After driving to Zarsky Lumber Co during my lunch hour from across town, I was told I had to come back later because the employee that ordered specialty material had gone to lunch. The people are very rude and have very little knowledge about building material! The customer service there is disappointing and I wouldnt recommend doing business with them.

I wanted to order 50 sheets of Baltic birch plywood but I could not get any help. Instead I watched a man eat yogurt. What a waste.

They had what I needed, when nobody else delivered.

After confirming this place had the material I needed over the phone, I then arrived and was told they didn’t have the material I just confirmed they had 15 min prior to arrival! The people are very rude and have very little knowledge about building material!

Great lumber yard with friendly staff that are willing to go above and beyond what you would consider the norm to service their customers. The prices are slightly higher for lumber than the big box stores but I have found the product to be superior. I am a local contractor and really like that they carry a large selection of cedar lumber as well as Cabot products which are my favorite as far as finishing wood. Although the prices are slightly higher I will keep running my business through them for the service and product line. Support your local businesses!
