4 stars because their restroom isnt accessible unless you pay, well, they let me use it without paying. But they have a sign on their door stating their restroom policy.Drink was good, I got a smoothie of some sort, orange I think is what I got, it was tasty.

The employees here are so friendly and engaged with their customers, whether regulars or new faces. Everything is clean and well kept.Being a barista from a local coffee shop, I called ahead to get a feel for what kind of coffee shop the Box Coffee was. I wasnt disappointed. They have a professional espresso machine with unlimited options, and tea flavors galore.My cappuccino breve (coffee lingo for half & half) was extra dry, exactly as I ordered it! I have come one other time with my friends, and neither times have I been disappointed! Come and enjoy a good cup of coffee in Victoria!

Good quality coffee thats roasted locally. I had an iced Americano, very good. The coffees are roasted just right, and really fresh. The baristas do a great job pulling shots and making drinks. The atmosphere is great, relaxed and welcoming. Its great to have good quality coffee in Victoria without having to go to that giant chain.

Nice lil coffee place. caramel macchiato was good. only concern i had was the barista making my drink kept pushing her hair back, while making the drink, no pony tail in her shoulder length hair.would recommend the macchiato, though 👍🏻

Nice, clean, and cozy! Great place to get your work done, play some old school boardgames, or work while your kiddos play those old school board games! Only 5 tables, so not much room, but if you can get a table... its so worth it. Oh yeah and coffee is Great too!!!

Very cozy. Much better than the new Starbucks remodeled layout. People were great, even going out of their way to make sure my picky daughter had a replacement for the drink she changed her mind about after one sip. 😁Relaxing music, ample computer plugs, comfortable variety of seats.

Cute coffee shop! Pretty thankful for another coffee shop in Victoria (not sarcasm). The only thing driving my rating down is the service. While it wasnt bad enough for me to flip out over it was off enough for it to bring down my rating. The hazard of hiring self entitled college students who are busy studying and not running your business. I know, Im a little old fashion when it come to customer service. The reality is, the next time Im in town I will be back. The coffee was pretty good as was the atmosphere.

I really liked this small coffee shop! They had a super fancy espresso/coffee machine, and the Specialty ‘Butterfinger’ drink I ordered was very satisfying. It was a pretty relaxed atmosphere with a couch for relaxing, several tables and a few board games in the corner. Drinks were reasonably priced as well as I know and service was quick for our visit late in the afternoon. I’m certainly planning on coming back here!

Adorable coffee bar nestled in Victoria. I 💝 local coffee shops. It helps when they make great espresso drinks and have clean bathrooms... Both of which The Box Coffee Bar excelled at... I got the Cafe Amor and hubby got a coconut iced coffee and we are very impressed! Definitely a recommend stop if you are a local or looking for local places in Victoria to relax.

Clean. Good enough coffee. Little overpriced for Victoria in my opinion. No regular drip coffee. Lack of Cakes/muffins etc to have with the coffee. Always hit or miss. I love coffee but with no simple regular coffee, I just go home and make a cup. >$5 for fru fru coffee....rather not.

Reasonable prices and this location is just the right amount of busy. Huge chain coffee shops sometimes are crowded and noisy, but this hole-in - the - wall spot is cozy and comfortable. I recommend the Mexican Hot Chocolate! Wifi is free for guests and the staff is always helpful. Try it out!

Amazing place! Amazing coffee and even better service. All the girls are great and John has serious talent roasting the coffee. Iced Americano is one of the best and Stacey can really put it together. Highly recommend this to anyone who is in to coffee and any beginners who arent sure, give it a try. They will make you a believer!

This gem of a coffee shop is lovely! My latte was the best Ive had and far surpasses Starbucks. The organic Earl Grey tea is delicious! So happy to have found this coffee bar!

WOW...just in town helping my Daughter with painting their home. Simply HAD to have coffee...so tried this place as the options out by the mall did NOT produce happiness to my taste buds. HOWEVER, The Boxs coffee with no cream and no flavoring is AWESOME!!! Thank you so much!!!

Love this place.the coffee is excellent, the baristas were very friendly and the price is very low which is always a great thing. Definitely better than Starbucks and until today I was a die heart Starbucks fan. Will definitely come here to get coffee again.

Although I wish they served a larger size frappuccino, Id take this over Starbucks any day. The texture is so much creamier and not as icy. I love studying here when I get the chance to.

Today I felt like my service could have been better.. They girl corrected me on my lingo ... I called the 16. Oz a tall... My mistake.... I ordered a mocha latte I felt like I just got a plain latte.. Ordered a sausage wrap. She didnt offer to heat it up, like they usually do. Asked her how long she worked there . She replied a year... .. Yes.. I still will go back.

For Victoria its a great Coffee Shop, if youre used to big city coffee shops then it wont be a life changing experience, but definitely a great place to study and chat with friends. It has a very cozy and calm atmosphere which is a nice contrast to the hustle and bustle of Starbucks, definitely a gem of Victoria.

Loved it, great place to meet new people, plan a get business or casual get together. Coffee is great, that got other options as well, Ive been here a few times to meet up with some friends, the customer service is on point, they are always willing to help.

Friendly people. I ordered a chai frap. It was creamy but tasteless which is a shame, I love chai and this was my first visit to this establishment. I really wanted to like it too in regards to location. I also considered about purchasing some sort of pastry but their display case was almost bare and what they did have was nothing special much less enticing. Keep in mind this was before noon. How unfortunate.

I came here on a Saturday expecting a large crowd, but I was surprised to see only 2-3 patrons other than myself.The atmosphere was nice. Very quiet...maybe could use some music in the background. But granted that most people that go in use their own devices for music, including myself, it wasnt that big of a deal.Lets get to the products themselves. I was expecting a larger quantity of choices, however they only had the very very basics that coffee shops should run...Americanos, Iced coffees, espressos...etc. Again, nothing bad, but nothing outstanding.I, and my friend, were both disappointed with our orders. I got a plain black Iced Americano and my friend ordered one as well but with cream and sugar. The moment the coffee hit my tongue I was overwhelmed with a burnt coffee taste. The taste completely overtook whatever bean they were trying to use. I wish the baristas would be more conscious of the product they make...burnt coffee can be smelled before it is tasted. Hence, our coffees were made burnt and the baristas did not pay attention during the brewing process.Considering this was a first review and tasting, I will try this spot again in the future. I was really hoping that this town would have a new perspective on coffee other than Starbucks.
