involved and negotiated an extra $2,000 more for my trade and we shook hands. When I received the buyers order, I trusted that everything was as discussed and took possession of the car that evening, after much convincing. I did not even have the title or extra keys for my trade-in, but they said they to bring in the next day. I had been at the dealership for over 4 hours without any food. When I got home and looked over all the papers in detail, I noticed that to make up for the extra $2,000 on my trade, they upped the price of the new vehicle $2,000 + tax. It was too late to call the dealership that night, but I thought I would talk with Emily the next day. The next morning I had an MRI and became nauseous afterward. I called Emily and she said she would come over after work and pick up the title and extra keys to my trade in, and I asked her to bring in any scratch paper from our negotiations, and she said Dolly may have them. Emily never showed up, or called. I tried calling Emily several times in the next few days, thinking that they needed my title. After I did not hear from Emily, I called and asked for David Vatland, who was not available. I emailed David Vatland, and got a reply call from Dominic, the General Manager. Dominic just stated that you signed the contract. NO REMORSE, AND NO RESPECT. I have since tried to talk with the owner, the salesperson, the financial manager, and even the customer service manager. I also found out that they got a replacement title to my trade, stating that I had signed a power of attorney for them to do that, which I have not. Bottom line is: they owe me $2,000 + tax! P.S. they have already lost at least two sales because of their bad behavior and non existent customer service! One of their logos is that Vatland Honda is Earth Friendly, too bad they are not customer friendly!

My new Honda Dealership is 45 minutes away! Vatland Honda was the ONLY dealership on the treasure cost to actually take my concern seriously. One dealership said it was normal while other said they couldnt recreate the problem. My service advisor Hannah listened to my concerns and said well keep the car for as long as we need to. Half a day later she calls and said they found the problem! I was never left in the dark about my car. I was getting calls with updates throughout the day. I picked my car up the next day and was walked through the entire process of what they did and what they found. I returned their courtesy car and we left.
