Over $500 for glasses that fell apart in 3 weeks while I was at a wedding in New York. Try and call the Eye Shoppe in Dunia Plaza in Victorville on the only phone I can find. Always get a recording and never a call back. Contacted Apple Valley office and am waiting to see what they do.
Very unprofessional staff at our initial appointment, 2 girls were short and very put out by our questions, Robin the GM was the worst. Arrogance and ignorance dont mix! Doctor was very kind and informative, professional but in all honesty for the money ($650) spent on my daughters glasses was not worth the money, how the staff dealt with me and my 12 year old. At pick up it felt more friendly until we asked to have her glasses adjusted and were told there would be a wait and didnt know how long until they could assist us...seems to me that should be part of the picking up of brand new glasses! Making sure you are happy and they are fitted before you leave!!! I will never be back to their office. Finally Darlene helped us and was very kind and accommodating.
Very slip-shod office. Its hit and miss trying to call and actually have them answer the phone. Dont choose this place if you can go elsewhere. Staff not helpful and the Optometrist is marginal. I had to go back and get my glasses prescription adjusted and they lost my frame! It took a month to get notification that my glasses were ready and when they finally called, I was asked if I had the frame! Of course I did not. They replaced the copper brown frame I had chosen with a same shape purple one. They didnt say anything about it, nor apologize, nor ask if I was okay with that. Im frustrated with them and if I asked them for the frames I actually chose, I fear they could do something even worse next time, so I guess Im stuck with purple frames.
If your planning on getting your glasses in two weeks you better wait a lot longer. It’s been 7 weeks and still haven’t received 1 pair of glasses. This will my last time getting glasses at this optometry.
Their lack of customer service is astonishing! They have been giving me the run around for 7 months on one pair of glasses. Its been so long, I even forgot I had a pair to pick up there. I went in for an eye exam, and purchased 2 pairs of glasses from them back in February, and so far have only received 1 pair. I was initially told that they were backed up due to COVID, which is understandable. I was also told that they would reach out to me as soon as they had my second pair ready. Not only have they not reached out to me, every time I call, the Victorville office is either closed, or the person I speak with doesnt know the status of my glasses. They always offer to call back and let me know whats going on, but I never hear back from them. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The absolute worst experience and over priced!!! Stay away from the Eye Shoppe at all cost!
Been a customer for somewhere around 10 years, Dr Lee is great but I cant believe how I was treated by some of the staff. I will be going to another optometrist. They would not use both insurance we have, I was told to leave and treated rude. The other staff member even was embarrassed by the way the staff person spoke to me. Sorry Doc, my 7 patients and money can spend somewhere else.
Awful customer service! Staff and manager are rude. Got an exam about a month ago and glases still havent came in. Every time I call the manager is supposed to call me back but I never get a call back. Dont even waste your time at this place.
Great doctor, great customer service, and just waiting on 2 pair glasses time frame was 3 weeks. Which I dont mind because theyre just sunglasses and not prescription.
The Dr. was quick and helpful during the exam and very nice. The opticians in the front gave warm welcomes and helped us with everything. The entire store was clean and organized with a lots of choices. The manager even helped us in picking what frames fit us best. Really great store!
Really bad customer service. Glasses dont arrive until after 2 months. No customer acknowledgement, no greeting, no smiles, bad attitudes.
It took over one month to receive my son’s glasses. I had to call every week to receive updates. Every week they gave us a different excuse. First, they said that it was the lab’s fault, then they blamed it on their system crashing. My family & I will not return as patients. Avoid this place!
I had a great experience 5 years ago, and I went back last month for exams for me and my two kids, Doctor and staff are great. Frames, prices and payments options are awesome!!!
Warning do not go here!!!!!!!!Worst experience Ive had.it took them one month and 3 weeks to get my eye glasses when I called to get updates the phone goes to voicemail,when I finally picked up my glasses I was told I had a balance of $100when I had paid in full full for two pairs of glasses, I ended up paying close to $900 I walked away feeling I was robbed. I will not return to this place theres other places in the high desert. After reading a few reviews. It looks like its a pattern with this business
Dr. Lee and staff were great AS ALWAYS! They treated my 3 year old daughter so well as frightened as she was for her first exam (at that time 2 years old). A year later came back for her follow up and the staff were just as great and Dr. Lee was AMAZING! Wont be going anywhere else for myself or children as long as this Eye Shoppe Optometry is around!
A little hectic because I went in on a Saturday and looks like they had a very full schedule, but the doctor was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The techs and front office staff were are all very helpful, friendly, and also knowledgeable. Good prices too for exams and such a great frame selection. The most selection in the area that I have seen, You also get a discount if you like them on Facebook. Over all, a very pleasant experience and both my daughter and I were happy with service and glasses.
Appointments take hours and the staff is so busy talking on their phones they dont care. Took over a month to get my husbands safety glasses then they stamped it with a different unions stamp. They said we will give you a refund asked what card I want it put on then put on a different card. This place is too expensive and not well run will never return customer service is a Complete joke.
Worst place to ever go, came in picked out frames, turned in my prescription paper, had my nose measurements done, was charged $43 (insurance covered the rest of it), John “implemented” my information on their computer, was told that I would have to wait 13 business days, I had to call myself to check the status of my glasses, was on hold for long periods of time, was told by John that he was gonna call back, never did. The 13 day I called, I spoke with a woman telling me i wasn’t on record, same day I walked in to talk to John who was solely responsible for my glasses, John was blaming the computer instead of taking responsibility, if you want your time wasted waiting on your glasses, this is the place to go, if you don’t want your time and money wasted, I suggest you find another shop place, this shop has the worst customer service

Staff too busy to answer your calls. Also too busy after you make an appointment talking on their phones. This is supposed to be a premier service center for my insurance. What a disappointment, ordered one pair of glasses paid more than $650 out of my pocket with my insurance. They forgot to order my second pair saying they thought my insurance didn’t allow it. After they tried to correct it wasted Four weeks of time. Save yourself some money and aggravation there are plenty of other eyeglass places in the area.
Doctoring customer service was great the day we were buying glasses and getting an exam....But after that it was a completely different experience, I felt like a bother asking any questions, very short, seemed like they could not wait to get me out of their life, horrible customer service . When I call Very unhelpful, Branch to branch communication seemed very unorganized and almost nonexistent. Once I bought mine and my daughters glasses we were no longer a priority and that was very obvious. Don’t even get me started on the warranty policy!!! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
The office is nice but little bit of options on the frames you can buy. One thing is the doctor is never there and once you order the glasses the glasses take really long to come so not really a good place...
When you order glasses it takes more than a month to recieve them i havent even gotten mine.

Very unorganized,lacks experienced and personal opticians,can never get thru phone line to actually talk to a person.
They said my glasses would take 2-3 weeks to make... when we came back after 3 weeks they said it would take 10-15 more days to make.
